[The screen is black as the beginning notes of "Legendary" by Skillet begin to be heard.] [As the melody begins to be heard, we see the SCW letters flash across the screen in brilliant burnt orange letters.] #Legendary. OHHHHHHHH!!!# [The music continues as the word "RAMPAGE" superimposes in white letters over the burnt orange SCW letters.] #Legendary. OHHHHHHHH!!!# [The guitar riffs kick in as the logo breaks into flame in the center and burns toward the outer edges of the screen like Bonanza's old theme.] #OHHHHHHHH!!! Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh# [The moment the lead singer's first "OH" is heard, the flames dissipate and allow us to see a the screen split into a pair of pictures. The first is Pat Gordon Jr. standing on the turnbuckles in the corner on the left, while the right picture is Caleb Foley standing in the center of the ring holding a finger out to point at the fans.] #OHHHHHHHH!!! Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh# [The screen switches to show Windham Brody stepping over the top rope.] #My heart bleeds adrenaline# #The fire I breathe is where I live# [The screen shows a vid cap of Bam Markham pounding his fist into his chest.] #(Say my name) Incredible# #(Say my name) An animal# [Switch to show vid cap of Chris Smith clotheslining an opponent and then raising his arms in triumph.] #One life to live# #I never give up, I never give in# [The screen switches to show all four brothers of the Rich Family walking down the aisle and greeting fans, only to switch to El Gringo Loco and Las Preguntas standing in the ring taunting ringside fans.] #Some people wanna turn and run# #But the strong rise under the gun# [Screen shows Tripp Skylark leaping off the top turnbuckle and high into the air toward the outside of the ring before it dissolves into the next vid cap.] #Top, to the top# #Ain't never gonna stop# [Video cap of Chase Williams grabbing hold of a wrestler and crashing him to the canvas with a choke slam.] #To the top, to the top# #Ain't never gonna stop# [Quick vid cap of Alfie Button kipping up in a match.] #Never gonna keep me down (never keep me)# [A few quick pictures are quickly seen of Gazi, Steve Dann, Michael Wilson, and Johnny Psychotic.] #Still the one that's standing now (never falling)# [Vid Cap of Pat Gordon Jr locking on the "Pat Lock" submission hold.] #Destiny is calling me# #Go down in history# #Every day I'll fight to be# [The vid cap shows Alfie Button poised on the top rope and leaping into the air for a 720 DDT on his opponent. He hits and jumps up right as the title words are sung.] #Legendary# [Vid cap of Johnny Psychotic landing his top rope superplex finisher.] #OHHHHHHHH!!! Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh# [Pictures of the Health Fanatics, Prague Drinking Team, Sweaty Bling and The Maniacs are seen quickly.] #OHHHHHHHH!!! Oh oh oh, oh oh oh, oh oh oh# [The screen shows the vid cap of Windham Brody standing stoic and brooding. He reaches out his hand and the screen goes dark.] #Legendary# #OHHHHHHHH!!!!# [As the driving music continues the screen explodes into a million pieces and reveals the SCW Arena with the ring in the center of the view. The crowd is sparse in the upper regions, but the ringside seats are jam packed as we see them cheering loudly and hear the sounds of enthusiasm as our host announce team begins to speak.] CHANEY: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN WELCOME TO SCW RAMPAGE!!! I'm Eric Chaney and with me, as always, is wrestling legend Larry "The Crusher" Watters. WATTERS: Hey all! [The screen fades form the view of the ringside fans to the announce table at ringside where our announcers will call the action. Chaney is wearing a burnt orange "SCW" polo shirt and has his dark hair slicked back, looking as "GQ" as humanly possible. While next to him, Larry is wearing his usual denim shirt and trademark scowl, which even with his grey beard is unmistakable as a man who attempts to stay unhappy most of the time.] CHANEY: Fans, tonight is a night that is full of action and we are excited to be here live from The Phoenix Arena in Dallas, Texas! WATTERS: The hub of the wrestling universe! [Cue the music as 'Goin' Out West' by Queens of the Stone Age begins to play.] #Well I'm goin' out west# #Where the wind blows tall# #'Cause Tony Franciosa# #Used to date my ma# #They got some money out there# #They're giving it away# #I'm gonna do what I want# #Do what I want# #And I'm gonna get paid# [Standing at the top of the stage, head tilted, cowboy hat in tow, the Texan tips his hat to the people who have always loved him, no matter whether he is a hero or a villain in other parts.] CHANEY: And here we go as it looks like the commissioner wants to speak! WATTERS: Well, he runs the place. So he gets to do what he wants. [But, right on cue...The WRIGHT time....The WRIGHT place....Finally, Hank Wright returns to Texas.] #Little brown sausages# #Lying in the sand# #I ain't no extra baby# #I'm a leading man# [Wright waits for the chants of 'HANK, HANK, HANK' to die down before he carefully removes his hat and throws it right off the stage, giving someone a memory from the first-ever Rampage that they'll never forget or at least a little bit of income by shifting it on eBay. He begins sauntering toward the ring.] WRIGHT: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my honor to welcome you to SOUTHWESTERN CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING!!! [The crowd pops. Hank waits for the cheers to die down.] WRIGHT: Now, in case anybody out there missed the announcement, we've got an exciting lineup for you tonight, because, in addition to the continuation of the Lonestar Heavyweight Championship tournament, we're going to have a Lonestar Tag Team Title defense tonight! That's right, no more juking and jiving and weaseling out of matches. Las Preguntas are putting those belts on the line, TONIGHT, or they'll be stripped of the titles! CHANEY: Wow! Well, Hank Wright put out the announcement two weeks ago, and it looks like he's sticking to it, tonight! WATTERS: Is Duda even cleared to wrestle yet, Chaney? CHANEY: It doesn't matter! You heard the Commissioner! [The crowd loves this announcement. Someone in the locker room isn't too happy, however. El Gringo Loco pushes Duda in a wheelchair in front of him, this time in a full body cast. Marca follows behind, carrying a microphone.] CHANEY: I can't believe it... WATTERS: I know! He's gotten worse! CHANEY: You can't really believe that, can you, Crusher? WATTERS: I mean, just look at him. The poor boy's in a full body cast! CHANEY: But Crusher, he was nowhere near this bad a month ago, even two weeks ago. WATTERS: You know how it is, Chaney. It's like working on a car. Sometimes you get in there and find out things are worse than you first thought. EGL: Lo siento. Lo siento, Hank, pero... No. As you can clearly see, poor Duda, el no esta en condiciones de luchar. There is simply no way Las Preguntas can defend the tag team titles tonight... WRIGHT: Nonsense, E.G.L. Sorry... DON Loco. I'll tell you what I'll do. Since you and I go so far back... [EGL gets a hopeful look on his face.] WRIGHT: Tonight, and just for tonight, I'll let you find a replacement for Duda! CHANEY: I'll bet El Gringo Loco didn't see that one coming! WATTERS: Well, it's hardly fair. Force Marca to defend the titles without his regular partner against two guys who have known each other their whole lives? Come on, Chaney! EGL: Pero, Hank... As you are well aware, Article III, subsection sixteen of the SCW rules and regulations clearly states that the Lonestar Tag Team Championship must be defended by both - WRIGHT: Let me stop you right there, my old 'amigo.' You don't need to quote the rulebook to me. I know exactly what it says. Now, you may have all the connections down in Mexico, but this isn't Mexico. This is Texas. You're in MY backyard. I'm the law around here. So unless you want to lose those belts... EGL: Hank, mi viejo amigo, por favor... WRIGHT: Listen here, you old goat. I don't care who comes out: If it's Duda, Marca, you or your favorite horse from Dos Aguas...You're defending the tag team titles tonight! ['Goin out West' by Queens of the Stoneage plays again as El Gringo Loco takes his team to the back, cursing under his breath. Alternatively, Hank Wright is as happy as a clam at high tide.] CHANEY: Well, El Gringo Loco doesn't seem too happy with the way these events turned out! WATTERS: Can you blame him, Chaney? Marca has to go in there with who knows who as his tag team partner, possibly all by himself, to defend the Lonestar Tag Team Titles against the Rich Family in their backyard. The odds are stacked against them! Who would be happy with that situation? CHANEY: Heavy is the head that wears the crown, Crusher.
[Backstage, the feed finds the ever-dilligent interviewer known as The Informer sporting a goofy grin and glazed-over look in his eyes. This, of course, can only mean one person is about to enter the frame - and sure enough, not a moment later, Alexandra Darlington (commonly Lexi) is seen approaching the interviewing station, her two associates in tow. Agents Lincoln and Washington are their usual silent, scowling selves as they take up their positions behind Lexi, but Darlington herself is the picture of Southern charm as she trills.] LEXI DARLINGTON: Why, Mr. Informer! Such a pleasure to see you! [The Informer is, as ever, reduced to little more than a babbling mess as he barely ekes out.] THE INFORMER: L-likewise, Miss Darlington. [Lexi, however, appears to take no notice of the interviewer's altered state - or perhaps she does, and that is precisely what leads her to treat him to her very best pearly-white smile as she asks.] LEXI DARLINGTON: Mind if I say a few words to our fine upstandin' audience? [The Informer seems content enough not to have to actually reply with words, and merely shakes his head as he steps out of the way and turns the microphone over to Darlington. Once at centre-stage, the brunette wastes no time getting to her point, bluntly stating.] LEXI DARLINGTON: Those of you who tuned into Rampage #3 will all be aware of the HORRIFIC THREAT I faced on the night! Two MASKED TERRORISTS and a LONE GUNMAN made myself and Agents Lincoln and Washington here into TARGETS for their HATE CRIMES AGAINST AMERICA!! [Lexi's lip quivers slightly, and she takes a moment to ensure she keeps her composure before continuing.] LEXI DARLINGTON: Something MUST be done. These man canNOT be allowed to continue spreading TERROR and HATE and ANTI-AMERICAN SENTIMENT and going unpunished! [The brunette turns to her two acolytes, her expression and tone shifting from horror to relief.] LEXI DARLINGTON: Fortunately, two American HEROES are at hand to ensure this kind of people does not succeed in perverting and destroying the American way! These two men showed what they were worth last week, and tonight, they will be showing two ILLEGAL REFUGEES from FAIRYLAND just what we God-fearing, red-blooded Americans think of THEIR kind! [Here, one of the agents cuts in for the first time, in what appears to be an almost off- the-cuff remark.] AGENT LINCOLN: Yeah...they're a coupl'a *fairies*, all right! [Lexi, however, either does not notice or chooses to ignore this comment - as well as the sniggers it induces in the two men - and plows steadily ahead towards the end of her speech.] LEXI DARLINGTON: So if you, too, stand for good, clean, all-American wrestling, without interference from MASKED TERRORISTS and ENEMIES OF THE STATE...please. Join me. Join US. And together...let's make wrestling great again. [With that, and a brief 'Thank you', Lexi hands the microphone back to The Informer and, gesturing for her two associates to follow her, promptly makes her way out of frame, leaving the somewhat shaken backstage reporter to throw the feed back to ringside...]
[We return the view to the ringside announcers, who are ready to go.] CHANEY: Lexi Darlington again touting things that make me cringe, Larry. WATTERS: Why? The lady is speaking her mind and that is what America is all about. CHANEY: There is something to be said for good sense, though. WATTERS: Perhaps, but she knows what she is talking about as this industry needs cleaned up and she has the guys that are able to do just that! CHANEY: Spoken like a true believer, Larry. WATTERS: No Chaney, spoken like somebody who has been around a LONG time! CHANEY: Fans, it is time for the first match of the night as Gazi does battle with "Big Kid" Chris Smith in a Group B match. WATTERS: Gazi has been overly quiet in SCW thus far, but Smith has been dealing with a lot. There is a conspiracy against him in many ways. CHANEY: In what way? WATTERS: Kid Chameleon, for one. CHANEY: Kid hasn't been seen anywhere since he popped up last time. WATTERS: And what did he do when he popped up last time? CHANEY: He had some issues with Smith. WATTERS: Exactly. If that masked moron shows up tonight, I hope Smith squashes him like a bug! CHANEY: Well he better keep his eye on Gazi or he could find himself with another tournament loss! WATTERS: Keep Chameleon away and I guarantee Smith wins this one. CHANEY: Well let's find out! It is time to head to the ring and get the action started! Take it away!
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]
[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, this opening match is in Group B of the Lonestar Title Tournament and is set for one fall and has a fifteen-minute time limit! Introducing first, weighing in at a hundred and seventy-five pounds. Hailing from Stoke-on-Trent, England...here is.... G A Z I ! ! ! [A generous dance beat, almost techno in sound, begins to play as Gazu steps out from behidn the curtain to a modest amount of cheers. He walks down the ring and every so often will act like he will high five one of the male fans only to pull his hand back as if too cool to touch them. He does high five a few ladies along the way though. Gazi slides into the ring and raises his arms to salute the crowd as the techno music comes to an end.] CHANEY: Here's Gazi out for another shot in the tournament. WATTERS: Well if he performs like last time out, his chances end tonight as he couldn't catch those who already have victories. CHANEY: Gazi isn't someone to sleep on, Larry. WATTERS: I doubt Smith worries about anybody but the kids. [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent, hailing from the nearest playground and weighign in at just under four hundred pounds....here is.... "B I G K I D" C H R I S S M I T H ! ! ! [Alice Cooper's "School's Out" blares out over our speakers in the SCW Arena and 'Big Kid' Chris Smith, sporting a throwback vest to the days of Big Daddy in Britain, hops and skips his way down the aisle, applauding the audience, who do not return the favor. 6'6 and weighing close to 400lbs, it isn't a pretty, athletic or convincing sight to see Smith hop down the aisle, but he's deceptively fit.] CHANEY: Right let's get this match underway. It's the opening match of the night and it is a Group B match in the tournament for the Lonestar Championship. WATTERS: You know the ring announcer just told everyone that, right? CHANEY: Sure I do but I was just reiterating it for the fans tuning in to watch. WATTERS: That's a big word. Reiterating? CHANEY: You've never heard it before? One day I'll tell you what it means. The referee has called for the bell. WATTERS: Hey it's that Steve Anderson dude again. [DING! DING!] CHANEY: No messing about to start the match. Smith hoists Gazi up and drills him with a Samoan Drop. WATTERS: That must have knocked the wind right outta the English fella. Smith's a big lad. CHANEY He is. That is true. WATTERS: Hold on - how come Chris Smith isn't from England with that surname? CHANEY: Who's to say he isn't? He's announced as from the Playground. They have those things in the United Kingdom you know. WATTERS: A rather large man hanging around a Playground? Hmm. Doesn't that strike you as odd? CHANEY: Hmm. Maybe. Let's get back to the match. Smith has dragged Gazi to his feet and drops him across the top rope with a guillotine drop. The crowd seemed to like that. WATTERS: Smith drags Gazi up again and whips him into the ropes, but Gazi reverses it and catches him with a kick. CHANEY: And a back heel kick. WATTERS: And a backflip kick followed by a roundhouse kick. Is this guy some sort of ninja? CHANEY: I think he has what they call “educated feet”. WATTERS: They crowd are now cheering him. What a fickle bunch. CHANEY: Gazi whips Smith into the turnbuckle and follows him into the corner, but Smith lifts his leg. Catching the smaller man right on the chin and causing him to stagger backward. WATTERS: Smith lays in a couple of vicious chops and sends Gazi into the middle of the ring. He gets behind him and goes for a German suplex, but Gazi blocks it. CHANEY: Gazi takes Smith down with a roundhouse kick. He runs into the ropes but Smith is waiting and goes for a clothesline. He misses. WATTERS: Gazi bounces off the opposite ropes. CHANEY: Big shoulderblock but Smith doesn't go down. WATTERS: Wait. That wasn't a kick! CHANEY: True. Gazi charges at Smith but gets hoisted up into his second Samoan Drop of the evening. WATTERS: Smith follows it up with a kneedrop on Gazi. And the crowd are cheering. Sheesh - make your minds up. CHANEY: Smith pulls Gazi to his feet and follows an armbreaker with another guillotine drop onto the top rope. WATTERS: Smith rolls Gazi up and goes for the pin. Steve Anderson is there to make the count. ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRRE......................................KICKOUT!!! CHANEY: Smith nearly had him then - and now he's annoyed. He takes Gazi down again with a butterfly suplex. Second pinfall attempt. ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRRE......................................KICKOUT!!! WATTERS: Looks like Gazi isn't ready for this one to end just yet. CHANEY: Well Smith is now complaining about a slow count. Both men need to get some points from this match. Tripp Skylark has two wins in the group and has 50 points. WATTERS: And Windham Brody has 25. Courtesy of a win over Chris Smith. CHANEY: Skylark beating Brody was seen as an upset by many. WATTERS: Not me. I had money on him winning. CHANEY: You did? WATTERS: Yep. Thanks for the victory Tripp. I owe you a drink. CHANEY: Getting back to the current match. Smith hauls Gazi up again and sends him into the corner. WATTERS: AVALANCHE! CHANEY: Gazi staggers out of the corner and Smith takes him down with a butterfly suplex. WATTERS: Wow. Where did that come from? CHANEY: Smith goes for a German suplex, but Gazi blocks it and goes for a backflip kick, but Smith side-steps and Gazi crashes to the canvas. WATTERS: Smith makes sure he stays down by crashing into him with a senton. Pinfall attempt. ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRRE......................................KICKOUT!!! CHANEY: Good grief. WATTERS: Why doesn't Gazi just stay down? CHANEY: As you said earlier - they both want and need the win. WATTERS: Gazi stumbles to his feet and is looking completely out of it. Smith hits Gazi with a shoulderblock. CHANEY: German suplex. WATTERS: Forearm smash. Samoan Drop. Kneedrop. CHANEY: Smith is literally throwing everything he has at Gazi. WATTERS: Smith goes for a forearm smash, but Gazi blocks it and executes a cartwheel kick. CHANEY: Gazi goes for a back heel kick, but Smith counters it with a legsweep. Smith hits a kneedrop on Gazi. WATTERS: He pulls him to his feet and drops him with a Samoan Drop. Smith is literally dismantling Gazi right in front of us. CHANEY: Smith has the crowd going wild. He hoists Gazi up again and whips the smaller man into the ropes, but Gazi reverses it. WATTERS: Gazi off the ropes and he goes for a kick to the head. CHANEY: Smith ducks and then turns on his heel and runs straight through Gazi with a forearm smash. WATTERS: Smith is livid now. He drags Gazi up and shoves him into the corner. CHANEY: He backs across the ring and then runs across the ring and goes for an avalanche in the corner, but Gazi counters it with a thrust kick to the head. WATTERS: Gazi executes a dropkick to the back of the head on Smith and sends him staggering into the corner. CHANEY: Gazi is trying to lift Smith onto the turnbuckle but he is WAAAY too big. Gazi goes for a dropkick to the knee, but Smith side-steps and Gazi crashes to the canvas. WATTERS: Smith drags him up again and takes Gazi down with a Samoan Drop. And a second one. CHANEY: Both of these men are running on empty right now. Something has to give. Smith sends Gazi into the turnbuckle and follows him in shoulder first, but Gazi lifts his knee. WATTERS: Gazi runs into the opposite ropes. Smith misses with a clothesline but turns around as Gazi bounces off the opposite ropes and catches him with a massive chokeslam! CHANEY: The crowd is on their feet. Smith goes for the pin and Steve Anderson jumps over the top of him to check Gazi's shoulders. He lands with a heck of a thud, being an ex-wrestler, and starts to count. ONE! . . WATTERS: Huh? What the hell? Smith just jumped right up off of Gazi and he's frantically looking around the ring. CHANEY: I'm as confused as you are, Larry. [The nearest camera to the ring picks up the audio from in the ring as Smith is remonstrating with referee Anderson.] SMITH: Is Kid Chameleon out here? Where is he? Tell me. CHANEY: Kid Chameleon? I don't think he's here this evening. WATTERS: Smith doesn't know that though does he? CHANEY: And even though Steve Anderson is telling him. He's still looking cautious. WATTERS: Meanwhile Gazi hasn't moved. He's exhausted. CHANEY: Smith executes a kneedrop on Gazi. He drags him up to his feet and executes the School's Out! Now he's going for the pin again. WATTERS: Referee Anderson goes for the count again. A little more cautiously this time. CHANEY: El Principe goes for the pin. Steve Anderson counts: ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRREEEEEEE!!! [DING! DING! DING!] WATTERS: Chris Smith gets the win. CHANEY: That means he is still in contention in Group B. WATTERS: Thing is - he still has to face Tripp Skylark. That might be a little bit more than he can handle. CHANEY: Time will tell, Larry. It usually does. [The screen cuts away..]
[The scene opens to the locker room area backstage at The Phoenix Arena. We see the Son of Malta standing next to a locker in his street clothes, as if gettign ready for an interview segment or something. Before we get anythign from him, the door opens and the camera swivels to show "Good" Gordon Gaines walking in.] GAINES: Mr. Malta.... [No reaction.] GAINES: Mr. Malta, may I have a word, please. [The Maltese Machine seems to relent and turns slightly to put Gaines in his sights.] GAINES: Listen, I have a lot to improve on, I understand that. But tonight I face off against one of the top guys in SCW in Pat Gordon Jr. and I could really use your help. SOM: Help? GAINES: Yes, help. You seemed to be ready for just about everything I threw at you last Rampage. Even stuff I worked on just for that match! I was wondering if you would come to ringside with me and advise me as I take on Gordon. [The Son of Malta stands quiet.] SOM: Gaines, have you forgot what I told you during the last couple of weeks? I don't care about anything or anyone. I lost everything I had when my son was killed. The only thing in life that keeps me going is getting in the ring and kick some ass, and I think you can attest to that following the beatings I gave you. I don't care about you, you mean nothing to me and I don't want to have any responsibility of you. [Gordon seems to get desperate.] GAINES: Listem I realize all of that, but where would you be without your mentor's guidance? How high could you have gotten in the wrestling world? SOM: William Arthur Reagan was the best in the business. He was just 25 year old when he was the next best thing in WCW during the high time of the ratings war against WWE. But then when his chance to shine came the almighty Hollywood Hogan did not want to pass the torch to him and used his veto to destroy the dreams of the best up and coming wrestler in the world. This led him to depression which resulted in drugs and armed robbery leading him to jail. It was during his time in prison that he came in contact with Gino di Maggio who was working on the formation of the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse to take down his father Salvatore in the battle of power in The Fighting Zone. It was his start to redemption and at 40years old he was the star of the underground, the star of The Fighting Zone. It was during that time that I met him and he saw potential in me. He took me under his wing and not only thought me how to be the best wrestler around, but he also thought me the dark arts of the underground. He was a champion inside the ring and inside and the cage. But he had his demons from the time of The Fighting Zone, and that demon goes by the name of Keegan. I tried to convince him not to go ahead with the match in Palermo but he wanted to destroy the Prince in his hometown. But it wasn't meant to be, and William was murdered by Keegan during that match. My world started to crumble but I wanted to make him proud and I trained so hard that I emulated him and became a champion both inside the ring and inside the Zone. [Gordon gets a smile on hs face.] GAINES: That is what I need! I need someone to come alongside me like that and teach me what I need to succeed the way William Reagan did you. [The is a long pause as the smile slowly disappears from Gordon's face.] GAINES: I don't want to be one of those guys who is just happy to get in the ring. I want more. [He looks at Malta with a pleading look.] GAINES: And I know you can help me get that....if you're willing. SOM: I will come with you to the ring as an observer and if you do what I'll you that we can move towards step two. But first you need to get the win tonight. Not only winning but you need to annihilate your opponent, destroy him and humiliate him. And if you succeed you would have passed step one and then we shall see if you can manage step two. [The screen fades and then cuts away.]
[We cut to inside a packed night at the local cool hangout, Funky Town! There are beautiful women enjoying themselves as they dance and party to the music blasting over the PA. We zoom in on the doors as two men enter the scene. One of them is a very uncomfortable Pirate of Bling, dressed in a gold colored button up shirt, black slacks, a belt with a gold skull belt buckle and black & gold boots. The other man is dripping wet with perspiration and is wearing a blue button up shirt with a flower print on it, the shirt unbuttoned to nearly his navel revealing his athletic but slick with sweat chest, tight blue jeans with fashionable ripped holes, an open dark blue jacket and some boots. Yeah, you know it is Tony Sweat and that he is smiling like a Cheshire cat!] TS: Aww man! Take a look at this action! [Tony takes a big sniff of the air while his Sweaty Bling partner, the Pirate of Bling, looks at his watch and scopes out all the exits.] TS: You can smell the lovin' that is waiting to happen! [Bling rolls his eyes and shakes his head.] TPOB: Avast ye, Tony! I think I best be getting on my way out of here or I'll be walking the plank with me wife. [Tony makes an amused face.] TS: Wife? What are you talking about man? You ain't married! [The Pirate of Bling holds up his left hand and points to the ring on his ring finger.] TPOB: Aye, I am, partner! [Tony giggles.] TS: That's a good one, man. You've never introduced me to any wife! TPOB: That is for her own good. [Tony slaps the Pirate on the back, leaving a big wet handprint on his shirt.] TS: You don't have to make up stories cos you are nervous about talkin' to the ladies, man! TPOB: But I'm not making up- TS: We ain't got time for being little kids about this, man! We gotta' show those two survey scammer freaks how to pick up a lady for real, OK? So lets scope the action and start getting those numbers so we can get a head start on those chumps! [Sweat pats his partner on the back, leaving another wet handprint, before walking off to chase after some ladies. Bling shakes his head.] TPOB: Shiver me timbers! [We cut away to...]
[Backstage, a roving camera person stops short on their tracks as they walk by a secluded part of the arena. The reason for this decision becomes apparent a moment later, when two excited voices drift up from somewhere very close by.] VOICE #1: ...corkscrew, dude! 720 corkscrew! From the ROOF! VOICE #2: ...bro. BRO...! VOICE #1: I know! RIGHT?! [A sudden turn to the right brings the owners of both voices into frame - or rather, two shocks of light-blond hair, as the two figures huddle in a corner, their backs to the camera. Sensing they may be about to stumble into something ground-breaking, the camera person creeps stealthily closer, unnoticed by the two young men ahead of them, who continue to giggle and whisper amongst themselves.] [Just as they are about to earn their scoop, however, the camera person gets suddenly spun around, causing the entire feed to go out of focus for a few seconds. When order is eventually restore, the intrepid investigator finds his or herself facing in the exact opposite direction than before, and straight at a very broad, very hairy, and very angry face.] MAN: An' just what do you think you're doin'? [Then, not waiting for an answer, Boss Hogg - for that is the identity of the newly arrived figure - barks over the camera person's head, presumably at the two figures seen moments before.] BOSS HOGG: An' y'all two! How many times I gotta tell y'all! Don't NEVER take y'all's masks off when you're at a show! Masks on at ALL TIMES! [Clearly having only just noticed what almost happened, the two young men can be heard muttering a bleeped expletive off-camera, as Boss nods sternly.] HOGG: Yup. That just -BLEEP-ing happened. What if I ain't been here to cover y'all's dumb asses? Huh? What then? You wanna tell me? [The two young-sounding voices once again drift in from off-camera, this time noticeably and sincerely contrite.] VOICE #1: Sorry, Boss... We kind'a forgot... VOICE #2: Yeah...we dun goofed. [Boss, however, does not relent in the slightest, retaining his stern tone as he admonishes.] HOGG: Damn straight y'all did. Now...quit loafin' 'round in the corner like a coupl'a careless chumps and go git yer gear on! We're due out there in a few minutes! [His two interlopers waste no time heeding this order, audibly scurrying in the direction of the nearest dressing room as Hogg leaves the camera operator with a few final words.] HOGG: An' you...quit snoopin' around behind people's backs. That don't sit right with the Boss! [With that, the Big Boss abruptly lets go of his quarry, leaving the camera person to stumble behind a few steps in surprise. Hogg's broad back stomping down the hall is the last image fans at home are left with as the operator appears to think it best to give up the ghost, and throws the feed back to ringside...]
