Profile: Kostya Demidov is descended from Russian nobility, but you could never tell it by the life he has led. His family was deposed in the 1920s in Russia and lost all of their wealth when the communist wave swept into power. In the generations that followed, the men of the family began to slide into the Russian Mafia in and out of Moscow and other Russian cities. Kostya was expected to be an exception. He was born in Moscow, but lived much of his life in Kazan. He joined the Russian military at age 17 and was trained in sambo, combat strategies and was eventually trained in interrogation techniques. At age 23, he left the army after being caught up in several issues within his unit. Nobody knows exactly what happened, but it is believed that Kostya killed two of his compatriots over some form of deal that went sour. After leaving the army, he went back to his hometown where a friend of the family saw potential in him for their business. It was decided that he needed to travel often to not be found and taken into custody by the Russian military. It wasn't long before the "Ubiytsa" was born. Kostya gained a reputation as a skilled assassin and recovery man for the Russian Mafia. Over several years, there have been many kills attirbuted to the assassin known only as "The Ubiytsa" and no proof has ever been put together to tie Kostya to the murders specifically. As the world-wide climate has changed, so has Kostya's desires. The rumors are that he got out of the assassin life because he fell in love with a woman and had a child. However nobody has ever confirmed such a fact. Others have said that he was ordered to kill the family of a man who had wronged his particular boss and performing that caused him to no longer desire to kill. Whatever the reason, Kostya decided to do something different with his life to make legitimate money for himself and give himself the praise and honor he has never felt in life until now.
