[The following video from Showdown plays...] [Darring moves over and pulls Pat to his feet, grabbing him and putting him in suplex position. He pauses to gather strength and then lifts him high into the air before dropping him with a vertical suplex. The crowd starts chanting for the Legend as this connects.] CHANEY: VERTICAL SUPLEX BY DARRING!!! I think he is tuning up for the Legend Lock! WATTERS: No way he gets that locked onto Pat Gordon! [Darring pulls Gordon up and grabs him from the side and lifts him off the mat before dropping him across his right knee.] CHANEY: BACK BREAKER BY DARRING. This could be it! WATTERS: He won't get it locked. No way. Gordon is too good and too prepared. CHANEY: You can be prepared all you want and knwo its coming. If a guy liek Darring wants to lock you down, he can do it. WATTERS: Not Gordon. I refuse to think that will happen! [Darring is taking a moment to get his breath back as Gordon is still attemting to move and roll over. Sean goes over and pulls Gordon up and yanks his head back from behind into inverted DDT position. Darring cracks a slight smile as he walks to the corner and steps back onto the second rope. He leaps and spins Gordon around for in inverted spike DDT.] CHANEY: INVERTED SPIKE DDT BY DARRING AND HE HAS THIS ONE LOCKED DOWN!!! WATTERS: That is if he can finally finish! [Suddenly the screen widens and the crowd gasps as another man is in the ring and the referee is down in the near corner.] CHANEY: WHERE THE HELL DID HE COME FROM?!?!?! WATTERS: SNIDER IS DOWN!!!! [The lights come back on and in the ring stands a figure we saw last Rampage. The man responsible for all the havoc at live events and the injuries to Big Red Love Machine and Hank Wright. He is standing right behind Darring as the Legend gets to his feet. In the background, we can see that referee Barry Snider is down and out in that near corner.] CHANEY: ALEX REYN!!! ALEX REYN IS IN THE FREAKING RING!!! WATTERS: This isn't going to be good for anybody, we saw what he did to Hank Wright last Rampage! CHANEY: Where did he come from? We never saw him come from the crowd or anything! He just suddenly was there! WATTERS: That is the scariest part about him. He's like the boogeyman! BOBAYEGA!!!!! [Reyn grabs Darring by the head in a chancery hold, lifts him into the air horizontal to the canvas and drops him with a spinning cutter to the mat. Darring is laid out as Reyn stands above him with a cold look on his face.] CHANEY: EAST WIND CUTTER!!! REYN JUST DROPPED DARRING WITH THE EAST WIND CUTTER!!! WATTERS: Well if you are Pat Gordon, you better feel good because he may just hand you the title here. CHANEY: But why Darring? WATTERS: Who knows with this guy? All I know is that I hope he doesn't know the hotet I stay at! [He reaches down and pulls Darring to his feet in a chancery hold. And once again delivers the East Wind Cutter with nasty profficiency. The crowd is booing loudly as Reyn stands again over his prey and then turns his head to a moving Pat Gordon Jr.] CHANEY: ANOTHER EAST WIND CUTTER ON DARRING!!! WATTERS: OH NO HE JUST SAW GORDON IN THERE!!! CHANEY: I don't think he's finished! I think he is here making a point in the worst way at the worst time for SCW! WATTERS: BOBAYEGA!!!!! [Reyn goes over to Gordon and pulls him up, then begins landing strike after strike against the corner before grabbing him by the head and taking off for a running front flip DDT that snaps Gordon back to his feet long enough for Reyn to plant a superkick to Gordon's face and stagger him into the corner.] CHANEY: ASCENDANT'S WRATH!!! GOOD LORD HE NEARLY KICKED GORDON'S HEAD OFF!!! WATTERS: WHAT IS HE DOING?!?!?! [The view widens back to the full ring and Reyn is now nowhere to be seen.] CHANEY: WHERE THE HELL DID HE GO?!?!?! WATTERS: We've heard stories of this guy, but he literally just kind of disappeared! CHANEY: And Gordon is reeling! WATTERS: Good God he attacked everybody in there! [Gordon takes a step out of the corner and falls forward to the canvas near where Darring is laid out. Pat's arm falls across the knee of Gordon as Barry Snider rouses himself to see the scene in front of him. He makes his way over and groggily counts.] CHANEY: YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!! WATTERS: THIS IS AWESOME!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: THIS ONE IS OVER AND GORDON IS CHAMP!!! WATTERS: PAT GORDON JUNIOR IS THE LONESTAR HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!! Say it with me people!!! CHANEY: This was the oddest ending I have ever witnessed, and I have witnessed a hell of a lot! WATTERS: Best. Night. EVER!!! [The fans erupt in boos as Gordon's name is announced as the winner. Gordon slowly begins to rouse up as the referee receives the Lonestar Heavyweight Title belt. He walks over to Gordon, and helps him the rest of the way up before handing him the gold.] CHANEY: He may not have a clue where he is right now, but at some point Gordon will realize he has the gold! WATTERS: THIS IS THE GREATEST MOMENT IN SCW HISTORY!!! Pat Gordon has the belt! CHANEY: You are really excited! WATTERS: The man overcame every possible obstacle to do it, even beating the only man that has beaten him in SCW to this point. [El Gringo Loco has slid into the ring and starts celebrating as he holds the hand with the belt in it high. Gordon still looks a little punchy, but is smilign now as his manager keeps yelling "in the bag" as loud as he can. Gordon's delight is obvious as they continue celebrating the victory.] CHANEY: Pat Gordon Junior is champion and he knows Alfie Button is next on his list! WATTERS: That is a matter for another time, Chaney! Tonight, we celebrate! [The screen goes black] . . . . . . [The screen is black as the beginning notes of "Legendary" by Skillet begin to be heard.] [As the melody begins to be heard, we see the SCW letters flash across the screen in brilliant burnt orange letters.] #Legendary. OHHHHHHHH!!!# [The music continues as the word "RAMPAGE" superimposes in white letters over the burnt orange SCW letters.] #Legendary. OHHHHHHHH!!!# [The guitar riffs kick in as the logo breaks into flame in the center and burns toward the outer edges of the screen like Bonanza's old theme.] #OHHHHHHHH!!! Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh# [The moment the lead singer's first "OH" is heard, the flames dissipate and allow us to see a the screen split into a pair of pictures. The first is Pat Gordon Jr. standing on the turnbuckles in the corner on the left, while the right picture is Caleb Foley standing in the center of the ring holding a finger out to point at the fans.] #OHHHHHHHH!!! Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh# [The screen switches to show Windham Brody stepping over the top rope.] #My heart bleeds adrenaline# #The fire I breathe is where I live# [The screen shows a vid cap of Bam Markham pounding his fist into his chest.] #(Say my name) Incredible# #(Say my name) An animal# [Switch to show vid cap of Chris Smith clotheslining an opponent and then raising his arms in triumph.] #One life to live# #I never give up, I never give in# [The screen switches to show all four brothers of the Rich Family walking down the aisle and greeting fans, only to switch to El Gringo Loco and Las Preguntas standing in the ring taunting ringside fans.] #Some people wanna turn and run# #But the strong rise under the gun# [Screen shows Tripp Skylark leaping off the top turnbuckle and high into the air toward the outside of the ring before it dissolves into the next vid cap.] #Top, to the top# #Ain't never gonna stop# [Video cap of Chase Williams grabbing hold of a wrestler and crashing him to the canvas with a choke slam.] #To the top, to the top# #Ain't never gonna stop# [Quick vid cap of Alfie Button kipping up in a match.] #Never gonna keep me down (never keep me)# [A few quick pictures are quickly seen of Gazi, Steve Dann, Michael Wilson, and Johnny Psychotic.] #Still the one that's standing now (never falling)# [Vid Cap of Pat Gordon Jr locking on the "Pat Lock" submission hold.] #Destiny is calling me# #Go down in history# #Every day I'll fight to be# [The vid cap shows Alfie Button poised on the top rope and leaping into the air for a 720 DDT on his opponent. He hits and jumps up right as the title words are sung.] #Legendary# [Vid cap of Johnny Psychotic landing his top rope superplex finisher.] #OHHHHHHHH!!! Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh# [Pictures of the Health Fanatics, Prague Drinking Team, Sweaty Bling and The Maniacs are seen quickly.] #OHHHHHHHH!!! Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh# [The screen shows the vid cap of The Rich Family, with all four smiling and pointing an index finger toward the camera.] #Legendary# #OHHHHHHHH!!!!# [As the driving music continues the screen explodes into a million pieces and reveals the SCW Arena with the ring in the center of the view. The crowd is sparse in the upper regions, but the ringside seats are jam packed as we see them cheering loudly and hear the sounds of enthusiasm as our host announce team begins to speak.] CHANEY: WELCOME EVERYBODY TO SCW RAMPAGE and we are LIVE from THE FERTITTA CENTER IN HOUSTON, TEXAS!!! Our first foray out of Dallas for one of our live shows! My name is Eric Chaney and with me, as always, is wrestling legend Larry "The Crusher" Watters! WATTERS: Evenin' folks and welcome to my show! [The screen fades form the view of the ringside fans to the announce table at ringside where our announcers will call the action. Chaney is wearing a royal blue "SCW" polo shirt and has his dark hair slicked back, looking as "GQ" as humanly possible. While next to him, Larry is wearing his usual denim shirt and trademark scowl, which even with his grey beard is unmistakable as a man who attempts to stay unhappy most of the time.] CHANEY: Your show? WATTERS: Well they don't tune in to listen to you drone on, Chaney! CHANEY: I would say that goes for both of us as the true stars here perform in that very ring up there! WATTERS: I've done that. CHANEY: Years ago! WATTERS: I'm not THAT old. CHANEY: I once heard you tapped out to Moses. WATTERS: This is going to be a long night, isn't it? CHANEY: It's going to be a great night tonight as we are! WATTERS: How great of a night will it be without the Lonestar Champion? CHANEY: Fans, Pat Gordon Jr. has not made it here to Dallas. There are rumors of a dirty prank played on him at the airport involving well-hidden dog biscuits and the TSA drug-sniffing dogs. WATTERS: That is always a great rib! CHANEY: NOT when you need to show off the first show after winning the Title! WATTERS: I can see that. I wish we knew who did it. CHANEY: Everybody has ideas, but nobody knows for sure. WATTERS: Then don't start making accusations and leave it there, Chaney! CHANEY: Fine, Larry, as we have a docket full of matches and it seemed like it would be "tag team night" here in Houston! WATTERS: Five tag team matches tonight, including the main event, which still has me curious how Johnny Psychotic isn't getting the short end of the stick. CHANEY: How do you figure? WATTERS: He is teamed up with Caleb Foley and that may leave him at a decided disadvantage if Caleb isn't willing to truly fight alongside him. CHANEY: Caleb always fights where assigned. WATTERS: Not like this. The guy has been a goody-two-shoes of sorts for years, and to get put with a man who does what he needs to do means he may not work well if at all with him. CHANEY: And will Tiberius Nixon even be at ringside. WATTERS: No restrictions on him in that regard, BUT we also know he isn't keen on being near SAGAWA! CHANEY: Earlier today, we got some footage from Nixon and Johnny Psychotic. Let's see what was discussed, shall we? WATTERS: Why yes! Roll the tape!
[The scene opens outside the Fertitta Center in Houston, TX. In the bottom of the screen is the denotation "EARLIER TODAY." The camera crew are clearly set up across the road and watching the front steps... The camera pans left and a figure can be seen seated on the lower steps wearing a hoodie and with his head down; almost as if he is contemplating something... He appears to have a cell phone phone in his hand and is getting frustrated that the person he is trying to call isn't answering... He looks up briefly and we see that it is Johnny Psychotic before he looks down again...] PSYCHOTIC: Dammit! Answer your phone... [He calls the number again and this time it connects... A phone starts to ring nearby...] Voice: Hey buddy... Are you trying to call me? [Psychotic looks up as the camera pans out slightly to show a man approaching the steps... Johnny looks up from his phone and a huge grin breaks across his face...] PSYCHOTIC: Tiberius Nixon as I live and breathe... How are you? Honestly didn't expect you to be here... Trying to call you to talk about the match later... NIXON: That probably explains why I didn't hear from you over the holidays then? PSYCHOTIC: Yeah... Sorry about that... There’s a lot going on at home and I left my cell phone off for most of the holidays to be fair... NIXON: So – anyway – what did you want to speak to me about? PSYCHOTIC: It was actually just to say that I don’t think you should come to the ring with me later... Because of --- [Nixon stares deep into the camera...] NIXON: "SAGAWA!" [He steps back slightly... Johnny starts to laugh...] PSYCHOTIC: Hahaha... You’re still doing that... Even after everything... NIXON: Yeah... It helps me deal with things... To be fair I had no intention of being at ringside... Nowhere near that lunatic... I’m booked into one of the sky boxes in there... [He nods towards the arena...] NIXON: It sure is an interesting match... They’re teaming you up with guy that put you out of the Lonestar Championship tournament... Against a certified lunatic and the man who became the #1 contender for the Championship at the iPPV... So many combustible elements in there... PSYCHOTIC: I know, I know... I don’t think things are anywhere near over between The Kochi Cannibal and The Human Heart Attack... Not by a long shot but at the end of the day my main objective of this match is to pick up a win... Things are heating up in SCW with the arrival of guys like Kostya Demidov, John Henry Jones and Alex Reyn to the party... None of them had better think they are going to take my thunder away from me... Foley you can either help me or get in my way, whatever you decide to do in the match I owe you a pinfall son and somewhere down the line I am going to get it... [Nixon nods in agreement...] PSYCHOTIC: And will be you around at the upcoming shows? NIXON: Not sure if I’m going to be at the Louisiana show but I will definitely be at the Oklahoma show... And – I’ll have someone else with me... [Psychotic’s brow wrinkles as he tries to think who...] NIXON: You haven’t seen him for a little while? [The penny drops and Psychotic grins...] PSYCHOTIC: Legit? NIXON: Yes sir... He’s going to make the journey from Colorado and will be watching the show... PSYCHOTIC: My main man Damian Payne is going to be in attendance... Hope Hank gives me a good match so that I can showcase what I have learnt since I last saw Damo... NIXON: So – you’re ready for tonight and for the rest of 2020? PSYCHOTIC: You’re damn right I am, Ti... Just sit and watch tonight’s match and you will see just how ready I am... [With that Psychotic turns and starts to jog up the steps as Nixon watches on and the screen fades out --- to black...]
[The screen opens to the inside of a makeshift office inside the Fertitta Center. Behind the desk is newly hired SCW Commissioner Chris Hopper and in front of the desk in a chair is “The Legend” Sean Darring. As the screen goes live with its view, the two men are already in mid discussion.] HOPPER: Listen, Sean, I get it, believe me, I do, but this could be suicide for someone as high up the totem pole as you are. [A passionate Sean Darring wastes no time in responding to the commissioner.] LSD: Chris, you and I have been around a long time. When we broke into this business we didn’t take no for an answer. That’s why we both are where we are today. You know me. You know what I stand for. You know _WHY_ I am here! [Chris Hopper listens as the legend continues to plead his case.] LSD: This isn’t about totem poles. I understand you have a business to run and protect, but I was _THIS_ close in becoming the SCW Champion. That night meant a lot to me and the fans. I am not leaving this office until I have my chance at making this right. I am not asking you… [With fire in the legend’s eyes he leans forward.] LSD: I am telling you, I want this match! [The Legend shouts with intensity as the fellow wrestling legend and SCW commissioner Chris Hopper leans back listening to Sean Darring.] HOPPER: Do you realize I have a large number of people who want a shot at this punk? He has been pulling stuff like this for years everywhere he has been. Ask Keegan and Alfie about him. If he were able to talk, you could even talk to Hank Wright. The list of people who want this guy is long, so why do I allow one of my top draws to risk his health and safety…. [Darring looks like he is ready to interject, but Chris puts his hand up and continues.] HOPPER: ….hold on a second there….You want to risk health, safety, and potential earnings at your age just to face off against a guy you know nothing about? You could be the best technical guy in the ring I have ever witnessed, but this guy isn’t exactly technical. LSD: Neither was Sagawa. HOPPER: Fair point, but you had time to prepare for that insanity. This guy you are giving up the chance to strategize. Are you sure you want to do that? [The Legend doesn’t waste any time.] LSD: Chris, you know better than anyone else. Tomorrow isn’t promised at our age. I am here tonight and I am ready. You talked about that long list wanting to step inside the ring with him. Well, they aren’t me. They haven’t earned a special request as I have. He took the SCW Championship from me. We are about to go national. Let’s make a big splash here tonight! [Just as Chris gets ready to speak, the screen widens and Alex Reyn is standing in the office with them. He calmly steps towards them, his blue eyes studying Sean Darring carefully from beneath his curtain of black hair. Then his mouth quirks into a small smile] REYN: So the carcass twitches. Very well relic. I’ll humour you. [The view shows the whole office again and he is gone. Darring and Hopper look at each other for a second and then shake their heads.] HOPPER: Well, I guess you got your match tonight. [Sean gets up from his chair, but Hopper stops him in mid stride.] HOPPER: And Sean, please don’t make me say I told you so. [A legendary smirk forms as the legend responds.] LSD: Actions have consequences. Tonight, it’s time to make things right. [The screen cuts away.]
[A tall figure stands before the SCW camera crew. This is the first time we have seen this figure on SCW television. He has on a nice black suit and a matching black stetson cowboy hat. His piercing blue eyes stare into the camera, but a warm smile sits upon his grizzled dirty blonde five o'clock shadow face.] MAN: Big Texas - Howdy! [The man nods his Cowboy hat down.] MAN: For those of you that don't know me, I have traveled these back Texan roads for 14 years wrestling all over gods country. I have wrestled in every bingo hall around the state and it's my honor to be in the biggest wrestling promotion Texas has had in ten plus years! [A strong Texan accent is heard and the man continues to speak.] MAN: They call me, "The Law" John Henry Jones. A true Texan son through and through. Born and raised in Luckenbach, Texas. But, a man that has slept on the dirt our great fore fathers died for many times. [Ear to ear Texan smile.] JONES: No, I am not talking about George Washington and those great Americans. I am talking about _OUR_ fore fathers. William Travis Davy Crockett Jim Bowie Micajah Autrie James Bonham [A big Texan bow as John Henry Jones tips his hat in respect.] JONES: As a true Texan son that is here to defend Texan honor and traditions. I am here to take on any man who feels tough enough to step in the ring and tussle with a true Texan son. As my nick name I earned on these back roads, The Law states ... I am honorable and I am here to defend the morals of all good Texan men and women. [John Henry Jones raises his big right gauntlet and sticks a finger out pointing at the camera.] JONES: So which one of you filthy animals needs a lesson in the law? I am old school in morals ... I am old school in traditions ... and I am old school with my methodology. However, one thing will always remain the same. We send those to the undertaker who disrespects Texan and her laws. [The tall Texan puts his cowboy hat back on and straightens his suit jacket.] JONES: I will be watching. I will be waiting. When you see me comin' you will know that a Texan ass whoopin' is about to come your way. [One final Texan grin as the screen fades out.]
[We return to the ringside announce table where our broadcast team is ready to go.] CHANEY: John Henry Jones certainly looks to be an imposing figure. WATTERS: We'll see when he actually gets in the ring. CHANEY: That will be next Rampage, Larry. WATTERS: I'm sure he will do fine, and hopefully not make a bad decision like Sean Darring just did. CHANEY: That move doesn't surprise me at all. He feels like Alex Reyn played a hand in how the main event at Showdown ended and he wants to exact some measure of revenge. WATTERS: At what cost? Reyn is a known KILLER! The man has destroyed careers, and there are people who know that first hand, like Hopper himself! CHANEY: Darring asked for it and Reyn accepted. What more could Hopper do by grant the match for later tonight. WATTERS: Welcome to the SCW folks. Where the champ gets held up by TSA and veterans make bad decisions leading to their retirements! CHANEY: Larry! WATTERS: I call it like I see it, bub! CHANEY: Well let's get to our first match as a new face is arriving in SCW, CK Beretta! WATTERS: I have seen him before and he can go in the ring. He liks the sheeple at ringside a little too much, but he has skills. CHANEY: Tonight he debuts against Billy James, a man who knows how to pull off an upset here and there. WATTERS: Everybody still talks about when he knocked off Chase Williams months ago. Beretta better still be ready to rumble or he could be another notch on the Regulator's belt! CHANEY: Well let's head to the ring and Aaron "The Buff" Buffington to get this one started!