[The view cuts to the ringside announcers sitting at the broadcast table at ringside.] CHANEY: Looks like Funky Town may end up being an interesting challenge, huh Larry? WATTERS: This won't go well for Tony at all. Tony Sweat is a man with a rare talent. It ought to make him practically impossible to pin down. CHANEY: That is disgusting to even think about, Larry. WATTERS: The truth is the truth. I love these guys, but that perspiration issue may just be poison in his life outside the ring. CHANEY: Well we will keep tabs on what happens at Funky Town during the course of the night, but not we head back to the ring where Lexi Darlington's Border Control team is in action. WATTERS: I'm looking forward to this. CHANEY: The Brothers Grimm also a favorite? WATTERS: Not particularly, but to see what these two former agents can do against some real size will be fun. CHANEY: Well, let's get to the ring and see for ourselves! Take it away!
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]
[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, this tag team match is set for one fall and has a fifteen-minute time limit! Introducing first, hailing from Peoria, Illinois and weighing in at a combined weight of five hundred and eighty-five pounds. Here are Grimmace and Grimmley.... T H E B R O T H E R S G R I M M ! ! ! ["Come Out and Play" by Offspring begins to play over the speaker system and the fans react with a little bit of awe as Grimmace walks out first. The 6'6", 345 lbs beast wears his tattered blue jean shorts and lumbers toward the ring. Behind him is Grimmley, the smaller of the brothers at 6'3" and 240 lbs. He is a little more lively and interacting with fans down the aisle even if it isn't always a positive interaction. They reach the ring and enter, awaiting the introductions of their opponents.] CHANEY: Grimmace and Grimmley. A pair of guys that you probably wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley. WATTERS: You could say that again, but these two haven't had the greatest of starts here in SCW. CHANEY: Not for lack of trying. WATTERS: No, they will try and hurt you and that part about them I like a lot. CHANEY: You would. WATTERS: Aggressiveness is always appreciated in the wrestling ring. [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 550 pounds, the team of Lincoln and Washington...the B O R D E R C O N T R O L ! ! ! [John Phillip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever" announces the arrival of agents Lincoln and Washington, collectively known as the Border Control. As they come out through the curtain and onto the entryway, the two members of the team share a slight glance and a nod, before each stepping slightly to one side, to open a corridor down the center of the ramp.] CHANEY: Agent Washington is six feet, six inches tall and Lincoln is only three inches shorter. WATTERS: So basically they are almost a match for the size of the Brothers Grimm. Well, that negates the usual advantage those boys have! (chuckles) [Into this corridor, a moment later, comes the wheeled lectern carrying the third member of the divisive group, manager and aspiring politician Lexi Darlington. Lincoln and Washington's attitude is deferential almost to the point of devotion as they clear a path for their employer, taking the time to make sure everything is in order with Darlington's chosen means of transportation before beginning to make their way to the ring. The reaction for the duo is split straight down the middle as they walk down the ramp, always keeping one step ahead of their manager.] CHANEY: They just walk slowly and Lexi is already inciting the crowd. WATTERS: The woman knows what she is doing and these guys follow her lead. CHANEY: Well they say such behavior is taught and not a part of how we are born. WATTERS: And what are you referring to there, Chaney? Great wrestling? Tag Team chemistry? You are such a troll at times. [Lexi stands on the outside and yells "Drain the Swamp!" as her men stand in the ring. In that moment, they take off toward the Brothers Grimm and attack, taking everyone by surprise including the referee. Lincoln charges in with a boot to the stomach of Grimmley, while Washington lands an elbow to the side of Grimmace's face as he was stepping through the ropes, sending him tumbling to the arena floor.] CHANEY: BORDER CONTROL ON THE ATTACK BEFORE THE BELL!!! WATTERS: Grimmace just got plastered to the floor! Wow! CHANEY: Lexi Darlington gave the command and these two went at it like trained attack dogs! WATTERS: Isn't that what good wrestlers ought to do when they are given a strategy to follow inside the squared circle, Chaney? [DING! DING!! DING!!!] CHANEY: There's the bell finally, but the damage may already have been done with that cheap attack! WATTERS: It is nothing that the Brothers Grimm have not done themselves in their careers. I've seen them do it. CHANEY: Perhaps so, but that doesn't' make it right. WATTERS: Might makes right, Chaney. You need to remember that. [The referee is still trying to get one of the Agents to exit the ring as they both grab Grimmley and whip him into the ropes, catching him on the rebound and lifting him into the air together to drop his neck over the top rope. Washington finally steps out of the ring as Grimmley is in dire straits.] CHANEY: GRIMMLEY'S NECK LANDS FLUSH ON THE TOP ROPE!!! WATTERS: Their double-teaming is quite impressive. You have to hand it to Lexi as she got a pair of guys that seem to work really well together. CHANEY: And blindly follow orders. WATTERS: That's just a plus. [Lincoln pulls Grimmley up and holds him by the sides of the neck, driving his knees into his ribs over and over and pushing him into his "home corner." Lexi is nodding and taunting the crowd to incite them.] CHANEY: Lincoln going to work and driving knees into Grimmley over and over. WATTERS: Not only that, but he is taking him to the one place inside the ring he doesn't want to be in! CHANEY: I don't think ANYBODY would want to get stuck there, Larry. WATTERS: For once, you say something worth agreeing with. [Lincoln tags to Washington and then holds Grimmley's arm up for the bigger man to kick those exposed ribs as hard as he can. Washington then jerks down on the left arm multiple times, working Grimmley's shoulder.] CHANEY: Washington enters and he is just a hoss in there, Larry. WATTERS: He is well put together and he is nearly tearing that arm off of Grimmley's shoulder. He is really yanking that joint to shreds! CHANEY: Grimmley has never had a chance to even land an offensive move, much less defend himself. WATTERS: Great strategy will sometimes give you that huge of an advantage. [Washington whips Grimmley into the corner and he hits with a thud, stumbling back toward the Agent. Washington picks him up with a Gorilla Press lift and then walks over to the side of the ring where Grimmace is finally getting up to his feet, throwing Grimmley on top of his partner, and then slapping his hands as if finished with work as the fans boo.] CHANEY: GRIMMLEY SENT FLYING ON TOP OF GRIMMACE ON THE OUTSIDE!!! WHAT A SHOW OF POWER!!! WATTERS: Agent Washington is a great weapon and he just proved why his strength got him a spot on this tag team. CHANEY: The Brothers Grimm are down out here at ringside and Border Control can do whatever they want. WATTERS: Get used to saying that, Chaney. [Lincoln rushes around the ring and grabs Grimmley, rolling him back into the ring. He immediately stomps Grimmace several times on the outside before sliding into the ring himself where Washington has already pulled Grimmley up.] CHANEY: BORDER CONTROL IN COMPLETE CONTROL!!! WATTERS: Lincoln showing his smarts as he makes sure there is no count out. CHANEY: That isn't all he did, Larry. WATTERS: You're right! He also made sure Grimmace wasn't quickly going to get up and assert his weight into fixing anything. Grimmley is now at their mercy! [Without any fanfare or set up, the two for me Agents land stereo lariats on Grimmley and lay him out in the center of the ring. The stand there as Lexi is just going nuts on the outside of the ring with how well her guys are doing.] CHANEY: WELCOME TO AMERICA!!! That stereo lariats flatten Grimmley! WATTERS: That's it. This one is over. ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHHRRREEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: BORDER CONTROL WINS EASILY!!! WATTERS: You had any doubt? These two were in complete command the entire match. CHANEY: That wasn't a match, Crusher. That was a mugging. WATTERS: You do what you gotta do, Chaney. [As their names are announced as winners, Lincoln and Washington stand with an arm raised as Lexi enters the ring and just starts nodding in a "That's how we do" type of motion. The fans are not enjoying them at all, throwing boos at them in the worst way.] CHANEY: Lexi Darlington celebrating with her agents and this may be the beginning of an evil empire. WATTERS: Making Texas wrestling great again! That is how I see it. CHANEY: Oh dear God. WATTERS: What? [The screen cuts away...]
[The show cuts to an SCW backdrop in the locker room. A tall, lanky man wearing glasses and a grey suit stands in front of the backdrop holding a microphone. To his right is Pat Gordon, Junior, and to his right is El Gringo Loco.] TOMMY: Good evening, SCW fans. My name is Tommy Gordon, and I'm standing here with Pat Gordon, Junior and El Gringo Loco. Before you ask, yes, we are related. We're brothers. PGJR: It's good to see you again, Tommy. It's been too long. TOMMY: It has, especially now that the rest of the family doesn't want you around for Christmas or Thanksgiving anymore. [Pat Gordon, Junior looks like Tommy has hit a sore spot.] TOMMY: Well, you know I'm okay with it. Anyway, Pat, let's go back to two weeks ago. You beat Bam Markham to win your bracket and cement your spot in the Lonestar Heavyweight Championship tournament quarterfinal... [PGJR has a proud look on his face.] TOMMY: In what many are calling controversial circumstances. How do you respond to those accusations? [Pat's expression quickly sours. However, before he can rebut, El Gringo Loco cuts in front of the Oklahoma Orthodontist.] EGL: That was one HOT match, wasn't it? Muy caliente! Hahaha! Escuchame, we said that Pat Gordon, Junior was going to go out there and prove that he's the Lonestar Heavyweight Champion, and that's exactly what he did. This tournament is only a mere formality, Tommy Gordon, and your brother has it in the bag. Hahaha! TOMMY: Well, with two wins, you already have enough points to go to the knockout stage. But before that happens, you'll have to face 'the Legend' Sean Darring. PGJR: So I still have one more match left in the group stage. Isn't that just peachy! You know, a lot of people would forfeit that last match to avoid injury. Well, I ain't a lot of people. I'm the Hardest Working Man in Pro-Wrestling. So, Sean Darring, I hope you're paying attention tonight when I get in the ring with 'Good' Gordon Gaines, because I'm gonna use him to show you exactly what you've got coming to you. EGL: That's right, Sean Darring. Pat Gordon, Junior takes no days off, and he takes no prisoners. You won't get a free pass to the next round. In fact, you'll be lucky if you even make it to the next round at all! Vamos! [With that, El Gringo Loco and Pat Gordon, Junior storm off.] TOMMY: Back to you, Eric and Crusher. [And the scene cuts away...]
[It's time to cut backstage again. This time it's the young tag team of Ryan Paris and Colby Prince otherwise known to the wrestling world as The American Revival. They have on "It's time for a Revival" t-shirts on.] PARIS: We have spent the past year traveling the globe. We spent some time on the east coast. We threw down in Europe. And we made a few pay days in Japan. Last week was our debut. It's great to be down south in Texas doing what we do best. Nuff' said found that out. [Ryan Paris stares intensely into the camera.] PARIS: Trailer Park Assassinz it's your turn. [Wide grin.] PRINCE: TPA, let me the first to introduce ourselves. My partner and I are full bred wrecking machines. We don't put energy into controlling the things we can't control. Things like who likes us. Who is rooting for us. Who we are facing week to week. That is out of our control. What we can control, however is what happens inside that ring. [Colby snarls.] PRINCE: We can control how much damage we inflict on our opponents. We can control if our hands are raised at the end of the night. We are in the SCW to make an impact. We are here at Rampage to make a statement. To accomplish our goals, to get to where we belong you are the next step in our path. [Nods.] PARIS: We are passionate about pain. We are passionate about damage. We are passionate about success. We earn everything we get. Tonight, a message to the SCW tag teams will be sent. Turn those monitors on in the back, boys. PRINCE: It's Revival time. And we are coming for those belts. [Cut back to the ring.]
[We return to the broadcast table where our announce team is ready to speak.] WATTERS: I *LOVE* those guys! CHANEY: American Revival certainly made a splash in their debut and tonight they get the Trailer Park Assassinz later on tonight. WATTERS: And those two rag tags will find themselves in deep trouble, I can tell you that. CHANEY: Speaking of deep trouble, Gordon Gaines has himself a real spot to climb out of now as he gets ready to face off against Pat Gordon Jr. WATTERS: The Hardest Working Man in Wrestling is not someone you can try to "find yourself" against the way Gaines seems to desire. CHANEY: Well he has enlisted the help of the Son of Malta, which should help his cause. WATTERS: It could, but there are so many variables and Gordon is just so damn good in there. Plus, don't forget El Gringo Loco on the outside. CHANEY: That will cause concern, I'm sure. WATTERS: It would for the best of wrestlers, and let's be honest....Gaines isn't on that level yet. CHANEY: Well, let's see what happens as Gaines and Gordon do battle in the squared circle! Take it away "Buff!"
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]
[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is set for one fall and has a fifteen-minute time limit! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by the Son of Malta. From Eden Prairie, Minnesota and weighing in at two hundred-forty-one pounds. Here is... "G O O D" G O R D O N G A I N E S ! ! ! [""Blaze of Glory" by Bon Jovi begins to play and Gordon Gaines walks out from behind the entrance curtain. Gaines is wearing his blue wrestling tights and a black suit jacket as he walks down to the ring looking focused as ever. Behind him is the Son of Malta, who looks as brooding as he always does, but obviously keeping watch over this particular wrestler. He gets in the ring and raises his arms to a modest pop from the Dallas crowd.] CHANEY: Gaines is out with the Son of Malta! Larry, do you think that Malta really will help Gordon Gaines? WATTERS: He can't hurt! Gaines has basic tools, we all know that, but he lacks the kind of focus a man like Malta can help him develop. CHANEY: So, that is a yes? WATTERS: It is a qualified maybe. It all depends on Gaines' attitude. CHANEY: Then this could be good for him. WATTERS: We will see. I'm not sold on Malta being able to co exist with anybody, let alone an annoying person like Gaines. [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent, now residing in Muskogee, Oklahoma... ["Okie from Muskogee" by Merle Haggard is met with boos, and there are even more boos when El Gringo Loco and Pat Gordon, Junior step onto the ramp and make their ways to ringside.] BUFFINGTON: Weighing in at 247 pounds... He is led to the ring by the Mexican Multimedia MEGA STAR, El Gringo Loco, representing El Gringo Loco's Professional Wrestling Cartel, the "Oklahoma Orthodontist"... P A T G O R D O N, J U N I O R ! ! ! ! ! [As the two get to ringside, the amount of crwd heat was matched by the amount of popcorn tossed in their direction. They enter the ring and El Gringo Loco continues taunting the crowd for their actions as Gordon raises his arms to acknowledge his introduction.] CHANEY: Gordon and Gringo Loco certainly make an entrance. WATTERS: He's the hardest working man in wrestling and the fans still don't appreciate him for all he brings. CHANEY: Give it a rest. If he wasn't with the Loco Cartel, Gordon might get more love. WATTERS: It is about respect, Chaney. And he gets not near enough in my opinion. [DING! DING!! DING!!!] CHANEY: There's the bell and now we are under way. WATTERS: I love how Pat isn't moving from his spot. He is forcing Gaines to come to him. CHANEY: Is that strategy or just him being a jerk? WATTERS: It is always strategy with Gordon. The man is a genius even without Gringo Loco by his side! [Gordon stands with a smirk at center ring as Gaines gets a couple of last-second instructions from Son of Malta. Gaines moves up and circles, lunging in for a tie up and quickly gaining an advantage into a side headlock. Gringo Loco is already waving his hands crying foul as Gaines smiles in the ring at his advantage, but Malta begins holding his hand up to tell him to not get too cocky.] CHANEY: Gordon Gaines showing a little technical skill, Larry. WATTERS: Malta is right that he needs to not get too cocky. Just because you get an early advantage is no reason to grin like an idiot. CHANEY: You can't be excited for him, can you? WATTERS: Why? [Before Malta could put his hand down, Gordon chain-wrestled out of the headlock and turned it into a hammer lock of his own, trapping Gaines' arm behind his back. Gaines tries to swing his elbow back for an attack, but only hits air as Gordon ducks and then grabs him for a belly-to-belly suplex.] CHANEY: BIG BELLY-TO-BELLY SUPLEX BY PAT GORDON JR!!! WATTERS: And that is the technical skill that has made him a world champion elsewhere! CHANEY: Gaines never saw it coming. WATTERS: I am betting that won't be the last time, either. [As Gaines stands to his feet, Pat Gordon Jr waves a finger at him to let him know he made a major mistake. Gaines looks over to Malta and he nods in agreement. Gaines smacks the canvas as he stands back to his feet.] CHANEY: Pat Gordon Jr all but telling Gaines he made a mistake there, Larry. WATTERS: If anything, Gaines is getting a wrestling lesson here. Malta is nice as a teacher, but this is real world stuff now. CHANEY: The Son of Malta is probably not a conceptual teacher. I could imagine him being very hands on. WATTERS: Probably. I'm surprised Gaines didn't look like a giant bruise when he entered the ring tonight, Chaney. [Gaines moves in slowly and looks for another tie-up, but the former world champion sidesteps the attempt and lands a knee to the gut, which doubles Gaines over. Pat grabs Gaines by the head and bites the top of his forehead, which gets a major amount of heat from the fans. Then he shoves Gaines' head down as he hits a knee lift that sends Gaines backward and to the mat.] CHANEY: Gordon bites him on the head and then knee lifts him to the canvas! WATTERS: Love how aggressive he is being now. CHANEY: You always love when somebody skirts the edge of the rules. I would say the bite was outside the accepted norm in the ring. WATTERS: Eh, whatever. It worked. [Gringo Loco holds his hands up to show appreciation and tout Gordon to the fans and the cameras as Pat takes an arrogant semi-bow in the ring. Malta is saying something to Gaines as he starts to pull himself up by the ropes.] CHANEY: Gordon acting like he has this won already. Look at that arrogance! WATTERS: Oh cry a river, Chaney. CHANEY: That showboating arrogance doesn't bother you. WATTERS: Listen if somebody tells you not to be arrogant, then you probably have a pretty damn good reason to be arrogant. [Gaines is up to his feet and turns to face Gordon. They move toward each other and again looks like Pat will hit a knee on a faux lock-up attempt, but Gaines corrects and grabs the knee, flipping Gordon over with a legwhip that gets the fans to cheer.] CHANEY: LEGWHIP BY GAINES OUT OF NOWHERE! WATTERS: Even I'm shocked he pulled that off. Gaines showing some strategy and I'm really speechless about it. CHANEY: You're never speechless Larry. WATTERS: True. I can always manage to turn a phrase as fast as I ever turned a suplex. [Before Gordon can fully get to his feet, Gaines is over and grabs him by the arm and shoulder, whipping him across the ring and into the opposite corner. Gordon hits hard and bounces back into Gaines' arms, as he lifts and turns for a nasty trailer park slam. Gringo Loco is going nuts on the outside yelling for a disqualification.] CHANEY: TRILER PARK SLAM BY GAINES!!! THIS COULD BE AN UPSET IN THE MAKING!!! WATTERS: Don't start counting chickens, Chaney. Gordon has been in worse positions and by much tougher opponents. CHANEY: Perhaps, but sometimes the surprise of getting caught like that can be a game changer. WATTERS: It is possible, I hate to admit. [Gaines pulls Gordon up and gets him into suplex lift position. He lifts Gordon into the air straight up and holds him there. As he holds him there the crowd cheers and Gringo Loco jumps on the apron. The Son of Malta steps around the corner and points to the much smaller manager to get off the ring apron just as Gaines drops the vertical suplex in the center of the ring.] CHANEY: LOOK AT THAT VERTICAL SUPLEX BY GAINES!!! WATTERS: DAMN!!! He covers! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR..................KICKOUT!!! CHANEY: GORDON GETS A SHOULDER UP!!! WATTERS: He got out of it just like I thought he would. Loco better be careful with going near that ring again. CHANEY: El Gringo Loco is besides himself and now the Son of Malta is on watch! WATTERS: Yeah, that could be very bad for the Loco Cartel mastermind. [Malta walks around the ring as Loco had started to step on the ring steps again. The two begin circling the ring slowly as Gringo Loco continues looking behind him to make sure he stays ahead of the Maltese Machine. In the ring, Gaines is pulling Gordon to his feet and hitting him with a European Uppercut that sends Pat staggering back into the corner.] CHANEY: The Son of Malta is stalking Gringo Loco around the ring as Gaines hits a massive uppercut to send Gordon backward! WATTERS: El Gringo Loco's mind isn't in the ring now and that is hurting Gordon. CHANEY: I would say survival is his first priority, Larry. WATTERS: With the Maltese beast chasing you, I can't blame him. [Malta stops chasing Loco as the devious one has finally stepped away from the ring and seems to be staying quiet. In the ring, Gaines has climbed the turnbuckle and held his hand out for the fans to know he is ready to drill old school punches from this elevated spot. He starts slamming his fist as the crowd chants along.] CROWD: ONE!!!!! CROWD: TWO!!!!! WATTERS: HE'S CHEATING WITH THOSE CLOSED FISTS! CROWD: THREE!!!!!! CROWD: FOUR!!!!!! CHANEY: He learned from Son of Malta. CROWD: FIVE!!!!!! CROWD: SIX!!!!!!! CROWD: SEVEN!!!!! WATTERS: GOOD GOD! STOP THIS REF! CROWD: EIGHT!!!!! CROWD: NINE!!!!! [Before the tenth can land, Gordon wraps his arms around the legs of Gaines and lifts him enough to move him out and drop him neck-first on the top rope with his left arm hitting the turnbuckle awkwardly. The crowd groans as both men are on the canvas.] CHANEY: GORDON EVENS THE SCORE OUT OF THE CORNER!!! WATTERS: That looks really disgusting, Chaney. I don't think arms are supposed to bend that way. CHANEY: Gaines may have some real trouble there as that left arm looks weakened with how he is holding it. WATTERS: Give a vet like Gordon an opening, and this may be a bad ending for Gaines. [Both men struggle to get off the mat and are pulling at the ropes near them. Gaines manages to get to his feet first by a split second and turns to go for Gordon, but the veteran plants a fist right into the "nether regions" of Gaines and drops him back to the canvas as the crowd boos loudly.] CHANEY: LOW BLOW BY PAT GORDON JR!!!! WATTERS: The great equalizer again appears! CHANEY: As if the arm being weakened wasn't enough, Gordon now takes that cheap shot and gets a true advantage. WATTERS: And Gaines is in serious trouble against a technician like Gordon. [Gordon pulls Gaines by the arm that hit the turnbuckles and as he holds that left arm, he begins to throw some very dramatic punches to the underarm area and that shoulder joint takes a beating. He throws four solid punches in a row as the crowd boos and Gaines is obviously effected by it.] CHANEY: MUSKOGEE CHARLIE HORSE!!! WATTERS: Imagine how much that really hurt after what happened to that arm moments ago on the turnbuckle! CHANEY: Gordon exploiting that problem area to the fullest and Gaines is feeling every bit of it. WATTERS: That is why he is one of the best in the sport, Chaney. [Gordon lets go of the wrist and plants a knife-edge chop to his opponent that gets the pavlovian response from the crowd. Then he grabs Gaines and lifts him with a release German Suplex that gets Gringo Loco to even jump up with glee.] CHANEY: GERMAN SUPLEX BY GORDON!!! WATTERS: The man is a surgeon in there! He is taking Gordon Gaines apart piece by piece now. CHANEY: And Malta isn't like Gringo Loco. He won't be stepping in there to stop it. WATTERS: Obviously, he has a teaching method that is based on experiencing the mistakes as painfully as possible. I like that. [Gordon nods to his manager as he stalks toward his down opponent. Malta is loudly heard yelling for Gaines to get up and shake it off. The shouts go unanswered as the hardest working man in wrestling pulls Gaines up and lifts him for a nasty-looking backdrop suplex in the center of the ring.] CHANEY: SUNDAY MORNING HANGOVER! WATTERS: THAT'S IT!!! THE COVER!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: PAT GORDON JR WITH THE VICTORY!!! WATTERS: Was it ever truly in doubt? This man is the hardest working man in wrestling and tonight he showed why he will eventually be our first Lonestar champion! CHANEY: You sound confident there, Larry. WATTERS: I just watched him do what he does. That is enough evidence for me. [Gordon stands up and thrusts his arms into the air in victory as El Gringo Loco gets into the ring to celebrate with his man. As they celebrate, Malta pulls Gaines out of the ring and begins helping him up the aisle.] CHANEY: Gaines is being helped back by the Son of Malta in what has to be a disappointing finish for the match. WATTERS: He got what he needed here and I hope he learned something from it. CHANEY: Gordon Gaines still has a lot of improvement to make it seems. WATTERS: Here endeth the lesson! [The screen cuts away...]
[It's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat! But, then, I close my eyes and think of... Alfie?!] [Fresh off a win against group rival, El Principe, Alfie Button is here. Why? That is the question Steve Blaine put to the most colorful character in this hovel of a set.] BUTTON: Someone got the 'ump I didn't cut a promo last week, so I fought I'd better show up. BLAINE: Sounds good to me, even though I didn't understand most of it. Alfie, what are your thoughts on Caleb Foley and please speak personally to him, because he might be the only person who actually understands what you say. [It seems that slight is lost on the Cockney, who takes a step forward to address his Irish opponent.] BUTTON: Caleb Foley, geezer, I 'eard you use'ta be a right laugh, up for anyfing, work 'ard, play 'ard an all that. [He pauses to let the nod to Foley's pimp past sink in.] BUTTON: I 'aven't got a scooby what changed that an honestly, I couldn't give a monkeys mate. But I know you still got serious credentials, you're not to messed wiv an I ain't takin' this lightly, not even for a second. [He waves his hand as if to back up what he says.] BUTTON: This is a proper match and I'm a big-match performer - just ask Ashley and Chelsea. The 'arder it gets, the more I like it. Or is that them? I can't remember, The fing is, you're from ah part of the world, roughly, more or less, and I've got a lot of respect for the Irish and they respect Alfie Button. They got passion, 'eart, fight and they like a good time. I ain't got anyfing against them or you, mate, but business is business, innit? [He points his thumb toward his chest as he continues.] BUTTON: So, let's remind you of 'oo I am: I'm Alfie and everyone else is mutton dressed as Mutton. I'm the A ta B of professional wrestling, and the rest can 'C' themselves outta this tournament because when I get goin': I got the 'eart of a lion, all the life ov Brian, the reflexes of any big cat, the survival skills of a rat and for that, you gotta take off ya 'at. [He barely takes a breath as he keeps going.] BUTTON: I'm quicker than a hiccup and pick-up put togevver and the reason why ya movver tuned in to see SCW, only cos a AB, I'm the man from Milan to Iran and back to Cannes, from the people in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Bhutan and ya Uncle Stan. [He smiles broadly.] BUTTON: I put A in Group A, like Jed puts W in SCW and El Principle puts L in loser and Caleb, while ya a bruiser, I've got the patter to splatter ya and I ain't natterin' for a batterin' even if you'd like to give it t'me but I'm too fast for you Irish folk, God bless ya, prettier than Molly Malone 'oldin a litter of kittens and I've been written off more times than a car crash, I got more cash than Gates' interest rates and I'm gonna light up the screen like a rainbow in HD and 'ere on Rampage, I'm gonna make it free out of free. [Button holds up three fingers as he leaves, ensuring we are completely aware that he isn't talking about anything 'gratis' and leaves a bewildered Blaine holding up three fingers himself before the penny drops that Alfie was referring to his relatively impressive win-loss record thus far here in SCW.]
