Biography:

El Principe’s father is a legendary figure in lucha libre, affectionately remembered as ‘The King.’
The same cannot be said of his son.

A lot was initially expected of El Principe, a talented technical wrestler in his own right, but he
never quite had the athleticism or fire of his dad. This led to a heel turn and he enraged Mexican
crowds by comparing himself to his father, referring to how they are alike, knowing fine well they
weren’t, aren’t and never will be.

Known for inheriting a substantial sum of pesos from his padre, plus adding to that by infuriating
crowds in the largest Spanish-speaking country in the world, El Principe is a proud sponsor of the
Loco Army and embodies his general’s love of lucha libre.

A deluded figure, who dubbed himself ‘El Amigo Del Pueblo’ and ‘The Luchadore Next Door’ El Principe
sees himself as one of the people, though he’s only out for himself.

Don’t be fooled; the mask may conceal his identity, but his underhand tactics don’t completely
disguise one fact.

He can wrestle.

Is it time for the second generation star to show everyone that he is worth the wealth he has amassed
and befitting of his royal title?

.

Strengths

Technical ability - Principe is technically sound and usually targets the legs and back to soften
opponents up for the Guerilla Clutch. Most of his repertoire revolves around this.

Cheating - This guy is great at bending and breaking the rules. He usually doesn’t get caught either.

Economical - This guy can work long matches, principally, pun intended, because of his style. He
conserves a lot of energy.

Weaknesses

One dimensional? - While El Principe can work other parts of the body, he tends to work a technical
match, no matter what. He doesn’t deviate.

Too big to be a cruiserweight and too small to be a heavyweight? El Principe is stronger than most
cruiserweights, though not as fast and vice-versa when he comes up against heavyweights, hence his
style.

Complacency - Whether it be because he’s got his opponent in all problems, interact with any
bystanders or because he just HAS TO cheat, Principe sometimes takes his eye off the ball. Not
always, but it’s a hole in his game.