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]

[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is set for one fall and has a fifteen-minute time limit! Introducing first, from El Paso, Texas and weighing in at two hundred-fifty-one pounds! Here is... B I L L Y "T H E R E G U L A T O R" J A M E S ! ! ! ["Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi begins to play and the guitar strums sound more eerie with James as the beneficiary. Billy enters the arena through the entrance curtain, wearing his blue jeans and boots with a black cowboy hat on for good measure. He taunts the fans a little as they jeer him. He enters the ring and raises his arms high to the somewhat negative reaction of the crowd.] CHANEY: Billy James may not be a beloved figure in SCW, but he has proven a tough opening foe. WATTERS: He has, remember when he defeated Chase Williams way back when? CHANEY: I do, and that means a lot of potential trouble for his opponent tonight. WATTERS: When you are bringing a brand new quantity into a locker room, it is good to see what they are made of. This will be a good test for him. [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent, hailing from Norge, Virginia and weighing in at two hundred, sixty-five pounds. Here is.... C K B E R E T T A ! ! ! [As Yngwie Malmsteen's "Hairtrigger" plays over the speakers, Ck Beretta walks out from the back, dressed in his shorts, boots and kneepads, ready to go. He walks down to the ring, reaching out to ready and eager fans, looking for a slap of the hand or any acknowledgement from Beretta. He climbs into the ring, and raises both arms, fists clenched, to the cheering crowd.] CHANEY: CK Beretta has arrived, Larry, and he looks like he is ready to go! WATTERS: He better be because James may be the biggest opportunist we have here for this kind of match. CHANEY: Beretta comes at a great moment, as a solid performance here and he could be in consideration for the TV Title, which we hear will be discussed later. WATTERS: Let him walk before he runs, Chaney. This match first, gold later. [DING! DING!! DING!!!] CHANEY: There's the bell and this one is underway! WATTERS: We've seen James pull off victories before, so Beretta better be careful in there. CHANEY: The book on Beretta is one of complete focus. I doubt he will get caught off guard the way others have. WATTERS: Anything can happen, Chaney. Anything. [James moves toward Beretta and they circle around before lunging into a tie-up. Billy grabs a quick advantage and gains a side headlock on Beretta. He nods as if he has accomplished a great feat before CK shoves him off and into the ropes. James rebounds into an arm drag by Beretta that sends him to the canvas.] CHANEY: Arm drag by Beretta gets him the early advantage. WATTERS: Good form on it as well. Escaping the side headlock showed some skill also. CHANEY: Are you warming up to him, Larry? WATTERS: I'm just commenting on the match. Like or dislike takes me a little longer. [Beretta has a steeley glare of focus as he immediately grabs James for a clubbing forearm to the back and then another. He then scoops him up and drops James with a bodyslam in the center of the ring and drops a knee right into the forehead for good measure. The crowd gives a polite pop for his advance.] CHANEY: Bodyslam into a knee drop to the forehead and Beretta in total control! WATTERS: And he seems to get a rise out of the fans, which means he is already down a peg in my book. [CK gives a nod to the crowd as he pulls Billy back up to his feet, at which James takes the opportunity to hit him with a low blow and regain advantage. The crowd boos the short cut by "The Regulator."] CHANEY: LOW BLOW BY JAMES!!! WATTERS: Speaking of having a peg downed! James just struck a solid blow there! CHANEY: Billy James uses a cheap shot and Beretta loses control. WATTERS: I love when new guys aren't careful! [James pushes Beretta into the corner and hits a knife-edge chop on his chest, which gets the usual response from the crowd. James then sets up for an irish Whip across the ring, but Beretta reverses it and sends James into the opposite turnbuckles with a ton of forces. Billy hits them with a thud and stumbles back out of the corner into a leaping lariat by Beretta.] CHANEY: BERETTA TAKES JAMES DOWN WITH A LARIAT!!! WHAT A REVERSAL!!! WATTERS: James never saw it coming! I could call THAT a cheap blow! CHANEY: No way, Larry. Beretta just pounced the way he should in there and James ate a big lariat for his trouble! WATTERS: This guy is starting to annoy me. [Beretta pulls James up and gets him into position for a suplex lift. CK lifts James up and holds him straight up in the air for several seconds as the fans begin to clamor a little at how long he holds him there. Finally he drops the vertical suplex back toward center ring and they land with a loud crash.] CHANEY: BIG VERTICAL SUPLEX BY CK BERETTA!!! WATTERS: He held him up there quite awhile and that blood rushed to the head before the crash. CHANEY: That was a textbook move in gaining control over your opponent. WATTERS: It is definitely effective. [Beretta is back to his feet quickly and the fans give him another cheer as he reaches down and pulls James off the mat. He grabs him around the neck in a front chancery and then spins to the mat with a nasty spinning DDT.] CHANEY: THE HAIRTRIGGER!!! WHAT A SPINNING DDT!!! WATTERS: He planted him with it and here's the cover! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHHRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: CK Beretta with a victory in his SCW debut! WATTERS: It isn't a shock, he surprisingly controlled the whole match! CHANEY: He has definitely shown what is to come from him as he begins his time here in SCW and it all looks like it will be special! WATTERS: You never know. [The fans cheer as Beretta stands to his feet with his arm raised in the air.] CHANEY: The fans appreciate him as well. WATTERS: Well they don't know him yet, he may be an asshole. You really cannot tell on these things, Chaney. CHANEY: Steve Blaine has entered the ring and looks like we may get a few words from the SCWs newest victor! WATTERS: Interesting. [The screen focuses in on Blaine as he walks up to Beretta and lifts the microphone to his mouth.] BLAINE: CK Beretta, allow me to be the first to welcome you to Southwestern Championship Wrestling. You've shown some great promise and I'm sure you've made a few fans here tonight. What do you have to say to everyone watching tonight who may not know about CK Beretta? [Beretta smiles a sly grin as he catches his breath.] BERETTA: Hey, boss, thanks for the welcome. I came a long way to prove myself and I know I ain't done yet. This ol' Virginia boy is here to make a name for himself and it starts tonight. [Beretta smiles and throws an arm up to nearby cheering fans.] BERETTA: There's a lotta talent in this company and I aim to see how I fare against 'em all. I ain't lookin' to sit on the sidelines and hope the big day comes. I'm here to make my day happen. Anyone wants to try and prove me wrong, c'mon and step up, cuz I'm waitin' on ya. [As his music starts back up on the PA System, Beretta claps Blaine's back, exits the ring and makes his way backstage, slapping hands with ready and eager fans along the way. Suddenly out of nowhere Windham Brody stands in the entrance aisle and drops Beretta with a hard right hand that gets the fans booing immediately.] CHANEY: WINDHAM BRODY! WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! WATTERS: Someone took offense to this guy pretty fast! [Brody wags his finger at his fallen prey and walks back through the entrance aisle.] CHANEY: NO EXPLAINATION?!?! WATTERS: He's Windham freaking Brody and he doesn't have to explain anything to anybody! CHANEY: He just walked out here with zero provocation and assaulted the debuting CK Beretta. I think we deserve to know why. WATTERS: I don't think Brody cares about what you think you deserve. CHANEY: This is insanity! WATTERS: Yeah! Sometimes it really is! [The screen cuts away.]
[We cut to the SCW banner and standing in front of it, with big smiles on their faces, are the Pirate of Bling and Tony Sweat aka.. SWEATY BLING!] TPOB: YO HO HO! Ahoy, me Hearties! Do ye know who we be? [Bling's smile is growing larger by the second! He glances at Tony who nods his smiling head, sending beads of sweat flying everywhere, before Bling looks back at the camera.] TPOB: WE BE THE FUTURE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! [Tony pumps his fists and does two pelvic thrusts into the air, all of which sends more perspiration scattering around the place.] SWEAT: That's right, man! The Pirate and I, Tony Sweat, we sent those masked scammers flying down into the trash can and we are now not only the HOTTEST tag team around.. We gotta' be number one contenders! TPOB: Aye, Tony! We SHOULD be! [Bling steps closer towards the camera.] TPOB: The Masked Sons of Biscuit Eaters walked the plank and sleep with the fishies now! That business be dead and buried deep in Davy Jones locker and our path towards them SCW Tag Team gold now be obstructed by these lads, Keith and Steve. [Tony makes a disgusted face.] SWEAT: Keith and Steve?! Are these more scammers?! [Bling shakes his head.] TPOB: Nay, my friend. They not be scammers.. THEY BE FISH FOOD! [Tony smiles real big and jabs a finger at the camera, sending sweat aflying.] SWEAT: Yeah! TPOB: 'Nuff Said, ye be dead men walking because any team that stands between us and them tag team treasures will feel the ol' heave ho into the ocean and towards the sandy bottom floor! SWEAT: But don't worry about being lonely, those masked scammers will probably greet you and try to get you to sign up for stuff! Damn, scammers! [Bling shakes his head at Tony.] TPOB: Don't worry about them, Tony! It will be nice and quiet down there because dead men tell no tales! [Pirate jabs a finger towards the camera.] TPOB: ALL the tag teams of SCW are on notice, now! We want the belts and we've shown ye what we'll do for them! Move out of our way or prepare to be cleaved to the brisket! Sweaty Bling are going to be your NEXT tag team champions! [Tony pumps a glistening sweaty fist and then pats his partner on the shoulder with his other hand, sending streams of sweat onto Bling's arm. The Pirate closes his eyes, trying to disassociate mentally from what he is experiencing at this moment. Survival tactics.] SWEAT: WE'RE GONNA BE CHAMPS YEAH! [Scene cuts away...]
[As commercials begin to play, this one runs first.] [The screen is black and we hear a very low booming voice come over the black screen.] VOICE OVER: There are millions of ways to find out more about the SCW and it's superstars. But here is the best way... [The screen stays black as we hear a mouse click and then the screen goes to static for a second. Finally when the static leaves, we see the main page of the SCW Web site.] VOICE OVER: The internet. SCW is now on the internet with all sorts of information about your favorite wrestling superstars. There are the current results and fan reactions and the ever popular Title Histories page. [The screen shows a mouse pointer being moved over to the side menu and clicking on the link to show the Forum blog.] VOICE OVER: There is even a blog to interact with your favorite SCW superstar! See what your favorite wrestler has to say away from the ring. [The mouse pointer goes over to the side menu and clicks on the roster link.] VOICE OVER: You can even see the vital statistics on all of your favorite SCW superstars. Where did they come from and why did they begin wrestling? It is all inside the roster section waiting to be explored. [The screen switches to show the mouse clicking on the rumors page link.] VOICE OVER: Go to the rumor section to find out some information that even the SCW leadership may not want the public to see. It is all here right now, and you have to do is point and click. [The screen shows the mouse going back to the home page and the logo from the screen literally jumps from the computer screen to fill the entire screen.] VOICE OVER: Yes SCW has gone cyber with their new web site. So get you hook up here! [The voice trails off and we see the logo stay on the screen as the following URL come just under the logo] http://www.scw.fwrestling.com/ [Fade to black.]
[The screen switchesbackstage where we see Windham Brody walking as Tess Wiley rushes up with a microphone in hand.] WILEY: Mr. Brody! Why in the world did you attack CK Beretta? He just debuted and had done NOTHING to you! [He stops walking and looks down at the small lady trying to interview him.] BRODY: Why? I'm tired of these Johnny come latelys coming here thinking they can jump the line! [Brody pushes his hair back.] BRODY: They need to realize there's a pecking order around here and that begins with yours truly. [He points a thumb toward his own chest.] BRODY: If Barretta thinks he is main event bound, then let me tell him a little something. [He looks directly into the camera to add menace to his words.] BRODY: It's going to be a long hard ride and it's going to be down a road he needs to think really long about whether he wants to travel down it or not. Because few ever come back and that's because there's only one rule and that's [dramatic pause.] BRODY: BRODY RULES! [He shrugs and walks away as Tess is left standing.] WILEY: Looks like Windham Brody sees a potential threat coming in CK Beretta, guys. [The screen fades and then cuts away.]
[We return to the ringside announce team, sitting at the broadcast table as Larry has a wide gring on his face.] WATTERS: Damn straight! CHANEY: Why do you like bullies so much, Larry. WATTERS: The guy isn't a bully, he's just protecting his spot and daring anyone to come after it! I love that! CHANEY: CK Beretta gets a successful debut and then doesn't get to enjoy it. How is that not being a bully? WATTERS: Brody knows how to play the game, Chaney. You may not like the way he goes about it, but he gets it. That makes him worth cheering for for me. CHANEY: Well that makes one of us as I will never condone such attacks. WATTERS: Sure, whatever. [Eric shrugs off Larry's comment and continues on.] CHANEY: Fans, we have arrived at the first of our five ta team matches this evening as Sweaty Bling will be in action against 'Nuff Said. WATTERS: Tony and the Pirate have been on a tear, and as you heard, they want some gold! CHANEY: As you are fond of saying, Larry, this is the deepest tag team division in all of professional wrestling. That is an uphill climb for sure. WATTERS: They already won the "Walk the Plank" match at Showdown. That was a big deal and should have them in line for some gold for sure. CHANEY: They spent much of their time worried about phone numbers and the Masked Bros. WATTERS: And they were victorious! CHANEY: So now they move to the next stage. WATTERS: And they will be victorious there also! CHANEY: We shall see, let's head to the ring and find out!
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]

[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, this tag team match is set for one fall and has a fifteen-minute time limit! Introducing first, already in the ring, at a combined weight of 431 pounds, the team of "Kamikaze" Keith and "Suicidal" Steve... 'N U F F S A I D ! ! ! [A small but enthusiastic reaction erupts as the two team members once again acknowledge the crowd, before returning to their limbering exercises as they wait for their opponents.] CHANEY: There's the two plucky guys people know and love! WATTERS: Yeah, we love to watch them get destroyed! CHANEY: Yet they keep coming back and taking their shots! You have to love that. WATTERS: Whatever! [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And their opponents, weighing in at a combined weight of four hundred-eighty pounds! Here are Tony Sweat and the Pirate of Bling.... S W E A T Y B L I N G ! ! ! ["Sweating for the Gold" by Dro begins to play over the loud speakers as both Tony Sweat and the Pirate of Bling step out from behind the curtain. They ignore the fans as they walk down to the ring, focusing on their opponents and the upcoming match. Tony is already dripping with sweat before he even gets to the ring and he does a double take to see an attractive lady near ringside, which sends a copious amount of sweat flying in thick drops onto some of the ringside fans and all of them freak out. The moment he takes a step toward her, the lady's face cringes in fear and she dips back into the sea of cheering fans. Tony shrugs it off with disappointment and steps onto the apron, following his partner into the ring.] CHANEY: These two are a strange duo, but despite seeming very different, they make it work. WATTERS: They have a singular goal in mind: they want gold. CHANEY: After Showdown, they should definitely have that chance at some point. WATTERS: They have been adamant that is what they truly desire now. [DING! DING!! DING!!!] CHANEY: There's the bell and it looks like "Suicidal" Steve will start off against Tony Sweat. WATTERS: That guy is tough to handle in the ring, Chaney. CHANEY: Because of his skill? WATTERS: A little bit, but mostly it is because it is like trying to grab a greased pig in there with all his sweat! ["Suicidal" Steve and Tony Sweat circle around each other and eventually lunge in for a tie-up. Almost immediately, Steve breaks the hold and jumps back with a disgusted look on his face. Steve begins wiping himself with his hands, showing the sweat from Tony had gotten all over him. Tony Grins and holds his arms out, sweat visibly flying when he does this.] CHANEY: And Steve just learned that the hard way, Larry! (begins chuckling) WATTERS: What can you do? He has learned to live with it and use it to his advantage in there. CHANEY: At what point will the higher ups step in and get him to towel off before entering or something? WATTERS: How can they? Isn't that a form of workplace discrimination? Let him wrestle for crying out loud! [Steve shakes his head and charges in, eating a boot to the gut for his trouble. Tony swings and hits a clubbing forearm to Steve's back, sending sweat flinging around on impact. He yanks Steve up and hits a side Russian leg sweep to take him to the mat.] CHANEY: SIDE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP BY TONY SWEAT!!! WATTERS: He has skills, folks! He's more than just a live-action water fountain! CHANEY: That is a disgusting image, Larry. WATTERS: I think it fits pretty well. I just hope that he wraps his tag title belt in plastic when they win them. [Tony gets to his feet and goes to the corner to tag in his partner, the Pirate of Bling. The Pirate enters the ring and pulls Steve up to his feet, thrusting his fist into the throat area immediately dropping him with an illegal blow. The fans give them the business for this.] CHANEY: In comes the Pirate of Bling and THROWS A JAB TOT HE THROAT!!! WATTERS: The Pirate don't mess around. They want to make a title run. They want that gold and this is how you do it! CHANEY: Not every team resorts to this standard, Larry. WATTERS: Not every team wins gold either, Chaney. You do what you have to do and a Pirate understands that! [The Pirate of Bling pulls Steve up again and scoops him up. He holds him up across his chest and chows off before flipping him back with a fall-away slam that gets another groan out of the crowd. The Pirate makes a motion for a title belt on his waist as he grins widely and looks back to Steve.] CHANEY: Big Fall-away slam by the Pirate of Bling. This guy can do some damage. WATTERS: Both of them are skilled. You get side-tracked by the look, the bodily functions, and yet you forget that these guys have real skill. CHANEY: I hate to say it, but it is working. WATTERS: That is the point. It took you long enough to figure it out. [The Pirate picks Steve up and tags Tony Sweat back into the match. Tony goes to a neutral corner and leans back in wait as the Pirate whips Steve into the opposite corner with force. Tony rushes and hits a nasty avalanche in that corner as the crowd groans again.] CHANEY: Tony Sweat back in and HITS A RUNNING AVALANCHE ON STEVE!!! WATTERS: Remember getting hit with a wet rag or towel? That adds some snap to things and Steve knows how that feels right about now! CHANEY: That is just sick to think about, Larry. WATTERS: Well at least he isn't getting peed on or something. [Tony looks over and sees "Kamikaze" Keith yelling for the tag and cheering his partner on. He grins toward him and pulls Steve up, shoving him into his own corner to make the tag as the crowd cheers. Tony motions for Keith to "come on" as he enters.] CHANEY: Keith wants in the match badly and is egging his partner to escape that corner....and Tony shoves him toward Keith! WATTERS: Yeah right. Come on in, kid and get some if you ant it so bad! CHANEY: Keith jumps into the ring and looks like he really wants to make an impact on Tony Sweat! WATTERS: The guy has great intentions, but he is no match for the glistening gladiator and Tony is going to prove that right here! [Keith charges and misses a punch attempt, eating a thumb to the eye for his trouble. Keith still tries to throw a punch, but his eyesight seems hampered and he misses badly as Tony grins again and forearms him into the corner. He sets him up for the whip across and Keith leaps to propel himself out of the corner, but Tony's sweat is still on he turnbuckles and his feet fly out from under him and he falls straight down, smashing his face on the top turnbuckle as he lands.] CHANEY: GOOD GOD KEITH JUST KNOCKED HIMSELF SILLY!!! WATTERS: He slipped on the turnbuckle! What a dangerous fall! CHANEY: That was all Tony's fault as he leaned against those turnbuckles moments ago! WATTERS: He didn't do it with the intent of causing such a fall. However, I won't say that he won't benefit from it, as obviously Sweaty Bling will benefit as Keith's momentum is over. [Tony begins laughing and walks over to tag his partner into the match. The Pirate of Bling enters the match and waits for Keith to try and get to his feet before rushing in and grabbing him by the waist and lifting him for a belly-to-belly suplex that lands solid in center ring.] CHANEY: BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX BY THE PIRATE OF BLING!!! WATTERS: He is the suplex machine of the duo and he can really make it hurt! CHANEY: Keith is in serious trouble now. WATTERS: Yeah, this one is about to get finished off as X will surely mark the spot! [The Pirate gets to his feet and makes the motion that this one is over as he pulls Keith up and places his head down into position. He lifts him up and drops him with a crucifix power bomb in the middle of the ring. As he covers, Tony rushes around the ring and yanks Steve's legs out from under him to keep him from entering the ring.] CHANEY: CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING!!! WATTERS: STEVE IS DROPPED OUTSIDE AND HERE IS THE COVER! ONE!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: SWEATY BLING WITH THE VICTORY!!! WATTERS: Never a doubt in my mind! These guys are title material CHANEY: Well 'Nuff Said had nothing for them tonight, and you could say they literally slipped on the banana peel for them tonight. WATTERS: Not intentional, but you have to use whatever happens in there to your advantage. [Sweaty Bling celebrates as Tony and the Pirate both raise their arms as their name is announced as the winners. The crowd boos, but they don't care as both make motions for title belts aroudn their waists.] CHANEY: The crowd isn't giving them love. WATTERS: You look in the crowd and see those blue towells here and there. They get plenty of love you refuse to mention, Chaney! CHANEY: I'm not seeing it. WATTERS: I'm not surprised, you moron. [The screen cuts away.]
[Pacing the floor in his gold and blue outfit, covering every inch of his 230-pound frame, complete with a ridiculous crown that would make the free paper ones handed out at a certain fast food franchise look like something straight out of the Tower of London.] PRINCIPE: ¡Por fin! Han recibido el mensaje de enviar solo un estúpido camerman y no Blaine, Gordon o esa zorra, Wiley. [The luchador next door continues pacing the floor of the locker room where he’s stationed.] PRINCIPE: No quieren que sea un campeón aquí. Produzco magia en Showdown y de repente no tengo una pareja esta noche. Habría tenido que haber perdido. Seguro. [A knowing nod accompanies la ultima palabra before it’s substituted by another convinced shake of the head] PRINCIPE: No me importa eso. Lo que me importa son los títulos, la gloria, el dinero y el legado, y todos vienen en dos mil veinte, el año en que el niño se convierte en el hombre y el príncipe finalmente se convierte en el rey. ¡Viva el príncipe! [A salute to himself is the end of the shot.]
[Steve Blaine is either side of the babies of the The Rich Family, Donny and Declan, to his right and the elder statesmen, Freddie and Todd, on the left. All four of the clan are wearing leather jackets with their names emblazoned in their respective colors. Freddie bears orange, Todd’s fancy is green while Declan’s lucky color seems to be red and Donny’s is white.] STEVE BLAINE: I am standing with four proud Texans…[cue cheers] Freddie, Todd, Declan and Donny - The Rich Family. [More applause greets the home state favorites in our first show OUTSIDE of the famed Phoenix. Freddie steps forward, chuckling to himself, placing an arm around Mr. Blaine.] FREDDIE: I won’t lie, Steve. I was a bit worried about the reception we’d get in Houston tonight. BLAINE: It looks like you had nothing to worry about. [Embarrassed, Rich nods.] FREDDIE: We sure appreciate it, but we don’t deserve it. Not with letting Las Preguntas and the Lonestar Tag Team titles get away from us not just once, but twice. [Freddie held his index and middle finger up to emphasize that point before letting ‘Cousin Todd’ take over.] TODD: We let ourselves down, our fathers down and we also let Texas down. [Todd shakes his head and lets ‘The Diamond’ step up.] DECLAN: So, we’re back in the hunt… [Mocking applause emanates from a couple of intruders coming into shot, from Declan and Donny’s side, in the form of Damon Somner and Greg Matthews, sporting matching red, white and blue tracksuit tops.] SOMNER: Talk about rehearsed. What is this? Miss Congeniality? A Rich opens his mouth and the fans applaud like sheep, rinse, repeat, until they eventually turn on you because you’re a bunch of LOSERS. Freddie, where did this good guy start? Dallas? You’re bad guys trying to be good, and as a result, you’ve lost your edge. Then again, you never could win when it mattered, could you? EVERY TIME you step up, you lose and whether that’s in Texas, St. Louis or anywhere, that’ll never change. MATTHEWS: And… FREDDIE: Well done, meathead. How long did that take for you to come up with? The four hours you grunted like a gorilla in the gym or the thirty seconds you grunted in bed last night? [Just as Greg’s about to square up to Freddie, Damon drapes his arm across ‘The Powerhouse’ and steps towards Freddie himself.] SOMNER: You’ve got no class, here or anywhere, and you know it. And, the fact that this audience cheers you says a lot about their collective intelligence being in the single digits. How many times does a team have to lose until they get the message? FREDDIE: One more. To you. SOMNER: Is that a promise? FREDDIE: If we can’t beat you? SOMNER: Yeah. TODD: Freddie… FREDDIE: Got this, Todd. If we can’t beat you and Dumber tonight, we’ll never compete for the Lonestar Tag Team titles ever again. SOMNER: And how about walking away FOR GOOD? FREDDIE: You’ve got that too. SOMNER: Nah, it’s okay. We’ll settle for THE FIRST one, get it? FREDDIE: You’re so funny. SOMNER: Yeah… FREDDIE: You won’t be laughing later on. SOMNER: Looking forward to it. Greg, let’s go and prepare. [The teams split as the screen fades out.]
[Dramatic music is playing in the background. It is night and we see a pair of lights coming toward the camera. These lights are the high beams of a vehicle as it pulls closer. The car, which we now see is a black Mercedes. It finally comes to a stop right at the camera as it swivels up and the door opens. We see a man step out of the car wearing a black suit. He has a scowl on his faceand speaks with a Russian accent, though not so thick as to be difficult to understand.] MAN: My name is Kostya Demidov. [He shuts the car door and begins walking.] DEMIDOV: I love the shadows of night. It has been my work place for a long time. [He steps up onto a cement surface.] DEMIDOV: You see, I have long been used to create fear. I get answers when needed, and sometimes solve problems when they arise. [He walks through a door.] DEMIDOV: There are some who simply call me "Ubiytsa". [He rounds a corner and another man in a suit immediately steps away as fast as he can.] DEMIDOV: It is a word that means many things, but among them is your English word "Assassin". [He takes his jacket off.] DEMIDOV: It is my calling in life. I cannot even remember what I was before this life. But I know where I'm going next. [He again begins to walk as he loosens his tie.] DEMIDOV: I am coming to this "southernwest wrestling" to do something different. [He removes the tie and begins unbuttoning his shirt.] DEMIDOV: I want to do something that allows me to earn without being hunted. I want to cause fear and pain, but now want to get my skills out of the shadows. [He pulls the shirt off and hands the shirt and tie to a man standing guard at a large, metal door. Kostya then opens the door and walks in. The camera follows and we see that it is a boiler room with the orange-looking lighting comign form the side where the fire is burning. In the middle of the room we see a man ties to a chair. Kostya, now in his suit pants and wife-beater undershirt, walks up to this person.] DEMIDOV: Perhaps a career change will do me some good. But for now, business is calling. SCW, I will see you soon, yes? [Kostya takes a knife in his hand and looks down and we hear a loud scream from the man in the chair as the screen goes black and the following words appear:] C O M I N G S O O N "U B I Y T S A" K O S T Y A D E M I D O V [The screen cuts away.]
[The screen switches to show the broadcast team at the ringside announce table.] CHANEY: Well how about that guy! WATTERS: A literal killer! I love him already! CHANEY: I'm not shocked. WATTERS: Another talent coming to SCW that will debut on the next edition of Rampage! I'm excited about all of this new talent, Chaney, and you should be too! CHANEY: I am! I'm also excited about the next internet pay-per-view coming up is going to be Bloody Sunday! WATTERS: That's right! [The screen shows the following image...]