[We cut back to inside Funky Town where we see an agitated Pirate of Bling rolling his eyes as some young lady talks to him.] Young Lady: So is it true what they say? [He sighs.] TPOB: I give up, lassie! Ye cryptic allusion is beyond the scope of me! Is what true? [She flashes a sly smile.] Young Lady: That a pirate's life is a life for me! [She winks at him as he runs his hand over his face.] TPOB: Sure, aye. [She hands him a slip of paper and motions her hands towards her ears.] Young Lady: I wanna' find out some time. Call me! [She winks as she slinks off and Bling just shakes his head.] TPOB: This be the tenth lassie to try and slip me numbers and.. [The Pirate looks at his watch.] TPOB: Where the DEVIL be those masked scallywags?! [The camera pans away from the flummoxed Pirate and settles on a very excited Tony Sweat who is walking up to a pair of ladies.] TS: Hey there, ladies! Nice night for a dance, right? [The two ladies are taken aback as they see sweat pouring down his face and chest and hands and pouring out of the holes in his jeans.] Lady 1: You OK man? [Tony nods his head with a lecherous smile.] TS: I'm more than OK, honey! Lady 1: You got a fever or something?! TS: Oh yeah, I do! Lady 2: Ooh, you probably shouldn't be here then. You could get someone sick! [Tony makes a dumbfounded face.] TS: Sick? Oh wait! [He gets a huge smile.] TS: You mean like morning sickness or something, eh?! [Both women are confused and frightened.] Lady 1: Do what? TS: Yeah, I'm picking up what you ladies are saying! Why don't we exchange some information and then we can get together anytime to make them babies, yeah! [Both women gag and quickly scramble away in disgust. Tony is confused.] TS: Uh.. Are you going to go get your numbers from your car or something? [He watches them walk as far away as possible and shakes his head.] TS: Women! They send you signals one way, then send you signals another way.. They make no sense! [He stomps off and we cut away to...]
[The cameras cut backstage to the corridor outside the Loco Cartel's locker room, as is indicated by the 6'9, nearly 500 pound bodyguard standing watch. Also, the nameplate reading “Cartel” is a dead giveaway. Davey-Boy O'Brien walks up to the bodyguard, dressed to compete as is the norm with him. Davey sizes the large man up and seems a bit intimidated by his sheer size.] DAVEY-BOY: Ah got a noot requestin' me presence. [The bodyguard just stares straight forward through his dark glasses.] GAMBY: Name? [Almost instinctively, Davey's finger tips twirl across his blond moustache.] DAVEY-BOY: O'Brien. Davey-Boy O'Brien. GAMBY: The boss is expecting you. [The bodyguard turns to hold the door open for the Man O'Groot. Erm... O'Groats!] GAMBY: Go on in. [Taking another moment to size up the bodyguard, a brash confidence appears on Davey's face before he moves into the lap of luxury that is the Cartel de Loco's locker room. The place is decked out with expensive looking antique furniture and a few priceless pieces of art. El Gringo Loco himself chomps on an unlit cigar behind a desk with solid gold legs and a white marble top. An autographed photo of Che Guevarra made out to one of his predecessors hangs on the wall behind him.] EGL: Davey-Boy, young man, bienvenido! Welcome, welcome! Would you like a drink? Una Fresca maybe? [Before Davey can decline, he is served an open, glass bottle of Fresca. As he takes a swig of the refreshing beverage, EGL continues talking: ] EGL: I'm sure you've heard of the soon-to-be crowned FIRST EVER SCW Lonestar Heavyweight Champion, Patricio el Gordon. [The El Chapo of Lucha Libre motions toward Pat Gordon, Junior sitting in front of the bar underneath a photo of EGL with famed Mexican boxing legend Héctor “El Ojo del Tigre” Francisco.] EGL: He's un hombre grande around here! Would you like to meet him? How is that gift I gave you working out for you? [Davey finishes off the Fresca as he's been just drinking it this whole time. Someone walks up to Davey with a serving tray. He places the empty Fresca bottle on top and releases an “ahhh!” of satisfaction before he glances over at Pat, regarding the offer; but, ultimately says: ] DAVEY-BOY: Unless Pat Gordon, Jr. sent me this noot... [O'Brien holds up an ornate invitation with the Cartel's own letterhead at the top.] EGL: Si, si. Right down to business. Me gusta. So, young man, I'm sure you're wondering why I've asked you here. You have a lot of raw talent... untapped potential. But I haven't seen you compete in, oh, almost un mes. And I couldn't help but to notice that before that you weren't making much pasta here to begin with. All they paid anyone was for t-shirt sales, and you had none. I could help you with that. Mira a Patricio. He had been written off by el todo del mundo de lucha libre, pero yo... I helped him get back on top and win his segundo Campeonato del Mundo! Y ahora, ahora Patricio es el hombre b batir, the man to beat here in SCW! Oportunidad, mijo, [the Mexican Mastermind knocks on his desktop] llama para usted. [It's very clear that O'Brien is impressed with what has been shown to him. Especially the Fresca in glass bottles! But, The Scottish Terrier knew he needed to keep his wits about him.] DAVEY-BOY: Me Maw didnae raise a dafty, Mr. Gringo Loco... EGL: So then you can recognize a great opportunity when you see one. Bueno, bueno! Escucha, you just take some time to think about it. You can give us your answer at the next Rampage. Bien? [O'Brien nods with a smirk and responds in kind: ] DAVEY-BOY: Bien. [The young grappler leaves The Cartel's locker room as the scene comes to a close on El Gringo Loco's devious smile.]
[The screen shows our broadcast team at the ringside announce table.] CHANEY: Looks like The Loco Cartel may have a new member! WATTERS: Smart move by the youngster. Davey-boy has a real future in the ring and if he allows Gringo Loco to take the reigns, you can shove a rocket up his ass! CHANEY: How colorful! WATTERS: It's an industry term, Chaney, you know that. CHANEY: Yes, *I* know that. WATTERS: Think of it as the opposite of Tony Sweat at Funky Town. There is no rocket there in any way, shape or form for that guy. (chuckles) CHANEY: Well before you start to mock Tony Sweat mercilessly, let's discuss our next match of The Trailer Park Assassinz against American Revival. WATTERS: Prince and Paris are the real deal. They aren't a couple of gusy tagging to get time on the air....they are a legit tag team. They think well together and react even better. CHANEY: We saw that a bit last Rampage when they decimated their opposition in near record time. WATTERS: No doubt and these two idiots they are facing don't have the seasoning others have in the SCW locker room. CHANEY: So you are thinking this one should end fast. WATTERS: I think this one shouldn't have been scheduled at all! CHANEY: You think that little of the TPA? They do have Boss Hogg giving them advice now. WATTERS: What is the deal with everyone seeking advice these days. Damn, learn stuff on your own and get better. CHANEY: They just want advice, Larry. Surely you recognize how vital that was to your career? WATTERS: Let me tell you something, Chaney. When I came up we asked advice of the veterans and if we didn't listen immediately they broke our friggin' leg or arm. They taught us the hard way. These snowflakes really bug me. CHANEY: You are starting to sound like Lexi Darlington, Larry. WATTERS: Oh, shut up, Chaney! CHANEY: And with that, let's head to the ring and see how this tag team match plays out!
Introducing first... ["No Remorse" starts up on the arena's sound system, announcing the arrival of the love- them-or-hate-them team of Brutalizer and Destruktor, the self-styled TRAILER PARK ASSASSINZ.] BUFFINGTON: And their opponents, from Pine Bluff, Arkansas, at a combined weight of three hundred pounds...the team of Brutalizer and Destruktor...the T R A I L E R P A R K A S S A S S I N Z ! ! ! [A moment later, the two Assassinz erupt through the curtain, in all their chest-thumping, devil-horning, homemade-mask glory. They pause for a moment on the entrance platform, the better to headbang to their own entrance song, then briefly turn their heads towards one another before running in for a full-on chest-bump. Only then do they resume making their way down to the ringside area and slide into the ring, holding their arms up for a modestly mixed greeting from the crowd.] CHANEY: Brutalizer and Destruktor are here and ready for battle, Larry. WATTERS: Well unless they are invading a pre-school, these two puny guys need to stay home. CHANEY: That is harsh, Crusher. WATTERS: It may be, but somebody needs to get some truth through to them. Look at them! CHANEY: What about them? WATTERS: They are tiny! Destruktor doesn't weight a hundred, forty pounds soaking wet for crying out loud!!! [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And their opponents, coming in at a combined weight of four hundred, twenty-seven pounds. Here are Colby Price and Ryan Paris, the.... A M E R I C A N R E V I V A L ! ! ! [A heavy metal style riff of music begins to play as the newest SCW tag team steps out from behind the curtain. Colby has a classic wrestler build, very athletic build and wears black pants with white lettering on it. Paris has short, dark hair and an athletic build. He wears matching black pants to Prince with white lettering. They step into the ring and stare down their opponents, disrespecting them with their glare as they await the start of the match.] CHANEY: Paris and Prince made a very quick debut last Rampage. WATTERS: I'm not even sure the quick beating of Nuff Said ought to be counted as a match. They were far and away superior. CHANEY: I agree it didn't last long, but what will happen here? WATTERS: It all depends on some strategy and speed from the Trailer boys. [DING! DING!! DING!!!] CHANEY: There's the bell and we are ready to begin. Brutalizer starts for the Assassinz, while it looks like Colby Prince for the Revival. WATTERS: Well at least the tiny guy isn't in the ring to start. CHANEY: He still looks smaller than Prince, though. WATTERS: Yes, but he has twenty pounds on his partner. So at least that was a wise decision by this team. [Prince and Brutalizer circle and Brutalizer lunges in for a tie-up only to quickly be hit with a knee to the stomach from the larger man. Prince then whips Brutalizer across the ring and into the corner where he hits the corner with a thud and Prince then runs and lands a running elbow smash on Brutalizer in the corner.] CHANEY: BIG ELBOW SMASH IN THE CORNE RBY PRINCE!!! WATTERS: Colby is an accomplished wrestler and could probably be a solo act. Either of these two could probably do well on their own. CHANEY: You might be right, Larry. They both have skills and have been around awhile. WATTERS: Yes, and now think how damaging they are working TOGETHER. [Prince taunts the crowd a little as he pulls Brutalizer out of the corner and grabs him for a snap Suplex back to the center of the ring. He pulls him up again and takes him to his team's corner, where he tags Paris in. Ryan enters and hits the exposed ribs left open for attack by Prince holding Brutalizer's left arm up.] CHANEY: There's the tag and American Revival working together like a well-oiled machine right now. WATTERS: They ought to! They are veterans who know how succeed in tag team wrestling. These Trailer boys don't know much of anything it looks like! CHANEY: Well they are getting mentored by Big Boss Hogg. WATTERS: And talk about a great technical influence there! (chuckles) [Paris hits a series of knife-edge chops in rapid succession. Too many to truly count as he pastes the smaller man with them over and over. Then Paris grabs Brutalizer and flips him with a Tiger Suplex as Prince raises an arm to taunt the crowd and cheering on his team mate.] CHANEY: TIGER SUPLEX BY COLBY PRINCE!!! Brutalizer in trouble! WATTERS: He's getting brutalized for sure! Perhaps that is why these guys have their names. CHANEY: Huh? WATTERS: Brutalizer gets brutalized and Destruktor gets destroyed. I think I get it now! [Paris and Prince give a nod to each other and then taunt the crowd a little bit more. Paris walks over to the corner where Destruktor is standing. Paris taunts him a little about being even smaller than the guy he just trashed in the ring and then hauls off and slaps the taste out of Destruktor's mouth and sending him off the apron with the impact.] CHANEY: PARIS JUST SLAPPED DESTRUKTOR ALL THE WAY TO THE ARENA FLOOR!!! WATTERS: That was awesome!!! (starts laughing loudly) CHANEY: Larry, that isn't very professional of you to react that way to such an illegal strike up there. WATTERS: (trying to stop laughing) It's....just....too much. [Paris laughs and then walks over to pull Brutalizer to his feet yet again. The rookie takes a swing at Ryan and he dodges the punch attempt and lands a European uppercut on the young man's head. Paris tags Prince and then grabs Brutalizer for an overhead belly-to- belly suplex.] CHANEY: BIG SUPLEX BY PARIS!!! This one is getting ugly! WATTERS: You can say that again! Is there a white towel someone can throw here? [Prince enters and pulls Brutalizer up. He lifts him with a power bomb lift and then turns to point toward the middle of the ring and hits a running power bomb.] CHANEY: RUNNING POWERBOMB!!! WATTERS: Brutalizer should be dead now and a cover! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRREE..................NO! HE PULLED HIS HEAD UP!!! CHANEY: WHY WOULD HE DO THAT?!?!?! WATTERS: Perhaps they want this one to last a little longer than their last match. CHANEY: What a disgusting display of disdain and disrespect! WATTERS: Alliterate much? [Prince smiles as the crowd boos the fact he pulls Brutalizer's head off the mat just before the three count. Colby pulls Brutalizer up and throws him into the empty corner. He rushes over and hits a discus roundhouse kick to Brutalizer as he sat against the turnbuckles. The crowd groans as he hits it.] CHANEY: DISCUS SPIN INTO A ROUNDHOSUE KICK IN THE CORNER!!! There is no way Brutalizer avoids a concussion after that! WATTERS: Well the positive side of that is he could get time off and not get the crap kicked out of him for awhile. CHANEY: Larry! WATTERS: Prove me wrong! Please, prove me wrong! [Out of nowhere, Destruktor enters the ring hits a dropkick on Prince from behind, sending the larger man into the corner turnbuckles above his downed partner. The crowd erupts as he takes a fighting pose, but the referee quickly grabs him and starts pushing him to his corner as Prince turns and shakes off the attack's impact.] CHANEY: DESTRUKTOR OUT TO HELP HIS PARTNER!!! WATTERS: And it backfired! That referee is shoving him like he owns him! CHANEY: Terrible reference, Larry. WATTERS: The kid has no strength in him at all! The ref could take him! [Prince, obviously pissed off, grabs Brutalizer and literally throws him toward his own corner. Brutalizer lands awkwardly in front of his partner as Prince yells for Destruktor to tag in and bring it. Destruktor reaches in and touches Brutalizer and steps through the ropes as the fans erupt in cheers for the young man.] CHANEY: There's the tag! Now Destruktor can enter legally! WATTERS: Be careful what you wish for, kiddo! CHANEY: The fans are showing love for these guys right now! WATTERS: That happens when you are the constant receptor of beatdowns and taunts. [Destruktor helps roll his partner back under the bottom rope and then turns to run at Prince, but the veteran performs a drop toe-hold that sends the smallest man in the match to the canvas face first. Prince jumps up and lands a double foot stomp to the back of the masked man.] CHANEY: DOUBLE STOMP ON THE BACK AND DESTRUKTOR IS NOW IN TROUBLE ALSO!!! WATTERS: I think I saw that coming! CHANEY: Why are you so pessimistic? These guys have potential! WATTERS: Potential for getting their asses handed to them! Hogg needs to start teaching them something and quick before they get killed in the ring! [Prince tags Paris back into the match and then pulls Destruktor up and whips him across the ring into the corner. The 140-pounder hits the corner and flips up to the top only to fall back in the same fashion and stagger out of the corner into a running lariat from Prince that nearly flips the smaller man completely around.] CHANEY: GOOD GOD NE HEARLY FLIPPED THE KID OVER WITH THAT LARIAT!!! WATTERS: I told you that tiny kid needs to gain some weight. That looked nasty and could have injured him for good! CHANEY: I have to agree that his landing could have been worse. WATTERS: This team is a disability suit waiting to happen. Somebody get a lawyer on retainer for them! [Prince stands up and uses his foot to shove Brutalizer off the apron and to the floor as the referee starts warning him to leave the ring. As the referee is ushering Prince away, Paris pulls Destruktor up and lifts him for a German Suplex, which he releases and sends the masked man flying nearly across the ring before he lands awkwardly on his neck.] CHANEY: BIIIG GERMAN SUPLEX BY RYAN PARIS!!! WATTERS: DAMN!!! CHANEY: The American Revival showing off technical skill in this one. No quick overwhelming force used tonight! WATTERS: And it is a display I hope the rest of the tag teams back there are paying attention to! These guys are legit! [Paris nods to Prince that this one is over and tags him to re-enter the match. Paris lifts Destruktor for a power bomb as Prince then jumps up as Paris begins to drop the power bomb and grabs Destruktor for a double knee back breaker on the landing.] CHANEY: THE REVIVAL POWERBOMB!!! GOOD GOD!!! WATTERS: There's the cover! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRREEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: AMERICAN REVIVAL WITH THE VICTORY!!!! WATTERS: Which has never been in doubt! These two are polished and it shows! CHANEY: And it looks like they aren't done either, Larry! WATTERS: A point isn't learned unless it is made emphatically! I love this! [Paris left the ring and went to grab Brutalizer and roll him into the ring, following right behind him under the bottom rope. Prince grabs Destruktor and locks on a kimura with neck scissors, while Paris has Brutalizer in an Achilles lock. The referee is trying to get them to let go, but they seem intent on injury.] CHANEY: DOUBLE SUBMISSION HOLDS LOCKED IN!!! WATTERS: This is brutal! Get it? CHANEY: Yes, Larry, I get it. WATTERS: The referee can't focus one either man long enough to get a break and the match is over so threatening a disqualification isn't going to work! CHANEY: This could be the last time we see the Trailer Park Assassinz at this rate! WATTERS: Well they need to gain weight and skill, so it may be a positive. [The crowd goes from boos to cheers as they erupt at the sight of Big Boss Hogg lumbering down the aisle and into the ring. Much larger than either Prince or Paris, the moment he enters the ring, the two tag teamers let go of their hold and exit as fast as they can. The Revival hop the rail and exit through an aisle in the crowd as popcorn and etc are thrown toward them.] CHANEY: BIG BOSS HOGG OUT TO HELP HIS GUYS!!! WATTERS: It's about damn time somebody showed up. They were left orphaned out there! CHANEY: Hogg clears the ring and saves their skin! Big Daddy's here to even the odds! WATTERS: Might be the only "daddy" those two ever knew! [Hogg leans over and starts trying to talk to the young men he is mentoring. Brutalizer has sat up, but Destruktor is in bad shape after eating that power bomb/back breaker combo. Hogg is trying to help him sit up.] CHANEY: That is uncalled for Larry! WATTERS: I'm just calling it like I see it! [Suddenly...John Phillip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever" begins to play and the crowd goes white hot with hate as Agents Lincoln and Washington step out flanking Lexi Darlington on each side. She points to the ring and the men take off in a flat sprint, sliding into the ring and both jump on Boss Hogg.] CHANEY: BORDER CONTROL IS OUT AND GOING AFTER BOSS HOGG!!! WATTERS: Christmas in August! This is great! CHANEY: Lexi Darlington has her agents out here and really going to work on the big guy! WATTERS: Lexi is a mastermind! Never go against a women with a brain, Chaney! [Lexi rushes to get on the ring apron as Hogg starts fighting back against the Agents as best he can. Brutalizer has gotten to his feet and is standing right next to Lexi. He turns to look at her and she leaps backward, flailing her arms as if she was punched. Lexi lands on the ringside floor and the agents immediately stop what they are doing.] CHANEY: LEXI DARLINGTON HITS THE FLOOR!!! WATTERS: BRUTALIZER KNOCKED HER TO THE FLOOR!!! CHANEY: He did not!!! He never touched her! She jumped back off there by her own volition! WATTERS: All I know is that they were standing near each other and then suddenly she was on the floor and unconscious! [Washington and Lincoln exit the ring and begin to fawn over Lexi, who is selling this as if she was just shot from a sniper. Washington picks her up and Lincoln points at Brutalizer as if he committed the ultimate sin. Brutalizer holds his arms out wide as if clueless to what happened, but the camera catches Lexi opening her eyes and winking at the masked wrestler before Washington turns and carries her limp body out of the arena.] CHANEY: SHE WINKED!!! SHE WINKED!!! DID YOU NOT SEE THAT?!?!?! WATTERS: See what? CHANEY: She set up Brutalizer with the prat fall off the ring apron! What a conniving, backstabbing, evil.... WATTERS: (interrupting) YES!!! Isn't she wonderful?!?! CHANEY: Border Control have to know that their manager staged this. WATTERS: I don't think so and I wouldn't want to be Brutalizer next time they cross paths. [The three men in the ring are now all standing as Hogg shakes his head with one hand one each member of the Assassinz. All three look as if they don't know what is going on.] CHANEY: Hogg and the boys are in the ring and they don't know what just happened! WATTERS: Oh they know! Brutalizer attacked Lexi Darlington and now there will be payback! CHANEY: That didn't happen, Larry! WATTERS: You try explaining that to some pissed off agents, Chaney! [The screen cuts away...]
[The camera fades backstage in the parking lot and you see Caleb Foley standing in the same exact spot we last saw him at the last Rampage. He stands their with his arms out and he begins to speak.] FOLEY: Any man who would vandalize another's man car is nothing more than a coward. You wanted my attention. Well whoever you are. You got it. I hope you understand what you are getting yourself into with me because The Celtic Crippler is BACK! [Foley turns around and you see that he has a some attitude in his words by looking at his eyes.] FOLEY: Tonight is when everything comes together for me. Alfie Button and I are both undefeated in this bracket. So whoever wins will definitely not only have bragging rights but faces the runner up in Bracket C. Alfie I respect you for what you have accomplished not only in this tournament but as a man. You have the IT factor. You know it. I know it. The fans know it. This will be my toughest battle to date and I am looking forward to it. [Caleb begins to walk away from the parking spot and towards the door to arena.] FOLEY: So I saw we go out there tonight and we give them not fifteen minutes but thirty minutes of nonstop action. We get knocked down. We get up. We counter. We fight. We put on a five star classic. We give these fans what they want to see. We show the entire world why SCW is the place to be. Good luck tonight Alfie and may the best man win. [Caleb flashes a smile towards the camera. It begins to fades as Foley enters the building.]
[As commercials begin to play, this one runs first.] [The screen is black and we hear a very low booming voice come over the black screen.] VOICE OVER: There are millions of ways to find out more about the SCW and it's superstars. But here is the best way... [The screen stays black as we hear a mouse click and then the screen goes to static for a second. Finally when the static leaves, we see the main page of the SCW Web site.] VOICE OVER: The internet. SCW is now on the internet with all sorts of information about your favorite wrestling superstars. There are the current results and fan reactions and the ever popular Title Histories page. [The screen shows a mouse pointer being moved over to the side menu and clicking on the link to show the Forum blog.] VOICE OVER: There is even a blog to interact with your favorite SCW superstar! See what your favorite wrestler has to say away from the ring. [The mouse pointer goes over to the side menu and clicks on the roster link.] VOICE OVER: You can even see the vital statistics on all of your favorite SCW superstars. Where did they come from and why did they begin wrestling? It is all inside the roster section waiting to be explored. [The screen switches to show the mouse clicking on the rumors page link.] VOICE OVER: Go to the rumor section to find out some information that even the SCW leadership may not want the public to see. It is all here right now, and you have to do is point and click. [The screen shows the mouse going back to the home page and the logo from the screen literally jumps from the computer screen to fill the entire screen.] VOICE OVER: Yes SCW has gone cyber with their new web site. So get you hook up here! [The voice trails off and we see the logo stay on the screen as the following URL come just under the logo] http://www.scw.fwrestling.com/ [Fade to black.]
[As action breaks for a brief moment, the camera opens up back stage. Appearing on the screen stood Michael Wilson, with his broad back to the camera as his palms rested against the gray concrete wall while his wet dirty blonde hair dripped onto the back of his tee- shirt, as his head was cocked back looking up to the ceiling above. Wilson's lower body was clad in his black glossy wrestling trunks, with the words "#BESTEVER" plastered across the rear in bright white lettering. Wilson wore his vintage black tee-shirt as it caressed tightly onto his toned upper body, across the back of the black tee-shirt in white lettering read "IN HEEL WE TRUST" As everyone watched and listened intently, Wilson took a long breath and shook his head slightly as his voice was heard.] WILSON: "Last week was another atrocity committed by the likes of the SCW, and their idiotic officiating staff." [Wilson paused briefly for another moment, before slapping his right palm against the gray concrete wall, and speaking again with a little more gusto.] WILSON: "An ABSOLUTE ATROCITY. An ABSOLUTE DISGRACE." [Wilson shook his head once more then turned to finally face the camera, his jaw moved side to side as he chewed a piece of gum, before cracking a slight grin. Wilson parted his lips once more as he tilted his head slightly to the side.] WILSON: "Last week I was disqualified because I was beating on the neighborhood drunk? Are we serious here? Is that what SCW is about? Treating trash like babies? Allowing the referees to discriminate actual talent?" [Wilson let out a little laugh and continued to chew his gum. Wilson took a breath, while his nostrils flared before continuing.] WILSON: "I'm over it. I'm over the disrespect and mockery. I beat Flanagan from pillar to post and I get disqualified because he's too inebriated to just give up? The SCW is going to learn the hard way, starting tonight." [Wilson chewed his gum some more before taking his right hand and stroking his five o'clock shadowed chin, continuing.] WILSON: "Tonight the tournament continues for me, and abruptly ends for Bam Markham. Tonight, the SCW brass realizes what exactly they have on their hands and what exactly they've created. I was placed in the group of death for a reason, understand and believe that." [Wilson extended his hand and pointed his index finger out to the lens of the camera before turning and jabbing it intensely into his pectoral.] WILSON: "I'm the final face that Bam Markham and the rest of the group of death sees. Tonight will not just end Bam Markham's tournament dreams, but tonight will be the end of Bam Markham's stay here in MY, SCW. Tonight is the final stamp and the final sealing mark that I will put on the SCW. Tonight, when I finish with Bam Markham and solidify my rank at the top of the SCW food chain, the SCW Brass and idiotic officiating staff will have NO choice but to bow down and look up at me as the savior I am..." [Wilson grinned and extended his arms in what seemed like an "open embrace" as his icy blue orbs looked into the lens of the camera.] WILSON: "And once that feeling and realization has come to fruition and it's inevitably established, all I ask ....Is anyone, anywhere who wants to be respected, and who wants to know nothing but the absolute truths of this industry. I ask you to simply heed my words ...Trust the process. Follow my lead." [Wilson gave a wink to the camera and slowly walked off screen as Rampage continued on.]
[The screen returns to the announce table and our broadcast team ready to roll.] WATTERS: I tell you something, Chaney, that guy is one of my favorites in SCW right now. CHANEY: Michael Wilson will be in Group D action a little later tonight against big Bam Markham. WATTERS: That group of death is a killer. Any one of those guys had been placed in the other groups, and this tournament would look VERY different. CHANEY: I have to agree, but that is why they call it a group of death! WATTERS: Not like Group A. CHANEY: What is your problem with Group A? WATTERS: That one is all but locked the day they drew it up! We all know Alfie Button and Caleb Foley are the favorites there. CHANEY: Even though they face off tonight in the Group A match? WATTERS: Even thought they all still have matches left. These two are evenly matched and both undefeated in SCW. CHANEY: That is true. WATTERS: The only man worth anything in that group is El Principe and he can't catch whomever wins this match. CHANEY: Well I disagree with your assessment, Larry, but you are right in the implications. The winner of this match does assure a quarterfinal bid in the tournament. WATTERS: Shocker! CHANEY: Let's head to the ring and see which of these great performers will punch their ticket to the next stage!
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]
[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is a Group A match int he Lonestar Title Tournament and is set for one fall and has a fifteen-minute time limit! Introducing first, Introducing first, hailing from London, England, and weighing in at two hundred and four pounds. Here is... A L F I E B U T T O N ! ! ! [Gala's 'Freed from Desire' gave the SCW spectators an opportunity to stand up, have a dance and enjoy the charismatic cockney's entrance. Alfie Button, wearing a purple jacket to his kneecaps, and tights capturing various shades of turquoise, yellow, pink and red looks like a cross between Elton John, Randy Savage and Rod Stewart, especially with his mane and jet black hair flowing. Alfie asks for the music to be cut just as he's approaching ringside and he takes off his jacket and sprints into the squared circle, raising his arms to the crowd and getting an ovation. Then he stands in the ring awaiting his opponent.] CHANEY: Alfie Button out here to prove he is the top dog in Group A! WATTERS: He may be the top douche, but hey both start with a D anyway. CHANEY: That is uncalled for. WATTERS: I coudl have called him the other word that starts with a D. CHANEY: Larry! WATTERS: And you say I can't control myself. (chuckles) [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent... ["Loyal to No-One" by The Dropkick Murphy's plays over the PA as the arena goes completely silent.] #I first meet this man at the Cammen street Tracks # #In no shape for success headed nowhere to fast# #He may have been someone once by the sound of his call # #Now he answers to no one# #NO-ONE AT ALL!# [A hooded man stands at the entrance just bouncing to the beat of the music. His head is down so his face is completely covered. The man lifts up his head to reveal that it is none other Caleb Foley and the crowd has absolutely exploded now with cheers.] #We all die alone, he shouted as he passed# #With no sense of regret, see he never looked back# #Though his pride was wounded, his ego was strong# #Yea that was his Trouble and this is his Song# #You said we die alone, in this case you were right# #No friends by your side or family in sight# #There'll be no talking your way out this time# #So don't count the cash cause you leave it behind# BUFFINGTON: Hailing from Dublin, Ireland and weighing in at two hundred-fifteen pounds. Here is... "T H E C E L T I C C R I P P L E R" C A L E B F O L E Y ! ! ! [Caleb pulls the hood off his head and reveals a new hairstyle his reddish hair completely slicked back and a full red beard with a black goatee. Caleb begins to walk down the entrance when he stops, he bends down and pounds his knuckles to the ground and his points up to the sky as a tribute to his deceased father. Foley continues to walk down to the ring as the fans are chanting his name but seems not to really be interacting with them as much as his once did. Foley is looking in the ring and he seems to mean business. Foley slides underneath the bottom rope and begins to stretch against the ropes.] CHANEY: Foley is in the ring and this will be a fan's delight as both love the crowd. WATTERS: Is this what they call a "shepherd's pie match?" CHANEY: What? WATTERS: You know...appealing to the sheep and only the sheep? [Both men are in their respective corners, eyeing each other up, like two runners waiting for the starting gun...] DING! DING DING! [Caleb charges out the corner and Alfie BARELY dodges his spear! He goes for a Superkick, but Foley blocks and strikes back with a European Uppercut that Alfie answers with one of his own! The two begin teeing off, exchange fast, brutal hits in the centre of the ring!] CHANEY: Back and forth, back and forth! Look at these two men go! WATTERS: Neither one of them is going to give ground tonight, Chaney! It's a hot start and I love it! [Foley's got more brawling experience and he gets the upper hand, shooting Alfie towards the ropes. But Button's speed let's him duck Caleb's clothesline and come of the ropes with the Red Button!] CHANEY: Foley NARROWLY avoids Alfie's finisher! This match could have been over right there! WATTERS: Indeed, but that crash landing from Alfie has left him in a vulnerable position. [Yes it has as Foley tries for a standing moonsault, only for Alfie to evade that and capitalise with...] CHANEY: Heeeere's...Alfie!! [The running SSP connects and the cover is made!] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................KICKOUT!! WATTERS: First cover of the match and it's a solid two count. Looks like both guys are trying to hit their big guns early. CHANEY: You're right Larry, and it looks like Alfie is going for the biggest gun in his armoury! WATTERS: His ego? CHANEY: ...The SECOND biggest gun in his armoury! Season's Finale! WATTERS: Oh! But Foley rolling under the bottom rope to-WOW!!! [That cry of shock is in response to Alfie, who, having leaped onto the top rope for Season's Finale, suddenly changes course to run along the top rope like a trapeze artist and FLY out the ring with a suicide senton bomb!!] CROWD: Holy shit! Holy Shit Holy Shit! CHANEY: What on Earth was THAT! WATTERS: Hello? 911? I'd like to report that we've just seen the laws of physics murdered in front of us. [Still riding high from that stunt, Alfie rolls Caleb Foley back into the ring and goes up top.] CHANEY: Frog splash to Foley's back from Alfie Button! He rolls him over, going to the other corner! Looking for an Action Replay! WATTERS: Oof! Foley gets the knees up. That kids, is why you don't show off. [Caleb rolls them over so he's in a mount over Alfie and starts raining down forearms, but the slippery little Brit reverses the mount so that HE's on top. GET OFF THE SHOW, TAKEI!!...Anyway. Now in a dominant position, Alfie arrogantly slaps his opponent across the face.] WATTERS: BIG mistake. [Foley suddenly grabs Alfie and yanks him down, throat first, against the middle rope! As Button falls back, clutching his throat, the Celtic Crippler rolls him up for a schoolboy pin!] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................KICKOUT!! CHANEY: Solid kickout by Alfie and now he's backing away, getting some good distance from his opponent. WATTERS: Mostly because everyone of his moves needs it. [The two take a second to shake out the cobwebs. Caleb beckons Alfie for a lockup, and Alfie, being his typical self, accepts.] CHANEY: Side-headlock takedown by Foley, Alfie able to reverse into a headscissor lock. WATTERS: I give Foley the edge in technique here, but Alfie's speed and flexibility count for something. CHANEY: Foley looking for a way out of that headscissors... and he's found it. He's got, Alfie's legs in a grapevine on the mat, perhaps a cloverleaf? No, chaining into a sideheadlock... WATTERS: And that was a mistake. Switching holds gave Alfie the opportunity to slip out of his grip. [Alfie attack with a dropkick, but Foley dodges. Foley retaliates with his own dropkick, but ALFIE dodges. The two try to fire simultaneous dropkicks at each other, with BOTH colliding before the two kip up in stereo!] CHANEY: The crowd's certainly enjoying this! WATTERS: It must be like looking in a mirror for these two! [Both men hit the ropes, but Alfie is the quicker and scores with a swift rana that sends Foley tumbling out the ring! ] CHANEY: Alfie's looking to fly again! WATTERS: Foley sees it coming- WOAH! [Foley's knee, intended to catch Alfie, instead hits the air as Alfie backflips AWAY from Foley and does a full corkscrew to land on his feet in the ring before bowing to his audience!] CHANEY: You can take Alfie out of The Entertainers, but you can't take the entertainer out of Alfie. WATTERS: Cocky prick. [Judging from the annoyed look on Caleb's face, he seems to agree. He's about to re-enter the ring when a baseball slide from Alfie Button knocks him back out! ] WATTERS: Ha! [Growling, Foley tries again, but again he's knocked back out!] CHANEY: Alfie is having FAR too much fun trolling his opponent. WATTERS: I'm having fun too! If he wins like this, I'm not gonna be able to stop laughing for the rest of the WEEK! [A third try is NOT the charm however, as Foley dodges out of the way and delivers a PAINFUL knee to Alfie's ribs before tossing him down onto the floor! ] WATTERS: Oof! Looks like Foley didn't get the joke. [Caleb can be seen yelling something at Alfie, that, unfortunately, the mic isn't able to pick up over the crowd. Though given the rather large vein, it's probably a safe bet that he was NOT saying: “Oh, goodness me, my dear old friend, are you quite alright?”] CHANEY: Looks like Foley took exception to Button toying around with him like that. WATTERS: Hell, I've beaten a man' ass for less. [Button is unceremoniously tossed back into the ring, and a few seconds later, he's being acquainted with Caleb Foley's bootheel, thanks to a springboard dropkick.] CHANEY: Caleb darn near kicked his head off!! WATTERS: Ow! And it just got worse for Alfie! A spear, followed by a standing moonsault! CHANEY: And we all know what THAT'S prelude for! Air! Dubli- No! Alfie manages to duck under! Foley flips over Alfie to land behind him! Match of the day by Alfie! [Button follows that move up with a kip-up, followed by a full on Pele Kick!] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................KICKOUT!! [Alfie is quick to stay on offense though. Grabbing Caleb for the Weakest Link (Kneeling DDT)] ALFIE: You are the Weakest Link! Goodb-!!” [Suddenly, Caleb pushes forward, picks Alfie off his feet and RAMS him into the corner before going to town on him with punches until the referee has to pull Foley off. An incensed Foley gets into a shouting match with the referee about how Alfie's been taking the piss out of their match, but that give Alfie all the cover he needs to NAIL Foley with a superkick!] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................NO! REF SEES CALEB'S FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE! [Now it's Alfie's turn to show some annoyance as he drags Foley back into the center of the ring. ] CHANEY: He sets him up! Heeeere's- WATTERS: A pair of knees from Foley! [Yes, Alfie had given his foe enough time to catch his bearings and give him a VERY bad landing. And now Foley picks Alfie up and drives him down on his knee again with a gutbuster, before tossing him overhead with a gutwrench suplex! As a winded Alfie struggles to scramble back to the corner to get some distance from the Celtic Crippler, he instead finds himself BLASTED into said corner thanks to a Shotgun Dropkick!] CHANEY: Foley taking control! Hip toss followed by a cartwheel, dropkicks! WATTERS: Right to the ribs again! It's a solid strategy. If Alfie's struggling to breathe, he's gonna find it harder to do all those acrobatics he's known for. [Now with some control, Foley locks in a bodyscissors on Alfie, keeping him grounded.] CHANEY: It looks like Caleb Foley is trying to slow down this match's pace. We don't often see that from Foley, what do you think, Larry? WATTERS: Again, it's a solid plan. Caleb is quick, but Alfie is quicker. We've seen that already. Foley's got the edge on the mat though, and that's where he should keep it. CHANEY: And Foley rolls Alfie into a cover! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................NO!!! WATTERS: Nope! Alfie rolls out of it. Foley still has that bodyscissor applied! CHANEY: But that roll put Alfie closer to the ropes! He's reaching out with his legs! Can he get it... Yes! [Alfie managed to get his foot on the bottom rope, forcing Caleb to release. As Alfie rolls out the ring, gingerly clutching his ribs and Foley eyes him like a hawk, an announcement is heard:] THE BUFF: Five minutes have passed. I repeat. Five minutes have passed! CHANEY: We are a third through this match! WATTERS: And right now, Foley is in full control! [Foley goes on the offense! Slingshotting himself out the ring, but Alfie sees this coming and dodges out the way! Foley must have expected this, though because instead of crashing to the mat, Foley lands on his feet! He spins around just in time to block a superkick form Alfie and throw the leg away, striking back with a clothesline that Alfie dodges with a back bump, then kip up. Unfortunately, that instinctual dodge seems to wind Alfie and Caleb scores with a running neckbreaker on the mat!] CHANEY: Boom! Right on the back of his neck! [Picking Alfie up, Caleb rolls him in the ring. But Alfie has enough energy to roll back out the ring so that he's around the corner from Foley with the ring steps between them.] WATTERS: Smart. Not letting him capitalise. [Gritting his teeth, Foley moves in for the kill-] CHANEY: Oh, God! Alfie just Dropkicked the ringsteps into Foley's knee! WATTERS: That knee's given him trouble for years! This could completely change the match! [Both men are laying now as the ref counts. Foley clutching at his knee, while Alfie still hasn't recovered from that neckbreaker before.] SEVEN!! WATTERS: They need to get in that ring fast! Neither of them wants a count out! EIGHT!! [Both of them are struggling to stand.] NINE!! [A dive, and both of them JUST make it into the ring! For a few seconds, both lie there, breathing deeply. Then they begin to pick themselves up. Foley has a slight limp, while Alfie seems to be wincing with every breath.] WATTERS: Bad knee vs bad ribs... [Alfie makes the first move. He goes for an irish whip, but Caleb is slightly stronger and manages to plant his feet to block it, but that gives Alfie an opening to dropkick his knee!] CHANEY: Direct hit! Right on the money! [A kneebreaker follows it up, followed by an attempt at a kneebar, but Foley slips out of Alfie's grip and then manages to suddenly catch an incoming Alfie in a fireman's carry! He grabs Alfie in a front chancery and tries for the Celtic Horns (Horns of Aries), but as he bridges, Alfie kicks his feet out from under him to break the bridge. Shifting grips, Alfie rises to his feet. Pulling Caleb up with him...] CHANEY: Swinging Reverse STO from Alfie! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................KICKOUT!! [Aflie slaps the mat. Now he's looking around, pondering what he can do.] WATTERS: Alfie might be in trouble here... CHANEY: What do you mean? He looks in firm control at the moment. WATTERS: But in order to STAY in control right now, he needs to stay in close, work the leg and slow down the pace so he doesn't make it worse on his own ribs. The problem is that almost every one of Alfie's moves requires distance or going up top or running the ropes and that gives the other guy time to recover. Kid is so focused on flash he's forgetting his fundamentals. [True to Larry's prediction, Alfie has gone up top, but this has bought Foley enough time to dash up there with him.] CHANEY: AVALANCHE BELLY TO BELLY!! WATTERS: Good God!! [Both men CRASH onto the mat! Their bodies bouncing and rolling before coming to a halt! Alfie isn't moving, while Foley clutches at his knee. The dash up top having exasperated the damage. Not to mention the impact he himself had suffered. Stumbling over to a prone Alfie, he grabs the brit by the head and tries to knee-] CHANEY: SMALL PACKAGE!! WATTERS: ALFIE PLAYED POSSUM!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................FOLEY BREAKS FREE!! [A headbutt SMACKS into Foley's skull...To very little effect.] WATTERS: I can summarise Alfie's expression right now in one word: 'Oops.' CHANEY: I think he wanted to prove he could beat Caleb at his own game. WATTERS: He can't. CHANEY: FOLEY FLOORS ALFIE WITH HIS OWN HEADBUTT!! WATTERS: And that'd be why. CHANEY: Standing Moonsaut from Foley! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................BUTTON KICKS OUT!! WATTERS: Button may be a moronic show off, but I have to give him credit. He's resilient. CHANEY: It used to be his greatest weakness. The young man has certainly made great strides to improve his staying power. [Meanwhile, Foley has dragged Alfie into the corner. Looking for his top rope cartwheel into split-legged moonsault!] CHANEY: DUBLIN DELIVER- NOBODY HOME!! [Yes, Alfie had escaped and in a flash of speed, leaps onto the second rope and off again for Thunder in Paradise (Middle Rope Rolling Thunder DDT)!!] CHANEY: Alfie drops him! This could be his chance! [But instead of going for the pin, Alfie rolls out the ring. Holding his ribs and breathing deeply.] WATTERS: Hmm... using the time that move bought him to recover. This could bite him, or it could be just what he needs. [Alfie gives a strained smile and a thumbs up to the crowd, as if to say: “I'm okay, I'm okay!” Foley has recovered now too though, and goes right after Alfie! But Alfie rolls back IN the ring, forcing Caleb to give chase! As Foley slides in after him, Alfie hits the ropes to try and blindside Caleb, but this time the Celtic Crippler is one step ahead and catches Alfie with a hurricanrana!] CHANEY: WOW!! [But in a show of agility, Alfie does a full flip and lands on his feet! Strutting in a display of arrogance that was so typically Alfie. So... Pop Quiz. Why is turning your back on and strutting in front of a guy who's already shown he's REALLY tired of your crap a very bad idea?] CHANEY: CALEB BLASTS ALFIE WITH A FOREARM TO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD!! [Foley whips Alfie into the corner and CRUSHES him in there with a clothesline! Following it up with a barrage of headbutts before stepping back. Alfie stumbles out of the corner, wobbling on his feet before he flops face-first on the mat like a certain North Carolina legend.] WATTERS: Ooh.. Foley really did a number on him there. [Caleb drags Alfie out of the corner and tries for Celtic Horns again, but Alfie grabs onto his bad knee to block him from bridging. Caleb tries to fight out, but Alfie begins to rise while lifting his opponent...] CHANEY: ALABAMA SLAM FROM ALFIE BUTTON!! WATTERS: What a move! We don't see that kind of power from Alfie often!! [The crowd cheers, and even Alfie has a look of “Holy crap, I'm AWESOME!” on his face. He goes for the pin, but his gloating has given Caleb enough time to recover and he traps Alfie in a sudden Triangle Choke! Alfie's eyes bug wide! His breathing is already hard, this is the last position he wants to be in! He tries getting his foot on the ropes, but Caleb rolls them into the centre of the ring! He tries to lift Caleb, but he's already hit ONE big power move, and he doesn't have the strength to pull off another so soon after. One final attempt to get out...] CHANEY: Alfie rolls it into a bridging pin! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................KICKOUT!! [Both of them are slowly climbing to their feet now. Staring each other down. Looking for an opportunity.] THE BUFF: Ten Minutes have passed. I repeat, ten minutes have passed! [Both their eyes widen! There are only five minutes left in this match?! Immediately, Alfie tries to dash to the ropes, but Caleb grabs his tights, pulling him back into a waistlock. Alfie switches behind Caleb though and tries to roll him up!] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TW......................KICKOUT!! [Both men are up! The racing clock giving them the desperation to push through their injuries! Superkick from Alfie! Caleb has his hands up to block, but it's a feint and Alfie superkicks Caleb's KNEE instead! Caleb is bent double, clutching at his legs and Alfie hits the ropes for Red Button (Chuck Kick), but Caleb rolls out the way and comes in for a spear that Alfie dodges! Hitting the ropes again! SEASON'S FINA-...] CHANEY: CALEB SPEARS HIM OUT OF THE AIR!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................ALFIE BARELY KICKS OUT IN TIME!! [Alfie is lying still, and Caleb knows he needs to take this opportunity. He tries to hit the ropes for Air Dublin, but Alfie grabs a hold of his leg, trying to keep him from running to the ropes, only for Caleb to pull the leg closer and pull Alfie into a headlock takeover!] CHANEY: Now he has some room! Air Dublin! WATTERS: No! CHANEY: Alfie Caught him! Roll The Credits! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................CALEB KICKS OUT AT THE LAST MICROSECOND!! [Caleb grabs Alfie in a Sleeper, but the time is running down and he doesn't have time for a weardown hold. Letting go, he dashes up to the top rope. Adrenaline blocking out the pain in his leg. CHANEY: 450! [No! Alfie rolls out the way, but Foley rolls with the landing and is up on his feet! Going for Air Dublin again! Wait! He stumbles on the bad knee! Alfie catches him from behind! Pulling him into a Sleeper!] CHANEY: BUT CALEB ROLLS THEM BACK INTO A PIN! WATTERS: That's how he beat Johnson! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................STILL NOT ENOUGH!! CHANEY: What does it take?! What does it take to beat either man?! WATTERS: I think both of them are asking the same thing! [Alfie and Caleb are on their knees, defiantly pressing their foreheads against each other. Punch from Foley! Punch from Button! The two begin laying into each other in the centre of the ring! Neither man giving any ground! Caleb eventually gets the better of the exchange and whips Alfie into the ropes, only for Alfie to blindside him with the Wheel of Fortune (Corkscrew Elbow)!! With his opponent down, Alfie takes a few seconds to catch his breath. Rising to his feet, he fixes his gaze on the ropes.] CHANEY: I think it's time for the finale! [Alfie dashes to the ropes! Caleb, who has also gotten to his feet, lunges forward to spear Alfie out of the air again...Except Alfie isn't in the air. Instead, he drops down onto the apron and now sling himself back in the ring for a floatover suplex.] CHANEY: Alfie faked him out! Survey Sa-Wait! Caleb counters! Small Package! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................BUTTON ROLLS IT OVER HIMSELF!!! CHANEY: Small package from Alfie! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................KICKOUT!! [Both men down on their knees, Caleb scores with a European uppercut as the timer ticks down. With Alfie briefly stunned, Caleb hits the ropes, going for Air Dublin again! But Alfie suddenly ducks low and grabs Caleb from behind, lifting him up on his shoulders in an inverted death valley driver position!] WATTERS: No way... No, he couldn't be... CHANEY: OH MY GOD! ALFIE HAS HIM SET UP! BURNING HA-!! No! [In a lifesaving counter, Caleb drops down and counters Alfie's attempt into an Orton style backbreaker!] CHANEY: Caleb Foley might have saved himself right there! WATTERS: Saved himself is right, Chaney! Forget the match, that could have been Caleb's career. This is what this tournament means to these wrestlers! This is what it means to be SCW champion! That they're willing to use even the most dangerous move in professional wrestling, just to score a pin! THE BUFF: Three minutes remain! I repeat, Three minutes remain! CHANEY: They may have to go to those lengths! This match is almost over! [Foley has the upper hand now, and tries to spear Alfie, but just like earlier, Alfie dodges and tries for the Red Button that ALSO misses, As Alfie crashes down, Foley hits the ropes, going for Air Dublin! But Alfie drops low and Caleb crashes into the mat!] CHANEY: ALFIE LOOKING TO END IT! SEASON'S FINAL-! WATTERS: HE CAUGHT HIM!! CHANEY: CALEB FOLEY JUST CAUGHT ALFIE IN MIDAIR! HOLDING HIM UP FOR A SUPLEX! WHAT AN AMAZING DISPLAY OF POWER! [Foley runs towards the ropes, looking to dump Alfie out the ring....And that's when his knee gives out] [It had held up through much of this match. But trying to run while holding the body of Alfie Button was too much, and BOTH men go tumbling out the ring, catching themselves on the apron in a gross tangle of limbs as they splatter on the floor! The commentary team is in shock! Many fans look on in horror! That did NOT look good! The referee drops down, and the fans wait as he goes to check on both competitors. Waiting for the dreaded 'X' But both Caleb and Alfie have started to move. They're hurt, but they're STILL fighting. CHANEY: What a display of courage by both men tonight. WATTERS: It's why they're here. I might not like either one of them, but they've earnt this victory. Whoever wins. [To win though, they need to get back in the ring.] ONE!! . . . . . . [Easier said than done, both were exhausted, hurt. The adrenaline has long since worn off.] . . . . . . TWO!!. . . . . . . [Alfie is a little bit closer, but he had caught the brunt of the impact on the way down!] . . . . . . THREE!!. . . . . . . [Foley is trying to stand, but he can only manage a weak limp.] . . . . . . FOUR!! . . . . . . [Alfie is trying to use the ring steps to climb into the ring.] . . . . . . FIVE!! . . . . . . [Foley stumbles into the barricade.] . . . . . . SIX!! . . . . . . [He uses it to brace himself. Half limping, half crawling to where Alfie is.] . . . . . . SEVEN!! . . . . . . [Alfie, meanwhile, has collapsed onto the mat. All the energy and stamina having left his body. He's running on fumes now!] . . . . . . EIGHT!! . . . . . . . . [Caleb has caught up to wear Alfie is. Both men resting against the apron.] . . . . . . NINE!! . . . . . . [Their eyes lock.... And they move. One final push to get into the ring...] . . . . . . TEN!!. . . . . . . HERE IS YOUR WINNER AS THE RESULT OF A COUNTOUT...!!! . . . . . . ALFIE!! BUTTON!!! WATTERS: SWEET MERCY, YOU COULD NOT HAVE CUT THAT ANY CLOSER!! [Foley enters the ring and the two men shake hands and give an exhausted man-hug as the crowd cheers loudly.] CHANEY: What sportsmanship right there! WATTERS: They waged a war of attrition and Button barely survived. These two may not be the same moving forward. CHANEY: Alfie Button takes the leg up on the group with fifty points and Foley takes his first SCW loss! WATTERS: At least I'm happy about the former pimp getting defeated. About damn time! [The screen cuts away...]
[We cut backstage where Tess Wiley is standing in the SCW interview area when suddenly El Principe wanders into shot and snatches the microphone.] WILEY: Hey! [Principe glares at her and tells her to leave with his index finger.] WILEY: You should really learn some manners, mister. PRINCIPE: Deberías aprender algo de espanol. Ahora vete de aqui. [Tess may not have understood Principe's command word for word, but she felt the hostility behind the message and exits left, calling him a glass bowl or words to that effect. Mind you, his crowd resembles one! No, I don't tell him that to his mask.] PRINCIPE: La semana pasada lo hicimos, Larry. Mi mala suerte termino y ahora es el momento de lograr 2 victorias en 2 peleas. [The Crown Prince of Lucha Libre clicks his fingers trying to recall information.] PRINCIPE: Como se llama el chico? El jefe o algo asi. No lo se. No me importa. Eres un criminal en la calle y es a donde volveras si sabes lo que es mejor para ti. [The blue-and-gold clad luchador holds up two fingers, no, not in that way.] PRINCIPE: SCW, tengo dos noticias para ti: El Príncipe regreso y quiero un buen entrevistador en el futuro. [The screen fades and cuts away.]
[The scene cuts to the backstage area where there are two men, a backdrop and a microphone - oh and a camera crew. The men are Johnny Psychotic and his mouthpiece Tiberius Nixon. Psychotic is dressed ready for action and stands slightly back from Nixon whilst he warms up for his match.] TIBERIUS NIXON: Well even though it wasn't quite the route we had in mind for getting there - this man behind me is in the quarter finals of the Lonestar Championship tournament and there's just one more match in the group to go and that will determine who wins the group as Johnny Psychotic takes on -- [Nixon stares deep into the camera.] TIBERIUS NIXON: "SAGAWA!" [He steps back slightly.] TIBERIUS NIXON: The self professed 'Hardcore Daredevil' goes one on one with the 'Human Heart Attack' to prove just who is the better man and the craziest bastard in the locker room. This one is not going to be pretty and as sure as water is wet it won't be a technical showcase but I can guarantee you that after the bell there will be a clear winner and the quarter finals brackets will be clearer than they are now. Because Johnny is going to overpower -- [Nixon stares deep into the camera.] TIBERIUS NIXON: "SAGAWA!" [He steps back slightly and then he and Johnny leave the backstage area heading for the ring.]
[The screen opens to the ringside announce crew and Larry is trying to hide his chuckling from being seen as Chaney stares at him annoyed.] WATTERS: I.....that's....so great! (chuckling) CHANEY: Tiberius Nixon making it known that this is *THE* match of the night in his mind. WATTERS: (somewhat mocking) "SAGAWA!" CHANEY: Larry! WATTERS: Seriosuly, that was classic! The "Stud Muffin" was calling out the cannibal! I like both of these guys, if I have to be honest, but that was just damn classic! CHANEY: Sagawa is on a short leash right now after the brawl with Chase Williams last Rampage. Do you think that will blunt his hard edge in the ring, Larry? WATTERS: Who? CHANEY: I'm not saying it that way, Larry. You know who. WATTERS: Who? CHANEY: (sighs) Sagawa. WATTERS: You didn't say it right. CHANEY: Oh for crying out loud. WATTERS: SAGAWA!!!! CHANEY: Can we just go to the ring and get this one started! Larry is driving me crazy! Take it away, Aaron!