Introducing first, hailing from parts unknown, standing six-feet and three inches tall and weighing in at two hundred, forty-four pounds. Here is.... G E M I N I! ! ! [Techno music begins to play with no lyrics over it as the curtain opens and Gemini steps out wearing his ring gear. He walks down tot he ring garnering no real reaction from the crowd. As he slides into the ring, he gets up and holds out his arms as the crowd gives him a polite round of applause.] CHANEY: Gemini out here for a match, Larry, and he seems ready for a battle. WATTERS: If it is like most nights, he will do the "pin me, pay me" dance. CHANEY: That is not fair, Larry. WATTERS: What does he normally do Chaney? CHANEY: That isn't the point. WATTERS: That is ENTIRELY the point! [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent, standing six-feet, four inches tall and weighing in at two hundred and seventy-eight pounds. Hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico, here is.... "T H E M I N N E S O T A A S S A S S I N" T E X C O L O R A D O! ! ! [An instrumental easily observed as "Country Boys Can Survive" by Hank Williams Jr begins to play over the PA System as the fans' polite clapping goes to slightly more modified boos. The curtain opens and Tex Colorado steps out from behind them with a bullrope wrapped around his torso. He immediately gets boos for doing the hook'em horns hand gesture, except upside down as he walks down the aisle. He enters the ring and takes the bullrope, with lasso and throws it around the ring post and then tosses it out of the ring.] CHANEY: Tex Colorado id in SCW! WATTERS: It is about time! I think we all wondered when he would show up! CHANEY: Tonight he debuts with some fanfare and he seems a little different. WATTERS: Well he has a bullrope now. Maybe that changes everything for his career! You have to love a guy carrying a bullrope. It's wrestling law. [Right as the bell ring, Tex Colorado, already infuriated, runs and spears Gemini right to the mat and begins to unload on him with a healthy barrage of lefts and rights. The crowd is booing like crazy as Tex Colorado is unloading on Gemini like a rabid dog. Finally, Tex Colorado gets up and picks Gemini up with him. With Gemini in his control, "The Minnesota Assassin" takes him and chokeslams him right to the mat as Tex plays to the crowd.] WATTERS: YES! YES! YES! THIS IS WHY I LOVE THE MINNESOTA ASSASSIN SO MUCH! CHANEY: Never thought I’d hear that statement come out of your mouth. [“The Minnesota Assassin" picks Gemini up, gouges him in the eyes, and spears him once more to the mat. With the crowd booing him like crazy, Tex Colorado breaks focus for a moment to chew as many people out as he can. This, however, is not a smart idea as when Tex Colorado goes to pick Gemini up, Gemini pushes his hands away, jumps up, and slaps him right in the face…] WATTERS: IS GEMINI ON CRA.... CHANEY: No...no he isn't. [If Tex Colorado wasn't infuriated before, he is now as he revs back to unload on Gemini some more but, as he does, Gemini ducks, goes behind Tex Colorado, and drops him with a beautiful German suplex that sends the crowd through the roof. Wasting no time, Gemini picks Tex Colorado back up and drops him right back down to the mat with an impressive arm-breaker style maneuver that Gemini maintains control of.] CHANEY: Smart move by Gemini here as he is dictating the pace of the match. Tex Colorado was wanting to unload right from the get-go but Gemini is slowing things down and getting under Tex Colorado's skin. WATTERS: Gemini must have a death wish for this year. [As Gemini continues to pull hard on the submission hold, Tex Colorado finally reaches the ropes. However, Gemini does not break the hold until the last possible second so the maximum extent of the hold can be reached. Back on his feet, Gemini waits for Tex Colorado to get up and, when he does, he catches his opponent with a kick to the midsection followed up by a DDT and a pin attempt…] CHANEY: Gemini is trying to end things here early…. ONE…..............NOOOOO!!! WATTERS: HA! Gemini couldn't even get past a one count! [The pin did more to infuriate Tex Colorado than anything else and it shows as when Gemini picks Tex Colorado up, "The Minnesota Assassin" lunges at Gemini's throat with a vicious thumb spike that immediately floors his opponent. Tex Colorado quickly breaks the hold as he bounces off the ropes and drops a massive leg drop across the throat of Gemini and goes for the pin….] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHR.............KICKOUT!!! CHANEY: Gemini kicks out at two. WATTERS: Tex pulled him up by his hair. You need to get your eyes checked. [Colorado has him back on his feet just tossed Gemini over the top rope and onto the floor. Tex Colorado cracks an evil looking smile as he picks Gemini up from the floor and drives a massive forearm right into his face. With Gemini stunned, Tex Colorado revs back and spears Gemini straight into the turnbuckle post and puts a mountain of hurt on Gemini’s back.] WATTERS: That looks like it hurt. CHANEY: I am sure Gemini will be feeling that tomorrow. [With Gemini down in agony, Tex Colorado stands by him and points at the crowd to look at him. As the crowd boos Tex Colorado like crazy, he picks Gemini up off his feet but, as he does…] CHANEY: WAIT A MINUTE! Gemini just drove an elbow into Tex Colorado’s midsection and it stopped the monster in his tracks! WATTERS: That was a low blow. CHANEY: It was clearly in his midsection. [Tex Colorado, now stunned, is doubled over long enough for Gemini to grab him and slams his head into the ring apron. Wasting no time, Gemini pushes "The Minnesota Assassin" back in the ring. Now back in the ring, Gemini gets Tex Colorado and puts him in a textbook figure four leg-lock right in the middle of the ring.] CHANEY: And Gemini is doing the smart thing again…slowing the match down and not letting this monster work off of his massive adrenaline. [Locked in the figure four, Tex Colorado begins to scream out in a fit of rage while Gemini uses the hold to heal some of the damage he's suffered during the match. Like the arm-breaker, Tex Colorado reaches the ropes but Gemini does not break the hold until the last possible second. Gemini, now in firm control, picks Tex Colorado up off the mat, drives a forearm into Tex Colorado's face, and catches him in a textbook dropkick. Wasting no time, Gemini covers Tex Colorado for the pin…] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHR.............KICKOUT!!! CHANEY: And Tex Colorado kicks out at two and a half. These two are giving the fans all they have here tonight! [As Tex Colorado kicks out, he stays down on the mat as he is starting to feel the effects of the match. Gemini goes to pick him up but, as he does, Tex Colorado grabs him by the pants and tosses him head first into the turnbuckle corner…changing the control of the match. Now up, and apparently playing possum, Tex Colorado grabs Gemini, punches him right in the face and then delivers a stiff elbow to the side of his head. Gemini looks to be out on his feet as the referee checks on Gemini "The Minnesota Assassin” takes this opportunity to knee him right in the groin. Tex holds up Gemini by his throat and hits a second knee to the groin for good measure. Gemini falls to the mat in agony as Tex just laughs.] CHANEY: Come on that was completely uncalled for. WATTERS: I see nothing wrong with it. ["The Minnesota Assassin” covers Gemini and puts his elbow into the throat area of Gemini as the referee makes the count…] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: TEX COLORADO WITH A VICTORY!!! WATTERS: The man has stepped out of the darkness and gained a great first step here in SCW! CHANEY: Nobody saw this coming and I think that is a fair statement. WATTERS: You can say that again, but let me tell you I'm very happy for this guy. He deserved it. [Colorado raises his arms in victory, with his left hand now clutching that bullrope high into the air.] CHANEY: Tex Colorado celebrating his first victory in a long time. WATTERS: And its because he had the bullrope! CHANEY: It is not! WATTERS: Don't question me! I have spoken! [The screen cuts away.]
[A camera light flickers on. Illuminating a darkened hall. Suddenly, the image shakes as a hand grabs the camera. Turning it to face it’s owner.] ALEX REYN: It’s funny… If the buzzing of insects held absolutely any value to me, I’d almost expect a ‘thank you’ from you creatures. ALEX REYN: Last week, I saved your league from disgrace. If THAT was your marquee bout, then you should all be ashamed. An old man long past the days he should have been taken behind the barn, and a coward who, despite his prodigious talent, still chooses to lower his head to someone as pathetic as El Gringo Loco. You are all VERY fortunate I have chosen to make this place my personal project. ALEX REYN: Tonight. I am going to give you all a lesson in what a TRUE warrior is. Consider this my gift to you. A fighting league worthy of the name once I finish cleaning up the garbage. [Before the feed cuts off, he gives two parting words.] ALEX REYN: You’re welcome. [The screen cuts away.]
[The feed cuts to an undisclosed location, which is, nevertheless, quite clearly a hospital room. As the handheld camera moves through the door and into the division, the patient on the nearest bed becomes recognisable – if nothing else, because of his bulk. A moment later, the figure standing at his bedside – a wiry masked youth – also becomes discernible as none other than the man known as Brutalizer, one half of the team known as the Trailer Park Assassinz. No sooner does he see the camera approaching than he begins pointing at Boss Hogg, his tone equal parts defiant and choked up with commotion.] BRUTALIZER: He's alive! How d'y'all like that, mother(BLEEP)ers?! He's alive! He ain't dead! Y'all couldn't kill him! Hell, y'all ain't even manage to put 'im down for good! He healin' up real well. An' when he done healed up all the way...he fixin' to kick y'all's asses for what y'all done to him! 'Til then, tho', I guess it's up to us to do it...' [At this point, the youngster finally takes a breath – but only so he can launch into the next part of his tirade.] BRUTALIZER: An' lemme tell y'all somethin'...Y'all tryna come at the Boss? Y'all tryna come at me an' my bro?! Well, you done goofed, motherBLEEPers! Ain't nothin' make me mad faster'n somebody tryna come at my bro, or my friends. An' you gone an' done both! So now, you got it comin'. Next time me'n'Destruktor see y'all, we gon' give y'all a good ol'-fashioned ass-whuppin', Trailer Park style! An' when we done, we gon' let Boss come in an' finish y'all's asses, too. 'Cause that's how we roll down in the Bluff! [With that, the Assassin steps forward, nearly upsetting the camera as he brushes past the camera-person, muttering.] BRUTALIZER: I'm done. Kill it. [A few seconds later, after a brief smirk towards the camera from Boss Hogg, the video is brought to an end, and the feed cuts elsewhere...]
[The smooth, mellow saxophone of “Baker Street” by Gerry Rafferty plays. The crowd cheers when the NEW SCW Lonestar Tag Team Champions step through the curtain with the tag belts around their waists. The excitement level of Davey-Boy O’Brien is understandably through the roof in comparison to Keegan’s as he calmly walks beside his partner, tagging hands to his side. Both men enter the ring before Keegan grabs a microphone which he hands off to Davey-Boy, allowing him to take the first opportunity to speak.] CHANEY: And here are your NEW Lonestar Tag Team Champions! This is our first look at them since they won the titles at Showdown. WATTERS: And how controversial it was, Chaney. CHANEY: How do you mean, Crusher? WATTERS: Davey-Boy used those gold knucks to win. He blatantly used a foreign object. That’s cheating, Chaney! CHANEY: Don’t forget where he got those gold knucks. It was EGL who gave them to him. WATTERS: Allegedly. Besides, that makes it even worse, using a gift someone gave you against them. DAVEY-BOY O’BRIEN: Well, ain’t this just excitin’? [That simple line accompanied by a pat of his respective Lonestar Tag Team title is enough to send the crowd in attendance into a frenzy cheering for the new champions. Davey-Boy turns and grins at Keegan at the easy pop from the crowd. When the audience calms once more, Davey turns back toward the hard camera and continues: ] DAVEY-BOY O’BRIEN: Muh nut ‘as been in a birl ever since auld Keegan an’ Ah won these titles. ‘Tis safe to say Las Preguntas got exactly what they deserved at Showdown. Muh Ma would so proud! Ah quite literally made them Kiss Muh Gauld! KEEGAN: Aye, well as long as there’s no mucking about next time and we do everything by the book. Mind you, it’s about time Duda and Marca got a receipt for what they usually get up to. So, whenever you fancy another ding-dong, just gi me and Davey a call and we’ll be happy to give you another… DAVEY-BOY O’BRIEN: Square go. [Just as Davey-Boy is about to say more, “Como, Cuando, y Porque” by Lorenzo Antonio plays. The crowd sours when El Gringo Loco and Las Preguntas step onto the stage. EGL is wearing the SCW Lonestar Heavyweight Title Belt - now held by Pat Gordon, Jr. - around his middle. El Gringo Loco is carrying a mic. He claps his hands softly.] EGL: Felicidades, amigos! It was a tremendous accomplishment for you two to win los titulos away from Las Preguntas. I have to admit, you surprised even me, pero... I couldn’t help but notice that you used a... hmmm... somewhat questionable method to win them. [Davey-Boy cuts El Gringo Loco off.] DAVEY-BOY O’BRIEN: Ah think the lot o’ ye got it all twisted, that was a Texas Tornado Grudge Match which means anythin’ an’ everythin’ that ‘appened between the bells in that match was completely legal. EGL: No, no, no me malinterpretes. Estoy impresionado! I’m impressed. It’s just that I find it... ironic. You see, you act like you are above joining the Cartel, pero... You are not above using similar tactics. You are not so different from us, Davey-Boy. In fact, tenemos mucho en comun. And you know, had you taken us up on our offer, well, tu madre could be living, how you say, the easy life. [As El Gringo Loco speaks, the camera cuts over back to Davey-Boy just long enough for us to see him shaking his head, denying the Cartel leader’s claims.] EGL: But that’s not why I’ve decided to bless you tonight con mi presencia gloriosa. I believe one of you mentioned a rematch? KEEGAN: You old goat, you’re having a laugh, aren’t you? Do you actually believe we’d just give you another crack at conning your way into holding these championships again? EGL: Nosotros somos los antiguos campeones! Merecemos una revancha, y lo tendremos. Lo tendremos! [To Las Preguntas.] Vamos. [With that, the infuriated Mexican Multimedia Megastar leads Las Preguntas in storming off to the locker room area.]
[The screen returns to the ringside announcers.] WATTERS: The rightful champs are coming back for their titles it seems! CHANEY: It is nice to know Gringo Loco can continue with business even with the champion not here. WATTERS: The Cartel is always going about its business, even when somebody plays a malicious prank on the champion and keeps him from appearing! CHANEY: Davey-boy and Keegan better watch their backs! That is all I can say. WATTERS: I doubt they come out on top in a rematch. Enjoy your moment kids! CHANEY: Speaking of moments, we had some issues between the Rich Family and Health Fanatics earlier and now they square off in the ring. WATTERS: These two teams know each other well, and Matthews and Somner are the real deal. CHANEY: The Riches also have the advantage of never telling anyone who will be in the ring until that very moment. WATTERS: It is an unfair advantage to me, but the Fanatics can overcome that issue. I'm certain of it. CHANEY: Let's find out and head to the ring! Take it away, Buff!

Introducing first, the team of "˜The Engine" Damon Somner and "The Powerhouse" Greg Matthews T H E H E A L T H F A N A T I C S ! ! ! [Call on Me plays loudly, blue strobes beating in perfect harmony to the tune. In matching red frat-like jackets from Washington State University, Damon Somner performs several star jumps while Greg Matthews completes the Farmer's Walk, carrying two black cast-iron kettlebells, weighing 20 kilos each.] [Damon arrives at ringside, rattling off another rapid trio of star jumps before taking a run and a jump onto the apron. The more methodical Matthews takes a wee while to join him, electing to take to the stairs.] [Now inside, together again, Matthews shows off his muscles as Somner stoops in front, setting off a flurry of fireworks in the process.] CHANEY: These two continue to be show offs when it comes to their bodies. WATTERS: If you got it, flaunt it, Chaney. These two definitely got it! CHANEY: No doubt the "it" factor that everybody dreams of having in pro wrestling. WATTERS: No, I'm meaning they literally have what they claim to have: superior health and wellness. We shoudl be paying attention when they are out here and learn something. [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And their opponents, from Dallas, Texas, here are Freddie and Todd Rich... T H E R I C H F A M I L Y ! ! ! ["God Blessed Texas" by Little Texas begisn to play and the crowd literally goes ballistic for their hometown heroes. Freddie and Todd walk out and pause, motioning for the rest of the family to stay in the back. Then they walk down the aisle, perhaps a tad too close to the crowd as young ladies begin grabbing at them. They reach the ring and hold their arms out wide to welcome the cheers of the crowd.] CHANEY: Earlier, while our colleague Steve Blaine was interviewing The Rich Family, Health Fanatics gatecrashed the party and made a challenge: If The Rich Family don’t win tonight, they can never compete for the Lonestar Tag Team titles ever again. WATTERS: Not that big a deal really because they could live until they’re a hundred and they’ll never win it anyway, BUT it would shatter these morons, who still believe in heroes and fairies, and Health Fanatics are fitter, stronger and have better teamwork. CHANEY: Than family? WATTERS: They rotate too much, Chaney. It’s always Somner and Matthews, Matthews and Somner. With The Riches, they take turns to give everyone a chance. What I will say is that they've done the right thing by choosing Freddie and Todd, and that in itself, shows you not only how important this match is, but how much of a threat to The Rich Family Health Fanatics are. They’ve got the A-Team out there and they’ll have to bring their A-game just to stay in title contention. CHANEY: There’s a hush, the calm before the storm if you will, as our capacity crowd, on its feet throughout that entrance, finally sits down. Freddie ‘The First’ Rich wants to be the first to start and he wants Somner. WATTERS: He thinks he does. Mind you, he’ll want Greg Matthews even LESS. [Freddie waves his right hand, requesting Somner to come in and start. The volume rises as Damon waves Greg Matthews off and comes forward to accept Freddie’s offer and the bell sounds to indicate this one is underway. Just as Somner steps forward for the collar-and-elbow, he slowly turns away, smug smile enveloping on his face, and holds his hand out for the much larger and more powerful Matthews to tag in.] CHANEY: What cowardice. WATTERS: Brilliance, you mean. He was living in Freddie’s head rent-free earlier and now he’s just bought the place. The stipulation of this match doesn’t help The Rich Family’s psyche either. That, and the pressure of this crowd? That’s a lot to carry on your shoulders, and these guys aren’t Greg Matthews, that’s for sure, which we’ll see pretty quickly. [Matthews beckons for a tie-up, confident he’ll win, but Freddie goes behind and applies a waistlock. Alas, he can’t lift Greg up for the desired suplex. Instead, Greg frees the fingers effortlessly and stands in front of Freddie, almost face-to-face, raising his massive right arm to presumably showcase his strength.] WATTERS: That didn’t take long, did it? Greg asserts his strength and the mistake? Freddie thought he was still in with Somner. For Matthews, you’ve got to use your brains and Somner, your strength. [Freddie comes off the ropes and his shoulder block fails to move Matthews a millimeter. Freddie goes left, slides through Greg’s legs and pulls off a roll-up for one and only one.] CHANEY: I think he’s using his brains more, but… WATTERS: Barely. [Rich applies a side headlock, but Matthews pushes him off. When GM drops down, Freddie drops and elbow and then applies a camel clutch.] WATTERS: Now, he’s starting. CHANEY: Good work that time. [Predictably, Matthews is back to his wide vertical base, but Freddie cuts off Greg’s headway with a seated senton to the spine and subsequent clubbing blows, five in total.] CHANEY: Freddie has started adopting Crusher’s advice. WATTERS: As anyone should. A long way to go though. [Rich lines Matthews up with an Irish whip, but his stronger rival easily reverses it. However, when he lowers the head, Rich leapfrogs over. Matthews is waiting to meet Rich in the middle and uses his power to turn the tide with a terrific snap powerslam.] WATTERS: Great counter by Greg, but he should have made the cover there. CHANEY: Instead, Greg picks Freddie up and drops him into the Health Fanatics' corner with a snake eyes. Tag to Damon. WATTERS: Here’s The Engine. [Damon tickles Rich’s ribs with a couple of right hands to the ribcage and an arm wringer takes Freddie’s mind off those aforementioned midsection blows. The Irish whip is reversed by Freddie, but Rich is a step off the pace and misses with his charge, careering into the ring post, hurting his shoulder in the process.] CHANEY: The wrong part of the body to hurt when you’re in there with this guy. WATTERS: Damon drew him into that. CHANEY: Shoulder breaker by Somner, who covers Freddie, and that’s only a one count. WATTERS; Doesn’t matter. CHANEY: It definitely hasn’t deterred Damon, whose repeated kicks are finding the target of Freddie Rich’s right shoulder with alarming accuracy. WATTERS: And, they’ve taken the crowd out of it too. The famous Texas atmosphere is non-existent right now, down to Damon. [An arm wringer is followed up by a shoulder charge - once, twice, thrice and an arm wringer that almost takes the shoulder out of the socket.] CHANEY: What viciousness and intensity demonstrated by Damon. [An arm bar is applied, but roared on by his home crowd, Freddie finds his feet, only for Damon to tug at the long locks and take him down from a position that the official cannot see.] CHANEY: Old school tactics, the crowd not happy with Damon at all and they’re letting him and the official know. WATTERS: You can’t call what you can’t see. CHANEY: Leg drop to the shoulder, followed up by a seated senton and another count, one...and not even two. WATTERS: Bigger picture, Chaney. CHANEY: Another cover and not even one. Hammerlock slam, nicely done by Damon Somner. WATTERS: Damon is going up to the second rope and I think this is a mistake. CHANEY: Crusher is right! Somner misses with a fist drop, and this crowd is eager for its hometown hero, Freddie Rich, to capitalize on the opening. [Rich, holding his shoulder, gets up and throws three bombs, the fans make even more noise for each passing one before their guy bounces off the ropes, only for a dropkick by Damon, right on the shoulder, to take the wind out of everyone’s shoulders.] WATTERS: Damon makes up for that mistake and again, shuts the Texans up, which is an added bonus and hopefully, we’ll get rid of The Rich Family for good. [Somner crawls over and tags Matthews in. Greg rushes straight over.] CHANEY: Belly-to-belly! WATTERS: Matthews wasn’t messing around. CHANEY: Finally, a 2 count for Health Fanatics, who’ve isolated Freddie fantastically well. WATTERS: Tag Team one oh one. CHANEY: An Irish whip by Matthews, no hope for Freddie to reverse that, and wow! A pop-up powerslam. WATTERS: Phenomenal power from The Powerhouse. CHANEY: One...two...Todd’s there with a kick to cut off the count. He’s taking no chances. [Matthews argues with the ref and Todd while Damon comes in and pulls off a single arm DDT and then heads back to his kennel.] CHANEY: I suppose you agree with that, Crusher? WATTERS: Did Todd come in first? CHANEY: Well… WATTERS: Did Todd come in first? Tell the truth, Chaney. CHANEY: Yes. WATTERS: That wasn’t so hard. [Greg picks Freddie up, but Matthews eats a couple of defiant shots by Freddie, who then gains some headway and lets his right hand go with another brace of blows, making it four in total. Buoyed by the crowd and his own handiwork, Freddie is about to stand up properly… CHANEY: Deadlift German suplex by Greg Matthews, whose power is scary. WATTERS: Unreal. The Rich Family’s future hangs in his biceps. ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHHHHHRRRRR...................KICKOUT!!!! CHANEY: Full nelson...no, sir. Freddie slips out. Greg goes for a clothesline, but Rich crucially avoids contact and beats Matthews for speed with a kick to the shin...DDT! WATTERS: Oh, no. CHANEY: Why are you covering your ears, Crusher? [The referee counts as both men are down on the deck and the noise increases, the natives backing Freddie, who hasn’t been able to make a tag at all.] CHANEY: Larry? [The referee’s count is up to 5. Damon is screaming at Greg, who is dazed, and has given Freddie a head start ‘home.’ Matthews opts to tag Damon, who curses under his breath, and sets about stopping Freddie from tagging in Todd…] CHANEY: Freddie is close...YES! Clothesline by Todd to start with, full of fire and support from this partisan crowd. A flurry of punches, Irish whip and a high knee. WATTERS: Todd needs to watch he doesn’t punch himself out here. There’s a lot riding on this. CHANEY: Slingshot belly-to-back suplex. Greg Matthews pushes past the referee and Todd launches himself at Greg, who catches Todd. WATTERS: Fallaway slam coming up. Trust Greg to even the score. CHANEY: Freddie is back and dropkicks Todd, converting that fallaway slam attempt into a crossbody block. Todd follows up with punches. [Todd then shows impressive strength sending Matthews up and over the top rope.] WATTERS: Look out… CHANEY: Damon scores with a springboard clothesline to wrestle control back for the Fanatics. A couple of punches conserve their advantage and Somner is looking to clothesline Todd up...backbody drop instead and much to the fans’ amusement, Somner lands on Matthews for a double whammy!! WATTERS: Shut up, Chaney. [Freddie comes out to roll Damon onto the apron for Todd, who is gratefully waiting, while Freddie then mounts Matthews to keep the big guy down with some hard shots.] CHANEY: Suplex back in by Todd and he’s not done there. WATTERS: What’s he got in mind? CHANEY: Blue thunder bomb! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHHHHHRRRRR.............nearest fall yet! [On the outside, Matthews nails Freddie with a STIFF lariat. Meanwhile, Todd scoops Damon up. Somner squeezes in a roll up attempt, but Todd bumps him back into Matthews and the rolls Somner up for a pinfall attempt of his own - 1...2 ...only 2. Freddie and Greg trade punches…] CHANEY: Todd sacrifices himself with a suicide dive! [Freddie nominates himself back in via tapping Todd on the shoulder. Speaking of shoulders, Freddie’s predictable double axe is denied by a dropkick to his right one, which has had some stick throughout the bout.] CHANEY: Somner’s shoulder breaker is thwarted as Freddie slips out at the last minute...FREDDIE’S NIGHTMARE! The sick kick has lit this crowd up and now he’s going for his patented cradle piledriver...RAGS TO RICHES! Gets it! WATTERS: Greg’s here… CHANEY: Another Freddie’s Nightmare, so not for long!!! [Freddie covers Damon as the crowd counts along:] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHHHHHRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: A great win for The Rich Family, who the crowd are showing their appreciation for and they live to fight another day, per the speculation. They were willing to risk it all, including walking away altogether, but they are still in the title hunt for Lonestar gold, which is currently all tied up in The Cartel. WATTERS: They did well to come back. Health Fanatics were excellent for eighty percent of the match, but lacked something - cutting edge, maturity, and The Rich Family rode a storm, helped by these annoying Texans, and like you said, they had a lot riding on tonight and perhaps that showed. CHANEY: Freddie Rich was resilient; Todd made sure his contribution counted and like you said, Larry, Health Fanatics were well onto their victory and if this were boxing or MMA… WATTERS: But, it’s not. It’s the sport of kings and to be a king in this sport, you can’t coast to points decisions. When you’ve got someone on the ropes in THAT ring, you have to finish them off and Health Fanatics didn’t. To their credit, The Rich Family did and that’s the difference. [The screen cuts away.]