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]
[We fade from the match graphic to the ring, where ring announcer Aaron Buffington is in position and ready to get things rolling with the next match-up.] BUFFINGTON: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, has a fifteen minute time limit, and will determine the winner of Group C in the Lonestar Title Tournament! Introducing first, from Long Island, New York - He weighs in tonight at two hundred-sixty- three pounds ... "T H E H U M A N H E A R T A T T A C K" J O H N N Y P S Y C H O T I C ! ! ! ["Take Me To The Hospital" by The Prodigy erupts over the PA as Johnny Psychotic steps out onto the entrance ramp, accompanied as always by Tiberius Nixon... Johnny wears a black one piece singlet in black and has a heart on the front of the singlet and the boots and "Human Heart Attack" on the butt... His shoulder length black hair is hanging loose... Nixon is wearing denim jeans, a denim shirt and cowboy boots... His rusty brown hair is tied back...] CHANEY: What a match we have on its way to the ring tonight. What we originally thought was going to be just another Lonestar Title Tournament Match-up, has not had the stakes raises all thanks to the suspension levied against "Conceited Bastard" Chase Williams. WATTERS: Don't remind me. [They stride down to the ring and Johnny slides under the bottom rope, clambers to his feet and climbs to the nearest middle turnbuckle while Nixon enters the ring by walking up the ring steps and stepping through the ropes... Psychotic drops back down into the ring and talks strategy with Nixon.] CHANEY: Both of these competitors have scored victories over Joe Public en route to tonight, and that has put them in a tie for first place. Tonight, we break that tie. WATTERS: And as we heard earlier tonight from Tiberius Nixon and Johnny Psychotic, they are ready to go. They are ready to claim the crown. They are ready for The Lonestar Championship. CHANEY: But to do that, their first step is to get through THIS MAN ... [The camera focuses once again on Aaron Buffington] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent!!! [Almost instantly, the lights inside The SCW fade to nothingness and the pounding entrance beat of Shinedown's "The Sound of Madness" fills the air.] o/~ Yeah, I get it you're an outcast o/~ Always under attack always coming in last o/~ Bringing up the past no one owes you anything o/~ I think you need a shotgun blast a kick in the ass o/~ So paranoid o/~ Watch your back! [A solitary spotlight soon finds its way to the end of the aisle, where the Japanese Born Superstar lurks in a crouched position - his eyes transfixed upon the squared circle that will soon play the role of his hunting ground. Dressed in well-worn off-white cargo shorts, the scarred beast who simply wants to be known as SAGAWA stalks his way down the aisle, arms outstretched towards the fans.] BUFFINGTON: Making his way to the ring at this time, now hailing from Aokigahara in Japan, he weighs in tonight at one hundred-ninety-three pounds ... This .. Is ... S A G A W A ! ! ! [Diving under the bottom rope, SAGAWA scurries to his feet and with his arms outstretched, spins around in circles - basking the adulation of the fans that have found a fondness for the Death Match Icon. Realizing he is getting dizzy, SAGAWA comes to a halt and backs up into his corner as he awaits the "Go" from the official.] CHANEY: You never quite know what you're going to get from this guy, do you? WATTERS: Nope. And it is that unpredictability that makes him a very dangerous man. Well that, and his bloodlust. And his disregard for rules. And he invulnerability. And this ... CHANEY: Point made. [Inside the ring, Aaron Buffington passes through the ropes as the official checks to make sure that both participants are ready to go. Once he feels comfortable, he turns towards the timekeeper and calls for the start of the match.] [DING! DING! DING!] [As the sound of the bell echoes throughout the arena both Johnny Psychotic and SAGAWA move out of their respective corners and towards the center of the ring - a confident smirk on the face of The Human Heart Attack. Pausing for a moment, he looks from his own hand and then up to the face of the Japanese Born Superstar, before extending a single fist for a fist bump.] CHANEY: Here we go folks! This one is for all the marbles. Whomever scores the win in this match- up, comes out of Group C as the victor for the entire block. [SAGAWA looks back at the extended fist of Psychotic, a clear look of confusion on his face. Then, suddenly, his lips upturn into a demented smile as he leans over the fist and lets a long and disgusting stream of spit flow from his mouth, onto the top of Psychotic's fist. Laughing in his low guttural tone, SAGAWA runs his hand over the top fo Johnny's hand - rubbing the saliva in.] CHANEY: Um ... WATTERS: Yeah, I got nothing. [While he may be caught a bit off guard by the antics of SAGAWA, Psychotic keeps a keen power face as he looks down at his spit covered fist. Pausing for a moment to contemplate, he opens his hand and turns it palm up as he clears his throat from deep down in his gullet, and "hocks a loogie" right into his open hand. Boggled, SAGAWA looks from the hand and up to Psychotic, who returns the favor by playfully pie-facing The Kochi Cannibal and rubbing the spit all in his face.] WATTERS: Jesus H. Christ! What is wrong with these two? [Psychotic throws his dreadlocked head back and lets out a deep belly laugh, only to find his tones being matched by an amused SAGAWA, who is laughing as well. Reaching up with both of his hands, the former Big Game Hunter takes hold of Psychotic's wrist, and without hesitation or any indication - digs his feet right into the fleshy tissue below Johnny's thumb.] CHANEY: He's biting him!!! [The official quickly begins a start on SAGAWA, but Psychotic doesn't even want to wait for the five seconds to pass as he grabs a hold of SAGAWA's face once again and pushes him backwards and into a roll. As he tries to shake the pain out of his hand, The Kochi Cannibal quickly gets back up to a vertical base and takes a wild swing at Johnny.] WATTERS: Right hand from SAGAWA - but Johnny ducks! Now a huge left, but again Psychotic dodges the shot! CHANEY: SAGAWA caught of guard by the uncanny speed of Johnny Psychotic and hesitates for a momen- Headbutt to SAGAWA's trapezius muscle and he has The Cannibal staggered! Forearm from Psychotic and a second! You can feel those strikes and you KNOW just how bad Johnny Psychotic wants this win tonight! [Each blow from Psychotic causes SAGAWA to stagger back towards the ropes, his arms flailing in dramatic fashion - before Johnny seizes his wrist and sends him for a ride with an Irish Whip. The Kochi Cannibal rebounds off the ropes and Psychotic extends his arm for a clothesline, but SAGAWA lowers his head and hits the opposite strands.] CHANEY: SAGAWA rebounds off the ropes, Psychotic swinging for a backhand to The Cannibal, but he ducks again! SAGAWA spingboards to the second rope, here comes Psychotic - ALETA!!! Psychotic goes flying but scurries back to his feet. [Charging towards Psychotic as he gets back to a vertical base, SAGAWA leaps into the air and twists his body so he locks The Human Heart Attack in an inverted body scissors. Wrapping his arms around the waist of SAGAWA, Johnny tries for a wheelbarrow attack but SAGAWA throws his body wildly, and hooks the arm - sending Psychotic flying again with an Aleta Armdrag.] WATTERS: A little bit of lucha from The Kochi Cannibal, and that HAD to catch Psychotic unaware. Johnny now back to his feet as SAGAWA charges in. Psychotic grabbing the waist of SAGAWA and spinning him 180 degrees before sitting him on the top rope. CHANEY: Psychotic going for an uppercut, but SAGAWA extends a leg and kicks him right in the crook of the arm! Johnny pulling the arm in tight against his body as he feels the effect of the kick, and SAGAWA leaps over Psychotic and charges across the hypotenuse of the ring. WATTERS: Big word, Chaney. [In one fluid motion, SAGAWA reaches the opposite corner and starts to vault himself over the top and to the apron, but shifts position so he lands on the second rope on the outside. Stepping up to the top he watches as Johnny Psychotic spins around and charges in towards him, only for SAGAWA to take to the air with knees bent - ] CHANEY: METEORAAAAAA!!! [THUD!] CHANEY: No! Psychotic with a forward roll, evading the Meteora and SAGAWA lands harshly, driving both kneecaps straight into the canvas! SAGAWA back up to his feet, but no ... He is favoring that left leg. [And like a shark that smells blood, Psychotic notices this stagger step and charges out of the corner with a basement dropkick that connects squarely with the shin of SAGAWA's right leg - throwing his base out from underneath him, and driving him face first into the mat.] WATTERS: SWEEP THE LEG, JOHNNY! CHANEY: You just had to go there, didn't you? WATTERS: It's what I do. [Swearing under his breath in his own special language, SAGAWA tries to push himself back up to his feet - but Psychotic is relentless and he charges in for what looks to be a chop-block, but at the last possible second he hooks the injured leg of SAGAWA and lifts it as high as he can, and depositing The Kochi Cannibal on the back of his skull - his gaunt form landing in an awkward position.] WATTERS: Nixon is absolutely eating this up as Psychotic takes a moment to celebrate - meanwhile Referee Barry Snider right there to see if SAGAWA can continue. CHANEY: SAGAWA stared this one like a house of fire, but it goes to show that one moment of over- zealousness can change the course of a match. [The camera closes in SAGAWA, who appears somewhat dazed as he pulls himself back into the corner and wails on his own knee with a closed fist - as if he were trying to knock something back into place. The official leans in to check, but SAGAWA waves him off, showing the intestinal fortitude that The Kochi Cannibal is known for.] CHANEY: SAGAWA not wanting to give it up - and that is all that Johnny Psychotic needs to know. The Human Heart Attack back on the offensive now as he reaches down and pulls at the ankle of The Wretch of Aokigahara. SAGAWA holding onto the ropes and pulling himself back to his feet in an attempt to keep Psychotic from doing too much dama- WATTERS: DRAGON SCREW LEG WHIP!!! CHANEY: And I don't know what sound that was that SAGAWA made, but it was an inhuman screech as Psychotic sends him sailing across the ring! But Johnny holds onto the ankle. [Clearly in his comfort zone as SAGAWA lays face up on the canvas, Psychotic swings a leg over the bent knee of The Cannibal and wrenches at it with a Stepover Toe Hold. Squatting a bit, Johnny puts his weight into it as SAGAWA looks around hoping that the ropes are within reach. But to ensure the effectiveness of the hold, Psychotic takes a step backwards and drags SAGAWA with him against his will.] CHANEY: SAGAWA is in one dangerous position as the ropes are well out of his reach. He is either going to have to escape, or else Psychotic has this one on lock. The official doing a great job getting in there to make sure that he can hear, should SAGAWA want to give it up. WATTERS: You can see the pain that is etched on the face of The Kochi Cannibal as he searches around frantically for a way to escape. Chaney, you know I love SAGAWA, but there is only so much pain that a man can tak- OOOOOH!!! [As Johnny Psychotic sneers down confidently at his fallen prey, SAGAWA extends an arm and defiantly raises a single finger - you know which one. But Johnny seems un-amused by the antics of the wildman as he uses his free hand to throw the finger right back at him.] CHANEY: Johnny Psychotic couldn't care less about what SAGAWA has to say, as he has a one track min - SAGAWA HAS HIS ARM! SMALL PACKAGE!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TH- CHANEY: KICKOUT!!! SAGAWA baited Psychotic right into a small package! But Psychotic kicked out but never released the leg! Psychotic now with a kneebar on the madman!!! WATTERS: Psychotic transitioning smoothly into another submission despite what SAGAWA was going for - and I have to say that I am damn impressed. Psychotic came here tonight for a W and he is well on his way to one. Nixon has managed to prepare Johnny for the unpredictability of the former Big Game Hunter. CHANEY: Psychotic is just yanking and twisting at that injured leg with all of his might and it looks like the lights are just about out on SAGAW- His shoulders are down! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . T- CHANEY: NO! SAGAWA comes to within inches of a loss! [His teeth digging into his lower lips as he sits up in the kneebar, SAGWAWA scans his eyes over the crowd as he attemps to rally them into his corner. And almost as if on cue, the fans in The Phoenix begin to clap their hands and stomp their feet in support of the maniac.] CHANEY: These fans are breathing new life into the battered body of The Kochi Cannibal, who has his hands planted on the mat and is slowly pulling himself towards the ropes. [At ringside, Tiberius Nixon waves his arms at the fans in an attempt to silence them - but it is all for naught as they grow louder with every passing moment. Despite the deep kneebar though, Johnny Psychotic begins to feel his body get tugged across the mat and inch at a time, until finally SAGAWA reaches out and drapes a single, solitary finger on the bottom rope. Referee Barry Snider is quick to begin a five count - but Psychotic holds onto his move until the last possible milisecond.] WATTERS: Psychotic staying well within the rules as he holds on for a 4.9. He knows what it takes to win ... but letting SAGAWA escape to the outside is not one of those things. [No sooner is the submission released, than SAGAWA seizes the bottom rope and pulls himself out to the apron of the ring to attempt some recovery. Realizing what is happening, Psychotic bails through the strands over the body of SAGAWA and to the floor. Turning on his heels, he grabs the leg of The Kochi Cannibal and lifts it high, before slamming it downward and into the steel of the ring apron - causing SAGAWA to scream once again.] CHANEY: Those screams of SAGAWA tell the story, as he is feeling the effects of this onslaught from The Human Heart Attack! Psychotic going right back in for the leg, but this time SAGAWA is waiting for him! [Placing both feet against the chest of Psychotic, SAGAWA pushes forward and drives him backwards - the small of his back connecting with the guardrail with a loud clank.] CHANEY: SAGAWA creating some distance now, as he hooks his arms into the ropes and tries to pull himself back to his feet on the apron. He is up, and has something in mind. WATTERS: Psychotic holding the small of his back, thanks to that unforgiving steel of the guardrail - and SAGAWA LEAPS! FRONT FACELOCK! TORNADO DD- CLANK! [As the fans gasp at what they just witnessed, a picture in picture shot shows a replay. Standing on the ring apron, favoring his leg, SAGAWA leaps forward towards a nearby Johnny Psychotic and locks in a front facelock. Twisting his body, he begins what looks like an attempt at a Tornado DDT - but at the last moment, Psychotic shoves him off and his shins connect violently with the cold metal guardrail that surrounds the ring. SAGAWA tries to save face, but instead finds himself colliding jaw first with the concrete floor of The SCW Arena.] CHANEY: There is only one word to describe that, and that word is ... WATTERS: GROSS. CHANEY: Works for me. Johnny Psychotic now moving in once again, but wait ... Nixon is stepping in his path and pointing back towards the ring. He is telling Psychotic to take the count-out! WATTERS: Hey, they are tied in points. Even a single point is enough to propel Psychotic to the top of the leader board. You really can't argue with that logic. And it looks like Johnny is going to listen as the count has already started ... FOUR! . . . . . . . . . . FIVE! . . . . . . . . . . SIX! [The ringside camera closes in on SAGAWA as he lays on the concrete, his body rolled up into a ball, as he favors both of his shins. Meanwhile overhead, Psychotic mounts the second rope and raises his arms in assumed victory as he leers down towards his fallen prey.] SEVEN! . . . . . . . . . . EIGHT! CHANEY: SAGAWA has to move now if he wants to beat that count! WATTERS: And that is just what he is doing! NINE! [Rolling over to his knees instinctively, SAGAWA lunges forward and dives under the bottom rope to break the count as the fans gasp a sigh of relief. However, as he rolls over onto his back and looks up, he sees the towering form of Johnny Psychotic as he holds his position on the second rope.] CHANEY: What is the old adage about out of the frying pan and into the fire? [Jumping down from the second rope, Psychotic makes the fall worth it as he plants a boot right between the eyes of The Kochi Cannibal. Taking his time. Deliberate. He reaches down and grabs the long ponytail of his opponent and pulls him up to a vertical base, SAGAWA peppering his midsection with a few weak punches.] WATTERS: Tonight is not SAGAWA's night at all. Psychotic with a big rolling elbow to the jaw, flooring an already dazed SAGAWA. I think he is going to be missing one or two of his teeth come tomorrow morning. CHANEY: Meanwhile Tiberius Nixon is overjoyed as he watches his charge absolutely decimating his opponent tonight. WATTERS: If you asked me a few weeks ago, I would have had Chase Williams winning the whole damn tournament - but since the unfortunate incident on the last episode of Rampage happened, it could belong to anybody. And it seems as if this turn of events has breathed new life into Johnny Psychotic, who is looking as good as I have ever seen him. [Groggily, SAGAWA rolls to his stomach and claws at the legs of Johnny Psychotic in an attempt to get back to his feet. Toying with him, like Scar does the mouse in the opening moments of The Lion King, Psychotic allows SAGAWA to get back up - before catching him upside the head with a side elbow that sends him staggering in a circle.] CHANEY: The Kochi Cannibal has zero idea where he is as he staggers in a circle - NO! Inverted Atomic Drop from Johnny Psychotic! [The wind audibly leaves the body of SAGAWA as his testicles are relocated from the basement to the penthouse, courtesy of a well placed knee. But before SAGAWA has much of a chance to react, he is lifted once again and positioned groin first on the top rope - as from ringside Tiberius Nixon screams out to "FINISH HIM!:] WATTERS: OH NO! CHANEY: Nixon calling his shot - and I think we have a PsychoPlex in our future! WATTERS: That is exactly what he has in mind, as he takes his time to scale to the second rope and lock in that front chancery. [Looking out over the sea of fans in The Phoenix, as he has SAGAWA in position, Psychotic makes a throat slicing gesture with his thumb - the universal symbol that indicates that SAGAWA is as good as dead. Reaching down, he goes for a handful of SAGAWA's cargo shorts - but the lithe body of The Kochi Cannibal begins to shimmy his way downwards towards the canvas, pulling the head of Psychotic along with him.] CHANEY: SAGAWA still has some life in him! [With a double handful of dreadlocks, SAGAWA doubles Psychotic over as he holds his position on the second rope, and plants his head against the turnbuckle. Taking two steps away from the corner, the former Big Game Hunter charges into towards the corner and drives a knee right into the inverted face of his opponent.] WATTERS: SAGAWA is fighting back! Knee to the mush that may have just crossed the eyes of Johnny Psychotic and now SAGAWA is turning around! CHANEY: Placing his head between the legs of Psychotic, SAGAWA clips his knees out from underneath him so that Johnny is sitting on his shoulders. Reaching up, he crosses the arms of The Human Heart Attack across his midsection and steps back out of the corner. [The damage from earlier certainly having taken his toll, SAGAWA barely manages a step out before he feels his knee starting to wobble back and forth some. In a move of desperation, he throws his legs out from underneath him and drives the back, head, and neck of Psychotic into the canvas.] CHANEY: CROSS ARMED ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP!!! AND HE BRIDGES!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE!!! CHANEY: SAGAWA HAS DONE IT! WATTERS: THE HELL HE HAS! [The camera quickly zooms in on the face of Referee Barry Snider as he confidently hoists two fingers up into the air and emphatically screams towards the timekeeper that it is only a two count.] [At ringside, Tiberius Nixon nearly takes a stroke as he clutches at his chest in relief.] [And inside the ring, a frustrated SAGAWA keeps muttering the word "NO!" over and over again to himself, as he thought he had the victory.] CHANEY: THAT my friends is what we call a photo finish! I thought Psychotic was done for, but somehow found the energy to roll a shoulder just before the official's hand struck the mat for a third time. WATTERS: And SAGAWA is not happy about that! The Kochi Cannibal now crawling across the ring, creating some space, so that he can get back up to his feet. Meanwhile, a relieved Johnny Psychotic is trying top get his wits about him as well. CHANEY: As he stands above us, you can still hear SAGAWA talking to himself - clearly a bit frustrated as I think he thought tonight was going to be a walk in park, after all the momentum he had coming into the match. [Back to his feet, SAGAWA leans against the ropes and gasps for breath while on the other side of the ring Johnny Psychotic forcefully pushes himself vertical and breaks into a sprint across the squared circle. Just as he is about to crush SAGAWA against the ropes, the Japanese Superstar grasps the top strand and drops low, causing Psychotic to spill over the top rope and to the floor of The SCW Arena.] CHANEY: Psychotic up and over as SAGAWA Low-Bridges him - but he lands on his feet! Meanwhile SAGAWA is rebounding off the ropes! [Bouncing off the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, SAGAWA continues to favor his bad knee as he sprints in almost a gallop, trying to build as much momentum as he can - and just as Psychotic turns his attention back towards the squared circle, The Kochi Cannibal takes flight ...] CHANEY: Psychotic is right in front of us - TOP CON HILOOOOOOOOOO!!!! [... and around the arena, flashbulbs go off as SAGAWA vaults over the top rope with his arms extending, flipping through the air and crashing down against the chest of a waiting Johnny Psychotic. He hits hard, with a thud, and the momentum carry both men back against the ringside commentary table.] WATTERS: GREAT GOOGILY MOOGILY! THEY ALMOST ENDED UP IN OUR LAPS!!! CHANEY: The height and momentum that SAGAWA got with just one questionable leg is nothing short of remarkable and now he is laying Johnny Psychotic right in front of us on the table. WATTERS: Piston like punches connecting with the forehead of Psychotic as Tiberius Nixon shouts at SAGAWA to back off. [The crowd cheers as SAGAWA responds to Nixon with a single finger, and then turns his eyes back towards the ring.] CHANEY: What does he have in mind? WATTERS: I have no clue - but I would bet my bottom dollar that it will be absolutely delightful! [A limp in his step, SAGAWA starts towards the ring once again, but Tiberius Nixon shakes his head defiantly and gets between The Kochi Cannibal and whatever he has planned. Frustrated by his actions, SAGAWA raises a hand as if he is going to backhand Nixon, and quickly Nixon drops in retreat to the floor of the building.] CHANEY: Smart move by Nixon, getting out of dodge! [With his back to the ring, SAGAWA reaches up and grabs the top rope, and does a pull-up, flipping himself backwards and into the ring.] CHANEY: SAGAWA skinning the cat to get back in the ring. WATTERS: Better than skinning a human, I guess? CHANEY: Shut up. [Looking around the arena, a wave of momentum begins to sweep over the crowd as SAGAWA looks down at the belly up form of Johnny Psychotic. Taking a deep breath, SAGAWA wraps both hands around the top rope and leaps to the top strand] WATTERS: HERE WE GOOOOOOOO!!!! CHANEY: SHOOTING STAR SENTOOOOOOON!!!! WATTERS: GREETINGS FROM BABA YAGA!!! [The camera catches the picturesque aerial assault as SAGAWA propels himself with a reverse moonsault, through the air - his body flipping a full 450 degrees, before landing back first across the chest of Johnny Psychotic ... ... and effectively driving both men down through the commentators table with a huge thud and cracking sound.] SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! SCW!!! WATTERS: UN-FREAKING-BELIEVABLE!!! CHANEY: Is there NOTHING that SAGAWA will not do to win? Is there anything that can stop him on his road to The Lonestar Championship? [The shot sweeps around as a heavily breathing SAGAWA rolls off of the chest of an immobile Johnny Psychotic amidst the adulation of the SCW faithful - that are letting their voices be heard in the support of The Kochi Cannibal.] WATTERS: He has EVERYTHING that a champion is made of, and there ain't a soul alive who can stop him! Get it SAGAWA! Get yours! Get your ass in that ring and clinch Group C!!! [And with a one man cheering session behind him, in the form of Larry Watters, SAGAWA crawls across the ringside area as Referee Barry Snider does his due diligence and continues on with the count on both men.] SEVEN! . . . . . . . . . . EIGHT! . . . . . . . . . . NINE! . . . . . . . . . . [And just like before, SAGAWA rolls himself to his knees and pushes himself up for a last minute dive underneath the bottom rope.] TEN!!! DING! DING! DING! CHANEY: SON OF A !!!! [The camera first picks up on the shocked face of SAGAWA, as his head snaps towards the side. His expression then quickly changes to one of pure annoyance, as the shot widens just in time to catch a view of the "cat that ate the canary" or in this case, Tiberius Nixon as he releases his grip on the ankle of The Kochi Cannibal.] WATTERS: That might be the smartest .. and the dumbest thing .. that I have ever seen anybody do. Um ... RUN! [As if being cued by Watters, Nixon also realizes the danger that he has put himself into as he turns around and quickly scurries to his feet. With a frenzied SAGAWA on his heels, Tiberius takes off around the ringside area as a crazed lunatic swings wildly at him. Unfortunately, thanks to a bum leg, Nixon is able to create some distance as he avoids a death sentence at the hands of The Madman from Aokigahara. About three quarters of the way down the aisle, SAGAWA collapses to all fours as the voice of Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington can be heard.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, due to both men's inability to return to the ring within the required time - this match has been ruled a DOUBLE COUNT OUT!!! [The crowd lets their disfavor be heard as we see SAGAWA sitting in the aisle, clearly irritated, before cutting to ringside where Eric Chaney and Larry Watters stand over the remnants of their table - and the broken body of Johnny Psychotic, who is just starting to stir.] CHANEY: So what does this mean? WATTERS: I have no idea. In a move of sheer brilliance, Tiberius Nixon has forced a stalemate in this match .. which was to have given us the winner of Group C in The Lonestar Title Tournament. But now, I have no idea what we do. Who wins? Who gets the favorable positioning? CHANEY: I .. I am at a loss. Folks. While we clean up and try to get some sort of official word. Lets take it to the back. [As the camera starts to fade out, you still hear Watters and Chaney talking.] WATTERS: Well what are we going to do? CHANEY: I don't know if they have a plan for this. [The screen fades to commercials.]
[As commercials begin to play, this one runs first.] [The screen fills with flashing pictures of SCW superstars such as Pat Gordon Jr, Sean Darring, Freddie Sagawa, Caleb Foley and others all wearing new T-shirts for sale via the SCW Merchandise hotline. As each one flashes up we hear the familiar deep voice over the pictures.] VOICE OVER: Wanna wear the hottest new gear from the biggest names in the SCW? [We see pictures of some of the superstars pimping their gear. Prague Drinking Team taking a big gulps from their beers as they wears their "got pivo?" shirt. That is followed immediately by Las Preguntas showing off their new shirts with the Tag Titles around their waists.] VOICE OVER: Ever wanted to dress like your favorite SCW superstar? [The pictures come faster and faster for about 3 seconds until they just explode into a black screen.] VOICE OVER: Well now you can! [The words come over the screen in white letters, they say "SCW SUPERSTORE"] VOICE OVER: Just hit the website and find the gear you are looking to grab, then call this number to get the threads of your favorite superstars of the SCW! [The screen fades to total blackness again. The numbers come over the screen in white letters. It says 1-888-SHOP-SCW.] VOICE OVER: Just call the following number, One-Eight-Eight-Eight, SHOP SCW! That is One-Eight-Eight-Eight, Seven-Four-Six, Seven-Seven-Two-Nine. You must be 18 years of age or older to place any orders. [Fade to black.]
[We return, yet again, to Funky Town! The Pirate of Bling is doing his best to wave away a pair of beautiful women forcing their numbers in his shirt pocket while Tony Sweat has a trail of perspiration behind him and a look of utter confusion as if every truth he's ever known has been revealed to be lies.] TS: What is happening?! Did those scammers choose a lesbian bar or something?! [Bling walks up to his partner with a panicked look on his face.] TPOB: This place be a living hell, Tony! [Tony turns to him with a wide eyed expression.] TS: Right?! It is like Bizarro's world or something! [Bling looks at his watch with annoyance.] TPOB: All this trouble for nothing, too! TS: Huh? TPOB: Those masked sons of biscuit eaters never showed their faces! [A BIG smile grows on Tony's face as he nods his head.] TS: Ha! Yeah, I should have known those scammers would be cowards! They didn't want to show their faces here 'cos they knew all the ladies would want a real man like me over the- “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK” [... Just then the sounds of screams and shuffling over towards the entrance is heard as a mob of ladies rush towards the entrance of Funky Town. Sweat looks in the direction of stampeding ladies with surprise.] TS: What is happening now? I gotta' see what has these gals so worked up! [As the camera follows Tony who pushes his way to the mob of ladies, finally the Masked Bro's have arrived and they have arrived in style. Masked Maniac has his patented ladies magnet maroon leisure suit with a popped up white collar. His tightly snug Lucha mask continues to sit proudly on his Maniac face. Next to him is the bigger masked pupil, The Masked Wingman. He has a dark blue open sports coat on. Tony Sweat continues to make his way through the mob when he runs right into a Masked Wingman who stops him from getting closer to his idol.] TS: YOU GUYS?! You showed up?! [Rapid drops of sweat fly all over the Masked Wingman who stands there glaring down at his rival. He barely blinks, but due to the floodgates of sweat coming his way, he can't help but to blink and twitch a few times.] TS: Why did you guys choose a lesbian bar for this thing?! What kind of sick game is this?! What scam are you guys pulling now?! [The Masked Wingman continues to stand between Tony Sweat and the Masked Maniac holding his hand up now warning Tony Sweat to keep his distance. As Tony insults the Masked Wingman we pan back to the Pirate of Bling who is having more phone numbers forced on him by young ladies. He waits until they walk away and then he throws the pieces of paper on the ground as we notice a large pile of numbers next to the Englishman as we cut back to... ]
[We return to the ringside broadcast team, now with a simple folding table in place of their busted announce table. The debris mostly cleaned around them now.] CHANEY: Who knew the Pirate of Bling was a babe magnet! WATTERS: And the big lug is also an idiot if he doesn't USE those numbers! I'm married also, but if I had dozens of ladies forcing me to take their number, I'd be investing in trojan stock! CHANEY: And that visual just made me vomit in my mouth. WATTERS: MAGNUM! CHANEY: Oh God. WATTERS: What? CHANEY: Folks, I want to commend the crew here at The Phoenix Arena for how fast they cleared up the mess here at ringside and set us up with a new table. WATTERS: They work as fast as the Pirate! CHANEY: And now the area is safe for the next match on the docket, Big Boss Hogg against El Principe! WATTERS: This is a classic size versus technical skill match. Principe has been a tough match for everyone he has faced, but he has yet to square off against someone as big as Hogg. CHANEY: Very true and Hogg is also looking to be an example to the Assassinz as well. WATTERS: Still not sure how a tag team asking advice from a singles guy helps, but whatever. CHANEY: Let's take it to the ring and see how this match of contrasts works it's way out! Take it away!
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]
[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is set for one fall and has a fifteen-minute time limit! Introducing first, hailing from Mexico City, Mexico and weighing in at two hundred-thirty pounds. He is considered wrestling royalty from south of the border. Here is... E L P R I N C I P E' ! ! ! ["Los Consejos de un Padre" by Gerado begins to play and the arena begins to boo because, let's face it, Gerado sucks. Finally el Principe' steps out from behind the curtain and holds his arms out expecting jubilation, but gets none. He may have been reaping what he had sowed for several years, relying on his father's reputation and underhand tactics to attain many a title and fans in Texas would know such things. He walks down the aisle and seems to be yelling at the crowd in Spanish as he gets near ringside.] CHANEY: The Mexican Superstar is fresh off his first victory last Rampage and now has his biggest test to date. WATTERS: And you mean that literally, right Chaney? CHANEY: Absolutely. WATTERS: Not many guys have the technical skills to give up such a size advantage, but the Prince certainly can hold his own. [The big bad biker man steps out from the curtain, holding a Texas flag out in front of his face. He drops it down quickly and hoists one hand in the air in the shape of the Texas longhorns, yelling out loud to a large roar from the crowd.] CHANEY: Technical skills may not matter if this man gets his hands on Principe! WATTERS: We'll see! [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent, from Blackwell, Texas, HE IS THE... [One step at a time, the 6'7" monster of a man makes his way to ringside, slapping several fans' hands on the way down. He makes sure to salute any veterans at ringside, stopping to shake their hands.] BUFFINGTON: B I G! B O S S! H O G G! [Upon reaching the ring, Boss steps up to the apron, grabbing onto the ropes and bypassing the ring steps. He comes in underneath the top rope, then bounces his back off the ropes a couple times. He stands in the center of the ring next, again throwing up the bullhorns and getting yet another loud cheer in return. Hogg drapes the Texas flag over his corner's ring post, remaining there to await instructions from the referee.] CHANEY: This Texas crowd loves Big Boss Hogg! WATTERS: He definitely plays to them and it works. The only thing that really matters though is what happens after that bell ring. CHANEY: And the big man can go when that times comes too, Larry. WATTERS: Well it's time to find out as he's facing a technical master! [DING! DING!! DING!!] CHANEY: There's the bell and this one is under way! WATTERS: The size difference is huge here! Hogg has at least eight inches on Principe. CHANEY: It really is easy to see when they stand as close to each other as they do in there, huh Larry? WATTERS: No doubt about it. That is why technical skill is so damn important! [Boss Hogg looks confident as he stands in the center of the ring and looks down at Principe, who immediately finds the "fighter's stance" as the bell rang out. The Mexican Prince circles as Hogg stands there hearing the fans cheer him on. Finally, Hogg throws a wide punch that Principe dodges easily.] CHANEY: Principe using his speed to make Hogg miss. WATTERS: Great strategy as throwing those haymakers can make a guy lose his air! CHANEY: This early? WATTERS: Ask a boxer what happens after he throws fifty punches in a corner and doesn't connect on many. You find out how tough it is to throw more without breathing right, that is for sure. [Principe continues moving to find an opening as he dodges yet another punch attempt. Hogg then rushes and goes for a big boot, but the smaller man side-steps him again and lands a strike of his own to the back of the knee of Hogg's plant leg and the fans boo.] CHANEY: Principe attacks that knee and he's looking to chop the big guy down. WATTERS: Just like toppling a sequoia, you can't do it with one whack. It takes several. CHANEY: He may need more than several with the size of Hogg's legs. WATTERS: He's capable, Chaney. Just watch. [Principe steps back and again takes the stance waiting for Hogg to get to his feet fully. The masked star immediately rushes in and lands an elbow to Hogg's chin as he also kicks just below that same knee in the front on his shins. Hogg looks displeased, but not seriously hurt by the attack.] CHANEY: PRINCIPE WITH A FLUID COMBO STRIKE!!! WATTERS: Hogg has learned an important fact - that this will be a real test and not some easy match because of his size advantage. CHANEY: I would think he knew that walking in. WATTERS: You would be surprised at how overconfident guys with that level of advantage in height and weight can be even when facing superior wrestling skill. [Principe continues to try his stick-and-move strategy, but Hogg grabs his arm and whips him across the ring into the ropes. Principe drops down and slides between the Boss' legs, headbutting him in the groin area on his way through. Principe then jumps to his feet and grabs Hogg for a snap DDT in the center of the ring.] CHANEY: SNAP DDT BY PRINCIPE!!! WOW! WATTERS: That even shocked me! The cover! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRRE..........BIG KICKOUT!!!!!!! CHANEY: HOGG LITERALLY PRESSED PRINCIPE INTO THE AIR!!! WATTERS: That was a helluva kickout! CHANEY: Big Boss Hogg showing Principe that it will take more to keep him down! WATTERS: A lot more by the looks of it. He threw him eight feet in the air off that kickout! Even I am impressed by that! [Principe shrugs off being thrown off the pin and rushes over as Hogg is standing, drop kicking him in that same left knee. The impact sends Hogg back to the canvas as the crowd boos.] CHANEY: Principe not relenting his attack on that left knee! WATTERS: Smart man. Don't let the beast get his footing or you may never have an advantage again. CHANEY: Hogg is having difficulty finding his way in this one so far. WATTERS: Not surprising. Principe is working as a technical wrestler and the big guy is just a giant brawler. It works most of the time, but skill can neutralize it. [Principe works as fast as he can to grab the legs of the bigger man and turn it into a Texas Cloverleaf submission hold. He gets Hogg completely locked in, but the size of his legs make it a tough hold for Principe to maintain. He wrenches as best he can and Hogg's face registers a lot of discomfort as the referee checks his condition.] CHANEY: CLOVERLEAF SUBMISSION HOLD BY PRINCIPE!!! WATTERS: You would think the fans would react better to the "Texas" cloverleaf submission hold. CHANEY: Principe's attitude probably negates all of that consideration. WATTERS: Everything is bigger in Texas....including stupidity. [Principe lets go of the hold and Boss Hogg's legs fall flat to the mat. The Mexican star jumps up and drops an elbow right to the spot between the shoulder blades on Hogg's back. The Boss reaches and grabs the ropes to try and begin pulling himself up and the referee steps in to keep Principe from attacking again.] CHANEY: The referee keeps Principe back and the Mexican star is not happy about it! WATTERS: Why should he be? He had a clear advantage and the referee is stopping it cold by doing this. CHANEY: But it is the rule and it has been a rule since the beginning of our great sport! WATTERS: I understand, but you don't screw with someone's advantage as he wouldn't stay touching the ropes much longer as things were working out. [Hogg gets to his feet just as Principe rushes back to propel himself off the ropes and toward the bigger man. Hogg sees his attacker and steps forward, throwing his big right boot out and dropping Principe with a nasty kick as the fans erupt.] CHANEY: BIG BOOT BY BOSS HOGG!!! WATTERS: Thanks, ref. You suck. CHANEY: Big Boss Hogg quickly evens things up with that boot and that is the size working for him now. You can do a lot as a smaller guy, but once the bigger guy gets hold of you, it may be over. WATTERS: None of this happens if the referee had just let things go a little longer. [Hogg moves a tad gingerly, but he is over to pull Principe up to his feet. Principe punches the stomach of Hogg a couple of times, but Boss laughs and picks him up by the shoulders like he was a child, throwing him into the corner where Principe lands awkwardly on the top turnbuckle and falls to the canvas.] CHANEY: GOOD GOD!!! Principe just hit that corner a little strange and Hogg's in total control now. WATTERS: I give him credit. He took advantage of the opening the ref gave him. CHANEY: Are you saying that he did something wrong in there? something against the rules to get ahead? WATTERS: Your words, not mine. [Hogg advances as Principe recovers from the landing and lands a nasty right cross that drops the Mexican star to a knee. He then picks up the smaller man and lifts him with a Gorilla Press lift and holds him up high for several seconds as the crowd cheers him on before tipping him over for the big slam finish of the move.] CHANEY: BIIIIG GORILLA PRESS SLAM FROM HOGG!!! WATTERS: This one is toast! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRRE...............KICKOUT!!!!!! CHANEY: NOT THIS TIME!!!!!! WATTERS: PRINCIPE ESCAPED!!! I love it! CHANEY: The masked star got his shoulder up in the nick of time, but the damage may have already been done. WATTERS: Hogg didn't finish him easily there and the energy he used may finally bring him down a peg. [Hogg pulls Principe up and whips him into the corner, where the smaller man hits with a thud. The Boss rushes in for a shoulder block, but Principe ducks his own shoulder and uses his lower center of gravity and the attacker's momentum to lift Hogg into the air and over the top rope. Hogg lands on the arena floor and the fans boo loudly.] CHANEY: HOGG SENT OVER THE TOP AND TO THE FLOOR!!! WATTERS: Principe's brilliance again stands tall! CHANEY: What a smart counter and now Hogg is in trouble outside the ring. Nobody can win a match out there cleanly. They can only end up hurt. WATTERS: True statements on both counts, and yet we love it when it happens. [Principe wastes no time at all climbing to the top turnbuckle and getting his footing. He raises his arms out to the side and then leaps for a textbook plancha that lands flush on Hogg on the arena floor. Half the crowd begins yelling "Holy S(BLEEP)!" and the other half boos loudly.] CHANEY: TOPE SUICIDA!!! BOTH MEN ARE DOWN OUT THERE!!! WATTERS: El Principe pulling out *ALL* of the stops in this one! What a risk and it paid off big time! CHANEY: It paid off in inflicting damage on Hogg, but he took a lot as well. WATTERS: It is the price you pay, especially outside the ring. CHANEY: Principe knows he must continue advancing or find himself dealing with a fully powered monster. WATTERS: I think it would be fine if he just kept attacking and took the double count out here. [Both men are down outside and moving slowly. Principe is first to his feet and he is over to begin pulling on Hogg to get him up, but the Boss uses his forearm and shoves Principe away with force, sending him tumbling over the ring steps just a few feet away.] CHANEY: Hogg's brute strength still showing as he sends Principe flying over the steps! WATTERS: He certainly is a behemoth, I'll give him that. CHANEY: The referee is up to five on the count! WATTERS: That isn't a bad thing! [Principe gets to his feet and looks agitated. He gets on the steps and then runs a couple of steps on the ring apron to leap at Hogg, but finds nothing but the big man's boot in mid-air as the crowd erupts again.] CHANEY: ANOTHER BIG BOOT OUT THERE!!! WATTERS: Principe ate that one flush! CHANEY: He took a shot and now may pay for it. Hogg has the advantage in a big way on the outside of the ring! WATTERS: Get up! The referee is at eight!!! [Hogg rolls Principe into the ring and follows behind him under the bottom rope, both narrowly missing a ten-count mistake. Principe starts trying to pull himself up on the adjacent ropes, but Hogg is over and grabs him by the head and neck. He lifts him up and drops him with a kneeling choke slam that also pops the crowd.] CHANEY: Kneeling choke slam by Hogg and we all know what comes next, Larry. WATTERS: Hogg is in his finishing mode. Principe needs to shake out of it now! CHANEY: You really think he can? WATTERS: No. [Hogg motions that this match is over and the fans react approvingly. He pulls Principe up and into position, grabbing his arms and hooking them back. He lifts him up for the sit- out double-underhook power bomb. The impact shakes the ring as the fans cheer.] CHANEY: BOSS BOMB!!! WATTERS: That was nasty! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRREEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: BIG BOSS HOGG WITH THE VICTORY!!! WATTERS: That size advantage was just too much to overcome! CHANEY: Hogg also has what brawlers call "a good chin." That means he can take shots and still keep going. WATTERS: He isn't an easy take down. You have to admire that about him. [Hogg stands tall in the ring and raises his right arm in victory as the fans cheer him on. His music playing in the background.] CHANEY: The fans giving him a lot of love as he raises that arm! WATTERS: He has a mean streak in him though. We saw some of that in this match. CHANEY: Yeah, a guy can only take so much until he kicks a boot in your face. WATTERS: It is true of everyone, Chaney. [The screen cuts away...]
[The screen switches to the backstage interview area where The Informer is standing next to "Big Kid" Chris Smith. Smith has a towel wrapped around his neck as the Informer begins.] INFORMER: Chris Smith, quite the victory you got tonight. [Smith looks at the man holding the microphone and stares him up and down. The Informer waits for him to respond, but Smith can only continue his observing of the masked interviewer.] INFORMER: Mr. Smith, any comments? [Chris' brow furrows.] SMITH: Who the hell are you? INFORMER: I'm The Informer, Mr. Smith. I'm one of the people here that interact with the wrestlers and let them discuss things with the fans. [Smith shakes his head.] SMITH: No. Who are you under that stupid mask? INFORMER: Well, it doesn't really matter, does it? [Smith's tone is very serious.] SMITH: It *DOES* matter, mate. It matters a great deal. [He stares for a moment and continues.] SMITH: You see, I have problems with people who wear masks. I don't trust them. [The Informer remains unmoved as Smith is obviously threatening him.] SMITH: I always believe they are up to something and would rather punch them and take them down than listen to a word that comes out of their mouths. So why would I want to be standing here with you? INFORMER: Well you were very abrasive with Steve Blaine and accused him of working with people against you.... [His head snaps around again.] SMITH: How would you know about that? [The Informer points toward the camera.] INFORMER: It was recorded, Mr. Smith. [Chris throws his hands up.] SMITH: I'm sick of this! This entire thing is a set up! You all want me going crazy about Kid Chameleon! You want me so worried about him that I cannot win a match! I know you are all in this together! INFORMER: But... [He gets right in The Informer's face.] SMITH: Don't you "but" me mister! [He begins to walk around The Informer as he talks.] SMITH: They send the weasel in here to talk to me twice and now they send a MASKED MAN!!! They know how I will react because when I see a mask....any mask, I see that tiny freak Chameleon. It is a conspiracy, I tell you! [He stops and turns again to be in The Informer's face.] SMITH: You tell your boss that I will eventually get my hands on him. And when I do, I'll tear him to pieces and bring joy the likes nobody has ever seen. I owe it to him for all he has done. I have to do it.... [He pauses and we know what is coming.] SMITH: ... for the Kids. [He storms off as The Informer is left standing in the area. The screen cuts away.]
[We cut backstage with the SCW logo backdrop. Standing in front is long-standing wrestling legend, "The Legend" Sean Darring. Already dressed in his red and gold singlet. The Legend stands ready to address the SCW world.] LSD: Another night in the young story of the SCW. Everywhere I have been going around the great city of Dallas, SCW has been the talk of the town. I've been asked what I thought about Pat Gordon Jr. If I thought Caleb Foley has finally put it all together. I have asked if I have been offended by the Border Control. If I dreaded wrestling after Tony Sweat. All kinds of questions. The excitement around town has been amazing. [Darring smiles.] LSD: Tonight we continue on ... There is a tag team title match. We have and had more group stages including another group of death match! [Darring slowly nods.] LSD: SCW has started things off with a bang and I couldn't be anymore excited to be back in the thick of it. Speaking of the thick of it ... I am standing here dressed for action preparing for a battle and I am expecting a battle with "The Fat Man" Steve Dann. [The Legend gives a yikes look.] LSD: At my age half of the battle is a game plan. It's preparing mentally and coming up with a strong strategy and being mentally ready for your opponent. When I saw the lineup, at first I thought it was a prank. [Quick pause.] LSD: Then, when I realized that first of all there is an actual guy that is calling himself, The Fat Man. No, it's really not a joke. [Darring shakes his head no.] LSD: I then had to start a game plan versus a "massively huge opponent". [The Legend chuckles.] LSD: Steve Dunn, it's been a while since I have stepped in the ring with someone with your physique. I don't know if I should be intimidated or impressed. Either way, it's going to offer its challenges. Getting you up in suplexes may prove to be tough. You can probably absorb quite a bit of my grade A striking abilities. [A tad bit of sarcasm.] LSD: I mean how well will the Legend Lock even work? [The Legend shrugs.] LSD: So many unanswered questions. In the end, I figure it's going to be quite simple. Limbs are limbs ... Once, I get you off your feet and the tree falls, it's only a matter of time. Soon we will find out. [Legendary smirk.] LSD: Steve Dunn, it's go time. I am dressed for battle. Miles Davis once said A legend is an old man with a cane known for what he used to do. I'm still doing it. [Another pause.] LSD: I'm still doing it. [Fade back to the ring.]
[We return to the ringside announce team.] CHANEY: Sean Darring, as always, up for the challenge in SCW. WATTERS: The man is truly a legend, but eventually he will run into something he can't play to the fans and defeat. Dann may be that man. See what I did there, Chaney? CHANEY: Yes. Great rhyming there, Larry. WATTERS: I know sarcasm when I hear it, Chaney! CHANEY: Good. I was laying it on pretty thick there, Crusher. WATTERS: Someday, I may just throw this career away and lay waste to you right here at ringside. You and your smart mouth. CHANEY: And with that, let's discuss another guy with a fast mouth, Michael Wilson. WATTERS: Group of Death action! This probably would have been the main event had it not been for the Tag Title match. Group D has been our top level in this tournament so far! CHANEY: It really has and that is because of how good every one of them is from top to bottom. Pat Gordon Jr, Sean Darring, and then the two men in action right now in Wilson and Bam Markham. WATTERS: Markham is as big as they come, but he is the least experienced of the group. That has cost him a little I think. Well, that and a well-placed fireball and such. (chuckles) CHANEY: He is still reeling from the effects of that, too. WATTERS: You bet he is. CHANEY: So let's see if he can overcome and defeat a record-setting champion in Michael Wilson. Take it away "Buff!"
[As the camera switches to the ring, the following graphics fills the screen.]