[The following video plays..] [Sitting in a rocking chair with an electric blanket drowning his slender frame, the mysterious cheerleader on commentary at Showdown between Kid Chameleon and ‘Big Kid’ Chris Smith appears pensive before standing up. He receives a set of placards and tells someone to put the CD player on. Once it’s up and running, ‘Silent Night’ airs.] THE MARK: Kid Chameleon’s career was dead, to begin with. There is no doubt whatever about that. [Our narrator holds up the first placard with Kid Chameleon face down on the bonnet of a car, following the vicious attack. The Mark then throws it on the floor] THE MARK: It wasn’t his business. As solitary as an oyster, ‘Big Kid’ Chris Smith led an unprovoked attack on Kid Chameleon in spite of his claims. [We see Chris Smith speak on a microphone, grinning ear to ear, seemingly happy with the act he had perpetrated.] THE MARK: The windscreen, hard and sharp as Flint, Michigan, pierced through Kid Chameleon’s skin, forcing him out of wrestling for approximately FIVE months. [A picture of Kid Chameleon in his hospital bed.] THE MARK: He provided three reasons for the heinous attack, all manufactured excuses to hide a bloodthirsty and vile motive beneath that child-like and flabby exterior. [This displays three fingers.] THE MARK: A quench for violence. The kids were NOT alright and never would be. What Chris Smith didn’t count on was the spirit, determination or resilience of his first target. [A shot of Smith having his arm raised in the air while Chameleon is aided by doctors in his recovery bid.] THE MARK: Then, when Kid wasn’t ready, he turned his attention to yours truly. That splash had me urinating blood for a week. [The Mark himself, grimacing in agony, as a result of being squashed by Smith.] THE MARK: In Kid’s absence, Smith tore through various victims, throwing his weight around, both figuratively and literally. [Smith pins an unnamed man as the referee completes the fall.] THE MARK: Until a masked man hailing from Mexico, called El Fuerte, showed up. Initially picked as another overmatched opponent, Fuerte stunned Smith towards the end of the bout with a Mega Drive. [El Fuerte has BKCS in a Michinoku Driver position.] THE MARK: Kid Chameleon was back in town. [The unmasking of El Fuerte as Kid Chameleon.] THE MARK: One bitten...twice stupid. Chris Smith fell for the same trick in SCW when he failed to realize The Informer, half a foot taller than Chameleon, wasn’t who he seemed. [Kid Chameleon punching Smith after revealing he wasn’t The Informer, here in SCW. The placard is discarded and onto the next.] THE MARK: But, to tell a story well, you need to share at least two sides. In their original one-on-one meeting, a familiar story unfolded. Smith targeted the back and his Christmas turkeys came to roast, for Kid Chameleon could not capitalize upon hitting the Mega Drive. In the end, Smith survived the scare and hit School’s Out to beat Kid Chameleon, and history repeated itself at Showdown I, well almost. [This slide shows Kid Chameleon again Mega Driving Chris Smith, spiking the 390-pound man child's head into the canvas.] THE MARK: The Law, Brady and Strauss, were Smith’s get-out-of-jail card, pun absolutely intended, and bailed their boy out. Who am I kidding? The mercenaries! [Strauss cuffs Kid Chameleon, leading him away.] THE MARK: That is the brief story of Kid Chameleon and Chris Smith’s past and present, but what does the future hold? [The final slide has a question mark, no, not that dope from NWA Powerr, an actual one. It seems this Christmas Carol is to be continued.]
[The camera fades backstage and you see Caleb Foley sitting on the locker room bench with his head down. A look of disappointment on his face as he stares at the ground. ] FOLEY: Fraud ... Cheater ... Coward ... Liar ... [A brief pause.] FOLEY: All of these words are what I have heard since the Lonestar Heavyweight Championship has been crowned. I know Pat Gordon Junior thinks he has outsmarted the world and how he is on top of the pedestal but PGJ you now are a wanted man. You are no longer the hunter you are the hunted and when the time is right I will get my hands around you and your friend “Santa” ... [Caleb looks up at the camera and his smile is nowhere to be found.] FOLEY: Empty ... that is what I am feeling right now. I made a promise and once again I fell short of delivering. People want to know why I attacked Alfie Button after the ladder match. Heat of the moment I let my temper get the better of me. I am truly sorry Alfie. I made a mistake and I hope you can forgive me. [Foley stands up and begins to pace around like a caged animal. ] FOLEY: Tonight I team with a man who probably wants nothing to do with me. Johnny has his eyes still set on SAGAWA and until they finish their gruesome battle. No one else matters to either of these men. They are both talented competitors and want to prove to each other that the other man is more chaotic. So this tag match is more like two singles matches. SAGAWA versus Psychotic and Button versus Foley. You won’t see any teamwork or hot tags. This is going to be four men inside the ring all proving something whether it be to themselves or someone else. This match will set the tone for 2020. [Foley stops pacing and looks square in the camera.] FOLEY: By the end of this year I will be your SCW Lonestar Heavyweight Champion. I will be the top dog in SCW. I will be the guy everyone wants to be. Alfie I will prove to you that I am still the standup guy when we first wrestled. PGJ I will prove to you that you are a FRAUD and cheated to make history. I have a feeling I know who was under that Santa suit and when I have enough proof I will reveal it to the entire world. SAGAWA, Psychotic and Button it is time to bring the house down and set the bar where only a few brave will go. The question is just how far will you go to make your dreams become a reality. [Camera fades out.]
[We cut backstage again where "The Legend" Sean Darring is standing by. He is dressed for battle wearing his traditional red singlet with gold "Legend" lettering. He stands stoic and serious as he looks straight at the camera.] LSD: In 2019, I returned to the ring. It wasn't the smoothest ride, but I proved this ol' dog wasn't dead yet. I proved I still belonged and could compete at a high level. I battled the best SCW had. I beat them all. I was "this" close to becoming the SCW champion. What a story it would have been. The ol' Legend returning to the business. Fighting through the group of death. Defeating the Chosen One, Pat Gordon Jr for a second time to become the first SCW Champion. It was almost a movie ending. Almost. [The Legend pauses.] LSD: Reyn, it's all fun and games until you step in the ring with me. You handpicked me and you made your grand entrance at my expense. I understand why. This business can be a cruel business. One night it gives... The next night it takes away. While I can accept it. I can't let it go unanswered. [The Legend shakes his head.] LSD: You see where I came from when sneak attacked a man and made your statement. You knew the next night you were going to have to stand toe to toe and back it up. You have a knack at disappearing when things get a little messy. I get it, the SCW can be a scary world. There are some tough wrestlers in this locker room. However, you took something from me that I am not going to get back. You took a storybook ending and changed a chapter in my legacy forever. I have a short memory in this business. You have to. However, at Showdown your actions can't be forgotten. They won't be forgiven. [The Legend is 100% serious tonight. No smiles ...] LSD: It's time to pay the piper. It's time to walk down that aisle and stand face to face with me. No games. No sneak attacks. Just you and I. You wanted my attention? You wanted to make a grand entrance? Well, here it is. Thus far it's been nothing but hype. Let's see just how good you are. [No flashy punch lines. No famous smirks. The Legend gives one final glare then we cut back to the ring.]
[We return to the ringside announce table where our broadcast team is ready to go.] CHANEY: Sean Darring right there! No frills. Nothing glamorized. WATTERS: And about to get retired! CHANEY: Stop that, Larry! WATTERS: I love the guy and have watched him for YEARS! I remember when he was the best in the world. CHANEY: And he doesn't rank there now? [Larry begins counting with his fingers.] WATTERS: He is older. He plays to the crowd too much. He's in a place where he isn't thinking it through. And worst of all, Reyn has retired men before! CHANEY: Larry's comments aside... WATTERS: (interrupting)...EXPERT comments, Chaney. I've been in that ring and know a thing or two! CHANEY: Ladies and Gentlemen, we now get to see another veteran in action as the Son of Malta continues his mentoring of Gordon Gaines as they will team up to face Greco-Roman. WATTERS: I'm still not sure why this got scheduled. Alejandro and Roman seemed to have a falling out at Showdown. CHANEY: Well it is on the docket, so let's go to the ring and see what we see!

Introducing first, One man hailing from Eden Prairie, Minnesota and weighing in at two hundred-forty-one pounds. His partner hailing from Malta and weighing in at two hundred forty-two pounds. Here are... "G O O D" G O R D O N G A I N E S A N D T H E S O N O F M A L T A! ! ! [The Maltese anthem plays as the two men step out from behind the curtain to a solid pop. The Son of Malta makes his way out wearing his usual black trenchcoat with a huge white Maltese Cross on the back, while Gaines is wearing his blue wrestling tights and a black suit jacket as he walks down to the ring looking focused as ever. The two enter the ring and raise their arm to the crowd before staring down their opponents.] CHANEY: These two looked impressive together at Showdown and many think that they could be difficult for many tag teams to handle. WATTERS: Well there are inherent problems with planning for men like this, but this is the deepest tag division in wrestling. It's an uphill battle for anybody coming in. CHANEY: That is true, but the way Gaines has been turned around by the Son of Malta, anything seems possible. WATTERS: Perhaps. This is still Gaines we're talking about. He has a way to go yet. [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And their opponents, at a combined weight of four hundred, thirty-five pounds! The team of Alejandro Greco and Roman Kapowski.... G R E C O - R O M A N! ! ! [The entrancemusic for Greco-Roman begisn to play and the crowd gives the obligatory negative response as Alejandro Greco walks out and raises his arms. After a moment, he looks back and Roman Kapowski enters though the curtain in his street clothes. Kapowski walks past Greco and just walks down the aisle as the two have obviously still not made up after Showdown. Greco enters the ring, but Kapowski walks over next to the announce crew.] CHANEY: Why isn't Roman Kapowski out here ready to wrestle? WATTERS: Ask him! [The view changes and shows the announce crew and Roman in the same view.] CHANEY: Roman! Roman, why aren't you in there? [He just shakes his head in a negtive way.] WATTERS: Are you just leaving him hanging for some reason? [Roman crosses his arms.] KAPOWSKI: He's on his own. CHANEY: Then why are you out here if he is on his own? KAPOWSKI: Contract says I must be here this night. No more talking. [He walks away as the view returns to the ring.] WATTERS: That is a shock! CHANEY: Looks like it will be Alejandro Greco against both Son fo Malta and Gordon Gaines! WATTERS: I don't understand this at all. I know teams have issues and what not, but to willfully leave your partner hanging like this. [DING! DING!! DING!!!] CHANEY: I'm not sure what to think here, Larry, but it seems like we are seeing the death of a tag team right here in front of us. WATTERS: I'm holding out hope that this is a strategy to take their opponents off their game. CHANEY: Doesn't look that way, Crusher. WATTERS: No, Chaney, it doesn't. [Gordon Gaines stands in the ring as Son of Malta nods to him. Gaines looks over and sees Alejandro Greco standing there with no partner on the ring apron. Gaines moves in and locks up with Greco, losing the tie-up and ending up in a side headlock.] CHANEY: Gaines with a side headlock and he has learned this hold well. WATTERS: It helps when your opponent isn't in his right state because of his partner. CHANEY: I'm sure it does, but don't take away from Gordon's growth here. WATTERS: This has become a handicap match and that means Greco is being fed to the wolves right now. It is disgusting to me. [Gaines controls the side headlock well. Greco attempts to shove Gordon off, but the protege holds on strong and eventually uses the hold to flip Greco over with a hip toss to the canvas. Gaines keeps the side headlock in control, but is pushing Greco into the mat with it now as Kapowski stands in the ringside area looking on.] CHANEY: Gaines not allowing that headlock to be broken and now he has it pushed to the canvas! WATTERS: He is definitely in control, and that isn't something we would have said about him months ago. CHANEY: I cannot believe after all the years of being partners that Roman would just stand there and watch this! WATTERS: It is something we should have saw coming as it looked like they were strained at Showdown. [Gaines nearly forces a pin attempt with the headlock, but ends up allowing Greco the chance to grab the bottom rope. The referee forces the break and Gaines gets to his feet quickly.] CHANEY: There's the break and Gaines obeys the referee immediately. WATTERS: That is one thing he needs to grow out of, in my opinion. CHANEY: I know what you will say, Larry. That he ought to "take advantage of every second he has to cause trouble for the opponent?" WATTERS: It is a sound way of thinking and it served me well for decades in that ring, Chaney. [Gaines rushes in and eats an elbow to the face for his trouble. Greco goes for a crane kick, but Gordon ducks under it and leaps to Thesz Press Greco tot he mat and begins to hammer away at his head with furious punches.] CHANEY: GAINES WITH A CLASSIC TAKEDOWN AND FURIOUS PUNCHES!!! WATTERS: Just when you thought Greco might find a way! CHANEY: Gordon Gaines is taking the fight back at him and no end seems to be in sight! WATTERS: If he had a partner up there.....goodness that is such a crying shame! [Gaines is up and tags Son of Malta into the match. Gordon holds up the left arm and Malta plants a boot into the ribs with expert precision. The Son of Malta then grabs that left arm and spins it into a hammer lock, causing a yelp to escape Greco's mouth.] CHANEY: Son of Malta into the match and gets the boot to the ribs and now a hammer lock! The man is a machine! WATTERS: A machine tearing away at a hapless victim! Where is the honor in this? CHANEY: I don't know, perhaps you can ask Roman Kapowski! WATTERS: I'd rather not. I'm too disappointed in him right now. I really thought better of him than to do something like this. [Malta lifts Greco up and lands a hammerlock suplex. The Maltese Beast stands up and looks at Kapowski, almost asking if he intends to come in and fight. Roman gives a polite nod and holds a hand out open toward Malta and says, "This is all him."] CHANEY: Even the Son of Malta is shocked at this behavior! WATTERS: I've been around the block a time or two, Chaney, but I Have never seen such disrespect between partners as what we are seeing here. CHANEY: And Gaines and Malta are reaping all the benefits. WATTERS: You can only do what you can do and when you get an opening like this, you take advantage. [Malta pulls Greco up and whips him into the corner, where he hits with a loud thud. Malta follows in with a leaping avalanche into the turnbuckles and crushes Greco against them. Alejandro drops to a knee, allowing Malta to grab hold of that side headlock.] CHANEY: SATAN OF SIDE HEADLOCKS!!! WATTERS: Now it's just getting ugly! CHANEY: Son of Malta has Greco at his mercy now. You can see the fight draining out of him second by second! WATTERS: This side headlock after the crushing corner attack. Yeah, Alejandro is in serious trouble and Roman ought to feel ashamed about it! [Malta pulls Greco over to their corner and tags Gaines back into the match. Malta sets up for a power bomb lift and then yanks Greco into the air, dropping him with a jack-knife power bomb just before a rushing Gaines hits a leg drop right over the neck.] CHANEY: POWERBOMB BY MALTA AND LEG DROP BY GAINES!!! WATTERS: He's done! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHRRRRRR....................KICKOUT!!! CHANEY: GRECO ESCAPS AT THE LAST SECOND!!! WATTERS: No thanks to his ungrateful, popcorn eating partner. CHANEY: Tell us how you really feel, Larry. WATTERS: He's a no-good, back-stabbing, Son of a bitch! [Gaines gets to his feet and he looks down at Kapowski, who now is taking a piece of popcorn out of a fan's bucket as he watches. Gordon shakes his head and pulls Greco to his feet. He looks to Malta who gives him the nod and Gaines plants Greco with a front-faced spinning ddt.] CHANEY: THE CLEAN UP!!! HE USED HIS OWN FINISHER!!! WATTERS: Good God! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: GORDON GAINES AND THE SON OF MALTA WIN AGAIN!!! WATTERS: This wasn't a tag match though. So I refuse to look at them as a stronger team. CHANEY: They stand tall here, Larry, and that is what counts! WATTERS: Whatever. [Gaines and Malta stand in the ring with their arm raised as Kapowski walks over near Greco and just shakes his head and says something we can't hear to him before walking away up the ramp.] CHANEY: You just have to wonder what happened here between these two. WATTERS: Years of teamwork down the drain and I hope Roman is happy with himself because he is ruining both of their careers by acting like this. CHANEY: Maybe he will enlighten us at some point. WATTERS: Maybe he will get hit by a bus. [The screen cuts away.]
[The feed cuts backstage, where the intrepid reporter known simply as The Informer is already standing by, microphone in hand and guests by his side. At – presumably – a sign from his camera-person, he brings the microphone to his lips and begins.] INFORMER: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guests at this time...Lexi Darlington and Agents Washington and Lincoln, the Border Control. [With this, he turns towards his guests, taking no more than a moment to exchange grins with them before starting the interview proper.] INFORMER: Gentlemen...Ms Darlington...the SCW-verse wants to know...what are your comments on the horrific hit-and-run accident Boss Hogg was involved in two weeks ago? [The reporter does not even have time to finish his statement before Washington steps forward, flexing menacingly, as Lincoln quickly states.] LINCOLN: ...no comment! [Lexi Darlington, however, seems more agreeable to offering a response, flashing The Informer a smile as she places an arm over either man's chest to stay them.] LEXI DARLINGTON: Now, boys...let's not be rude. Mr Informer is just doing his job. [Then, approaching the reporter's outstretched microphone.] LEXI DARLINGTON: Besides, this is our opportunity to address those poor men directly...and tell them that our thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time...and that we are sure local authorities will do their utmost to get to the bottom of this horrific hate crime, and apprehend the real culprits. [At this, as if on cue, Informer jumps in again.] INFORMER: So you are disavowing responsibility? [THIS time, Lexi has no qualms in scorching the interviewer with her most withering look, all but spitting as she repeats Lincoln's statement from earlier, albeit with twice the venom.] LEXI DARLINGTON: NO. COMMENT. [With this, and before Informer can so much as offer a wrapping statement, all three Border Control members exit stage right, their demeanors still indignant. The hapless reporter is, therefore, left to hastily wrap up the segment, as he no doubt wonders where and how everything went wrong...]
[The screen switches backstage where Tess Wiley stands with Kid Chameleon.] TESS WILEY: Kid Chameleon, you lost to Chris Smith at Showdown, by countout, when The Law showed up and controversially arrested you. What did you think of the match and how did it affect you? KID CHAMELEON: Don’t waste your time looking back, you’re not going that way. WILEY: And what did you say to The Law when they arrested you? CHAMELEON: Hello there, officer. Nice badge, nice badge. WILEY: You are yet to defeat ‘Big Kid’ Chris Smith. What does this latest loss do for your confidence? CHAMELEON: One small crack does not mean that you are broken, it means you were put to the test and you didn’t fall apart. [The screen cuts away.]
[We cut backstage where we the masked heroes, Masked Maniac and his larger sidekick, Masked Wingman. Maniac is sitting on the bench head in hands distraught as his partner stands next to him patting on the shoulder with comfort.] MM: I ... I ... can't believe I fell for their evil plans. I am usually more aware than this. I can usually see things coming a mile away, my masked bro. [... Even Masked Wingman tilts his head as to question what his mentor is saying. Oblivious, Masked Maniac continues ...] MM: Even with the odds stacked against us we fought valiantly. You overcame your fears! We defended masked towel-bro's honor in an epic swash buckle. [Maniac lifts his head with some pride reliving some of the epic moments of the PPV match.] MM: In the end, I had a tough decision to make. However, our code ... our way of life came before the win. Masked bros before hoes always my, ami-bro! [The Masked Wingman nods agreeing with his partner.] MM: We will have the last laugh. [The Masked Maniac leaps to his feet with the usual beaming mojo that only a Mask bro can have.] MM: Sweaty Bling hasn't heard the last of us! [Masked Maniac's chest is out and his arm is pumping as he pumps himself up.] MM: Tonight, we make a statement and we send those snakes a message. They haven't heard the last of us. Let's go! [Masked Maniac storms out ready to do battle leaving his pupil standing a little confused. He tilts his head and looks towards the camera. And for the first time, we heard the other masked man speak. *GASP* His voice in a calm and proper British accent.] MW: You must forgive him. He gets himself worked up at times. However, he means well. He is a great masked-bloke. [And with that, a shocking fade.]
[We return to the ringside broadcast table and our announcers begin to talk.] CHANEY: I cannot believe what I just heard! WATTERS: He's British?!?! Seriously? CHANEY: That solves a mystery nobody could figure! WATTERS: But we had a pool in the office! CHANEY: Larry! WATTERS: We did! I actually had my money on him being a Spanish Speaker. You know the one accent, slash, manner of speaking that wasn't taken by the twelve of us that bet? CHANEY: British? WATTERS: BRITISH!!! CHANEY: I'm shocked. WATTERS: I am too! I hope we just take our money back since nobody claimed it correctly. CHANEY: Who knows, Larry. All I do know is we are about to see a match we didn't even know we wanted until earlier tonight. WATTERS: I'm STILL not certain I want to see it. CHANEY: Alex Reyn has arrived in SCW after causing all sorts of problems and issues since the league opened. WATTERS: He literally took out Big Red Love Machine and then an entire house show in El Paso! CHANEY: And he nearly got us kicked off the air before Showdown! WATTERS: The man is a menace in many ways, but tonight may be his biggest scalp as he will be taking out a literal legend. CHANEY: Listen, I refuse to think a technical wizard like Darring can't find a way to win this. WATTERS: That is because you drink the kool aid, Chaney. CHANEY: Let's take it to the ring as Aaron Buffington is ready to go!

Introducing first, from Miami, Florida... Standing at six feet, four inches and weighing in at two hundred and forty pounds... he is… "T H E L E G E N D" S E A N D A R R I N G ! ! ! [The fans begin to cheer as green mist emerges from the back. "The Legend" Sean Darring walks through the mist as he walks down the aisle way. Decked out in a full-blown golden robe with the words "The Legend" written in silver glitter letters.]The fans reach across their seats and into the aisle way trying to the legend. Sean Darring stops along the way to greet young fans and spend a few seconds with them as he continues towards the ring.] CHANEY: Darring called out the man named Alex Reyn and here he comes to vindicate himself after everythign that happened at Showdown. WATTERS: Listen, Chaney, Darring is flying blind here. I still don't know if this was the smartest move! [Finally, after what felt like a long few minutes, The Legend steps between the ropes and into the squared circle as Dann stays in the corner. Sean greets the fans. He turns one final time with his long elegant robe and raises his arms bringing the fans to their feet.] CHANEY: Listen to this reaction! These Texas fans love the Legend! WALTERS: Of course they do. Enjoy him now because this monster may be too much for a technical wizard to handle. [The robe comes off and Sean Darring takes in a massive ovation from the crowd before he folds the robe up and tosses it aside to a stagehand.] CHANEY: Well he managed a crazy type like SAGAWA at Showdown. Perhaps we give him the benefit of the doubt. WATTERS: We'll see. [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent! Standing six feet tall and weighing in at two hundred pounds. Hailing from an undisclosed location, he is known as the "East Wind." Here is.... A L E X R E Y N! ! ! [Anticipation builds as the crowd's gaze is fixed on the stage. Awaiting the arrival of the man who invaded Showdown's main event.] REYN: Are we going to fight or not? WATTERS: HOLY MOLY!!! CHANEY: Where the Heck did he come from?!?! [Indeed, Alex is standing in the ring. Arms folded and tapping his bicep impatiently, having entered from the crowd while everyone was looking up the ramp. CHANEY: Alex Reyn has arrived for real in SCW! WATTERS: Folks, this guy has been causing havoc here for MONTHS! Since the first damn day we opened! I think we will regret letting this guy into the locker room. CHANEY: I hate agreeing with you. WATTERS: This guy is a menace. Normally, I'm fine with that, but this may be an exception. CHANEY: The referee motions for the bell. WATTERS: Alrighty then! [DING DING DING] CHANEY: Here we go! Sean lunging forward, looking to tie up with his opponent! WATTERS: Ha! No! Reyn catches him with a dropkick to the knee! CHANEY: Sean is down to a knee and Reyn is building momentum, hits the ropes and-! [Reyn's knee strikes Sean Darring in the temple with a disgusting 'crunch', Sean's head whipping to the side from the blow!] CHANEY: A vicious, VICIOUS knee from Alex Reyn there, and now Sean Darring is rolling out the ring, trying to get some distance from his opponent. WATTERS: Trying to recover more like. That was an unprotected knee to his temple. If he doesn't have a concussion from that, he's one of the toughest men I've ever met! CHANEY: Reyn is certainly showing how merciless he can be. WATTERS: He’s quick too. I don’t think Darring was expecting this kind of attack. He thought Reyn was just another young punk he could put in his place CHANEY: I’m afraid I have to agree. Sean might have been looking past Reyn and- WOAH!!! [Not giving Darring a second to recover, Alex comes flying out the ring with Ascendant's wrath (Running springboard suicide crossbody) to absolutely wipe Darring out!] WATTERS: This guy is like a pitbull, he just won't let up! CHANEY: He certainly won't Bill and now! ...what is he doing? [With his opponent down, Reyn grabs a hold of the ring curtain and RIPS it free. Exposing the dirty, metal edge of the apron.] WATTERS: Creative. I like it. [Then Alex picks up Sean, pulls his dazed opponent over to the apron and Ranhei's the back of his head into the exposed metal!] WATTERS: NO!! [There is a gasp of horror from the crowd. The commentary team has stood up, dropping their mics. Sean Darring isn't moving, and on the metal, a pool of crimson red where the metal gashed his head open.] [Watters is the first to react.] WATTERS: Get EMTs out here! Get EMTs out here NOW!! [The referee is looking pale too as he goes to check on Sean Darring, who is now trying to use the ring steps to get to his knees. Blood flowing down his back from the deep cut where his neck meets his spine.] WATTERS: Alex should be ashamed of himself. He's lucky he didn't KILL Sean. CHANEY: I couldn't agree more. I hope Hopper makes sure he's punished for reckless endanger-NO!!!! WATTERS: YOU SON OF A BITCH!!! [Alex had been coldly eyeing Sean Darring when he suddenly charges forward and stomps him face first into the edge of the ring steps!] CHANEY: He... He's going to kill him! [Sean rolls over, and now everyone can see blood pouring from a cut above his eye.] WATTERS: The referee need to call it. The referee needs to call this match NOW. [Indeed, the official seems to share that sentiment and raises his hand to call for the bell… When Alex Reyn grabs his wrist.] REYN: Tell me, official. What makes you think stopping this match will stop ME? [The referee’s eyes turn wide as he realises what Alex Reyn is implying.] REYN: Because right now, I’m still choosing to limit myself by the confines of this match. [In his other hand, he raises a steel chair he had pulled from under the ring.] REYN: Would you rather I didn’t? WATTERS: No… No, no, no. Don’t do this. You’ve already won, just take the victory! [He lets go of the wrist and the referee steps back. Horror evident on his face. Alex Reyn rolls back into the ring and sits down. Eyes squarely on Sean Darring trying to crawl to his feet. REYN: Let’s see if he can make it back. Start counting. CHANEY: He… he doesn’t have a choice. ONE!! . . . . . WATTERS: Darring does though. He should just stay down. Let Reyn win. Don’t put your career at risk. . . . . .TWO!! . . . . . . . [Sean Darring is already crawling back towards the ring.] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE!! . . . . . WATTERS: No! Stay down! Don’t do this! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . FOUR!! . . . . . . CHANEY: Would you, Larry? Would you stay down like that? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . FIVE!! . . . . WATTERS: GAH!! I hate that you’re right! No. no I wouldn't just lie there! There’s no way I’d ever let ANYONE beat me like that. Especially not someone, no. SomeTHING like Reyn. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . SIX!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Dizzy, barely able to stand and losing blood by the second, Sean Darring JUST manages to slide inside the ring. Alex Reyn stands up. The ghost of a smile playing around his lips as he walks towards Sean Darring and stomps on the back of his head! The crowd boos at this heartless display as Alex Reyn stamps his foot over and over onto The Legends injury before sadistically grinding his heel into the open cut. At the table, Watters is shaking with rage and Chaney looks absolutely sickened by the sight as Sean Darring bites his lip to keep from screaming out.] CHANEY: Another remorseless stomp and now Alex Reyn has rolled Sean Darring over, lateral press. WATTERS: Thank goodness for small mercies. ONE!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . WATTERS: WHAT??! HE KICKED OUT!??! CHANEY: HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THAT??! [Alex Reyn slowly rises off of Sean Darring’s prone body.] CHANEY: Look at Reyn. He actually looks like he’s smiling at that! WATTTERS: Of course he is, the sick fuck. He’s playing with Darring like a cat with a mouse. [Alex grabs a hold of Darring’s wrist. Dragging him to the centre of the ring and leaving a bloody smear on the canvas.] CHANEY: This is sick. This is absolutely revolting. WATTERS: You’re being too nice. Even a has-been like Sean deserves more respect than this. FOLEY deserves more respect than this! [Holding onto Sean' wrist now, Alex strikes him in the head with a brutal kick, followed by another. Savagely maiming the injured man who can barely move. Callously and mockingly, Alex pauses for a brief second to place his toe under Sean Darrin's chin. Lifting his head up to look at hi-} CHANEY: DOUBLE LEG TAKEDOWN BY DARRING!! WATTERS: Reyn didn't see THAT coming! CHANEY: No, sir and now Sean Darring scrambles, waist lock applied, go-behind! German Suplex! And another! And... [But before he can complete the sequence, Sean suddenly stumbles back. Hands to his head, his knees wobbling.] WATTERS: Sean can't keep this up. He's hurt. He's hurt bad. CHANEY: But look at Reyn's face. I don't think he was expecting that kind of a rally. [Setting his jaw in a firm line, Alex measures his opponent, then comes in with a running sweep kick.] CHANEY: My word! The back of Sean's head just whip-lashed into the mat. Now Reyn is going up high! Looking to end it... Shooting Sta-DARRING CAUGHT HIM!! DARRING CAUGHT HIM!! WATTERS: TRIANGLE CHOKE APPLIED!! HOW IS HE DOING THIS??! CHANEY: WE'RE SEEING THE WILL AND PRIDE OF A MAN WHO HAS BLED AND SWEAT FOR THIS BUSINESS FOR ALMOST THIRTY YEARS!! [Blood is the problem though. Despite that brilliant counter, Sean just can't keep it locked in. Blood loss and dizziness loosen his grip and Reyn easily slips out. But when he tries to get some distance, he finds Sean is still stubbornly clinging onto his wrist! He tries to pull himself free, but with a strength and will that is almost superhuman, Sean pulls him back and take him down with an armdrag! Sean almost collapses as the world spins, but still he keeps wrist control. Even as Reyn ets up and comes in for a knee, Darring moves INTO the blow.] WATTERS: Veteran move there. Taking the impact on his chest instead of his head, and the shorter range means less impact. CHANEY: Plus, it lets him hook that waist lock. WATTERS: This may be Sean’s only chance in this match. Stay in close. Keep a hold of Reyn at all times. You can NOT outfight him. But there might be a chance if you can wrestle him. [Now Sean tries to lift Reyn up for another german. Reyn fires back with elbow strikes, but Darring anticipates this counter and dodges the attack. He tries to cinch in the hold more, but a sudden wave of dizziness and nausea passes through him and he drops to a knee.] CHANEY: Darring can barely stand, and now Alex is on the move. Coming in for a running knee- DROPKICK BY SEAN DARRING!!!! WATTERS: He won't stay down! Reyn got blasted right there! [Sean suddenly grabs at the back of his head.] CHANEY: But Darring caught the back of his head on landing. He can't take much more of this. [Darring is clutching the back of his head, blood seeping through his fingers and down his face to paint the mat red. WATTERS: He's already suffered serious blows to the head and neck. This... this isn't good. CHANEY: And Reyn has now made it back to his feet, staring down Sean Darring like a snake watching a mouse die. WATTERS: Darring can barely stand Chaney! He's trying to use the ropes to get up, but even that's barely enough to stay on his feet. [Sean is now stumbling towards Reyn. Trying to grab a hold but his vision is obscured by rivers of blood and every step makes the world spin. Still he tries to grasp his foe but Reyn steps out of reach with almost mocking casualness. The boos come fast and loud at the disrespect shown, when suddenly Alex chops Darring in his throat!] CHANEY: Absolutely no conscience shown by Alex Reyn! Kick to Sean's knee! Knee to ribs! Elbow to the temple! WATTERS: He's being torn apart! SOMEONE STOP THIS! [It seems that's exactly what Reyn has in mind as he steps back behind the now kneeling Sean Darring and fires a decimating shot.] CHANEY: SUPERKICK TO THE BACK OF SEAN'S HEAD! WATTERS: THAT COULD HOSPITALISE A MAN EVEN IF HE WERE HEALTHY! Reyn follows through. Into the cover. ONE!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRRRR.........NOOOOO!!!! CHANEY: WHAT HEART! WHAT HEART AND PRIDE THAT SEAN DARRING HAS TO KICK OUT!! WATTERS: Reyn's not taking too kindly to that though! He's rolled Sean over, now into an MMA mount reigning down punch after punch after-SEAN JUST BIT ALEX REYN'S HAND!! HA! HA! THAT'S THE OLD DARRING!! [Reyn pulls himself free, but that gave Darring the opening he needed to NAIL Alex Reyn with a low blow! Rolling him up into a schoolboy and hooking the tights!] WATTERS: YES! YES! BRILLIANT! THAT'S HOW WE DO IT OLD SCHOOL!!! ONE!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE?!?!. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . NO!!! ALEX BARELY KICKS OUT!! WATTERS: DAMNIT!!!! [This might be the only chance that Sean Darring has though! The crowd is roaring for him to make a comeback as he tries to apply the Legend Lock. But the heavy blood loss is again an issue as his vision swims, which is all the opening Alex needs to suddenly trap him in a guillotine choke! WATTERS: Oh no... no, no, no! CHANEY: What is it? WATTERS: That's a BLOOD choke! Sean barely has enough blood as it is! If he Reyn keeps this up... [Sean's desperate struggle and thrashing arm has taken on a horrifying new context. He tries to pull Reyn free. Tries to reach the ropes, but he can't! He's too far away! WATTERS: This is bad. He's already been in that hold too long. [Sean presses his hands against the mat and pushes up. Trying to stand to carry all of Reyn's weight...] CHANEY: NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX!! WATTERS: There was barely anything on it though. He only just got out of that hold and that was all he could do. [Reyn tries to get some distance when he feels his leg caught on some-] CHANEY: ANKLE LOCK! ANKLE LOCK BY SEAN! WATTERS: Barely. Barely. There's no mustard on that hold, I think Sean's just trying to do whatever he can. Fight however he can. [A mule kick directly to Sean's face from Reyn's free leg is enough to break free, and now Alex hits the ropes as Sean stands, coming in and absolutely NAILING his skull into the mat with a disgusting flipping DDT!] CHANEY: DDT! SEAN JUST GOT SPIKED ON HIS HEAD! ONE!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . CHANEY: SEAN KICKS OUT AT ONE!!!! [The look on Alex Reyn's face is one of pure, speechless shock. Staring down wide-eyed at Sean Darring. Watters has his head in his hand. The crowd is SCREAMING, and Sean... ...Sean has gone into convulsions. The euphoria drains away as they see Sean Darring. Deathly pale. Blood crimson red against his white skin. Lying on his side in a fetal position. Shivering and shaking like a man deep into a fever. His mouth opens and closes as he begins dry-heaving on the mat. That heroic act of defiance is now showing it's heavy cost. WATTERS: I... I can't watch this. [Reyn's look of shock has turned to one of disgust as he dragged Sean Darring so that his head was lying next to the ringpost. CHANEY: No... no, please don't- [Then superkicks Darring's head into the ringpost.] CHANEY: Reyn is evil. Reyn is absolutely VILE. [Grabbing Darring by the neck, he pulls him back into the ring. And delivers the final blow.] CHANEY: East Wind Cutter (Lifting spinning cutter) One. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Two. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Three! [DING! DING! DING!] [Reyn doesn't even react. Rolling out the ring and leaving his opponent lying, bleeding inside the ring as he walks calmly up the ramp as the crowd boos.] CHANEY: Someone get Sean help. Some get that EMT NOW! [Medical personnel have already rushed the ring. Surrounding a bloody Sean Darring] WATTERS: Come on old man. Don't let it end... Not like this! [The screen fades to commercials.]
[As commercials begin to play, this one runs first.] [The screen fills with flashing pictures of SCW superstars such as Pat Gordon Jr, Sean Darring, Freddie Sagawa, Caleb Foley and others all wearing new T-shirts for sale via the SCW Merchandise hotline. As each one flashes up we hear the familiar deep voice over the pictures.] VOICE OVER: Wanna wear the hottest new gear from the biggest names in the SCW? [We see pictures of some of the superstars pimping their gear. Prague Drinking Team taking a big gulps from their beers as they wears their "got pivo?" shirt. That is followed immediately by Las Preguntas showing off their new shirts with the Tag Titles around their waists.] VOICE OVER: Ever wanted to dress like your favorite SCW superstar? [The pictures come faster and faster for about 3 seconds until they just explode into a black screen.] VOICE OVER: Well now you can! [The words come over the screen in white letters, they say "SCW SUPERSTORE"] VOICE OVER: Just hit the website and find the gear you are looking to grab, then call this number to get the threads of your favorite superstars of the SCW! [The screen fades to total blackness again. The numbers come over the screen in white letters. It says 1-888-SHOP-SCW.] VOICE OVER: Just call the following number, One-Eight-Eight-Eight, SHOP SCW! That is One-Eight-Eight-Eight, Seven-Four-Six, Seven-Seven-Two-Nine. You must be 18 years of age or older to place any orders. [Fade to black.]
[The screen opens to Steve Blaine standing with Chris Smith and the two large men who got involved at Showdown. Blaine opens the segment quickly.] STEVE BLAINE: A new alliance seemed to form at Showdown between you, ‘Big Kid’ Chris Smith, and these two gentlemen, and I use that term loosely, Brady and Strauss, AKA The Law. [Brady, 6’9 and decked out in his uniform along with partner, Strauss, waggles his finger.] BRADY: Knock it off, Blaine, or we will. [Perplexed, Blaine is taken aback and looks at Strauss before Brady locks eyes on him.] BLAINE: What do you mean? BRADY: You talk to us in a way we don’t like and we’ll see fit to ram our firsts through your face and take ya down the station. How would you like that, big fella? STRAUSS: We’re The Law, Blaine, and don’t you or anyone else forget that. BRADY: We aren’t a force - we are THE force, on the streets, back here, in the ring and wherever we decide to plant our size twenties. Chris, please. [That last gesture is a total contrast to the snarling, aggressive behavior towards the interviewer, who is terribly flustered.] CHRIS SMITH: Steve, ask me anything you like. STEVE BLAINE: A victory over Kid Chameleon… [Chris is already there to stick his oar in.] SMITH: ANOTHER victory, which makes it three, four now? I’ve lost count. BLAINE: Hardly a clean win. [Chris rolls his eyes.] SMITH: Kid Chameleon has played dirty all along. The only ‘clean’ thing about that insolent is his white shirt. His soul is as dark as the shades he wears and even they can’t conceal his black heart. What I bought, er, brought to me with Showdown was not just an insurance policy. Brady, Strauss, for a long time, when you’ve had a lingering problem, well, they’ve been the best protection money could buy, but what we have goes way beyond the so-called might dollar, what we have is more than a business relationship. These guys have been there for me when nobody else has and you saw that at Showdown. BLAINE: What I saw at Showdown was Chris Smith on the brink of defeat, Kid Chameleon about to make a cover and then these two saved your skin before you could eat the pin. That’s what I and everyone else saw...whoah! [That reaction is prompted by Brady wrapping his huge right hand around Blaine’s throat.] BRADY: Chris, have you had enough? Strauss, you? Cause I have. [Brady leads Blaine over to a nearby table..] SMITH: No, Brady...don’t. [CHOKESLAM! Brady surveys his handiwork as Chris speedily rushes away, Strauss in tow, as Steve Blaine is left hapless among the wreckage.] [The screen cuts away.]
[As the scene opens, we see a church choir dressed in purple robes on a stage behind a wooden, ornate pulpit. The music is playing as the choir begins to sing "Glory, Hallelujah" and clapping with the beat of the music. Then a six foot tall, African-American man steps up to the pulpit. He is dressed flamboyantly in a pink Armani suit, with gold-rimmed glasses, a black goatee, and one gold tooth on the left side of his top front teeth. The gold rings he wears, as well as his gold watch all gleam in the lights.] MAN: Brothers and Sisters! My name is Ezekiel Abraham! And I am a prophet, a preacher, and a saint. There's nobody that will ever claim that I ain't. [Choir sings a little "glory".] ABRAHAM: SCW, I have been watching, peering, and generally looking in your direction. You are all unworthy sinners in need of salvation! [Cue the choir singing "hallelujah" loudly.] ABRAHAM: Most of you are disappointments. And it is because you have not had true leadership. Nobody to show you the way. You've been misled... [Choir echoes in singing "misled"] ABRAHAM: You've been hoodwinked... [Choir again echoes.] ABRAHAM: You've been run around the proverbial muck! [Choir gets even louder and singes "Run amuck! hmmmmmm"] ABRAHAM: But I have now arrived! And will be bringing the real crusade for your souls to Texas! That's right, I'm coming with my boys Deacon and Bishop and we're going to bring salvation back to SCW! [The choir begins to clap as they keep humming a little louder.] ABRAHAM: So be ready because the Crusaders are on the way! Glory be! [The song "Are you Ready for a Miracle" by Patti LaBelle begins to play as the choir starts clapping. Ezekiel Abraham begins to dance around as if possessed by a spirit and the screen fades to black as the following words coMe to the screen... C O M I N G S O O N T H E C R U S A D E R S [The screen then goes black and cuts away.]
[We return to the ringside announce table where our broadcast team look like they have both gotten very sick very quickly.] CHANEY: Fans, we have no updates to give as of yet. I'm at a loss. WATTERS: Uhh....how about those Crusaders? CHANEY: I know we need to hype up yet another strong team for this tag division, but after seeing what we saw in there, I'm just not able. WATTERS: I tried to tell you all this was not smart. I said he should take time to get to know him first. CHANEY: We hope to have an update for you all on Sean Darring's condition as soon as we can. All we know is that he was taken to the closest hospital to be evaluated. WATTERS: You never want to see the great ones put out like that. CHANEY: No, you don't. WATTERS: I'm speechless. CHANEY: The next match is on tap and it involves the Masked Bros as they take on the Brothers Grimm. WATTERS: We need to shake out of this. Here. [Larry reaches down and pulls a bottle of Jack Daniels from under the announce table. He also produces a pair of paper cups.] CHANEY: LARRY! WATTERS: Listen, you ever wonder how i put up with working with you? [He pours a little in each cup.] CHANEY: But... WATTERS: This is how. Now take this and drink it. It will help get you past what we just witnessed down here. CHANEY: Listen... WATTERS: DRINK! [Both men down their small amounts of alcohol quick and Chaney looks like fire just went down his throat as his eyes get wide.] CHANEY: Oh My! WATTERS: There you go! Now let's go to the ring before it wears off!