[The graphic leaves and we see SCW Ring Announcer Aaron Buffington in the ring ready to go.] BUFFINGTON: Ladies and Gentlemen, this match is a Group D match in the Lonestar Championship tournament and is your main event of the evening! Introdu.... CAM MARKHAM: Sir, sir, sir... I'll take it from here if you would be so kind! [The camera cuts to a man in black jeans, a red t-shirt and a black jacket standing on the entrance ramp. The crowd cheers as he taps his cane on the stage and grins with a microphone in his other hand. This is the manager and grandfather of The Big Bad Bull from Boulder...Cam Markham!] CAM MARKHAM: Introducing first... the man that'll be 25 points closer after this match and YOUR future champion! The man that cannot be stopped by any Boss, Legend or anybody in between! Standing at six-foot five! Weighing in at two-hundred eighty-six pounds! He is the BIG! BAD! BULL! ALL THE WAY FROM BOULDER, COLORADO! He's the man you all paid to see whoop somebody's ass... B A M M A R K H A M ! ! ! ["World On Fire" by Corrosion of Conformity thunders over the PA and out comes the Big Bad Bull from Boulder himself. Black towel draped over his head, he acknowledges the cheering crowd with a nod and then he and his grandfather head on down the ramp.] CHANEY: After last Rampage, it is a wonder that Bam is even medically cleared to wrestle hear tonight. WATTERS: I have to agree as there is no way that eye area is fully healed after what happened. CHANEY: So the question will be can Bam see well enough to counter someone like Michael Wilson? WATTERS: And I hope the answer is no because I'm ready for this big lug to be sent home to Colorado already. Him and his whole family. [Bam Markham enters the ring and has a seat square in the middle, arms folded in the ring with the towel still on his head.] CHANEY: Bam still doing his thing and getting pretty solid in that ring, Larry. WATTERS: I'll say it again...look at the size of that man. He can do whatever the hell he wants. But tonight he runs into someone who will pull out every stop known to man in order to win a match! [Aaron Buffington goes to continue the introductions.] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent... ["Jungle" by X Ambassador blairs across the arena to a mixed reaction from the crowd. Michael Wilson emerges from the entrance tunnel. He ignores the fans as he makes his way to the ring.] BUFFINGTON: Weighing in tonight at two hundred, twenty-seven pounds, hailing from Long Island, New York, he is the leader of the heel nation. Here is... M I C H A E L W I L S O N ! ! ! [Michael Wilson enters the ring. He mounts his respective turnbuckle and looks around at the crowd before dropping down and stretching for the upcoming match. He steps over and stares at a now standing Bam Markham, who has a nasty red splotch around his left eye, and looks as unimpressed at him as a veteran might. He snaps back and raises his arms to taunt the crowd, who give him heat right back.] CHANEY: Wilson is in the ring and looks like he isn't worried about the size difference. WATTERS: When you have the skillset Wilson has, you aren't bothered by the base issues. CHANEY: Sixty pounds isn't a base issue, it is a major problem. WATTERS: I'm sure you have been told this before, Chaney, but size isn't always everything. [DING! DING!! DING!!!] CHANEY: There's the bell, Larry! Size may not be the most important thing, but seeing them next to each other it certainly shows! WATTERS: Bam does have a few inches and sixty pounds on Wilson, but Michael has something Bam doesn't have. CHANEY: That is? WATTERS: A track record of success. He's a multi-time world champion and has been at the top of the food chains for years. Bam was an unknown before SCW. [The two men walk toward the center of the ring and the moment Markham takes a fighter's stance, Wilson immediately throws his hand out and pokes him in that scarred left eye. The big man staggers backward a bit as Wilson kicks at his right knee and then at his left. Wilson does both of them again. as Markham finally stops staggering and hits the turnbuckles in a corner.] CHANEY: WILSON WITH A FLURRY OF ATTACKS!!! MARKHAM IS STAGGERED!!! WATTERS: I told you so! CHANEY: Michael Wilson going to work fast and furious style on Bam Markham. WATTERS: Great way to take down a bull is to overwhelm him and not give him a clear target to aim at. Great stuff form Wilson. [Wilson takes a step back and then rushes at the corner, but Bam throws his big hands out and shoves Wilson away in mid-air, sending the veteran back toward the center of the ring as the fans cheer. Bam continues feeling out his left eye as Wilson recovers and looks angry.] CHANEY: BAM MARKHAM STILL TOO STRONG IN THAT CORNER!!! WATTERS: Wilson was smart going for that bad eye, but Markham is called a bull for a reason. You can't charge like that. CHANEY: No, you can't! Wilson doesn't look happy. WATTERS: Nobody is happy when they make a mistake, but this one was very small by most standards. He just has to keep from doing that again. [Wilson again goes over toward Markham and Bam throws his hand out again, but WIlson dodges it and slides behind the big man and stomps on the back of his left knee, forcing Bam to the mat with that leg. The awkward dropping causes Bam to not be able to defend well and Wilson grabs his head from behind for an inverted DDT.] CHANEY: INVERTED DDT BY WILSON!!! Bam in real trouble now! WATTERS: The big man is down and Wilson seems to have his eye on the prize for a fast knock out! CHANEY: Easier said than done with Markham. WATTERS: Everybody can be taken down, Chaney, you just have to use the right shovel to knock them out! [Wilson jumps to his feet and runs toward the corner. He climbs up the turnbuckles and gets to the top one, perching carefully. He stands up and lifts his arms into the air as if he was manly royalty before he jumps into the air and lands a perfect elbow drop right to the chest of Bam Markham.] CHANEY: FLYING ELBOW DROP BY WILSON!!! WATTERS: HE HIT THAT SQUARE!!! HE COVERS!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................KICKOUT WITH AUTHORITY!!! CHANEY: BAM MARKHAM NOT NEAR FINISHED THERE!!! WATTERS: Wilson ended up completely in the air on that kickout and Bam is showing he has the power to go the distance here. CHANEY: Wilson better keep him down or it could get ugly for him. WATTERS: That is always the conventional wisdom. If the big guy gets hold of you, it could be over in a second. [Wilson shakes his head knowing he shouldn't have tried this fast. He gets to his feet and stomps his boot into Bam's face, with his boot striking the spot where his eye was affected from last Rampage. Markham begins holding his eye as Cam Markham starts yelling to the referee that this isn't right.] CHANEY: Wilson going to work on that bad eye again, Larry! WATTERS: Yeah and Cam can whine all he wants to, but it is fair play inside that squared circle! CHANEY: I still cannot believe Bam is here tonight after what El Gringo Loco and Pat Gordon did to him last Rampage. WATTERS: It is a testament to his strength and stupidity! [Wilson continues to stomp at Bam, but the big man continues to pull himself to his feet despite the attacks. His size giving him the strength to power through. Wilson grabs Bam and goes for an Irish Whip into the corner, but Markham reverses the whip and sends WIlson into the corner. Wilson flips over the turnbuckles and onto the apron, where he immediately falls off and hits the arena floor as the fans erupt.] CHANEY: WILSON GOES BUMPING AND CAREENING ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE RING AND TO THE FLOOR!!! WATTERS: That is some raw power from Bam Markham! Wilson really needs to be careful how close he allows himself to get to the big bull! CHANEY: He is out there rubbing his wounds now. WATTERS: He will find a way to counter. The great ones always do. [The referee turns to tell Bam to not follow him outside as this match needs to be in the ring. As the referee's back is turned, Wilson stands near Cam Markham and jumps back into the guard wall at ringside and yells loudly. Cam turns around and sees Wilson laying on the floor and staring up at him in time for the referee to turn around and see the scene also.] CHANEY: WILSON THREW HIMSELF INTO THE GUARD RAIL!!! Why would he do that? WATTERS: Look at the referee pointing toward Cam Markham! CHANEY: WHY?!?!?! Cam didn't do anything! Wilson is setting him up for a fall! WATTERS: The referee didn't see anything and all he can go by is what he does see when he turns around and looks. CHANEY: CAM MARKHAM IS BEING SENT OUT OF THE RINGSIDE AREA!!! WATTERS: Wilson is a genius! That is all I can say about that! [The referee signals for Cam Markham to exit and the fans erupt in boos. Cam tries to plead his case, but Wilson just continues pointing at him as he slowly gets to his feet outside the ring. Finally, Cam lumbers away as the fans erupt in boos again. His celebration is cut off as he turns around to find Bam standing outside the ring. Bam clobbers him with a hard fist that sends him to the floor hard.] CHANEY: BAM MARKHAM DROPS WILSON LIKE A SACK OF TRASH ON THE OUTSIDE!!! WATTERS: Look at him attack from behind like a coward and yet you probably think he did the right thing, huh Chaney? CHANEY: Wilson connived and got his grandfather kicked out of the ringside area. He deserved to get dropped! WATTERS: Says you! Now both men could get counted out. [Bam grabs Wilson and whips him into the steel ring steps and WIlson hits them hard and flips over them, landing awkwardly on the other side of the ringside area. Bam slowly stalks around toward him as the fans erupt in cheers for the action.] CHANEY: Wilson hit those steps and rumbled over like he was a crash test dummy! WATTERS: They say it is best in crashes to go completely limp and not fight the inertia so as not to get injured as badly. CHANEY: That is why they say drunks usually don't get hurt, Larry. That is not what is taught to people. WATTERS: Well then, who says drinking doesn't teach you something? [Bam pulls Wilson up and looks to roll him into the ring, but slams his head off the ring apron first for good measure. Then he rolls him under the bottom rope and back into the ring. Bam slowly flows him into the ring and the referee stops all counting that he had been doing.] CHANEY: Bam rolls Wilson into the ring and now things are back where they belong. WATTERS: Not until after he took an extra liberty and slammed Michael's head into the apron there. CHANEY: Once again, I believe you said all was fair in the squared circle. WATTERS: Somebody write down the date and time he said that. [Bam gets to his feet and pulls Wilson up, lifting him into a bodyslam position before dropping him square on his knee in a back breaker. Bam shows off his strength by standing up and maintaining that hold and then tossing Wilson backward in a fallaway slam. The crowd cheering all the way.] CHANEY: BACKBREAKER INTO A FALL AWAY SLAM!!! BAM MARKHAM ON A STAMPEDED IN THE RING RIGHT NOW! WATTERS: I realize it makes you excited to see that, but the man is a massive brute that SHOULD be doing this well in there. Wilson is causing him all sorts of trouble. CHANEY: Not right now. WATTERS: Just wait, Chaney. Just you wait. [Bam pulls Michael up again and holds Wilson's left arm straight out as he clubs the shoulder and upper arm with a series of blows with his free arm. He then yanks the arm and pulls Wilson into his arms for a massive release German Suplex that gets a pop from the crowd.] CHANEY: BIIIGGGGG GERMAN SUPLEX FROM BAM MARKHAM!!! THE BULL IS ON PARADE!!! WATTERS: Oh Good God! Here's a cover! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR......................KICKOUT!!! CHANEY: WILSON ESCAPES AT THE LAST SECOND!!! WATTERS: I told you Wilson has alligator blood! Markham may land a lot of attacks, but if he can't hold jello to the wall, he isn't getting a victory! CHANEY: Jello? WATTERS: It's a metaphor! [Bam Markham gets up and looks to the corner, which is fairly close. He goes to the corner and looks up at the turnbuckles.] CHANEY: No way Bam would do this! No way he goes to the top! WATTERS: This is the kind of stupid stuff he wouldn't be doing if Cam was out here. See how brilliant it was for Wilson to get him expelled from ringside? CHANEY: No Bam, don't climb up there! WATTERS: He's heading to the top! [Markham gets to the top and slowly turns around before leaping into the air for a plancha that hits nothing but canvas as Wilson rolls out of the way just in time. The crowd groans loudly as both men are on the mat.] CHANEY: MARKHAM LEAPS AND FINDS CANVAS!!! WILSON MOVED AND BOTH MEN IN SERIOUS TROUBLE NOW!!! WATTERS: The ring shook when he landed! Damn! CHANEY: No doubt Bam has his wind knocked out of him on that plancha attempt and WIlson is still reeling from all the offense Bam did hit. WATTERS: This is a new match now and everyone here knows it! [Both men finally pull themselves to their feet. Markham blocks a punch from Wilson and sends the former world champ into the ropes with a whip. on the rebound, Markham actually leaps over Wilson and then rushes toward where they will meet again and hits a running dropkick on the rebound.] CHANEY: DROPKICK BY MARKHAM!!! WATTERS: How the hell did he leapfrog over Wilson on the first pass? CHANEY: He's big, but Bam Markham is also an athletic freak of nature! We all can see that! WATTERS: Yeah, I hate to admit it, but that was impressive. [The big bad bull is up and the fans are chanting his name as he reaches and pulls Wilson up. WIlson again throws a half-hearted punch that Bam blocks and then Markham clobbers him with a nasty KO left hook.] CHANEY: MEAT HOOK! HE DRILLED IT!!! WATTERS: OH NO! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRR.......................NO!!!!!! CHANEY: WILSON GOT HIS FOOT ON THE BOTTOM ROPE!!! The referee stopped the count! WATTERS: What a veteran move by Wilson! Conserve the energy and simply drape that foot on the rope. Brilliant. CHANEY: He's still down though, Crusher. WATTERS: But not out. And THAT is what counts, Chaney. [The fans gasp as Wilson managed to get his foot on the ropes. Bam looks at the referee who confirms that Wilson did manage to stay alive. Bam takes a deep breath and gets up slowly, pulling Wilson with him. He gets up and tosses Wilson into the corner where he hits his head right on the top turnbuckle.] CHANEY: IDIOT TOSS!!! Markham still in control in this one! WATTERS: Wilson may not know what year it is, let alone what is happening in the match! CHANEY: And now Markham can focus on closing this one out for good. WATTERS: Wilson needs to get his wits back as soon as he can. This won't end well if he can't shake those cobwebs out! [Bam takes off toward the corner where Wilson had dropped, but the former world champion moves and Bam goes flying between the middle and top rope, drilling his shoulder against the steel ring post. The crowd groans loudly as Wilson gets up and goes to pull Bam out. The moment he touches Markham, the referee pulls him back and tells him Markham is in the ropes and not allowed to be attacked.] CHANEY: MARKHAM PLANTS HIMSELF BETWEEN THE ROPES AND INTO THE POST!!! WATTERS: Wilson again showing why he may be the smartest man in the ring here in SCW! And the referee is denying Wilson the chance to take advantage. A blatant show of favoritism! CHANEY: The referee is protecting Bam right now as he should! WATTERS: Give it a rest, that is a total load of crap! [As the referee backs Wilson away from the corner, the crowd cheers go to boos suddenly as a man hops over the guard wall and enters the ringside area. He has a steel chair in his hand and he swings, pegging Bam right on top of the head. Bam falls back into the ring as the man drops and hides next to the ring so the referee doesn't see him when he turns around.] CHANEY: HARRISON DANIELS THE THIRD!!! DANIELS HOPPED THE RAILA ND HIT MARKHAM WITH A CHAIR!!! WATTERS: And the referee missed it completely! CHANEY: This cannot be how it ends! This is just absolutely WRONG! WATTERS: The referee didn't see it! Folks that means that in the grand scheme of things it didn't happen! CHANEY: Markham is down and he is cut open! How does that happen if nobody attacked from outside? WATTERS: It's a mystery! (chuckles) [Bam fights to get to his feet after the attack, a small cut visible on his forehead above his injured left eye. Just as he stands up, WIlson moves in for the kill and grabs his head, dropping him with his cutter variation in the center of the ring.] CHANEY: GTR!!! HE NAILED IT!!! NOT LIKE THIS!!! WATTERS: YESS!!!!!!! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CHANEY: MICHAEL WILSON WITH THE VICTORY ON RAMPAGE WITH HELP FROM HARRISON DANIELS!!! WATTERS: Always nice to have help from a friend. CHANEY: This victory is tainted and we all know it! WATTERS: I think you need to just calm down and gain some perspective. The referee missed it, so you can't change it. Done deal, game, set, match to Wilson! [As Markham laid out cold in the center of the ring, Wilson stood to his feet with a Cheshire grin stretching from ear to ear. Wilson glanced over as Harrison Daniels III quickly rolled underneath the bottom rope, into the ring and popped up to his feet. Wilson quickly greeted Daniels with a finger point and followed it with a brotherly hug. Wilson forcefully placed his taped hands on each of Daniels' shoulders and gave a nod, while speaking to his comrade.] WILSON: "It's time." [Daniels responded with a nod and quickly went to the ropes, exiting the ring. As Daniels exited the ring, Wilson turned his icy blue orbs to the fallen Markham on the mat, whom the referee was attempting to assist. Wilson stalked over and grabbed the referee by the back of the collar and escorting him out of the ring in between the top and middle rope, sending the referee spilling to the outside floor. As Wilson turned back to the downed Markham, Daniels re-entered the ring with two steel chairs in hand. Daniels handed one chair to Wilson, then turned and began violently swinging the chair down across the lower body of Markham!] **CRRRRACK!!!** **CRRRRACK!!!** **CRRRRACK!!!** [Wilson grinned as Daniels continued to drive the steel chair against the knees of Markham. Daniels paused for a moment and looked to Wilson. Wilson once more gave a nod to Daniels whom then grabbed ahold of Markham's right ankle and slipped it through the steel folding chair. Wilson then rushed forward and began violently swinging his steel chair down across the intertwined ankle of Markham!] **CRRRACK!!!** **CRRRACK!!!** **CRRRACK!!!** [Daniels jumped up and down in excitement as Wilson flung his steel chair across the ring and stared down at Markham who was screaming in agony and attempting to clutch his ankle. Wilson began breathing heavily before backing up the ropes and bouncing off, charging forward and leaping up then coming down with a VICIOUS stomp on the chair causing it clasp tightly and attempt to break the damaged ankle of Markham! Markham let out a horrific scream as medical staff finally reached the ring and frantically pulled Markham out of anymore potential harm. As Markham was removed from the ring, Daniels had already gripped a microphone and turned handing it to Wilson. Wilson, looking like a man possessed, slowly brought the microphone to his parting lips as the crowd roared loudly with chants of negativity.] CROWD: "ASSHOLE!!!" WILSON: "............" CROWD: "ASSHOLE!!!" WILSON: "..........." [Wilson continued to pause as he looked out onto the crowd before him.] CROWD: "ASSHOLE!!!" [Wilson finally cut through the chants of the crowd and parted his lips once more.] WILSON: "You're ABSOLUTELY right! I told each and everyone of you that the time was up! I told each and every one of you that Bam Markham was FINISHED! I told each and everyone of you to LISTEN WHEN I SPEAK ..... FOLLOW MY LEAD. Now? There is no stopping my ultimate agenda." [Wilson turned and pointed at Daniels.] WILSON: "I called my brother, my friend, my sergeant at arms, and I said H-D THREE ...I need you to come down to Texas from your estate in Waterbury and show these people exactly how we did and will do things in SCW. And at a drop of dime, my soldier is right here at my side ready to take over ALL of SCW!" [Wilson flailed his arm out across the Phoenix Arena, as Daniels stood and nodded.] WILSON: "What some of you people who have been living under a rock or in your mommy's basement for the past decade are going to learn, is I don't mess around. I tell it like it is and I set things as they should be set. I have always been and will continue to always be, the voice of the voiceless. There are no favorites or politics in MY nation. If you've always been pushed to the side because you don't fall in line with the pecking order, follow me. If you've always been pushed to the side because you haven't been given the recognition you deserve, follow me. If you're absolutely sick and tired of mainstream controlling every twist and turn in this cesspool of an industry, then I tell all you out there watching and sitting on your fat asses in this arena ... follow me." [Wilson paused for a moment and pointed to himself as he looked out to the crowd, then turned to Daniels with a grin.] WILSON: "For those of you who don't believe what I'm saying, and have grasped onto the ideology of placing HAS BEENS, OVER ACHIEVERS, and ASS KISSERS elsewhere on a pedestal because that's what has been forced down your generic throats, then I beg of you ... listen to this man's words of my greatness, and pedigree..." [Wilson gave a laugh and shot a wink at Daniels, extending the microphone to his cohort. With his face brimming with confidence, Daniels accepts the microphone with his right hand while looking at Wilson.] HD III: “I have a questions for you, Mikey....what sound does a 286-pound sack of crap make when it hits a pair of brass knuckles?” [A brief second or two of silence takes place while waiting for the answer.] HD III: “It goes 'Bam!'” CROWD: "ASSHOLE!!!" [Daniels lets out a slight chuckle infused with arrogance as the crowd continues to let their opinions of both men be known.] HD III: “People, let's get one thing and ONE thing straight right now. (Points to Wilson) This man you see standing before you does not need me for anything. Hell, he doesn't even need me standing right now next to him. But what he does need is people who are willing to carry the banner for this cause and voice to proclaim this message. And if that means going to the extreme end to be his insurance policy to ensure this messenger's success, then so be it. Because I know if the roles were reversed, he would do the same for me.” [Both Daniels and Wilson briefly exchange a nod in agreement before continuing.] HD III: “There was once a time when Texas Wrestling meant two things: Tradition and Respect. But the problem now is too many of you are still holding on to things of the past and are refusing to accept the changes of today. Where are your 'Yellow Roses'? They stopped blooming and died decades ago. Where are your 'Modern Day Warriors'? They laid down their weapons of warfare and resigned themselves to eternal defeat.” CROWD: “ASSHOLE!!!!” [The cackling laughter of Wilson can be heard in the distance as Daniels shakes his head in disgust.] HD III: “Whether you like it or not, we will instill a new tradition and new respect into this place. You can either confirm willingly or you will conform forcefully. We will mold SCW in what we want it to be. All of you in this festering stink hole of an arena and those who are watching at home are living in a world of denial. You all need to accept the fact that what you THINK is tradition is dead and you need to turn the page. And that's where Mikey and I come in: We are the page turners and the authors of what can be and what WILL be here in SCW. You want someone to destroy the status quo and restore glory back to Texas Wrestling? Be careful what you wish for because now you've got it.” [The crowd continues to spit its vitriol towards Daniels and Wilson as HD III steps towards the ring ropes and looks squarely into the camera lens.] HD III: “What you see before you in the ring is not ordinary rebels without a cause. We ARE the cause for rebellion. SCW......welcome to Heel Nation.” [Without taking his focus off the camera lens, he extends the microphone back to Wilson with his right hand. Wilson gave a nod and a smile as he took the microphone and turned to the entrance way, sticking a finger out and pointing to the back stage area of the Phoenix Arena.] WILSON: "Daniels stated it perfectly. So I implore anyone in the back, who has a backbone and who wants to sniff success more than you could ever have of imagined, think and choose wisely because I leave NO survivors in my path. I do not set the bar, I AM THE BAR. In this business, there is only four words that ring true no matter what city, no matter what state, no matter what country, no matter what venue you're in ...I'm your future, I'm your leader. I am one thousand percent, GREATNESS PERSONIFIED!" [Wilson turned back to the crowd and continued on with his rant.] WILSON: "All of you will soon realize that Heel Nation isn't just a stable. It's a family. It's a way of life. It's the only thing you all can believe in! FOLLOW MY LEAD AND BASK IN OUR NATION OF GREATNESS!" [Wilson paused for a brief moment and pointed out emphatically towards the crowd before finishing up.] WILSON: "EACH AND EVERY ONE OF MY HEEL NATION BRETHREN, LET THE NAYSAYERS KNOW WHO TO FOLLOW, WHO TO PREPARE FOR, WHO... TO... TRUST!" [Wilson extended the microphone over the top rope and out towards the crowd. The Heel Nation followers scattered through the crowd could be heard in total unison and with a tremendous roar.] PRO HEEL CROWD: "IN! HEEL!! WE!!! TRUST!!!!" CHANEY: OH MY GOD, LARRY!!! WATTERS: Chaney, things just got real in SCW. [Wilson dropped the microphone to the outside floor as 'Jungle' by the X Ambassadors began roaring over the sound system, as Daniels climbed the corner and stood tall on the middle turnbuckle with his arms working the crowd. Wilson centered himself at the ropes and extended his arms out to a thunderous mixture of reactions, as the camera cut away.]
[We cut to the back and find Windham Brody standing in the back of the arena looking deep in thought. He takes a minute to compose himself, then begins to speak though it's obvious to anyone he is not in a agreeable mood.] BRODY: Everybody wants to know what my mindset is, how I am feeling after losing to Tripp Skylark last week? Well allow me to respond to that question with a question... [He pauses as the camera zooms in with him issuing a dead eye glare toward the camera.] BRODY: How the hell do you think I feel? [He shakes his head as the camera pans back to normal depth.] BRODY: I lost a match I had well in hand because I was having a bit too much fun. I was playing with Skylark the way the cat plays with a mouse or a lion plays with a gazelle. [He takes a moment and throws hair back.] BRODY: So if Tripp Skylark is thinking he's something because he got the win. I'll let him have his own ideas. I know I have mine. [Another pause.] BRODY: You see from my perspective, he didn't beat me, I beat myself! I'm the one who tried to have fun and I'm the one who allowed myself to get taken advantage of. The buck stops here and I will never make that mistake again. [The glare never changes as he speaks.] BRODY: Skylark, I know our paths will cross again and just so you know I'm not going to be as merciful the next time. I promise you won't have any celebrating when I finish with you. [Another moment of hair positioning for the brooding biker.] BRODY: I don't have that choice anymore because people won't shut their god[BLEEP] mouths. [His mood seems to be getting worse.] BRODY: All I hear now are the talking heads asking if "I'm up to the challenge?" Can I "handle the big stage?" [He hauls of and punches the wall behind him leaving a place obvious where his knuckles connected.] BRODY: I dare anyone of those motherf[BLEEP]rs to step to my face and say that to me. I'm not putting up with this anymore. You want to find out if I am up to the challenge here in SCW? [He smirks.] BRODY: Then keep watching. In the end, the only fact that will remain is that Brody RULES! [He walks away as the screen begins to fade and then cuts away.]
[We cut back to Funky Town. Quite a gathering has gathered at the club. The camera makes its way into the crowd where Masked Maniac popped collar and all is working his way from lady to lady.] MM: Even if there was no gravity, I'd still fall for you. [A young and gorgeous blonde blushes as Masked Maniac continues to work his lines.] MM: No seriously, when God made you, he was just showing off. [The Masked playboy has his mojo working tonight as the young blonde quickly jots down her phone number and hands it to the masked casanova. He leans over and whispers something in her ear and hops along to the next "lucky" lady.] MM: What's a nice girl like you doing in a dirty mind like mine? [Cheesy? Yes ... But, it's working tonight. Another phone number easily handed to the masked Rico Suave. Masked Maniac turns to his left and literally bumps right into another young lady try to get some time with Maniac.] MM: Whoa, do you know Karate? Because you're body's kickin'! [... another corny line, another phone number.] MM: I'm not a hipster, but I could make your hips stir. [Two ladies who obviously arrived together hand Masked Maniac their phone numbers. A two for one with a pretty lame pick up line! While Masked Maniac continues to make most of our ears cry we cut across the club where Masked Wingman is seen near the corner of Pirate of the Bling. Bling's head is heavily into his palms wondering what he got himself into. However, the quick-thinking Masked Wingman has bent down and picked up the crumbled up phone numbers that Pirate of the Bling tossed aside earlier in the night to avoid the wrath of Mrs. Bling. He quickly stuffs them in his pocket and in a flash disappears back into the crowd.]
[We cut back to ringside.] CHANEY: Some quick thinking thereby Masked Wingman. This is a no holds barred anything goes chick off. WATTERS: Did you really just say that? CHANEY: Sadly, I think I did. WATTERS: And do those pick up lines really work? CHANEY: For you and I, no. WATTERS: This is turning into the creep show. CHANEY: And we will find out how the night ends for these two teams in a little bit, but it is time to get back to action and another match in contrasts between Steve Dann and Sean Darring. WATTERS: To me, this is all about Darring and his head space. If he keeps playing to the fans, "The Fat Man" will probably splatter him. CHANEY: And if he works like the version you love so much? WATTERS: Dann won't get out of his robe before he is tapping out. CHANEY: So it is an extreme either way? WATTERS: I think so. Feast or famine! CHANEY: Let's see what the Legend can do and get to the squared circle where Aaron Buffington awaits!
Introducing first, hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana and weighing in at three hundred, seventy pounds.... "T H E F A T M A N" S T E V E D A N N! ! ! [A cajun-themed instrumental begins to play ove rthe PA system, and it is a lively tune. The fans react mixed to Dann as he steps behind the curtain. He smiles and acts like he is the grand master of mardis gras as he walks down the aisle waving almost condescendingly to the fans near the aisle. He gets to the ring and steps through the ropes, and seems to not be affected when he doesn't get the pop he is expecting. He holds his arm up anyway and then goes to the corner to await the start of the match.] CHANEY: Steve Dann has entered the arena! WATTERS: And god bless him, he just exceeded the weight allowed in this arena by law in the State of Texas because of it. CHANEY: That was mean. WATTERS: Dude is bigger then almost everyone in SCW except maybe Chris Smith. Just imagine.... CHANEY: I don't want to. WATTERS: That has to happen eventually! [The music fades and the crowd goes quiet as the legendary opening chords to the Final Countdown by Europe blasts over the PA system...] BUFFINGTON: And his opponent... Introducing from Miami, Florida... Standing at 6 foot 4 and weighing in at 240 lbs... he is... "T H E L E G E N D" S E A N D A R R I N G ! ! ! [The fans begin to cheer as green mist emerges from the back. "The Legend" Sean Darring walks through the mist as he walks down the aisle way. Decked out in a full-blown golden robe with the words "The Legend" written in silver glitter letters.]The fans reach across their seats and into the aisle way trying to the legend. Sean Darring stops along the way to greet young fans and spend a few seconds with them as he continues towards the ring.] CHANEY: Darring is looking strong tonight and continues to be one to watch for the Lonestar Title! WATTERS: The Darring of ten years ago would have wiped the floor with everyone in SCW and not even been close. That Darring had the eye of the tiger. He had alligator blood. He had.... CHANEY: No conscience about cheating all the time! WATTERS: I was going to say the willingness to do what must be done, but whatever. [Finally, after what felt like a long few minutes, The Legend steps between the ropes and into the squared circle as Dann stays in the corner. Sean greets the fans. He turns one final time with his long elegant robe and raises his arms bringing the fans to their feet.] CHANEY: Listen to this reaction! These Texas fans really have warmed to the Legend! WALTERS: That happens when you water yoruself and your standards down, Chaney. [The robe comes off and Sean Darring takes in a massive ovation from the crowd before he folds the robe up and tosses it aside to a stagehand. The referee motions for Steve Dann to come to center ring and once both men arrive he gives some insructions.] CHANEY: Darring is giving away a LOT of weight, but that happens a lot in matches Dann is involved in. WATTERS: That is true, and in this case size very well might be godo enough to take down an older technician. CHANEY: You think AGE will play a role here? WATTERS: The old gray mare just ain't what heused to be. CHANEY: Larry, that is just a totally disrespectful statement. [DING! DING!! DING!!!] WATTERS: There's the bell- CHANEY: And Darring's not wasting any time! He charges Steve Dann and forces him into the corner.. [Darring pushes The Fat Man into the corner and begins lacing him with big right hands. The crowd begins counting with his fist, and they get to nine before Dann comes to his senses and reverses it, throwing Darring into the corner and returning the favor. The referee gets in between them and breaks it up after 10, but Darring charges out of the corner and nails Dann with a running lariat. Darring bounces off the ropes, and Dann gets back up.. and goes back down again with another lariat from Darring.] WATTERS: Explosive opening to this match-up, neither playing any games. Darring bounces off for a second time, but- CHANEY: Dann sweeps his legs out from under him, and Darring hits the mat hard! WATTERS: He does, and HUGE running kneelift from the The Fat Man! CHANEY: Steve looks like he wants to prove something here tonight. [Dann picks up Darring, lifts him up. The crowd pops as Dann lifts The Legend up into a huge vertical suplex. He spins around a couple of times before he falls backwards.] CHANEY: The crowd liked that move.. I don't think they know which of these two they're supposed to root for. WATTERS: God forbid the crowd makes a tough decision tonight. You have a Legend facing off against a Nobody. It really is not that difficult. [Dann picks Darring up, whips him into the ropes. On the rebound Steve catches Sean with an elbow to the midsection which causes Darring to doubled over on the canvas now. Dann laughs at Darring, and goes over to the ropes to jaw at the fans a little bit.] WATTERS: Well you can put this match in the books Dann came out like they were giving out free pancakes but he just gave Sean a breathier. CHANEY: Not exactly the smartest thing to do against a man of Sean's caliber. [The Fat Man is still jawing with the fan while Darring has gotten to his feet behind him, and he runs up behind Dann. Dann is standing on the middle ropes while Darring is on the bottom ropes he locks his arms around Steve's waist and lifts him up for a HUGE GERMAN SUPLEX! The whole ring shakes as soon as Dann hits the mat. The Fat Man immediately grabs his head as Darring makes a quick cover...] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THR.....................NO! WATTERS: I'm shocked that wasn't enough to put away Dann. CHANEY: The Fat Lady hasn't sung just yet but look at Darring he looks like he is about to cut dissect Dann. [The crowd pops a little bit as Dann kicks out of the pin attempt. Darring pulls Dann to his feet, and kicks him in the midsection and without hesitation follows it up with a Spinning Front Face DDT. As Dann rolls over onto his stomach Darring connects with a knee to the left side of his face before he makes another pin attempt not hooking the leg.] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TH.....................NO SHOULDER UP! CHANEY: Another close call but you can not deny the heart Dann has will he fights. WATTERS: He should go on Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers. It might help his stamina. [Darring picks up a dazed Dann, bounces off the ropes and goes for a flying clothesline, which Dann ducks. Dann grabs Darring's stretched-out arm, and maneuvers it into a pumphandle slam. Darring pops right back up, and Dann bounces off the ropes, but..] CHANEY: Another great move by Darring there, with a jumping head scissors on a running Steve Dann. [Dann and Darring both get up to their feet at the same time. As The Fat Man turns around he sees The Legend charging at him. He ducks and back body drops Darring over the ropes and onto the floor. Dann takes a moment to catch his breath before stepping through the top and middle rope to exit the ring. Steve grabs Darring by the arm, and tries to shoot him into the ring post. Darring reverses it, however, and sends Dann in. The Legend catches Dann while he's stumbling, and bulldogs him onto the steel ring steps. Darring not wasting any time rolls Dann back into the ring and quickly follow in behind him.] CHANEY: Darring seems to be taking apart Dann one body part at a time. WATTERS: Well he is a Legend in this sport. [Sean picks Steve up by his hair and delivers a piledriver right in the center of the ring. Darring with another pin attempt as the ref slides into position to make the count.] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO!!!!!!!! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRE.....................NO! CHANEY: Still fight left in Dann! And listen to the crowd go nuts. WATTERS: Kinda strange that they're popping for Dann like that.. [Sean asking the ref if that was a three count and the referee holds up two fingers. Darring shakes his head okay and then drives a stiff forearm into the face of Dann. The referee warns him about the stiff shot but Sean seems not to listen as he picks up The Fat Man and then rakes the eyes. Dann turns his back to Sean and in a second Darring grabs his neck and connects with a neckbreaker.] CHANEY: Dann holds his neck once again. WATTERS: If you ask me it looks like Sean is about to lock in The Legend Lock soon as Dann's neck has been a focal point of his attack. [Steve refusing to stay down pushes himself up onto all fours and Darring being the ring veteran that he is drives a knee into the neck/shoulder area of The Fat Man. Dann is face down on the mat laying on his stomach. The Legend applies a scissor lock to the Dann's arms. Sean then rolls in the same direction on the Steve's head, forcing the The Fat Man's body up at an angle where their neck is supporting their own body weight. At the same time, Sean is trying to hyperextend Dann's elbow across his own body.] CHANEY: The Legend Lock!! WATTERS: I called it! Damn I am great at my job. CHANEY: Let's not get ahead of ourselves. [Before the referee can even ask Dann if he gives up he taps on the mat with his free arm. The referee calls for the bell.]