Introducing first, hailing from Peoria, Illinois and weighing in at a combined weight of five hundred and eighty-five pounds. Here are Grimmace and Grimmley.... T H E B R O T H E R S G R I M M ! ! ! ["Come Out and Play" by Offspring begins to play over the speaker system and the fans react with a little bit of awe as Grimmace walks out first. The 6'6", 345 lbs beast wears his tattered blue jean shorts and lumbers toward the ring. Behind him is Grimmley, the smaller of the brothers at 6'3" and 240 lbs. He is a little more lively and interacting with fans down the aisle even if it isn't always a positive interaction. They reach the ring and enter, awaiting the introductions of their opponents.] CHANEY: These are two huge guys! WATTERS: Yes they are and if they ever truly put some brains with their brawn, they could scare people terribly. CHANEY: I think their size is pretty formiddable. WATTERS: It can me against the right guys. [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And their opponentsFrom the great unknown ... The team of Masked Maniac and The Masked Wingman. M A S K E D B R O S ! ! ! [Masked Bros before Hoes by Droner (https: //www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnWA9yNWXGI&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR0k4tf2KRD0r6KZT6SiMoaLI6WQflJkxUyc4jxTxpuNYNogJai9LRVOqIc ) rocks the PA system. First to appear from the curtains is the Masked Maniac. He pops out with his arms extended getting a pop from the rabid Texan fans.] [It's only a matter of seconds before he is joined by the bigger masked man and his pupil, The Masked Wingman. The fun fan favorite masked men start to trot down the aisle way slapping the hands of the fans. Maniac blows a kiss at a gorgeous looking lady ringside as she blushes and smiles.] [Finally, the antics of the two masked men start to die down as they make it ringside and slide in. The Masked Wingman stands between their opponents and Maniac ensuring his mentor is safe.] [The Masked Maniac plays the fans one final time climbing the turnbuckles and giving all the ladies in the SCW arena a Maniac pelvic thrust.] CHANEY: These guys are great fan favorites here in SCW and they are looking to get back on the winning track! WATTERS: This is the toughest tag division in all of wrestling. These guys are coming off a tough loss at Shwodown and they better be right in the head or they will get squashed. CHANEY: Come on Larry! WATTERS: SQUASHED!!! [DING! DING! DING!] [As the sound of the opening bell reverberates throughout The Fertitta Center, both teams retreat to their corner and discuss last minute strategies - as a spirited game of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" gives The Masked Maniac the rights to start the match off. Nodding his head and throwing an enthusiastic thumbs up, The Maniac starts to back across the ring - only to come to the realization of who is remaining in the ring for The Brother's Grimm.] CHANEY: Uh-oh! WATTERS: Yes! Squash him like a bug! [Recognizing the mammoth form of Grimmace behind him, The Masked Maniac loses his smile and visibly tenses up - as an amused Grimmace rests a bear-like paw on the shoulder of his smaller opponent. Shaking his head and mumbling something unheard, The Maniac blesses himself subtly before doing what he has to do and spinning around he brings the back of his right hand up alongside Grimmace's head as the crowd cheers. Unfortunately it has no effect.] CHANEY: Yikes! I don't know if that was the smartest move. WATTERS: All that backhand did was cause Grimmace to well .. grimace in amusement. [The Masked Maniac matches the expression and laughs a bit nervously, throws his hands up, and tries to retreat across the ring. But as he steps backwards, Grimmace reaches out and grabs one of the upper straps of the singled The Maniac is wearing and pulls him back in. The Maniac looks down at the hand wrapped around his strap, and then back up at the behemoth form in front of him, and gingerly tries to pry the hand open.] WATTERS: Yeah, that ain't gonna work. CHANEY: It is almost like a cat playing with a mouse before he consume- No! Grimmace is opening his hand .. and placing it on the chest of The Masked Maniac. [In a hulking tone, Grimmace says "Let's go!" and shoves The Masked Maniac back into the ropes. Using the momentum of the push, The Masked Maniac rebounds towards the outstretched arm of Grimmace as he goes for a clothesline.] CHANEY: And this one is underway! Grimmace swings wildy. The Maniac ducks underneath the clothesline, and hits the ropes once again! The big man turns and drops his head, but may have telegraphed things - OOOOH! WATTERS: Big knee lift from The Masked Maniac that stands Grimmace upright! Standing clothesline from The Masked Man - ! __ S M A C K __ ! ... Flesh against flesh and it has no effect on Grimmace! That is two shots that have done absolutely nothing! CHANEY: Grimmace seems a bit amused as he motions for The Masked Maniac to get a running start. Not trying to look a gift horse in the mouth, The Masked Maniac takes him up on the offer and hits the ropes - rebounding and throwing a second clothesline. ! __ S M A C K __ ! ... NOTHING! [The size difference seems to build up confidence with Grimmace as he turns and looks at the fans, asking them if he should give The Maniac one more try. Meanwhile The Masked Maniac nods his head and starts to clap his hands to rally the fans.] CHANEY: It looks like Grimmace is going him one more go! ! CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP ! ! CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP ! ! CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP ! CHANEY: The Masked Maniac hits the ropes - NO! Grimmace was suckering him in - Clothesline - NO! Masked Maniac baseball slide through the legs! Maniac is back up .. tag to The Wingman who is quick into the ring as Grimmace turns around. WATTERS: Maniac and The Wingman waiting on him ... DOUBLE DROPKICK!!! [As four feet connect with the chest of Grimmace, he staggers backwards and into the ropes, in an attempt to maintain his balance. But before he can, The Masked Bros come charging forward with a Double Clothesline that sends him over the top and to the floor. He staggers around a bit, as The Masked Wingman vaults over the top rope and to the ring apron.] CHANEY: The Wingman to the apron, and he looks to be sizing Grimmace up for a big ol' moonsault or something. WATTERS: But he is in corner of The Brothers Grimm. Here comes Grimmley! CHANEY: Grimmley charges along the ring apron - The Wingman lowers his head - BACKDROP ONTO GRIMMACE!!!! [But Grimmace shows his power as he catches Grimmley before either of them go crashing to the ground. Almost instinctively he hoists his partner up into powerbomb position on his shoulders in an attempt to right him - leaving a prime opportunity for The Wingman to land a standing sidekick off the ring apron to the teeth of Grimmley.] CHANEY: HOLY WHOS-A-WHATS-IT! GRIMMLEY JUST HURRICANRANA'ED GRIMMACE!!! WATTERS: The Wingman back into the ring as he celebrates with a high five to The Masked Maniac! MASKED BROS! CLAP CLAP! MASKED BROS! CLAP CLAP! MASKED BROS! CLAP CLAP! MASKED BROS! CLAP CLAP! MASKED BROS! CLAP CLAP! MASKED BROS! CLAP CLAP! [The frustration of the antics of The Masked Bros is painted on the face of Grimmley as he pulls himself back to a vertical base with the assistance of the ring apron and dives under the bottom rope and back to his feet. He charges towards The Masked Maniac who hears him coming and drops to him stomach. But as Grimmley leaps over, he soon finds the feet of The Wingman connecting with his jaw.] CHANEY: B-E-A-UTIFIL dropkick from The Wingman! He scurries in for a quick cover, but Grimmley kicks out before Referee Shane Staggs can even manage a one count. WATTERS: Well The Masked Bros may be bringing the flash, but there is no question that The Brothers Grimm have a clear and distinct size advantage, as The Wingman goes for a side headlock on Grimmley. CHANEY: Grimmley using his size to back The Masked Wingman into the ropes, as he pushes him off. Grimmley with the dropdown, The Wingman up and over. Grimmley quickly gets back to his feet and grabs the back of The Wingman's tights! Waistlock from behind - GERMAN SUPL- NO! WATTERS: The Wingman rolls through it and to his feet as Grimmley spins on his kne- OOOPH! Leaping knee strike from The Masked Wingman .. who collapses on top! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TW- WATTERS: Still an easy kickout! CHANEY: It was, but man are The Masked Bros on fire tonight. You can just tell that they are aching to get back to their winning ways after The Walk the Plank match at Showdown just two weeks ago! [Guiding him back to his feet by the back of his head, The Wingman extends an arm for a tag before guiding the smaller of The Brother's Grimm back to his feet.] CHANEY: Referee Shane Staggs signaling that a tag was made as The Wingman whips Grimmley into the ropes. Grimmley rebounds as The Wingman drops down. Grimmley up and over and into the waiting arms of The Masked Maniac who is waiting with a ... BODYSLAM! WATTERS: The Wingman now back up and running towards his partner as The Masked Maniac with a scoop ... and slams The Wingman down across the chest of the face up Grimmley. The Masked Maniac now into the ropes .. kneedrop right between the eyes! CHANEY: COVER! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . [Before the official can register a three count, the thunderous footsteps of Grimmace can be heard as he lumbers across the ring and plants a boot right upside the head of The Masked Maniac - the impact forcing him to roll to the outside of the ring.] CHANEY: Referee Shane Staggs right there to assert some authority, as he reprimands Grimmace and tells him to get back to his corner. But it may have bought his partner some time as he rolls into the corner of The Brother's Grimm. [Just as Grimmley is about to tag his partner though, The Masked Maniac seizes Grimmley's ankle and starts to pull him back across the ring as he shakes his head towards the disgruntled Grimmace saying "Nope nope nope nope."] WATTERS: Smart move by The Maniac. He has already learned that it isn't going to be easy to fell the over three-hundred pound, Grimmace. OOPH! But those two boots to the face by Grimmley fell The Masked Maniac as Grimmley scurries across the ring - TAG TO THE BIG MAN! CHANNEY: TAG TO THE WINGMAN! The Masked Bros back to their feet as Grimmace steps over the top rope. They charge aaaand ... Grimmace takes them down with a double shoulder block. WATTERS: Size matters Eric! Size ... Matters. CHANNEY: My condolences to Mrs Watters then as Grimmace goes for another running clothesline. Both of The Masked Bros duck under .. Grimmace turns around .. boot to the stomach .. and both men going for a double suplex. WATTERS: But there is too much Grimmace for them to handle! [With a man on each side, The Masked Bros try with all their might to lift Grimmace, who sandbags them - making it nearly impossible to lift.] CHANNEY: The Masked Wingman reaches for his own back - possibly still feeling the effects of that fall during The Walk to Pla- WAIT! REVERSAL BY GRIMMACE! WATTERS: Look at the power! He has both men up in a vertical suplex and he is just holding them both up there! [Finally, after a good seven or eight seconds, Grimmace throws his feet out from underneath him and drives the backs of both Masked Bros into the canvas with a stalling suplex. Sitting up between them, he curls his face up onto a toothy smile as he starts back to his feet. Meanwhile a pained Masked Maniac rolls to the outside of the ring.] CHANEY: The tide has shifted in this one as Grimmace waves his "brother" back into the ring, and signals for The G-Bomb! WATTERS: Both men pulling The Masked Wingman back to his feet .. and if they hit this Double Uranage Slam, it will be a done deal. [Reaching down and seizing the seat of The Masked Wingman's singlet, The Brothers Grimm start to hoist him up in the air - as he suddenly lashes out with an elbow strike alongside the head of Grimmley, causing him to lose his grip. Noticing an escape route, The Wingman shoots out another elbow as Grimmley staggers towards the ropes.] WATTERS: Grimmley is going to have some ringing in his ears tomorrow morning from those elbows - and possibly some balance issues as The Masked Wingman wriggles loose from the grasp of Grimmace as well. CHANEY: The Masked Wingman shaking free of almost certain defeat as he hits the ropes now - giant overhand chop from Grimmace is ducked by The Wingman! Wingman off the ropes one more time .. constant motion has been the name of the game tonight! WATTERS: Backhand attempt from Grimmace, but The Wingman ducks, hooks the arm, and rides through for a CRUCIFIC ATTEMPT! ["HELL NAW!" Grimmace screams out as he barely moves from the attempted flash pin, and shifts the weight of The Masked Wingman up higher on his own shoulders.] CHANEY: What does he have in mind? Death Valley Driver? Samoan Drop? Whatever it is, it isn't going to be good for The Wingma- [But before he can fully get The Wingman in position, The Masked Maniac reaches through the ropes and shoves Grimmley forward - headfirst into the skull of Grimmace causing him to stagger backwards as Grimmley drops to his knees.] CHANEY: THE BROTHER'S GRIMM COLLIDE! WINGMAN WITH THE CRUCIFIX! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE! WATTERS: NO! KICKOUT!!! CHANEY: That was a close one! I thought for a moment that they were going to pull it off on the big man. [Shocked by the near pinfall, Grimmace starts to fight his way back to his feet as Referee Shane Staggs tries to get some modicum of order in the match. But it is all for naught, because as Grimmace gets back up, The Masked Maniac uses the back of the downed Grimmley as a launching pad and leaps into the air.] CHANEY: What does he have in mind? MANIC SPIKE ON GRIMMACE! THE MASKED MANIAC WITH THE COVER!!! AND THE CROWD COUNTS! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE!!! WATTERS: He isn't the legal man! Referee Shane Staggs is waving it off! CHANEY: As much as it is killing these fans, it was the right call. The official now motioning to The Masked Maniac to get back to his corner. He is protesting, but The Masked Wingman is still in this one as he goes for a cover. NO! Grimmley is right there with a handful of mask! WATTERS: Grimmley dragging The Masked Wingman over the body of his fallen partner and - kick to the midsection from The Wingman. Grimmley down to one knee! [Placing one boot on the bent knee of Grimmley, The Masked Wingman pushes himself up and backwards as he executes an impressive moonsault for a guy his size. But before he goes chest to chest with Grimmace, he tucks his knees and drives them both into his sternum] WATTERS: KNEE-COLEPSY FROM THE WINGMAN! CHANEY: COVER! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [But it is clear that Grimmley is way too close to the action as he raises both of his hands for a double axehandle - high over the head of the prone Masked Wingman.] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [But as he starts to drop down, The Masked Maniac dives into the ring behind Grimmley and hooks his legs, as he rolls him backwards for a school boy of his own.] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE!!! [DING! DING! DING!] [And the sound of the ringing bell drives the fans into a frenzy, as an excited Masked Wingman pushes himself up to his knees, and The Masked Maniac leaps to his feet in celebration - the sound of "Masked Bros before Hoes" by Droner filling the air.] CHANEY: A quick and sudden onslaught, and one hell of a one-two combo see The Masked Bros back on the winning ways here tonight in Houston. WATTERS: You got that right! I don't think anything was going to stop them from bouncing back after what some might consider a shocking loss at Showdown. But what is done is done .. and Maniac and The Wingman have another check in the "W" Column. [The screen cuts away.]
[Cut backstage where SCW's most intense tag team is standing by, the American Revival. Even though they don't have a match scheduled - Colby Prince and Ryan Paris are still dressed for potential action. Always ready and always prepared.] PARIS: It's 2020 and it's that time everyone is hitting the gym, writing down their goals, listening to their motivation podcasts, and talking about new years resolutions. [Paris looks over at his partner and the two laugh.] PARIS: 2020 is the same for us as 2019 as 2018 and you get the idea. For years we have came out with one goal and we have lived that goal. To be the best tag team in professional wrestling. Everywhere we have gone we have beaten the best. SCW, will be no different. Nobody on the roster is safe. If you are a SCW tag team you are on our radar. If your name is booked against us - then you are scheduled to have a bad night. [Prince nods in agreement.] PRINCE: While 2020 kicks off with the same goals and motivation there is one thing that is different. We enter the year employed by the SCW. We have some wins under our belt. We have impressed and made a statement. Our words are no longer just words. So when we stand here and we tell you all that we WILL become the SCW Tag Team Champions then we have your attention. [Confident smiles.] PRINCE: When we stand here and tell O'Brien and Keegan that their tag title reign is only safe until they step in the ring. They know we mean business. When we tell every single tag team in the SCW that they are only competing for 2nd place they all know that there isn't a damn thing anyone of them can do. 2019 was statement time. 2020 we dominate. [Paris pats his partner on the shoulder in support.] PARIS: Tonight, we were given the night off from destruction in the ring. However, The American Revival never takes the night off from being the best. It's only a matter of time until those tag team titles are around our waist. We have made our intentions clear. There can be no mistaking our goals. There can be no mistaking our new years resolutions. We are here for one thing and one thing only. PRINCE: Beating every single one of you. Winning the SCW Tag Team Titles. We will see each and every one of you in 2020. [The screen cuts away.]
[The screen opens to show Keegan walkign down the hall backstage.] KEEGAN: Hey, how, wait up! [Keegan rushes down the corridor to catch up with a young, blond lad with a fairly slim build, well compared to K at least, but standing around 6’2, a smart white suit and a Texas tie to complement the number.] KEEGAN: Charlie, what are you doing here? No, don’t tell me you’re gonna have a pop at HIM… CHARLIE: Someone has to. I thought it would be YOU. What’s happened to you, Keegan? What’s happened to Hopper? Doesn’t anyone care? [Charlie shakes his head.] KEEGAN: Listen, lad. He’ll get his. CHARLIE: So, I keep hearing. How many people has he got to go through until that happens? The old Keegan would have done it already. [A jabbed left thumb goes into the Geordie’s chest for emphasis.] KEEGAN: What do you want me to do? CHARLIE: Something! Anything! If you don’t… KEEGAN: If I don’t, what? [Hands on hips, Special K stares straight through Charlie.] CHARLIE: I will. KEEGAN: You can’t. You’re a bairn, you can’t - think about your career. Think about your… [Charlie is wide-eyed as he goes off on one.] CHARLIE: Dad? That’s WHO I’m thinking about and by the looks of it, I’m the only one. If nobody else… KEEGAN: SOMEONE will sort it. Just promise me it won’t be you. He’s got enemies coming out of his ears. There are people already on it. CHARLIE: And if they don’t? KEEGAN: Then, your old man’s best mates will. CHARLIE: I hope so. KEEGAN: Charlie, tell him I’ll give him a ring. CHARLIE: I will. KEEGAN: Love you. CHARLIE: I love you, too. [The pair exchange a back-thumping hug.] KEEGAN: Take care of yourself. CHARLIE: I debut next year… KEEGAN: I know. Where does the time go? CHARLIE: If it’s not done by then… KEEGAN: I won’t stand in your way. CHARLIE: We both know you will, so let’s shake on it. KEEGAN: Shake on it? CHARLIE: People like you and your dad always taught me your word and handshake are your bond. If you don’t do it for whatever reason, I know you’ll still try and stop me, so shake on it that you won’t. KEEGAN: On your dad’s life. CHARLIE: On my dad’s life. [The two extend their hands, coming to an agreement of some sort before parting ways in opposite directions.]
[Alfie Button is sat on a director’s chair with his patented multi-colored trench coat that makes Joseph’s look like it’s a Newcastle United shirt.] BUTTON: I don’t paint ‘ouses, but I do paint pictures, so bear wiv me for a minute or two, innit? The Irishman, directed by the man Marty Scorsese, is a diamond of a film. It tells the movie of a mafia ‘itman called Frank Sheeran, played by Bobby De Niro, ‘oo gets his start under Russell Buffalino, a different role for that mad bugger, Joe Pesci, ‘oo while he ‘as his moments, is much calmer under than the collar than ovver Scorsese classics. [Alfie takes a breath.] BUTTON: Russell also introduces Frank to Jimmy ‘Offa, that’s Al Pacino’s part, and they ‘ave a workin’ relationship too. Jimmy’s disappearance is one of the greatest mysteries ‘ere in the US over the last ‘undred years and this film gives its own accahnt of what ‘appened to Mister ‘Offa. Wivout goin’ into it too much, as The Irishman lasts almost free and a ‘alf hours, Frank lives well into old age. Only people ‘oo were there reckon old Frank had nuffin to do wiv it and not only that, but he wasn’t a notorious killer a’all. In fact, he was an ‘oax. Someone else of Irish descent who is an ‘oax is our own Lonestar ‘eavyweight champion, Pat Gordon Junior. [The number one contender to the aforementioned title shakes his head in disbelief.] BUTTON: Irishman? As Irish as a taco, which he’s fond of. Then again, that’s funny because ‘is manager claims to be Mexican and ‘e’s Lord Fraud, an’all. And, just to wind the Texans up, ‘e’s cosied up to Okla’oma when everyone knows he’s from Boston, which is where this Irish ancestry bit comes in. Tough guy? That takes the biscuit. [Button stands up, pacing the floor as he delivers the next excerpt of the ‘review.’] BUTTON: Eivver way, while his dad was a geezer, Junior is someone who’s busted ‘is arse off for years, and gone round in circles until he linked up El Gringo Loco Down in Acapulco and the two ov ‘em have won TWO World titles, arse over elbow and not deserved a single ‘fing. Then, he reckons ‘e’s the ‘ardest workin’ man in pro wrestling? To quote my mentor talking to your mentor, Pat, don’t make me laff! [For added effect, the cocky Cockney lets out a belly laugh.] BUTTON: The Irishman almost never saw the light ov day, which would ‘ave been a real shame, but nobody would’ve been bovvered, except for the old goat, if Pat Gordon Junior ‘ad got his comeuppance against ‘Legend’ Sean Darring, ‘oo had Pat’s head spinning more than his initials if you know what I mean. [A knowing wink to the camera.} BUTTON: Sean shoulda done it, and ‘ere we are. I don’t know what’s up wiv that ovver Irishman, Caleb Foley, but it seems I’m battling the Irish mafia. I’m SCW’s Jimmy ‘offa, but I ain’t goin’ anywhere. As for your title though, Patty Boy? Well, there’s no mystery about that. It’s as simple as one, two, free and A, B, C. [One finger.] BUTTON: Alfie [Make that dos.] BUTTON: Button [Or tres.] BUTTON: Champion. [The screen cuts away.]
[We return to the ringside announce table where our broadcast team quickly gets rid of the paper glasses after obviously taking another shot.] CHANEY: Alfie Button making his intentions clear backstage as he gets ready for the main event, Larry. WATTERS: The guy is brash, and you have to like that. I just don't see him as material for the belt. He just enjoys too much love from the sheep out here. CHANEY: Well tonight he teams with Sagawa to battle Johnny Psychotic and Caleb Foley. WATTERS: This main event is an interesting one and it will all hinge on whether Caleb Foley wants to be a man or a puppet of the people. CHANEY: You don't think he will perform as scheduled? WATTERS: I think if he EVER wants title glory, he has to start being pragmatic. CHANEY: I'm shocked. WATTERS: At what? CHANEY: The fact you knew how to properly use the word "pragmatic." WATTERS: I'm not stupid. CHANEY: I think the Jack Daniels has opened your vocabulary. WATTERS: I know it helsp me tolerate yours. CHANEY: Fans, it is main event time and this one promises to be a doozy! WATTERS: Yes it does! CHANEY: Let's go to the ring and see how it all plays out here in Houston!
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]

[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Alright Houston, Texas!!! This is the MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!!! [Crowd cheers the main event announcement and hometown mention.] BUFFINGTON: this tag team match is set for one fall and has a fifteen-minute time limit! Introducing first, from Long Island, New York and weighing in at two hundred-sixty-three pounds.... "T H E H U M A N H E A R T A T T A C K" J O H N N Y P S Y C H O T I C ! ! ! ["Take Me To The Hospital" by The Prodigy erupts over the PA as Johnny Psychotic steps out onto the entrance ramp and is alone for the second match in a row. Johnny wears a black one piece singlet in black and has a heart on the front of the singlet and the boots and "Human Heart Attack" on the butt... His shoulder length black hair is hanging loose. He strides down to the ring and Johnny slides under the bottom rope, clambers to his feet and climbs to the nearest middle turnbuckle, holding his arms out and soakin gin the boos of the crowd. Psychotic drops back down into the ring and motions toward the entrance aisle for his opponent to come out already.] BUFFINGTON: And his partner! ["Loyal to No-One" by The Dropkick Murphy's plays over the PA as the arena goes completely silent.] #I first meet this man at the Cammen street Tracks # #In no shape for success headed nowhere to fast# #He may have been someone once by the sound of his call # #Now he answers to no one# #NO-ONE AT ALL!# [A hooded man stands at the entrance just bouncing to the beat of the music. His head is down so his face is completely covered. The man lifts up his head to reveal that it is none other Caleb Foley and the crowd has absolutely exploded now with cheers.] #We all die alone, he shouted as he passed# #With no sense of regret, see he never looked back# #Though his pride was wounded, his ego was strong# #Yea that was his Trouble and this is his Song# #You said we die alone, in this case you were right# #No friends by your side or family in sight# #There'll be no talking your way out this time# #So don't count the cash cause you leave it behind# BUFFINGTON: Hailing from Dublin, Ireland and weighing in at two hundred-fifteen pounds. Here is... "T H E C E L T I C C R I P P L E R" C A L E B F O L E Y ! ! ! [Caleb pulls the hood off his head and reveals a new hairstyle his reddish hair completely slicked back and a full red beard with a black goatee. Caleb begins to walk down the entrance when he stops, he bends down and pounds his knuckles to the ground and his points up to the sky as a tribute to his deceased father. Foley continues to walk down to the ring as the fans are chanting his name but seems not to really be interacting with them as much as his once did. Foley is looking in the ring and he seems to mean business. Foley slides underneath the bottom rope and begins to stretch against the ropes.] CHANEY: We still don't know what is going on in Foley's mind right now, but gettign teamed with Psychotic isn't a good sign. WATTERS: I think it is a great sign if it means he finally wills top allowing the sheep to worship him and kick some ass! [The ring announcer continues...] BUFFINGTON: And their opponents ... [As the words leave the lips of SCW's Resident Ring Announcer, Aaron Buffington, three things engulf The Fertitta Center in Houston, Texas. Anticipation. Excitement. Total Darkness. Almost instantly the fans recognize what is to come, as the pounding drums of Shinedown's "Sound of Madness hit the PA System.] o/~ Yeah, I get it you're an outcast o/~ Always under attack always coming in last o/~ Bringing up the past no one owes you anything o/~ I think you need a shotgun blast a kick in the ass o/~ So paranoid o/~ Watch your back! [The capacity crowd claps their hands and stomps their feet to the driving beat as the a spotlight slowly rises over the entrance tunnel to show a frantic SAGAWA headbanging along to the rhythm as a curious Alfie Button stands besides him watching on. But the curiosity quickly moves from one way to another as the sound of Shinedown smoothly transitions to the pop'ish beat of "Freed from Desire" by GALA. As Alfie pumps his fist in the air to rally the crowd, a confused SAGAWA stares over at him and awkwardly begins to mimic the motion, much to the delight of the Houstonians.[] BUFFINGTON: First, he comes to us tonight from the deepest darkest regions of The Aokigahara Forest in Japan and weighed in at two hundred ninety-three pounds. He is ... The Kochi Cannibal The Madman from Japan The Aokigahara Angel of Death He is ... S A G A W A ! ! ! [The announcement of his name draws the partying eyes of SAGAWA back towards the ring where he takes notice of the two individuals standing before him - and the look slowly evolves one to malice, furor, and hysteria. His head quickly snaps back to look at his partner, before bolting down the aisle towards the ring.] [Back in the ring a panicked Aaron Buffington bails from the ring and starts his announcement as Alfie Button gives chase to his maniacal tag team partner.] BUFFTINGON: His tag team partner comes to us tonight from England and weighed in at two hundred four pounds. He is The Top Contender to the SCW Lonestar Championship ... he is ... A L F I E B U T T O N ! ! ! [The crowd's reaction is a mixture of exuberance for the Top Contender as well as anticipation of what is to come as SAGAWA leaps forward to dive underneath the bottom rope and into the ring - just as Button reaches out and seizes his tag team partner by the angle to stop him. But as SAGAWA's head snaps around to comprehend why he is being stopped, Caleb Foley takes advantage of the situation and dives through the ropes with a Tope Suicida that clears the body of SAGAWA and connects with two hands directly to the chest of Alfie Button, sending him backwards and to the floor of The Fertitta Center.] [DING! DING! DING!] CHANEY: It's Main Event time tonight on Rampage, and this one is starting fast and furious! [The shot to the chest of Button is enough to free up SAGAWA, who again turns his eyes back towards the ring and Johnny Psychotic, who cocks both fists and shows that he is ready to go to war. But this time, Caleb Foley reaches out and grabs a handful of SAGAWA's camouflage shorts and pulls him back to the ringside area. As SAGAWA looks around confused, Foley rolls under the bottom rope and points a warning finger at Psychotic, telling him to get back to the team corner. Confused. Angry. Reluctant. Psychotic throws his hands up and retreats back to the corner as Referee Barry Snider throws up a finger on each hand. The universal referee signal for one and one.] CHANEY: It looks like both Button and Foley are on the same page of trying to keep Psychotic and SAGAWA away from one another tonight. But SAGAWA wants a fight and here he comes back into the ring - as Foley turns around! Right hand from SAGAWA! WATTERS: Foley fires back with an elbow strike! And can you blame them Chaney? You know as well as I do, that the second Psychotic and SAGAWA get their hands on one another all rules are going out the window. Those two have one mission and one mission only in mind ... end .. each .. other! CHANEY: You better believe it. But this match isn't about only the two of them, as Foley rocks SAGAWA with a few more solid looking elbow strikes that snap The Kochi Cannibal's head backwards repeatedly. [Each elbow strike from Foley makes a dull thumping sound against the jaw of SAGAWA, as his long braided ponytail whips through the air, and he backs up against the ropes.] CHANEY: You heard it earlier tonight, but Foley is coming into this match with a chip on his shoulder the size of Steve Dann. He feels that he was destined to be The Lonestar Champion at Showdown - but then Pat Gordon Jr. happened. WATTERS: Which left The Top Contender Trophy in his sites, only to have it yanked literally from his fingertips by Alfie Button. [SAGAWA slumps against the ropes, feeling the effects of the strikes, as Caleb Foley takes hold of his wrists and sends him sailing across the ring with An Irish Whip. As SAGAWA rebounds, Foley drops chest first to the canvas and SAGAWA passes over the top and into the opposite strands. This time though as SAGAWA turns off the ropes, he finds a pair of feet sailing towards his jaw, courtesy of the proud Irishman.] CHANEY: Picturesque dropkick from Foley sends SAGAWA down, but not for long as he scurries back to his feet and Caleb is waiting with an armdrag! Foley releases and is back up .. SAGAWA back up .. another armdrag from Caleb Foley! WATTERS: We have seen alot out of The Aokigahara Angel of Death since he first arrived on the scene here in SCW - but we haven't seen is a whole lot of wrestling. It looks like The True Top Contender is taking him into those waters tonight. CHANEY: As Foley locks in a deep arm wringer on a baffled SAGAWA, I have to disagree with you Larry. WATTERS: Shocker. CHANEY: SAGAWA had a really fun and wild wrestling based match with his partner tonight, Alfie Button, just a few weeks ago - and lest I remind you, he won. And since then, these two have had one another's backs. WATTERS: He may have won, but it was because of a moment of weakness from Alfie Button and a fluke small package. You can say they have each other's backs, but I bet if Alfie and SAGAWA had to cross paths again - the result would be quite different. [The pain from the arm wringer is evident on the face of SAGAWA, as he turns his body some and places the palm of his hand under the jaw of Caleb Foley and cranks his neck back some as he shifts his weight and forces himself back to his feet.] CHANEY: Very classic escape from SAGAWA, as he forces Foley up to a verticl base and follows suit as he backs Foley back into the ropes. SAGAWA with some pressure, as he whips Foley off into the ropes. Foley rebounds - BLIND TAG FROM PSYCHOTIC! WATTERS: You SAW that? CHANEY: SAGAWA now with the dropdown, I don't know if he knew Psychotic made the tag! Foley off the ropes, SAGAWA turns and leaps with a reverse body scissors on Foley - CAZADORA! SAGAWA reaches back on the left and hooks the arm of Foley ... ARMDRAAAAAAGGGG!!! [With his legs wrapped around the waist of Caleb Foley like a wheelbarrow, SAGAWA reaches back and hooks the arm of his opponent and shifts his weight forward - sending Foley flying with a lucha-style armdrag right into the chest of Johnny Psychotic as he passes into the ring. Instinctively Foley rolls to the outside of the ring as Psychotic gets back to his feet and comes eye to eye with his adversary.] CHANEY: OH BABY! WATTERS: Here we g- _ S M A C K _ [There is a smattering of jeers from the crowd as Alfie Button defensively reaches from his corner and tags the shoulder of an unaware SAGAWA. The impact from the tag causes The Madman from Japan to turn his head just long enough for an opportunist Johnny Psychotic to hit him with a running forearm that knocks him through the ropes and to the floor.] CHANEY: We said it earlier. I think Foley and Button are going to do everything in their power to keep Psychotic and SAGAWA away from one another in an attempt to keep some semblance of control. But that forearm from Psychotic was uncalled for. WATTERS: And Psychotic needs to keep his head in the game as he is jaw-jacking with SAGAWA on the floor, while Alfie Button is now the legal man. [While Psychotic laughs and points a warning finger towards SAGAWA, a buzz starts to sweep over the fans as Alfie Button moves into an offensive position behind The Human Heart Attack and prepares for something.] WATTERS: Pay attention Psychotic! CHANEY: I PITY THE FOOL! Huge European Uppercut rocks the teeth of Johnny Psychotic as he turns around and gets knocked back into the ropes! He quickly follows it up with another uppercut as he tries to chop the bigger man down. WATTERS: The biggest man in a match is usually the one that isn't on his back. [Button unloads a third uppercut as a split screen shot shows Tiberius Nixon lounging in one of the lower level Luxury Boxes watching the action - shouting encouragement to his charge that is most likely drowned out by the cheering of the fans.] CHANEY: Tiberius Nixon watching on from afar. WATTERS: Which is probably for the best. Because every time he is around Freddie Sagawa, bad things happen. I still cannot get that Doomsday Device out of my mine from Showdown. But for now he is safe, unlike Johnny Psychotic, who is being whipped across the ring by The Londoneer. CHANEY: As Psychotic gets whipped off the ropes, Alfie Button hits the strands on the near side for some momentum! Both men heading towards each other with the assistance of the ropes - CROSS BODY FROM BUTTON - CAUGHT!!! WATTERS: Johnny Psychotic's strength coming into play, as he throws himself back and tosses Button overhead with an S.O.S. Slam! [The body of Alfie Button hits the canvas with some serious impact as he is forced to roll from the ring and to the floor as Johnny Psychotic slowly and deliberately gets back to his feet and taunts Button from the floor. Planting his hands on the apron, Alfie starts to get to his feet with his eyes locked on Psychotic ... ... who reverses direction and drives an elbow back into the jaw of an unprepared SAGAWA and sends him sailing off the ring apron. No sooner does SAGAWA's feet hit the floor than he dives under the bottom rope into the ring just in time to be cut off by Referee Barry Snider.] WATTERS: Psychotic caught SAGAWA half asleep ... [Realizing what is happening, Button starts to dive under the bottom rope as well, but as he starts his momentum, Caleb Foley charges across the apron of the ring and lands a punt upside Button's skull enough to daze him and stagger him backwards.] CHANEY: The referee is distracted and Foley and Psychotic going to work as Foley turns on the apron and Psychotic scoops him up .. military press on Foley .. [Psychotic with a display of power as he hoists the body of his partner high over his head and takes a step towards the ropes and hurls him down atop the body of a stunned Alfie Button.] WATTERS: Psychotic just used his own partner as a weapon against Button, and now Caleb Foley scoops Alfie up and rolls him back into the ring at the feet on the bigger Psychotic. CHANEY: Johnny taking a moment to turn his head and smirk at SAGAWA ... WATTERS: ... who he clearly outsmarted ... CHANEY: ... before measuring a knee, and dropping int right at the base of Button's head and neck. And if Psychotic is smart ... WATTERS: ... which he is ... CHANEY: ... that should become the focal point for the attack for the rest of this match. [The deliberate knee lands uncomfortably on the neck and shoulder of Psychotic who casually strides over and straddles the body of the face down Alfie Button. Bending over, Johnny crosses the arms of Button across his stomach and clutches at both wrists.] CHANEY: What does Psychotic have in mind here? WATTERS: I think I know, and if he pulls this off ... [Grasping the opposite wrists, Psychotic bends his legs a little, and then utilizing pure power he hoists the two hundred four pounds of Button off the canvas and starts to shift all the weight backwards.] WATTERS: DEADLIFT WRIST CLUTCH SUPLEX! HOLY HAMBURGER HELPER!!! CHANEY: The head and neck of Button connect with the canvas, and Psychotic holds it for a bridge! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Pumping his knees, Button builds enough momentum to roll his shoulders out of the pin attempt as he flops over onto his stomach, a bit surprised at what transpired as even the crowd seems to be in awe of what Johnny Psychotic just pulled off.] CHANEY: WOW! I did NOT think we would be getting two-counts this early in the match-up, as Psychotic seizes and ankle of Alfie Button and pulls him back to his corner. We have a tag to Caleb Foley. WATTERS: Three seconds of distraction is all it takes for a match-up to end. Ask anyone who has ever been in the ring wars - myself included. But Foley now springboard to the top, and he dives in with an elbow across the head and shoulders of Button. Foley back to his feet ... CHANEY: He charges across the ring - FLYING FOREARM TO SAGAWA!!! AGAIN!!! [Just like before, SAGAWA's feet hit the floor and he tries to roll back into the ring only to be cut off by Referee Barry Snider. The distraction allowing Psychotic and Foley the opportunity to put fists and boots to the downed body of Alfie Button who instinctively curls himself up into a fetal position to absorb as many of the blows as possible.] WATTERS: SAGAWA's uncontrolled rage is going to be the downfall of his team as Caleb Foley now locks his arms around the waist of Alfie Button and lifts him up into a Canadian Backbreaker ... CHANEY: ... Johnny Psychotic running the ropes ... MAFIA KICK TO THE HEAD ... WATTERS: ... SPIN OUT INTO A DDT!!! WHAT A MANEUVER!!! It is like these two have been teaming forever and a day as Referee Barry Snider sees the cover! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRE- CHANEY: BROKEN UP BY SAGAWA!!! [On his knees, SAGAWA begins to unleash with overhead hammer fist after hammer fist across the back of Foley, each show being accentuated with a dull thud as Foley covers up the back of his head to absorb some attack. Meanwhile Johnny Psychotic takes note and grabs the back of SAGAWA's tights and hair and pitches him through the ropes and to the floor.] WATTERS: Psychotic tosses SAGAWA, and points a warning finger at Referee Barry Snider telling him to do his job and keep SAGAWA out. CHANEY: Ironic, no? When you consider the official doing his job has afforded Foley and Psychotic quite a few opportunities for shenanigans thus far. WATTERS: If the ref doesn't see it ... CHANEY: Yeah, I know. But Button now getting himself a bit of a breather as he rolls to the outside of the ring right here in front of us. Foley is the legal man, and trying to shake off those shots from SAGAWA. Meanwhile Johnny Psychotic returning to his corner of the ring. WATTERS: I am not going to lie. I was expected pure and unadulterated chaos out of this match and so far we have had a nice solid tag team contest. [As Button tries to grab a breather, Foley takes note of his surroundings and decides to go back on the offensive as he runs the ropes on the opposite side of the ring and comes charging towards where Button is. Dropping to his chest, Foley slides feet first across the last quarter of the ring with a baseball slide.] WATTERS: BASEBALL SLIDE FROM FOLEY! NO! BUTTON DUCKED! FOLEY OVERHEAD! _ S M A C K ! ! ! _ CHANEY: SUPERKICK TO THE TEETH BY ALFIE BUTTON!!! [The impact from foot to jaw causes Foley to stagger back against the broadcasting table, his lower spine connecting with the edge of the wooden platform. Clutching at his back, Foley stumbles forward to a waiting Alfie Button who connects with another perfectly formed superkick - that this time sends Caleb Foley spilling up onto the broadcast table.] CHANEY: That's it! I am outta here! [The camera picks up Larry Watters and Eric Chaney as they scurry away from the broadcast table, The Celtic Crippler starting to push himself back up to a vertical base - meanwhile Alfie Button leaps up onto the ring apron.[ CHANEY: Button up onto the ring apron ... WATTERS: HERE COMES PSYCHOTIC!!! _ S M A C K ! ! ! _ CHANEY: Superkick for Psychotic sends him through the ropes and into the ring as Alfie Button now sizing up Foley, who is back to his feet! [Taking note of the position of Caleb Foley, Alfie Button turns to face the ring, closes his eyes, and takes a deep breath. Clutching the top rope, The Top Contender pulls back on the strand before vaulting himself upwards onto it. As his feet connect with the rope, he propels himself backwards and twists multiple times in the air before his back connects solidly with the chest of an unaware Caleb Foley.] CHANEY: SPRINGBOARD TWISTING SOMERSAULT SENTON TO A STANDING CALEB FOLEY!!!! _ T H U D ! ! ! _ [As the back of Button connects with the chest of Foley, both men go spilling from the announcer's table and over the guardrail and into the sea of fans that are already on their feet chanting.] ALF-IE BUT-TON!!! CLAP CLAP!!! CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! ALF-IE BUT-TON!!! CLAP CLAP!!! CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! ALF-IE BUT-TON!!! CLAP CLAP!!! CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! ALF-IE BUT-TON!!! CLAP CLAP!!! CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! ALF-IE BUT-TON!!! CLAP CLAP!!! CLAP CLAP CLAP!!! WATTERS: In all my life, I have never seen anything like it! Alfie Button just inexplicably twisted through the air and both men went flying into the crowd! CHANEY: Unbelievable! Both of these men could be out of it! WATTERS: But if both of these men are out of it ... [The camera quickly pans to the ring and Johnny Psychotic as he uses the top rope to pull himself up to his feet following the deadeye superkick from Alfie Button. But as he gets back up, the camera and the crowd take notice of the figure standing behind him - chest heaving with adrenaline and anticipation.] CHANEY: IT'S PSYCHOTIC AND SAGAWA!!! [Slowly, almost dramatically, Psychotic turns around to come eye to eye with The Aokigahara Angel of Death, who to the surprise of nobody has procured a shiny metal object that he is wielding high over his head.] WATTERS: AND HE HAS A DOD-GAM FORK!!! CHANEY: SAGAWA charges with the fork! Backhand from Psychotic to the wrist sends the fork flying! Boot to the stomach from Psychotic, and now The Human Heart Attack reaches for his boot ... NOW HE HAS A FORK!!! WATTERS: That must be the fork he stole from SAGAWA at Showdown! Psychotic swings with the fork - NO!!!! CHANEY: RED MIST!!!! [The mouthful of crimson spew covers the face of the fork wielding Johnny Psychotic, who staggers back against the ropes and furiously reaches up to wipe the mist out of his eye. Meanwhile a vicious looking SAGAWA grabs at the neck of his black tank top with both hands and starts to tear it open amidst the uproarious cheers of the crowd.] CHANEY: SAGAWA-MANIA IS RUNNING WILD!!! WATTERS: WHAT IN THE BLUE HELL!!! [As the shirt is ripped open, SAGAWA reveals that he has a large patch of white athletic tape across his chest - holding near and dear to his heart ...] CHANEY: ANOTHER FORK!!!! [SAGAWA tears at the tape to free up the fork just in time as Johnny Psychotic also manages to get the red mist out of his eyes and comes charging across the ring towards The Kochi Cannibal.] CHANEY: Both of these sick sadistic competitors have forks aaaand ... Psychotic drives the fork right into the fleshy tissue of SAGAWA's forehead! [But the fork shot, while painful, only causes SAGAWA to let loose his banshee-like scream of frenzy as he swings forward with a fork to the forehead of The Human Heart Attack as well.] WATTERS: SAGAWA with a shot to Psychotic! CHANEY: But Johnny fires back with one of his own ... WATTERS: ... and so does SAGAWA!!! PSYCHOTIC! SAGAWA! PSYCHOTIC! SAGAWA! ... these two FREAKS are exchanging fork shots like most men exchange rights and lefts!!! [The giant screen in the arena flashes to life to show the pure horror on the face of Tiberius Nixon as he watches his charge to battle with his rival - fork shot for fork shot. With jaw agape, Nixon shakes his head back and forth violently as he looks around saying "This has got to stop" to anyone within ear shot.] WATTERS: And you can see on the split screen that Tiberius Nixon does not like this carnage at all as these two continue to throw forks at one another! CHANEY: This is pure chaos! We have an official checking on two competitors outside the guardrail. We have two men essentially stabbing one another in the ring. Bloody Sunday may not be coming until March 15th, but right here tonight - SAGAWA DUCKS! [Back in the ring, a mist and crimson covered Johnny Psychotic goes to drive the fork into the flesh of a bloody SAGAWA's forehead yet again - but this time The Madman from Japan is one step ahead of him and ducks the fork and slips around behind Psychotic. Turning on his heels, SAGAWA drives the bottom of his boot into the back of Johnny Psychotic's knees and brings him down a level into a kneeling position. Reaching down over Psychotic's shoulder, The Kochi Cannibal grabs Psychotics forks and balls both metal implements up in his own fist.] CHANEY: Um .. uh ... what is going on here? WATTERS: SAGAWA has both of those forks and he is pressing them down hard into the trapezius muscle of Johnny Psychotic. CHANEY: His shoulder. SAGAWA is for all intents and purposes digging the tips of those forks into the shoulder muscle of Johnny Psc- No! No! NO!!! [With the tines of both forks pressed firmly against the shoulder muscle of Johnny Psychotic, The Aokigahara Angel of Death balls up his other fist firmly and begins to hammer downward across the top end of the fork. The second of third shot measuring enough impact to break the skin of The Human Heart Attack.] CHANEY: This is _TOO MUCH_!!! WATTERS: Yeah ... I am right there with you!!! [Fist after fist SAGAWA continues to rain down upon the fork, a heavy trickle of blood pouring forth from where the fork has passed into Psychotic's flesh - before finally releasing his grip on the metal objects ... ... that remain embedded in the muscle and tissue of Johnny Psychotic's shoulder.] YOU SICK [BLEEP]! YOU SICK [BLEEP]! YOU SICK [BLEEP]! YOU SICK [BLEEP]! YOU SICK [BLEEP]! YOU SICK [BLEEP]! YOU SICK [BLEEP]! YOU SICK [BLEEP]! YOU SICK [BLEEP]! [The reaction of the crowd is almost a badge of honor as a barbaric SAGAWA takes a victory lap 'round the ring - basking in the reaction and nodding his head in agreement. Until his eyes fall upon the stunned visage of Tiberius Nixon watching on the giant screen.] CHANEY: Johnny Psychotic is just kneeling there in absolutely shock and SAGAWA just saw Nixon. Look at the eyes of SAGAWA! WATTERS: He is looking around for something .. and I think we know what that something is. [Suddenly SAGAWA points towards the middle section of The Fertitta Center, as the screen shows Nixon's face as he realizes SAGAWA has located him. Without warning, SAGAWA bails out through the ropes and starts to climb over the guardrail as inside the ring Psychotic reaches up and through gritted teeth he yanks the two forks out of his shoulder. As the metal is withdrawn from the flesh, a small, steady spurt of blood projects itself and pool on the canvas. While instinct would generally cause a normal man to seek aid, Johnny Psychotic is no normal man and rolls to the outside of the ring in pursuit of SAGAWA. But he is quickly swarmed by paramedics.] CHANEY: Psychotic was going after SAGAWA, but the paramedics got to him first as they are checking on that wound on his shoulder. WATTERS: This does _NOT_ hold well for Tiberius Nixon who appears to have disappeared from The Skybox. Which really is the smartest thing that he could have done. CHANEY: We said this at Showdown, and I will utter it again. This war between Psychotic and SAGAWA is not going to end until one of these men is as good as .. WATTERS: Yeah. You don't have to say it. I think we all realize that. Southwestern Championship Wrestling is _not_ big enough for both of these men. CHANEY: It needs to end. [But as SAGAWA disappears up the stairwell to the concourse and Johnny Psychotic fights with the paramedics trying to apply bandages to his shoulder - the attention of the fans goes back to the ring as a beaten Alfie Button rolls underneath the bottom rope and is soon joined by Referee Barry Snider.] CHANEY: Amidst all the chaos and the carnage, we have to remember we are in the middle of a match - a match that has apparently devolved into a one-on-one contest between Alfie Button and "The Celtic Crippler" Caleb Foley. [Alfie Button rolls onto his back and tries to regroup as on the outside of the ring, Caleb Foley collapses over the guardrail and back into the ringside area. Looking around the ring, Referee Barry Snider regains control by doing the only thing that he can .. he starts his count .. ] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! [Kneeling on the inside of the guardrail, Caleb Foley looks up towards the squared circle and nods his head to show he is fully away of his surroundings.] THREE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . FOUR! [Meanwhile at ringside, Johnny Psychotic decides that enough has been done with him, as his shoulder is fully wrapped in bandages and athletic tape - and he shoves the paramedics out of the way and collapses over the guardrail and into the crowd.] FIVE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . SIX! WATTERS: One competitor is trying to get back to the ring as fast as he can, meanwhile another one is trying to get as far away from the ring as possible. CHANEY: Who KNOWS what SAGAWA will do if he manages to get his hands on Nixon. WATTERS: My money is on murder. SEVEN! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . EIGHT! [Back to his feet, Johnny Psychotic starts to make his way up the stairwell towards the concourse as blood seeps through the bandages over his shoulder. His strides are staggered, having to use the handrail for support as he continues his mission.] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . NINE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [... and at the last possible second, Foley rolls into the ring and breaks the count. Lying flat back, he stares up at the lights just inches from Alfie Button who is doing much of the same. Shrugging his shoulders, Referee Barry Snider goes to start a different count ... ] ONE! [But almost in unison, both men Kip-Up to their feet and charge as they bypass each other mid-ring. Foley bounds off one strand while Button echoes the movement on the opposite side of the ring. As they approach one another again, this time Foley goes low and stops dead in his tracks while Button passes overhead with a leapfrog.] CHANEY: The speed of these two men is absolutely tremendous. Button with a leapfrog and rebounding off the strands as Foley drops to his back for a reverse roll. As he rolls backwards through, here comes Button with a front roll .. up and over Foley .. Foley now to his feet and spinning around as Button rolls backwards now and pins the head of The Celtic Crippler between his ankles. [Facing the canvas, Alfie Button uses his hand and forearm strength to begin to walk around in a circle, using Foley as the pivot point. After one or two full circles of the rings, Button tucks his arms to the side, before folding his body in half and sending Caleb sailing across the squared circle.] CHANEY: Satellite headscissors from Alfie Button .. but Foley rolls through with it and quickly scurries back to his feet. WATTERS: Foley now charging as Button lowers his head and Caleb up and over for a leapfro- NO! Button drops to his back, and hooks his legs under the arms of Foley. Sunset Flip! No! Caleb rolls through .. _ T H W A C K ! ! _ .. basement dropkick right to the mush! CHANEY: Holding his jaw, Button tries to roll to the outside .. but Foley cuts him off with a well placed elbow across the back and neck. WATTERS: Right back to where it all started, working that back and neck. Foley now scissors the forearm of Alfie Button between his legs while wrapping a forearm under the chin .. Crossface Submission! CHANEY: And you can _tell_ the impact that the beating has had on Alfie Button, as the pain is etched on the face of the Englishman. [A close-up shot shows the torque that Foley has, as he threatens to stretch Alfie Button in half - backwards. With outstretched arms, Button tries to reach the ropes.] CHANEY: Those ropes are just inches away. But every time Button stretches for them, Foley just pulls back that much more. [Realizing he has no other choice, Button pivots his hips and carries the momentum of Caleb Foley up and over in a cradle pin attempt. There is a brief hesitation before Referee Barry Snider realizes what is going down and drops for the count ... ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THR- WATTERS: Kickout by Button sends them right back to where it all started, as he is once again trapped in that Crossface Submission from Caleb Foley! Will you look at the tendons just stretching in the forearms of Foley as he yanks back on that neck with all of his might. Could we get a tap out? [With gritted teeth, Alfie Button tries to power his way towards the ropes before him. But realizing that The Celtic Crippler isn't going to give an inch that way, he slides his feet out to the side and manages to get a toe of his boot to break the plane of the bottom rope.] CHANEY: Savvy move from Alfie Button as Snider starts the count for the break ... ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIV- WATTERS: Foley held on to the very last second, adding a little extra exertion as he knew the inevitable break was right around the corner! [As Caleb Foley throws his arms up in the air to show that he has broken the hold, Alfie Button uses his hands and knees to scurry backwards to the floor. But Foley senses what is happening, and as Button's feet hit the floor, the foot of The Irishman comes through the lower two ropes and strikes him right upside the head.] CHANEY: Foley staying right on top of his opponent. Button now on the floor trying to gather his wits as Caleb Foley runs the ropes and dives through the bottom rope with a LOW-PE - _ S M A C K ! ! ! _ ... SUPERKICK FROM BUTTON BRINGS IT TO A HAULT! [The head of Caleb Foley snaps backwards as he dives through the ropes and connects head first with the sole of Alfie Button's foot. As Foley collapses to the floor of the arena, Alfie Button does the same in an attempt to regain some composure. Meanwhile a familiar voice rings over the loud speaker of The Fertitta Center as the video wall snaps to life and Johnny Psychotic can be seen in pursuit of SAGAWA, calling out his name in a frenzy.] WATTERS: I almost forgot that we had a fight going on elsewhere in the building! [The camera fades away to the concourse of the building as Johnny Psychotic has managed to catch up with SAGAWA and nails him from behind with a double axehandle that causes The Kochi Cannibal to crash face first into a merchandise table.] CHANEY: You didn't actually think that the battle between these two was going to end once they were out of eye-sight did you? The animosity between these two is at such a high level- Oooh! Psychotic with a boot to the ribs, double forearm to the back, and now with a handful of ponytail he slams the face of SAGAWA into the edge of the table once more! WATTERS: The Aokigahara Angel of Death collapsing back onto the cold tile floor of the concourse here in Houston as Johnny Psychotic now grabbing a white tee off of the merchandise stand - and what does he have in mind? [Unfolding the tee shirt to cover his hand, Johnny Psychotic looks around at the small crowd that has amassed to watch their battle before dropping to his knees and placing the tee shirt right over the blood stained face of The Madman from Japan with a modified version of The Iron Claw] CHANEY: Psychotic with a claw on SAGA- WATTERS: A claw? He is using that tee shirt to try to smother SAGAWA, that is what he is doing right now! He is trying to block the air passage of The Kochi Cannibal and there is no referee around to stop them! CHANEY: There is no referee, because Barry Snider is here in the ring registering a count on Foley and Button who are fighting their way back to their feet! [A split screen shot brings some of the focus back to the arena as Foley and Button have slowly gotten back to their feet, Referee Barry Snider throwing up 7 fingers to show just how dangerously close to a count-out they have drawn. But as Foley rests his open palms on the ring apron to steady himself, Alfie Button passes behind him towards the ringpost and comes swinging through with both feet connected straight with the face of The Celtic Crippler.] CHANEY: RINGPOST ASSISTED TIGER FEINT KICK FROM BUTTON!!! WATTERS: Button quickly scoops the stunned Foley and and rolls him in the ring, following in for a cover ... ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE! CHANEY: NOOOOO! Foley kicks out! [Meanwhile on the opposite side of the screen, Johnny Psychotic is driving a closed fist into the face of a security guard that tried to interfere with his mauling of SAGAWA. The deliberate shot is accentuated by a knuckle. Behind him however, SAGAWA throws the white tee shirt that was once covering his face aside and to the floor, a clear imprint of his bloody visage now staining the once pure material.] WATTERS: For our first night out on the road, this has to be one of the most wild and unpredictable Main Events that we have had in the short life of SCW. Fighting in the ring. Fighting on the main level. It is just pure chao- _ C R R A A A A A A C K ! ! ! _ [The sound of breaking wood comes as SAGAWA tries to get back up to his feet, only to be scooped up by Johnny Psychotic and slammed down through the merchandise table - breaking it in half and causing a small rousing cheer of "SCW!" from the fans nearby as we return to a single screen shot of the contest in the arena.] CHANEY: SAGAWA put through a table! Meanwhile back in the ring, Alfie Button has taken control of this match-up once again as he lays The Celtic Crippler out in the middle of the ring with a very nice looking swinging neckbreaker. WATTERS: It is anybodies game here tonight as Button now to the outside and he starts to ascend the ropes. CHANEY: Alfie Button definitely as an A+ Flying game, so he could have anything up his sleeve. Could it be a Shooting Star Press, could be a Phoenix Splash, could be a ... WATTERS: SOMERSAULT SENTON! CHANEY: KNEES UP!!! [The back of Alfie Button bends at an uncomfortable angle as the base of his spine connects with the bent knees of Caleb Foley. As he sits right up though, drawing his arms to the back, Foley hooks up both arms in a scissors and rolls him backwards.] CHANEY: CRUCIFIX PIN BY FOLEY!!! SNIDER DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE! CHANEY: FOOT ON THE ROPES!!!! [The jack-knifed body of Alfie Button flops over just enough for the tip of his toe to once again come in contact with the bottom rope and cause the observant referee to stop his count.] CHANEY: Great call by the referee - but Caleb Foley does not look happy! [Sitting up following the pin attempt, Caleb Foley stares back at the official with a look of pure disbelief on his face and holds up three fingers in protest. The referee shakes his head to the negative, but Referee Barry Snider holds his ground.] WATTERS: Foley is not happy with that, as he grabs a handful of Alfie Button's hair and starts to pull him back to a his feet. The Celtic Crippler locking in a front chancery and tossing an arm overhead. CHANEY: Suplex attempt maybe? Foley goes for the lift - blocked by Button! He tries again .. blocked again! WATTERS: Foley brings a knee up into the gut of The Top Contender, and that seems to be enough as he hoists him up high for a vertical supleeeeeeeeex .. he twists .. FALCON ARROW!!! Foley reaches for the leg ... ONE! ... NO! Button kicks out almost instinctively, and Foley does not like that. [Grabbing the ropes for assistance, Foley quickly yanks his way back to his feet and leaps into the air with a well placed knee that connects right between the eyes of Alfie Button. Button's hands quickly raise to cover his face as he lets out a pained gasp, and The Irishman turns his attention towards the corner.] WATTERS: I hate when I used to get hit in the nose! So much can go wrong. It can have an effect on your breathing. It could mess with your vision as your eyes tear up. And Foley now leaping over the downed body of Alfie Button as he goes for a headstand in the corner. CHANEY: This can mean only one thing. The tuck. Split Legged Moonsault. DUBLIN DELIVERY!!! He hooks the leg! ONE! ... AND BUTTON KICKS OUT AGAIN! WATTERS: Every single time Alfie Button kicks out, Caleb Foley gets more and more irate. You can just seem him going red-faced as Button isn't even to his feet and he is being violently yanked to the center of the ring by his locks. [Spewing venom under his breath, The Celtic Crippler yanks Alfie Button towards the center of the ring and tucks Alfie's head between his legs. Doubling over, Foley applies a waistlock and hoists him up into the air for a ... ] CHANEY: SIT OUT POWERBOMB! He holds for a piiiii- BUTTON KICKS OUT! [The crowd goes absolutely bonkers as Button kicks out before a one count can even be registered, but their joy is not echoed by a frustrated Caleb Foley - as he kneels beside the body of Alfie Button and begins to drive deliberate fists down into the head, cheek, and jaw of his downed opponent.] CHANEY: Will you listen to those shots connect? I don't know if Button _wants_ to kick out, but you can tell that it is just getting deeper and deeper under the skin of Caleb Foley. Is he playing a bit of mindgames? WATTERS: At the risk of his own physical well-being? CHANEY: He isn't The Top Contender for nothing. He has heart. He has drive. He has determination. WATTERS: He jumped onto a ladder and grabbed a damn clipboard. Say what you will, but the best man doesn't always win the fight. CHANEY: I am sure that Caleb Foley would agree with you. [Standing over the ballistic Caleb Foley, Referee Barry Snider tries to warn Foley about the use of a closed fist - but he is having none of it. Finally Snider does the only thing that he can think of and hooks the right hand of Foley before it comes down into the face of Button again.] CHANEY: Referee Barry Snider physically interjecting himself because Foley is paying no mind to the rules. [And that momentary lack of focus caused by the official is all the time that Alfie Button needs as he rolls backwards and to his feet. No sooner do the soles of his boots touch the canvas, than he leaps forward with a charging knee to the side of the Foley's head.] CHANEY: HUGE KNEE FROM BUTTON! FOLEY IS DOWN! WATTERS: Thanks to that damned biased referee who is down for the count ... ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRE- [Before the official's hand can strike the canvas for a third time, a stunned and staggered Caleb Foley raises one arm into the air just enough to roll a shoulder from the canvas. Not wasting any time, Alfie Button rolls out through the ropes and to the apron of the ring.] CHANEY: Button to the outside! He has his hands on the top - SLINGSHOT CORKSCREW PLANCHA!!! THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!!! WATTERS: What a 1-2-Combo! COVER!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! WATTERS: And with grit and determination, this time Caleb Foley kicks out sooner than he should have! CHANEY: He is trying to match the will, desire, and pure intestinal fortitude of Alfie Button who seems unfazed by it. Button back to his feet ... Foley back to his feet ... They go head to head!!! [Pressing forehead against forehead, the two battle tested competitors lock eyes and try to overpower one another without the use of fists. Suddenly though, the face of Caleb Foley upturns into a little bit of a smirk before he retreats for a half a step and then charges forward with a headbutt right between the eyes.] CHANEY: OOOOOMPH! What a dull and disgusting thud! WATTERS: But I think that took just as much out of Foley as it did Button! [Both man stand in the center of the ring on rubbery legs, trying to regain their composure before Button charges towards Foley. Foley instinctively throws out an arm for a clothesline, that Button ducks underneath.] CHANEY: Button to the ropes .. he leaps up to the second strand .. reverses direction .. THE RED BUTTON!!! NO!!! FOLEY DUCKS!!! WATTERS: If he had hit that .. wait .. Foley wasting no time as he leaps forward into a hand spring! BACK-HANDSPRING FROM FOLEY! AIR DUBL- [As Foley's back rebounds off the ropes, Alfie Button lowers his shoulder and catches The Celtic Crippler in the small of the back before standing upright in a backdrop attempt. Using his nimble reflexes, Foley flips through and lands on his feet as the capacity crowd in The Fertitta Center take to their feet.] CHANEY: Both men trading finisher attempts as Button charges the ropes one more tim- SAGAWA!!! [But the heads of the fans snap around as up in the stairwell of the arena, SAGAWA mounts himself on one of the handrails and comes sailing through the air with both knees aimed directly at the chest of Johnny Psychotic who stands on the stairs.] CHANEY: METEORA ON THE STAIRS!!! [SAGAWA's flight towards Johnny Psychotic captures the attentions of everybody in the arena as flashbulbs explode. Meanwhile back in the ring a stunned Alfie Button and Referee Barry Snider exchange a shocked look as well.] S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! S C W ! [The double knee shot drives Psychotic violently into the stairs as both men start to roll back down towards the main floor, their bodies both connecting awkwardly with the concrete floor of The Fertitta Center.] WATTERS: That man will risk life and limb to win and to dazzle these loyal fans of Southwestern Championship Wrestling! CHANEY: But it looks like they are heading back to the ri- OHHH! [With Button and Snider watching the antics of SAGAWA and Psychotic, Caleb Foley sneaks up from behind and deliberately drives the toe of his boot into the groin of Alfie Button with a well placed kick. As Button doubles over, Foley attempts a schoolboy roll-up.] CHANEY: SCHOOOL-BOY FROM FOLEY!!! SNIDER DIDN'T SEE THE KICK!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Foley grabs a handful of Button's tights to gain some added leverage, cranking so much on the waistband that part of Alfie's backside is exposed.] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . [Using ring awareness and noticing the official's focus on the shoulders, Foley swings his body just enough to place both feet on the top rope for added leverage.] . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE! [DING! DING! DING!] [As Referee Barry Snider leaps to his knees to ring for the bell, Caleb Foley bails to the outside of the ring and throws his arms up in victory as he locks arrogant eyes with a stunned and baffled Alfie Button.] WATTERS: Caleb Foley has won it! By hook or by crook - CHANEY: BY CROOK! Low blow. Tight pulling. Feet on the ropes! He is anything but deserving of that win for his team! WATTERS: It is like they always say, if the official didn't see it. It's all legal. [Smirking at ringside, "The Celtic Crippler" Caleb Foley thumbs himself in the chest as he screams something at Alfie Button about being the REAL Top Contender - before motioning to Referee Barry Snider to do his job and raise his hand.] BUFFINGTON: Your winners of this contest as the result of a pinfall. The team of "THE CELTIC CRIPPLER" CALEB FOLEY AND "THE HUMAN HEART ATTACK" JOHNNY PSYCHOTIC!!! [As the words leave the mouth of Aaron Buffinton, Caleb Foley yanks his arm away from the official and starts his retreat towards the locker room area as a still shocked Alfie Button watches on from a seated position in the ring.] WATTERS: Hats off to Caleb Foley for capitalizing on a distraction caused by well .. two men that quite frankly should have been in the ring. Think about it. If SAGAWA didn't run off in search of Tiberius Nixon, he would have been there to break up the count. CHANEY: Sure, blame it all on SAGAWA. WATTERS: I aaaaa- LOOK OUT!!!! [The camera having shifted its focus to the broadcasters at ringside, Eric Chaney and Larry Watters dive out of the way just in time as the body of The Kochi Cannibal comes sailing over the guardrail and bounces off the broadcast table - courtesy of a monstrous beil throw from Johnny Psychotic.] CHANEY: The match is over. But these two aren't done fighting. Will these two EVER stop fighting? [SAGAWA rolls around on the floor of The Fertitta Center as a prideful Johnny Psychotic climbs the rail and steps atop the announcer's table and raises both fists in the air in celebration of his beating of SAGAWA, and his teams victory. Finally, turning his gaze down towards Aaron Buffington, Psychotic holds a hand out demanding the microphone.] CHANEY: Psychotic has something to say. [Leaping down from the table, Johnny Psychotic lifts up the ring apron and pulls out a small pile of steel folding chairs and deliberately begins to toss each of them into the ring. As the final chair bounces off the canvas, Psychotic pulls out a large and heavy looking burlap sack and slides it under the bottom rope. Pausing for a moment over the fallen body of SAGAWA, he leans down and utters a very clear message.] PSYCHOTIC: TONIGHT .. I .. END .. YOU!!! CHANEY: Woah! WATTERS: Yeah. I don't like the sound of that. [Rolling under the bottom rope, Psychotic gets back to his feet and reaches up to wipe some of the blood that has caked on his face thanks to the earlier forked exchange with The Aokigahara Angel of Death. Then with slow strides he starts to open up folding chairs, a half dozen of them and place them seat to seat in the dead center of the ring.] CHANEY: I am not liking the looks of this at all. Psychotic making a steel table for lack of a better term out of those folding chairs. [Meanwhile at ringside, a battered and beating SAGAWA rolls under the bottom rope - unaware of what fresh hell awaits at the hands of The Human Heart Attack.] WATTERS: Earlier tonight Psychotic said he was ready for SAGAWA, and I would be hard pressed to disagree, as Johnny grabs that ponytail and pulls SAGAWA up onto those steel chairs. [The confidence etched on the face of Johnny Psychotic is quite disturbing, reminiscent of the look on his face in the final moments of their brutal cage match a few months ago. Pulling SAGAWA to his feet, and deliberately places the head of SAGAWA between his knees and bends over to apply a waistlock.] CHANEY: Is he going to piledrive SAGAWA through the chairs? WATTERS: That would certainly end things. [With a loud grunt of exertion, Psychotic goes for a lift, but at the last possible moment SAGAWA turns his head to the side and digs his teeth into the inner thigh of The Human Heart Attack - causing an inhuman scream to be forced from his lungs.] CHANEY: SAGAWA IS BITING THE THIGH OF JOHNNY PSYCHOTIC!!! SAGAWA WITH A BACKDROP OFF THE CHAIRS!!! [The crowd explodes with cheers as SAGAWA shows more fire, turning around on the chairs and putting his focus on Psychotic as he charges forward and leaps into the air with another Meteora. This time the knees connecting with the chest of Psychotic drives him backwards, and into the turnbuckles.] CHANEY: SAGAWA LIVES! SAGAWA LIVES!!! WATTERS: And now Johnny Psychotic is in the Lions Den with the most bloodthirsty creature this sport of professional wrestling has seen in quite some time. _ C L A N K ! ! ! _ _ C L A N K ! ! ! _ _ C L A N K ! ! ! _ [The sound of steel colliding with steel fills the building, as The Madman from Japan turns his focus towards the chairs that Psychotic setup and turns them so that they are back to back in the dead center of the ring.] CHANEY: What the hell is he thinking? WATTERS: I will take questions that I never want to know the answer to for $1000 Alex. CHANEY: What? WATTERS: Jeopardy. And that is exactly where Johnny Psychotic appears to be as The Kochi Cannibal applies a waistlock and sets him straddling the top turnbuckle. [As SAGAWA starts to climb to the second rope, a ringside Alfie Button looks on with concern - his gaze darting back and forth between what is happening in the ring and the aisle where he is hoping and praying for some sort of intervention.] CHANEY: You can see the concern etched on the face of Alfie Button, who has developed a weird bond with SAGAWA over the past few weeks. [But SAGAWA continues on his mission as he climbs to the top rope and locks a front chancery on the head of his adversary. Draping an arm around his neck, SAGAWA grabs a handful of tights and tries to lift. But Psychotic reaches down with his free arm and grasps at the buckle to prevent whatever it is SAGAWA has in mind.] WATTERS: It looks like SAGAWA was trying for a superplex into the ring. You can only begin to imagine the damage a shot like would do. The could end a caree- Psychotic with a fist to the stomach! CHANEY: Fighting back is probably the only thing keeping Psychotic from a career ending injur- NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! [The shot to the stomach is all it takes for The Human Heart Attack to regain control of the war, as he quickly hooks the tights of SAGAWA and lifts him high into the air - in vertical suplex position.] CHANEY: HE IS GOING TO SUPLEX SAGAWA TO THE FLOOR!!! WATTERS: THE HELL HE IS!!! [Showing off tremendous control as he hoists SAGAWA up into suplex position, Johnny Psychotic places a foot on the top rope and pushes off ... as he twists his body through the air ... ... towards the steel chairs in the ring ... __ C L A N K ! ! ! __ __ T H U D ! ! ! __ __ C L U N K ! ! ! __ CHANEY: TWISTING PSYCHO-PLEX INTO THE SPINES OF THOSE STEEL CHAAAAAAAAIRS!!!! [And almost instantly, an uncomfortable silence sweeps over The Fertitta Center. A silence that has accompanied many a moment in the war between Johnny Psychotic and SAGAWA as they have raged their war in The Lonestar State.] CHANEY: My God. We have used the line that these two men are trying to end one another as a way to hype this rivalry. But that .. right there .. there is no other reason that you would do that to another human being. [SAGAWA writhes around on the canvas, letting out high pitch screams as he clutches at his lower back. Concerned, Alfie Button dives under the bottom rope and pushes the chairs out of the way as the curtains at the end of the aisle part and Tiberius Nixon along with a flood of paramedics and security charge towards the ring.] CHANEY: We want to thank you for joining us tonight. I can only assume that we will keep you updated on the condition of SAGAWA. But for now this is Eric Chaney and Larry Watters signing of- [But a thumping hits the PA system one more time, as the camera pans back up to the cold gaze of Johnny Psychotic. As he raises the microphone to his lips, he charges forward with a boot upside the head of Alfie Button that knocks him through the ropes and to the floor.] PSYCHOTIC: THIS .. IS .. NOT .. OVER .. YET [A collective gasp fills the air, as Psychotic picks up one of the mangled steel chairs and uses it as a weapon to fend off anyone that tries to get into the ring. Realizing that it is a fruitless battle, they back off .. waiting .. as Tiberius Nixon pleads from ringside to top what he is doing. Psychotic looks back and merely shakes his head as he reaches for the burlap sack. At ringside, the assembled masses, like all of the fans in the arena and at home watch on with anticipation. Undoing the tie, he dips a hand into the bag, and withdraws a bright red plastic bottle with a bright yellow spout on it. Before realization can even start to set in, Psychotic turns, tips the bottle, and begins to shake the liquid contents of it all over the twitching body of SAGAWA.] WATTERS: NO EFFIN WAY! I would know that smell anywhere! That ... is GASOLINE!!! [The final words of Larry Watters are cut off though as the locker room unloads, and The Brother's Grimm, Luscious Jasmine, Gemini, and a host of other talent flood down the aisle. Back in the ring though, Johnny Psychotic digs into his boot and pulls out a Zippo Lighter, which he sets ablaze. As he gazes down over the gasoline soaked body of his greatest adversary of all time, nearly 30 bodies dive into the ring ... ... some tackling Psychotic ... ... some yanking SAGAWA from the squared circle ... ... as we Fade to Black. [The screen goes totally dark.] © 2020 RSE, Inc. LEAGUE WEBSITE: http://www.scw.fwrestling.com/ LEAGUE FORUM: http://scw2019.freeforums.net/ LEAGUE TWITTER: @official_scw