[The Informer, remember him, has a microphone pressed to his lips, one of the few uncovered parts of his face, as he is about to interview number one contenders and Texan fan favorites, The Rich Family - CHEERS right on cue.] THE INFORMER: Tonight, after weeks of alleged injuries, Las Preguntas will defend their SCW Tag Team titles against the very men they defeated to win them on Rampage 1 - The Rich Family. Freddie, we have seen all of you in action. Which two are going to step up this evening when it really counts? FREDDIE: You never know. You've got me and Todd, Todd and Declan, Declan and I, Donny and Declan, Donny and I...any two of us, helped by this amazing crowd, could go out and do it. We've got strength in depth, we're always improving, we've got each other's backs and it's our time to shine. TODD: We've waited weeks for this, all four of us chomping at the bit, so it doesn't matter which two of us goes out there because we've all talked about what we're gonna do, when we get our hands on Las Preguntas and injure them for real. Everyone knows their jobs. THE INFORMER: The smart money would be on Freddie and Todd... DECLAN: Can I take this? [Todd looks and Freddie nods.] DECLAN: Donny and I have won a match here, and we've both improved a heck of a lot in the last year. We're not two lost, little boys any more. We've developed into men...men that are capable of winning the SCW Tag Team titles tonight. DONNY: YEAH! [That leads to an awkward moment.] TODD: Anyway... DECLAN: Whether it's the the Diamond... TODD: Platinum... DONNY: The Baby... FREDDIE: Or 'The First' DECLAN: Diamonds may or may not be forever... TODD: But, blood is thicker than water. DONNY: And patience comes to those who wait. FREDDIE: You don't mess with Texas - or The Rich Family. DECLAN: NEW DONNY: SCW TODD: TAG FREDDIE: TEAM [They all put their hands together in musketeer-style and look at the camera.] ALL: CHAMPIONS!!!! [The scren cuts away...]
[It's late in the night and we cut back to Funky Town! We focus on the DJ who excitedly drops some noise on the squealing ladies before speaking into a mic.] DJ: It is time to announce a winner in tonight's contest! So turn those phone numbers in to be counted! [The man who brought us masked bros before hos ... The Rico Suave of Lucha, Masked Maniac has quite the crowd. You can't hear much over the excitement and commotion, but the visual tells the story. Masked Maniac has had himself quite the night around the ladies at Funky Town. Meanwhile, his loyal pupil, The Masked Wingman brings up quite a pile of papers that can only be interpreted as phone numbers.] DJ: Wow, well look at this pile! [The Masked Wingman gives the DJ a big thumbs up.] DJ: You guys really are the ladies men, eh? Chicks dig the masks? [The Pirate of Bling is beyond over this whole thing when Tony runs up all excited.] TS: I did it man! TPOB: Oh? TS: I got a number! [Tony holds up a slip of paper, a very wet slip of paper that is no longer legible due to Tony's excessive sweat causing the writing to bleed. His face falls in total defeat when he sees the state of his number.] TS: Awww man. [Bling yawns then humors his partner.] TPOB: It was probably the loveliest lass here, right? TS: Ah... [Tony looks over his shoulder at a woman in her 80's dressed in a mumu and waving and winking at him.] TS: Sure.. [Bling nods his head.] TPOB: That be a real shame, matey. [The DJ drops more noises to get everyone's attention.] DJ: We have counted the tally and in a LANDSLIDE our winners are... THE MASKED BROS! [Cheers and applause erupts through out the club. The Masked Maniac raises his hands and waves at all his adoring fans, admirers, and potential partners throughout his stay in Texas.] MM: Thank you ... It's been a pleasure to spend time with each and every one of you lovely ladies here tonight. Those of you who connected with me will be hearing from me later. [Tony is FURIOUS with rage.] TS: Those SCAMMERS! They TOTALLY cheated! They chose this lesbian bar because they probably signed all these ladies up to surveys earlier and had them in their back pocket already! IT MAKES ME SO MAD! [Bling gets a sly smile and leans over to his sweaty partner.] TPOB: Aye, matey! These bilge sucking scallywags cheated us! So now, while they are celebrating, would be a good time to cleave them to the brisket and feed them to the fishies! What do you say? [Tony nods his head with an aggressive angry smile.] TS: Let's SMASH them! [The Masked Maniac is still entertaining his entourage of smitten ladies when Tony Sweat and The Pirate of Bling push their way through the crowd.] Lady: Hey! Watch it! Another Lady: RUDE! [... Just before the two can make it to the masked Casanova they are cut off by the larger masked bro, The Masked Wingman. The Pirate of Bling uses his head and kicks the bigger man low on the knee and Tony Sweat brings a double hammer fist down on the mid back of the masked man.] EEEEEEEK!!!! [Screams are heard from the ladies as now a two on one brawl has started in the crowd. The screams catch the Masked Maniac's attention where he sees his partner now getting worked over by his foes.] MM: Sorry ladies, but masked bros before hos! [... Maniac charges towards the action and uses a chair to springboard forward and lands right onto Tony Sweat with a lucha dive and both men fly through the crowd and into the floor.] DJ: Fellas ... This is a club of Funk and love! [Sadly, the DJ's voice is now on deaf ears. Bling and Sweat drives a few more stiff rights, but the Wingman grabs the Pirate's head and smashes his masked skull forward with a big headbutt. Meanwhile, Tony Sweat and the Maniac have rolled back onto their feet and the poor masked leisure suit has been soaked in Tony's sweat. Maniac looks down in shame and that gives Tony Sweat the advantage and he drives forward picking up the Masked Maniac and dropping him with an inverted atomic drop right on Maniac's mini-maniac's.] “___THUD___” DJ: Oh daddy ... That isn't right! [Groans are heard from the crowd as Maniac is bent over, holding his groin area. Tony drops the masked man with a double-arm DDT.] “___THUUUUUUD___” [Meanwhile The Wingman has The Pirate of the Bling high in the area almost like a football in the big gauntlet of the Wingman and as Tony Sweat turns with a big grin on his face it turns to a look of - “OH BLEEP” as his partner comes flying towards him crashing into him and sending drinks and tables flying with a loud crashing sound.] “____CRAAAAAAASSSSHHH___” [...With that ruckus security of Funky Town is on scene trying to bring some order in their club. Ladies night has turned into a SCW brawl and they have cleared out of the club as we cut back to ringside.]
[Both members of the broadcast team are staring at their screens in frotn of them with their mouths open wide in shock at what they just saw.] WATTERS: Well....damn! CHANEY: It had to happen eventually between these two teams, but you hate seeing them get into it like that in such a public place. WATTERS: What do you think this is, Chaney? CHANEY: It is expected here here, Larry. But hey, at least Tony Sweat got a phone number. WATTERS: Yeah, in the end he may be better off that it washed out on him. (chuckling) CHANEY: That is possible, but one thing is for certain....these two teams are far from finished with each other. WATTERS: That is for sure. CHANEY: Well, it's time for the main event, so let's find out if the Cartel are defending the Lonestar Tag Team Titles, or being stripped of the belts! WATTERS: Oh, you'd like it if they were stripped of the belts, wouldn't you, Chaney? CHANEY: Championships belong on champions who will defend them, Crusher. WATTERS: Personally, I think it's dirty pool, Hank Wright giving El Gringo Loco and Las Preguntas a mandate like that when poor Duda is injured. Now, Marca has to come out and defend them without his regular partner against two guys who are related... maybe even brothers! How is that fair? CHANEY: El Gringo Loco can't hide his team from the Rich Family forever. Now let's send it up to the Buff for the introductions!
[The screen switches quickly to a wide view of the sell-out crowd as the following graphic superimiposes over the view.]
[As the graphic disappears, all of a sudden, there is a commotion as spectators spot Freddie Rich and Todd Rich emerge from nowhere. Usually, they are accompanied by Declan and Donny, the younger half of the stable, but the two elder statesmen are on their tod, pun intended, though that is hardly true with this capacity crowd firmly behind the two Texans.] BUFFINGTON: The next match is scheduled for one fall and is for the SCW Lonestar Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, from right here in Dallas, Texas! At a combined weight of 477 pounds, the challengers... Freddie Rich and Todd Rich... T H E R I C H F A M I L Y ! ! ! ! WATTERS: I can't bear to watch this. The Rich Family are going to be just handed those belts, when it was their attack that injured poor Duda in the first place. CHANEY: How many times do I have to tell you, Crusher? Duda is faking that injury! WATTERS: You saw him earlier, Chaney. He was out here in a full body cast. CHANEY: Two weeks ago, it was just a neck brace and a sling. It's an obvious dodge to get out of defending the Lonestar Tag Team Titles against the Rich Family. The man is faking! WATTERS: There you go with your talk of conspiracy theories and coverups again. I suppose the next thing you'll be telling me is that the world is flat and we never really did put a man on the moon. CHANEY: No, of course not!. WATTERS: Really? Because I'd buy those before I believe that Duda is faking his injury. [Todd struts up the steel steps, wearing green tights reminiscent of the magnificent Mitsuharu Misawa, with a white trim. Meanwhile, Freddie's flowing blond locks are only outdone by his bright orange tights. Upstairs, he has a black leather jacket with an orange logo of 'The First' emblazoned on the back of it, which he points at upon assuming the middle of the ring, ready to do battle. In a rare wardrobe switch for both of them, they are wearing cowboy boots in place of their regular wrestling boots.] CHANEY: Well, the champs are up next! Let's see what their play is. ['Como, Cuando, y Porque' by Lorenzo Antonio plays over the arena speakers, inciting boos from the fans.] BUFFINGTON: And their opponents, at an estimated combined weight of 500 libras, representing El Gringo Loco's Wrestling Cartel, and being led to the ring by the Boss of the Cartel, himself... [El Gringo Loco leads both members of Las Preguntas, Marca AND Duda, from the locker room. They are both in their regular ring attire. No more full body cast for Duda! The trio makes its way to the ring with El Gringo Loco wearing both Lonestar Tag Team Title straps around his waist.] BUFFINGTON: The Lonestar Tag Team Champions... Duda y Marca... L A S P R E G U N T A S ! ! ! ! WATTERS: PRAISE THE LORD, HE IS HEALED! CHANEY: What did I tell you, Crusher? He was FAKING! WATTERS: What are you talking about, Chaney? It's a miracle! We're witnessing a miracle right in front of our very eyes. El Gringo Loco should be canonized as the patron saint of injured luchadores! CHANEY: Believe what you want, Crusher, but the truth should be obvious to anyone watching. WATTERS: The miraculous truth! [EGL tries to go over some last minute strategy with Las Preguntas before they get into the ring. However, this is abruptly interrupted by Freddie and Todd Rich each grabbing one of the champions by the head and pulling them up to the ring apron. The two cousins kick things off with some fists of fury that stun the champs. Freddie locks up with Duda, and Todd locks up with Marca, and the Rich Family bring Las Preguntas into the ring with synchronized suplexes!] [DING DING DING! ] CHANEY: Freddie and Todd Rich aren't going to wait one more second, and they bring Las Preguntas into the ring the hard way with those suplexes! WATTERS: Very unsportsmanlike, Chaney. They could have at least waited for the champs to get ready. CHANEY: They've had a month to get ready, Crusher! [Both of Las Preguntas get back to their feet, and the brawl ensues! Excitement sweeps over the crowd as the challengers take it to the champs. The punches are flying with Freddie going toe-to-toe with Duda and Todd squaring up against Marca. The First gives Duda a swift kick to the gut and then smashes his face into the turnbuckle. Todd removes one of his cowboy boots and hits Marca with it, first in the head, and then in the back. Referee Barry Snider instructs Todd that his boot is meant to go on his foot, not for use as a weapon. However, the admonishment on deaf ears, as Todd continues to wail on Marca with his cowboy boot.] CHANEY: Boy, the Rich Family sure came to fight, didn't they? Look at them taking the champs to task! WATTERS: Those aren't even regulation boots, and they're using them as weapons! You'd be all up in arms if it were Las Preguntas doing that, Chaney. CHANEY: They're getting their just desserts tonight, Crusher! [The two cousins bring their masked opponents back to the center of the ring for a 'proper' introduction, crashing their cabezas right into each other.] CHANEY: DOUBLE NOGGIN KNOCKER! WATTERS: Poor Barry Snider is having a tough time getting control of this one. He needs to do something to get some order in that ring. CHANEY: You're right, Crusher. This is all out mayhem. So far, it doesn't resemble a wrestling match at all! [Todd passes his boot to Freddie, who them slams it over Duda's head. Barry Snider tries to interject himself again, but again it is to no avail. Freddie simply hits Duda in the face with the cowboy boot again. This time, Snider's face turns beet red. The official sticks his finger in the First's face, warning that he'll disqualify them right now if that boot doesn't go back on his cousin's foot, where it belongs. The eldest member of the Rich Family reluctantly obliges, handing the boot off to Todd. The younger cousin slips it back on and then stomps Marca, who is now face down on the mat, right between the shoulder blades. Todd kicks La Pregunta Marca under the bottom rope to the ringside floor. With the luchador set up, he runs the ropes on the opposite side of the ring, gathering a full head of steam to shoot between the middle and top ropes with a suicide dive!] CHANEY: What a move by Todd Rich, showing he can fly, too, and connecting with that suicide dive! Just listen to the crowd! WATTERS: Well, it's finally one on one in the ring, at least. CHANEY: That's right, Crusher. Todd Rich is going to town on Marca outside the ring, and Freddie Rich has Duda right where he wants him on the inside. Beautiful snap suplex by Freddie, and he floats over for the pin! ONE! . . . . . TWO! . . . . . KICKOUT! CHANEY: No luck on the early pinfall attempt, as La Pregunta Duda kicks out at two. WATTERS: I'm surprised we finally saw an actual wrestling move, Chaney. CHANEY: Well, Crusher, you know that the Rich Family were cheated out of those Lonestar Tag Team Titles on our premier episode of SCW Rampage, and they've been waiting to get their hands on the champions ever since. Add to that the tension of that lawsuit, and you can understand why their emotions are running so high tonight. [Outside the ring, Todd gives Marca a flapjack on the floor before taking up his proper station in the Rich Family's corner. Inside the ring, Freddie gives Duda an arm wringer and then proceeds to drive hammerlike blows into his arm. Between the punches, the First drags his foe toward Todd Rich, who is waiting with his hand out for the tag. After one last punch to Duda's arm, Freddie makes the tag.] CHANEY: Freddie makes the tag. Hammerlock slam by Freddie Rich sets Duda up perfectly for the diving headbutt by Todd. Beautiful teamwork by the Rich Family! WATTERS: Well, that comes as no surprise. These two have only known each other their whole lives, Chaney. [La Pregunta Duda grabs at his shoulder while Todd drags him back to his feet. The second- in-command of the Rich Family sends LPD into the ropes. On his return, Todd tosses him straight up into the air and catches him on the way back down with a kick to the midsection. Todd backs into the ropes and comes back with a jumping DDT that plants the stunned Duda face first on the mat!] CHANEY: Pop-up kick to the midsection followed up by a beautiful jumping DDT, and Todd goes for the pin! WATTERS: That was an effective move, I'll give him that, Chaney. ONE! . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . KICKOUT! CHANEY: Again, only a two count, says Barry Snider. [Marca finally gets onto the ring apron in Las Preguntas' corner. Todd drags Duda back to the challengers' corner and makes the tag. He then locks Duda in a dragon sleeper and only releases the hold a mere fraction of a second before Freddie connects with a slingshot elbow drop!] CHANEY: The Rich Family are showing they really are on the same page with their teamwork, as a picture perfect slingshot elbow drop from Freddie Rich finds its target. WATTERS: El Gringo Loco is yelling at Duda to do something, anything, but it's no use. The Rich Family just have the momentum going their way too strongly. CHANEY: Another quick tag by Freddie, and Todd comes in... WATTERS: BESO MEXICANO! [Duda knocks Todd onto his duff with a desperation headbutt that also causes him to topple over backward.] WATTERS: It looks like I spoke too soon. CHANEY: Well, Duda has found his way out of the Rich Family's corner. He still looks the worse for wear, though, Crusher. [Todd gets back to his feet, holding his head. He stumbles over to Duda and tries to pick him up to his feet, but as he is bent over, the wily luchador gives him a poke to the eye.] CHANEY: Cheap tactic there by La Pregunta Duda, going to the eyes of Todd Rich. WATTERS: Es Lo Que Hay! It is what it is, Chaney! [Todd blindly stumbles around the ring while Duda takes the chance to make the tag. As soon as Todd wanders back into range, Marca launches himself into the ring with a springboard missile dropkick that puts a smile on El Gringo Loco's face.] CHANEY: Missile dropkick by Marca connects with pinpoint accuracy. WATTERS: Todd is in trouble, now! [Todd makes his way back to a vertical position, but Marca is already racing toward him after bouncing against the ropes for added momentum.] CHANEY: Tilt-a-whirl headscissors by La Pregunta Marca, and now he's measuring him up... WATTERS: SUPER PATADAAAAAAAAAAAA! [The superkick nearly knocks Todd Rich into the next installment of SCW Rampage. Marca seizes the opportunity to roll Todd up with a la magistral cradle.] ONE! . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . [Freddie Rich ducks his head into the ring in case he needs to break up the pin, but it isn't necessary.] KICKOUT! CHANEY: La magistral cradle only gets a two count. WATTERS: I'm still in awe of that superkick, Chaney. It sent shivers down my spine! [Marca helps Todd back to his feet.] CHANEY: La Pregunta Marca backs Todd up against the ropes, and now Marca's laying into him with some open handed chops to the chest. WATTERS: You can see the blood rushing up underneath Todd Rich's skin from those chops. CHANEY: Right you are, Crusher, those welts are cherry red. [LPM whips Todd into the champions' corner. He runs up the ropes next to Todd and tags in Duda before sending their opponent onto his back with a Hopper Can Rana!] CHANEY: Rana by La Pregunta Marca, and now Duda comes in. He locks Todd Rich in a reverse chinlock. Marca into the ropes... and he catches Todd Rich right in the face with that dropkick! [Marca whips Todd back into the turnbuckles in Las Preguntas' corner. LPM says something that Freddie doesn't like, and the captain of the Rich Family ducks into the ring, only to be cut off by referee Barry Snider. While Snider's back is turned, La Pregunta Duda takes the opportunity to choke Todd with the turnbuckle pad tie! Needless to say, this does not sit well with the Dallas crowd.] CHANEY: Cheap tactics now as Duda takes advantage of the distraction, choking away at Todd with the string they use to tie up the turnbuckle pads. The referee needs to turn around and put a stop to this! WATTERS: Hey, I didn't hear you complain when the Rich Family double teaming poor Duda or hitting the champs with Todd's boot, Chaney. CHANEY: He's choking him, Crusher. This is dangerous! [Eventually, Barry Snider is able to separate Freddie Rich and Marca. He turns around, but it is too late to catch Duda in the act. He is already standing there with his hands up, playing innocent. Marca tags in Duda, and Las Preguntas whip Todd Rich into the ropes for a double hip toss.] CHANEY: More double teaming by the champs, as they send Todd over with a double hip toss. This two against one needs to stop. WATTERS: Hey, they've got until the count of five. They're not doing anything illegal. [Marca exits the ring, leaving Duda to slap the sleeper hold onto Todd Rich.] CHANEY: BUENAS NOCHES, IRENE! WATTERS: This could be it, right here, Chaney! Duda's gonna put Todd Rich to sleep! [After the double teaming, it isn't long before Todd's arms stop waving and start drooping. He was already on the mat to begin with, and now it looks like Larry's prediction might come true.] WATTERS: Look at him, Chaney, he's out like a light already! CHANEY: There's no doubt Todd Rich is in trouble here, Crusher, but I wouldn't rule them out just yet. [El Gringo Loco is all smiles outside the ring. Meanwhile, Freddie Rich marches back and forth across the apron, clapping his hands and doing his best to get the Dallas fans behind his cousin.] CROWD: LET'S GO, TODD! LET'S GO, TODD! [With the fans now firmly behind Todd, Freddie Rich stands at the ready, in case he needs to come in. Barry Snider gets down on the mat to make sure that the hold isn't an illegal choke. Satisfied that everything is kosher, he raises Todd's arm into the air and steadies it. Letting go, the referee sees Todd's arm drop.] ONE! . . . . . . [Snider raises Todd's arm a second time. Like before, he steadies it and then releases.] TWO! . . . . . . [If Todd's arm falls just one more time, then Las Preguntas will retain the Lonestar Tag Team Titles. Freddie Rich knows this. The Dallas fans know this, and it has all of them worried. El Gringo Loco, the hot dog that he is, watches the referee lift Todd's arm for the third and final time with relish.] EGL: Si! Si! Se acabo! Se acabo! WATTERS: This is it, Chaney. It's all over now! CHANEY: Indeed, Crusher, if Todd's arm falls just one more time, the champions will retain. [Just as Barry Snider is about to let go, Freddie Rich storms in and breaks up the hold with a double axe handle to Duda!] CHANEY: Well, Freddie took matters into his own hands. He didn't want to wait to see what happened next, and I can't say I blame him! WATTERS: This match would be over right now if Freddie Rich hadn't made the save. CHANEY: You might be right, Crusher. [Snider backs the First back to the apron. Meanwhile, Duda takes Todd back to Las Preguntas' corner for another tag. Duda fires off a couple of stiff punches to Todd's melon to stun him for Marca, who enters the ring by way of a slingshot sunset flip. Todd, however, counters by dropping to his knees.] CHANEY: Sunset flip by Marca countered by Todd Rich! He could get a surprise pin here! ONE! . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . .[Marca uses his legs to hook Todd's arms and take him over into the pin.] ONE! . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . [Todd shifts his weight and pushes Marca back, reversing the pin.] ONE! . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . [Marca rolls Todd onto his back for a pin.] ONE! . . . .. . TWO! . . . . . [Todd floats out and rolls up Marca.] ONE! . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . [Marca presses on the back of Todd's neck, flipping him into another pin.] ONE! . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . KICKOUT! [The crowd applauds the exchange of near falls. Marca darts to the ropes and comes back looking for a tilt-a-whirl headscissors, but Todd slips out and sets Marca on his feet, only to pick him up again from behind for a blue thunder bomb! Todd holds him for another pinfall attempt.] CHANEY: Blue thunder bomb by Todd Rich! This could be it! ONE! . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . KICKOUT! WATTERS: Ha! I don't think so, Chaney! CHANEY: It was close, though! WATTERS: Yeah, it was. CHANEY: Are you sweating? WATTERS: What? No, of course not! CHANEY: You look like Tony Sweat! WATTERS: Someone messed with the thermostat. That's all. [Duda rushes into the ring, but it's too late. Todd makes the tag to Freddie Rich, who almost sends Duda's head into the third row with a sick kick!] CHANEY: FREDDIE'S NIGHTMARE TO DUDA! [Freddie waits for Marca to get to his feet so he can give him the same treatment.] CHANEY: And one to Marca, as well! Freddie Rich rolls La Pregunta Marca onto his back and makes the cover! ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . CHANEY: This is it, surely! . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE.................................. NO! KICKOUT! CHANEY: I don't know where Marca got the energy from, but he kicked out. WATTERS: It's all that training El Gringo Loco makes these guys go through. He has one of the most rigorous training programs in the world, Chaney. That's why the Cartel is so good! CHANEY: And I thought it was because of his scheming. WATTERS: That, too. He's a brilliant tactician! [Freddie goes after Duda, next, standing with one leg on either side of the mysterious, masked luchador's head. He signals for his best move, the cradle piledriver. El Gringo Loco can barely watch.] CHANEY: This is it! Freddie has him set up for Rags to Riches. Once he hits this, it's over! WATTERS: He can't do this! He already injured poor Duda once by putting him through a table with that move, Chaney! He could end this poor boy's career! [Luckily for Duda, Marca comes around just in time to make the save with a cracking back brain kick.] CHANEY: LO SIENTO! WATTERS: Marca just came out of nowhere with that one! Just in time, too. [Before the one half of the Lonestar Tag Team champions can make the cover, Todd is back in the ring, and he drives Marca's head into the mat with a cradle DDT.] CHANEY: STRIKE IT RICH! Could this be it? [Todd makes the cover.] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . THRRRR.................NO! Duda breaks up the pin! CHANEY: Just when it seems the titles are switching hands, Duda makes the save for his team. [Duda gets in behind Todd Rich and drops him on his head with a backdrop suplex!] WATTERS: RESACA DE TEQUILA! CHANEY: Into the bridge, but Barry Snider won't count. He says that Duda isn't the legal man. WATTERS: What? He is, isn't he? CHANEY: I don't know. I lost track a while ago. WATTERS: Who cares, anyway? Just make the count, ref! [While Duda and referee Barry Snider argue, Freddie comes up from behind. He spins LPD around right into a kick to the gut. He stands with one leg on either side of Duda's head and picks him up...] CHANEY: RAGS TO RICHES! WATTERS: No! No, no, no, no! [El Gringo Loco can't believe it, either. This time, Freddie Rich drops Duda right on his skull with the cradle piledriver.] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . . . . . . . . THREE....................... BROKEN UP BY MARCA! CHANEY: Just when it looked like we'd have new champions, an atomico sento from Marca makes the pin. WATTERS: Marca really saved the day, that time! [Marca sees Todd Rich getting to his feet and takes off running, barreling into him with a flying forearm that knocks him out of the ring.] CHANEY: Un Cuestion de Tiempo! And it could indeed only be a matter of time, here. [Larry 'the Crusher' Watters breathes a sigh of relief.] WATTERS: This thing has just gotten out of control, but thank goodness Las Preguntas are in the driver's seat now! [Marca shakes Duda to revive him. Once his partner is back on his feet, Marca heads to the middle rope while Duda picks up Freddie Rich for a piledriver.] WATTERS: Here it comes... SPIKE PILEDRIVER! [Duda keeps Todd from getting back into the ring with a kick, while Marca makes the cover. LPM hooks the leg.] ONE! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . TWO! . . . . . . TWO AND A HALF! . . . . . . TWO AND THREE QUARTERS! . . . . . . T H R E E ! ! ! ! [DING! DING! DING!] CHANEY: Look at El Gringo Loco. He's ecstatic that his team have survived this one. WATTERS: Why shouldn't he be? This was an all out war, Chaney. He should be proud of his team. CHANEY: Indeed it was, Crusher, and after weeks of dodging the Rich Family, Las Preguntas manage to hold onto the Lonestar Tag Team Championship. That's all the time we have for this week, Southwestern Championship Wrestling fans. Make sure to tune in next time for more jaw dropping action on SCW Rampage! WATTERS: It's been a pleasure. Ha! CHANEY: For my partner Larry 'the Crusher' Watters, this is Eric Chaney, bidding you a good fight and goodnight. [The screen fades to black and then begins showing stills from events that happened during the show as the song "Legendary" by Skillet again plays over the screen. After a lot of hard guitar riffs and drums, finally we hear that final lyric...] #LEGENDARY!# [The music fades out, as do the picture stills and all that is left is the black screen.] (c) 2019 RSE, Inc., All Rights Reserved
